Veers: Oh, my bad. My eyes were tired so I must've put in 344 instead of 355.

Starpottergeek: She'll appear later in the story.

XxHawktalonxX: LOL!

The night air was cool and relaxing as Kara flew over the city, her eyes closed as the gentle breeze flowed through her hair and over her face. Moments like these always made her feel peaceful whenever she was out flying, it also allowed her mind to drift and reflect on the current happenings of her life.

Though, the biggest thing that's happened to her is the growing relationship between her and Jayden. After their first kiss, Jayden took her out ona date that involved dinner on her apartment rooftop then dancing before he took her to the National City bay, changed into his giant Titan form and swam deep through the water with her clinging to his back, seeing the beauty of sealife underneath the ocean, seeing a world no human could see in the night. It was the best night of her life. After that first date, he took her out on more dates in the past several weeks, Jayden had even gone with Kara and Alex to their home to spend Christmas, where Eliza wasted no time in swooping in and wanting to know everything about her Kryptonian daughter's new boyfriend.

So Jayden revealed what he was to Eliza and told her of his past, to which she hugged him and said he was welcome in their family seeing how close he was with Kara.

Aside from that, the two heroes had spent a lot of time together whenever they had the chance, such as going over to each other's apartments to watch movies and TV, going out to eat or just sitting atop a random rooftop looking up at the stars and enjoying each other's company.

Kara had tried convincing Jayden to move out of that loft he stayed in and into her apartment but he refused, saying that was moving way too fast. Plus, he liked the place he lived in just now. He did tell her that eventually, and maybe he will move in with her, something that satisfied her.

Everything just felt perfect, and Kara had never truly been happier, Infact, she actually felt more normal than she ever has before on Earth thanks to her relationship with the son of Godzilla.

Unconsciously reaching up, Kara reached into the neckline of her suit and pulled out a necklace around her neck. It was a present she got from Jayden for Christmas. It was a silver necklace with a House of El pendent that had a tail with some dorsal spines wrapped around the symbol, as if protecting it. It was symbolic for the relationship between the son of Godzilla and the Girl of Steel.

It was one of the most beautiful things Kara had ever seen. Even though she couldn't wear it out in public for obvious reasons, she did wear it out as Supergirl. The feel of it against her skin made her smile ever so often.

Turning back to her patrol, the Kryptonian prepared for another sweep when suddenly a black blur slammed into her, the force sending her crashing down onto the rooftop of a parking garage she had been passing over.

Stunned from the sudden attack, it took Kara a second to get back to her feet, looking around as two men in black bodysuits landed on either side of her. "Who are you?" She demanded, preparing to fight them.

"They're with me." A female voice called as another figured landed, this one was a woman dressed in the same black bodysuit as the men. She had long, dark curled locks flowing down her back with a single white streak running through it.

Kara was stunned, stunned enough for the two men to grab a hold of her arms as Kara looked upon the form of her aunt...Astra.

"My dear niece." Astra smiled coldly at her niece. "Did you really think this was over?"

Elsewhere in the city, Zilla landed on a rooftop that overlooked the city and he stood there, staring down at the streets below. While he had been thinking of taking the full name of Godzilla, people were still calling him Zilla so he just stuck with the name for now.

A smile came onto his scaly features as he thought of a certain Kryptonian girl that had been on his mind for the past several weeks since he first kissed her and went on multiple dates with her in these past few weeks.

Never once in his life did he ever feel so content with his life as he did now, he thought it would be a life on the run and looking over his shoulder for Cadmus but Kara had changed that. She had proven to him he could still try to lead a normal life, yet he knew he had to be careful. Cadmus will eventually find him again and he didn't want the innocents of National City to be brought into his war with Cadmus.

The two had spoken after forming their relationship. They couldn't worry for the other that much during their hero life, just in case their enemies use the other against them. The Reactron incident was proof of that when Supergirl was revealed to be Superman's cousin, and Reactron was one of Superman's enemies.

However, despite that, everything was going great and Jayden couldn't be happier.

Yet something seemed different about their relationship, the attraction between them felt different than what normal people would feel between them. Then again, nether of them could be considered such given one was an alien with godlike powers and the other was the son of a ancient, Alpha predator with power and strength that could level entire cities and possibly end the world.

Suddenly he whipped his head around. Something inside of him went off like an alarm and his instincts were screaming to go investigate it. This feeling felt stringer than anything he's felt, yet he could also feel several emotions running through him, emotions that weren't his own.

Fear. Sadness. Anger. Anxiety. Suprise.

It confused the son of Godzilla, made him feel slightly dizzy before he shook his head and focused. "What the hell was that?" he muttered with a growl before he took off and leaped off the rooftop onto another, heading in the direction where these emotions were going off like a beacon.

Kara glared angrily at her aunt who looked back at her with a blank expression on her face. Getting a hold of herself and her raging emotions at seeing her aunt again, Kara broke the hold of the two other Kryptonians, delivering swift and powerful punches and kicks to them before attempting to escape by flight.

One of the male Kryptonians grabbed her leg and slammed her back down to the ground hard, allowing the other male to kick Kara in the stomach that sent her rolling back. Kara groaned as she tried getting to her feet as Astra walked towards her. Kara had looked at her aunt when she grabbed her by the air and forced her head back while reaching behind her and pulled out the Kryptonian knife Hank used months ago during Astra and Kara's first meeting on Earth.

The heroine immediately felt herself weakening as soon as Astra placed the knife against her throat, then she noticed there was no similar effect on Astra.

"W-Why doesn't Kryptonite h-hurt you?" Kara wheezed out as she stumbled out of the older woman's graps, trying to get away from the deadly substance that was dangerous to her kind.

"Kryptonite?" Astra raised an eyebrow at the name before she chuckled. "Is that what you call it? It's just like any other dangerous substance." Her foot came up and kicked Kara in the stomach. And with the Kryptonite weakening her, the kick felt like being hit by a metal baseball bat for Kara.

"Shield yourself in the right materials and it becomes harmless." Astra continued, waving the green blade around with a smirk.

"Afriad of a fair fight?" Kara grunted as she got to her feet slowly.

Astra's expression fell, lowering the knife at the same time. "I don't want to fight you, Kara." She said as she walked towards her niece who glared at her. "I've been blaming you for things that happened a long-"

Kara stepped back when Astra attempted to touch her. "Don't touch me!" She growled.

Astra's expression softened a little. "Your mother always said you had the heart of a hero." Her expression and voice then turned serious. "I need for you to be a hero, Kara. It's time for us to be a family again."

Despite her weakened state, Kara felt rage go through her as she glared at the woman. "You are NOT my family!" She bellowed in defiance.

Astra shook her head. "I know you hate me-"

Suddenly a blue beam struck Astra, causing her to yell in pain as she was sent flying into her two Kryptonian men. Astra looked to see Zilla standing protectively in front of Kara, his tail wrapped around her waist and allowing her to use him as something to lean against in her weakened state. He saw the kryptonite knife and crushed it under his foot then blue some Atomic Breath at it which destroyed it, no longer weakening Kara.

"This doesn't concern you, son of Godzilla." Astra said as she got to her feet with her men. She had looked into this world's history, especially about a certain other destructive monster similar to the one before her.

He tilted his head. "So, you're Astra? I heard about you." He said.

"Really? What have you heard?" Astra asked as she took note of how protective he was of her niece.

"Only that you are some cold-hearted bitch who only cares for herself instead of her family." Zilla growled, his wirds causing a spark of anger to go through the General's eyes, but it vanished as quickly as it came as she glanced at her niece

"You interact with very interesting people, Kara." Astra said before she looked back at Zilla. "I've seen this one fight and his father's history. He could be a great asset to our cause, but he stands in our way. Is he strong enough to battle one of us?"

Kara glared defiantly at her aunt as she took a step forward. "You're not laying a finger on him!" She growled while taking a stance that looked like a lioness ready to pounce.

The action surprised Astra for a moment before she narrowed her eyes, glancing between the two heroes before an unknown realization came to her as her eyes widened. "It...It's not possible..."

Taking advantage of the minor distraction, Kara grabbed Jayden and threw them both pver the edge of the rooftop and into an alleyway below, disappearing into the dephs of it.

The three Kryptonians looked but found no sign. "They're gone, General." One of the men reported.

Astra said nothing as she kept her eyes locked where her niece and her friend had vanished, thinking over her next course of action.

"Astra's back and she's up to something." Kara told Hank and Alex once she and Jayden were at the DEO to tell them about the situation they were just involved in. " And she has your Kryptonite knife."

"You didn't get that back by any chance?" Hank asked but both Kara and Jayden shook their heads, making him grunt in annoyance. "I really liked that knife."

"Wait a minute. So the Kryptonite wasn't affecting her?" Alex asked as she relayed what they said about Astra and her men having no effect from the Kryptonite. "How can that be?"

"She and her men had green devices strapped to their shoulders." Jayden said. "They must be what keeps the Kryptonite from harming them somehow."

Hank scratched his chin. "Well, that changes the game." He looked at Kara. "Why'd she attack you now, after all this time?"

"She's recruiting me for her crazy cause, whatever it is." the heroine replied. "She said Earth needs both of us. But according to the A.I. of my mother, Astra's idea of helping people on Krypton was blowing up government buildings, so..."

"She wants you off the board." the DEO Director summerized. "This could be the beginning of what we've feared since Fort Rozz first crashed on Earth, a city-wide attack."

"So where do we go from here?" Jayden asked as they stood around the center table. "I may be able to take on a Kryptonian as that is what I was born to do, but I doubt I could take on an army of them."

"I'll find out." Kara said as she turned to leave.

"Wait a minute." Alex said, stopping her. "You need at least a few hours of rest to recover."

"Now is not the time to 'big sister' me, okay?" Kara shook her head.

"Then how about me being your boyfriend?" Jayden said as he stepped forward. "You told me your aunt was a veteran soldier and had more Kryptonians. You go out there now the way you are...they'll tear you apart and you won't win. Alex is right, get some rest."

The heroine knew she couldn't win, seeing the concern on her boyfriend's face was enough to make her give in. "Alright, aklright, I'll rest up."

Alex nodded. "Tomorrow. Come in and we'll spar to make sure you're ready, okay?" Kara nodded before she and Jayden walked away towards the exist.

"This is not how I wanted you to meet the rest of my family." Kara sighed as she rubbed her forehead.

"We both have pretty weird families, mine is a near 400-feet tall giant monster who could destroy all of Russia if pissed off and ruled other giant monsters." Jayden shrugged before he wrapped an arm around her shoulder, making her smile before she yelped in surprise as he lifted her bridal style.

"I can walk, you know?" Kara said but made no move to get down.

"i know, but I like having you in my arms." Jayden smiled. "i'll snuggle with you back at yours, plus...I really like seeing your legs up close."

"You perve." Kara smacked him lightly on the chest with a laugh...
