Enora opened her eyes. She was still lying on her bed, her skin covered by sweat. Her head was resting on the still opened book. Her whole body quivered as she sat herself up. Her clothes were dangling from the chair and a small puddle had formed underneath.

"S...Seymara...", she gasped out of breath as she got out of bed, remembering her vision. She did not care what time it was. She had to talk to the magician! Immediately!

Enora rushed through the dark corridors of the mine and skidded to a halt in front of Seymara's door. A few Gorons threw her curious glances as they walked by.

Enora focused on her breathing to calm down. It had no use. She was too unsettled. Without any further thoughts she knocked and entered the room, not waiting for a response. There was no more time to waste.

Two surprised faces turned to her.

Yae, who was resting his back against the wall, remained silent while Seymara approached her with concern.

"What happened? You are pale."

"I...Link was in the dungeon...What can I do to help...", Enora burst out in tears, unable to sort her thoughts.

Seymara stroked Enora's hair.

"Calm down and come in. Sit down and tell me everything when you're ready, OK?" Seymara spoke softly, while she closed the door and offered Enora her bed to sit down.

Gratefully, the girl sink into the mattress.

"Here!" Seymara handed her a blanket, as the girl had not bothered to put on her dress.

"Let's try, shall we?. Slowly, piece by piece. What happened?"

Enora inhaled deeply.

"I... had another dream... a vision of Link."

Worry flashed in Seymara's eyes. Enora didn't notice.

She told Seymara and Yae everything she had seen in the vision. The two listened carefully.

"...and then Lugh and Princess Zelda entered the dungeon."

"Princess Zelda"? It was the first time Yae spoke since Enora had entered the room. He cast Seymara a meaningful and stern gaze, which she answered with a single nod.

Enora did not notice the silent exchange. She stared at her lap, pondering, and kneaded her fingers.

"I can't believe Zelda has been captured."

"Enora, calm down! You must be mistaken," Seymara tried to reassure her, empathy lining her voice. Enora nodded confidently. "No, it was her! I'm positive!"

"Yae!" Seymara wrapped her arm around Enora and did not look at the young man while she addressed him. She didn't have to say anything. He understood perfectly. He pushed himself off the wall and disappeared in a cloud of smoke right before their eyes.

It was quiet between Enora and Seymara. Seymara gently stroked Enoras tangled hair while both were deeply sunken in their own thoughts.

After a while, Seymara spoke up. "Have you ever wondered why YOU of all people have these dreams?"

Enora raised her head to look into the magician's brown eyes.

"No...I figured...you can do that, too," she replied after a short hesitation. "I didn't think it was something special. "

The woman shook her head slightly. "You share a special bond with Link..."

"Does he know about this? Does he know I'm there with him?" Enora interrupted her.

"Let me finish," Seymara continued patiently. "The master sword and the hero are bound to each other. You're always with him in spirit. Link might not notice." She paused for a moment as she struggled to find the right words. "His whole family was eradicated so all he has left is you. He's probably thinking about you but I doubt Link is aware you're watching."

"Is there a way I can make him see?", Enora held her breath, eager not to miss a single word Seymara was about to reply.

"No, I don't think so", she answered, much to Enora's disappointment.

Silence rose between the two of them once again. Seymara did not stop stroking Enora's head.

"Can... may I ask you something else?" the girl's thoughtful voice ended the silence.

Seymara nodded, but seemed absent-minded.

"Why..." She stared at her hands. "Why can I touch walls but not Xera?"

The woman looked down at her, her face clearly showing she was just ripped from a train of thoughts.

"The visions are like dreams. Your subconsciousness controls the way you can interact with your surroundings."

"So I could walk through walls when I believe I can?"

Seymara nodded.

"I see..." Enora contemplated loudly. "Does it work with Xera, too."

"You might be able to touch her, but she would neither feel it nor would you be able to stop her," Seymara smiled but it did not reach her eyes. "You cannot influence reality. You're there as a mere observer."

"Too bad..." Enora drooped her head as she pulled her legs onto the bed and wrapped her arms around them.

"On the other hand, you can't be hurt, neither." Seymara smiled encouragingly at her but she still couldn't hide the sorrow in her brown eyes.

The woman stood up from the bed.

"Would you like to go accompany me to Snow Peaks?"

"Huh?" The girl looked up in surprise. "What's there?"

Seymara had often left the mine, but no one had ever been allowed to accompany her. No one even knew where she was going and what she was doing there.

"There is something that might be of use for us."

"Can I really go?" Enora inquired skeptically.

"If you want to."

"Yeah, sure." The girl nodded eagerly as she jumped up. The blanket slipped off her shoulders.

"When do we leave?"

Seymara smiled, this time genuinely amused. She draped the blanket back around Enora's bare shoulders and ushered her to the door.

"As soon as you put on some clothes."

It was dark outside. Even though the rain had stopped pouring, the clouds still moved across the sky like black veil that didn't let through any light.

Enora's eyes flashed adventurously as she jumped from one leg to the other unable to conceal her excitement.

She was wearing a warm cape over her dress.

Smiling, Seymara lifted the ocarina to her lips and played the familiar melody that carried them both away, northward, to the coldest part of Hyrule.

The wind whirled frostily around her as they slowly set foot in the snow, which was frozen into a solid layer. Thousands of snowflakes were dancing in front of them in the storm, blocking their vision.

Small clouds of fog emerged from Seymara's nose as she exhaled. Slowly she started to move, closely followed by Enora who had to hurry not to lose her mentor in the snowstorm.

She felt the cold on her skin despite the cape, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Luckily she was mostly immune to extreme temperatures. Though, she definitely felt the cold much stronger than she had imagined. Curiously, she looked around, but could hardly see anything more than the billows of snowflakes and fog around her.

"Be careful. There are white wolfos around," the magician pointed out as she glanced back.

Her purple skirt, fluttered in the wind and stood out from the glaring white of the snow around them. Enora quickly caught up.

"What are we looking for," she asked after a while, holding her hand in front of her eyes to protect them from the cold wind.

Enora didn't know if she'd ever answer, as Seymara spun around and send a green flash of lightning at a big and white figure that had appeared next to Enora.

Without a sound, the creature disintegrated into thousands of tiny ice crystals that were blown away by the wind.

Wordlessly, they continued their way, which had begun to wind up a mountain as nothing more than a narrow path on the mountain slope.

"Hoy!" A gigantic silhouette emerged from behind. "What are you doing here?"

Enora froze in her tracks. Slowly the girl turned around and stared up into a huge face with protruding jaw. Pointed teeth were lined up in its mouth like deadly daggers. Curious large eyes were staring down at her.

Seymara immediately joined her.

"You must be the giant from the mountains," she said without a hint of fear in her voice.

The being nodded. "My name is Yeto and who are you? Are you allies of those scary creatures that have been roaming around here lately?"

"We aren't," Seymara replied before Enora even had time to think about who or what Yeto was referring to. "We are friends of Link."

The giant pondered, grinding his jaws. The sound held its ground against the howling of the storm.

"Aaaah...that little green one?"

Again the magician nodded.

"It's been a while since I've heard from him," murmured the tall white creature. "Is he around?"

For a moment silence fell upon them as Seymara cast her companion a quick glance.

"No, he's busy elsewhere and has sent us here as he needs your help."

"I see. My I invite you to my house? It's much more comfortable there and Yeta will be happy to welcome guests. We don't have visitors that often."

With that he stomped off, past Seymara and Enora, almost pushing them off the path with his broad tail.

"Rude," mumbled Enora. Seymara cast her an amused look.

Both of them followed him.

Exhausted, they arrived at a large villa, built of solid, gray stone. Smoke rose from the chimney.

Smacking his lips, Yeto lifted his nose into the breeze.

"Yummy! It's almost time for dinner," he noted with satisfaction as he opened the large door and let the visitors in.

Big suits of armor stood like metal guards on both sides of the door, two staircases connected this floor to a top floor. A layer of ice had spread out in the middle of the dilapidated room. One of the stairs was broken and part of the ceiling was gone, opening up to the grey sky above. Icicles tingled from the beams and banisters above them. Those sure would hurt if they fell down. Probably kill any clueless Hylian. Yeto, however, doesn't seem to care too much.

Carefully the women crossed the ice while Yeto simply stomped over it towards a door that lead into another room. This one was much more comfortable. The floor was covered by a red carpet. There was a fireplace in the wall opposite of the entrance, in which a warm fire crackled.

"Yeta! We have visitors," Yeto shouted as he opened the door to his right.

A bubbly, chubby woman, only half the size of her husband, entered the room.

"What a beautiful surprise. Make yourself comfortable. Dinner's almost ready."

She walked Seymara to an armchair that was big enough such that Enora also found plenty of room in it next to the magician.

The floor trembled when Yeto dropped to the floor in front of the fireplace and Yeta cast him a warning look.

"I'll be right back," she chirped as she scurried into the neighboring room, probably the kitchen. She returned shortly afterwards, carrying a tray with four large plates. White steam emerged from each of them, filling the room with a delicious smell.

"Bon appetit," she said as she sat down next to her husband in a much more elegant way than he had done before.

"Yummy!" Full of anticipation, Enora bent over her plate - which was so large that it could easily have passed for a soup bowl - but dropped back into her armchair clearly grossed out. The head of a fish swam in the soup, staring at her with empty goggles. This didn't look tasty at all.

She watched Seymara, who made no effort to even look into her plate, then the yetis, who emptied theirs noisily.

"Aren't you hungry?" Yeto asked, smacking his lips.

"No, thanks, we ate earlier," assured Seymara, rubbing her stomach as confirmation.

The giant shrugged his shoulders, "Can I have it then?

"Sure."

He had already drawn Seymara's plate to him and started to empty that one as well.

"So tell me, darling: What brings you to us?" Yeta inquired, as she placed her empty plate on the floor next to her. "Yeto mentioned you might need our help?"

"Indeed," Seymara began, watching the giant to make sure he was listening. She couldn't see his face as he was about to lick his bowl down to the last drop while he grabbed for Enora's serving with his other hand.

"We would like to know if there is a shrine or something like that somewhere in the snow peaks?"

Only Yeto's smacking broke the silence as he began to devour his third serving. The fish head rocked in the yellowish liquid before it disappeared in the big mouth.

Enora felt sick at the sight of it. She closed her eyes and rested her head against Seymara's shoulder.

"Well...no," Yeto finally replied, as the plate was empty and he placed it disappointed next to the others on the ground, while running his tongue over his teeth. The fish bone had caught between them and was dangling from his mouth.

"What about a cave?" Seymara contemplated loudly.

"There are many." Yeto was still busy removing the fishbone from his mouth using his tongue. He eventually gave up and decided to use his massive fingers to pluck it from his teeth. "For example, the one that leads to our sledding hill." He smiled cheerfully as he gently nudged Yeta, who giggled.

"No, I don't mean something like that, rather a special cave."

"Uhhhh." Clueless, the giant looked at his wife. She pondered.

"I could only think of the cave at the glacier pass, but it's been buried for several years," she explained, "There's actually nothing in there. Just a wall covered with strange symbols."

Seymara pricked her ears. "Strange symbols, you say? It might be a wild guess but it could be the cave we are looking for. Thank you very much."

She gently pushed Enora's head to the side to get up, but the girl just dropped backwards into the chair, releasing a soft moan. She lolled to the side and slept on undisturbed.

"Looks like we'll have to stay a little longer," Seymara noted with a sigh, but could not help smiling slightly when she dropped back into the chair.

Yeta nodded happily.

Hi there everyone,

Life has kept me pretty busy and I lacked motivation to continue translating Somewhere which is why there was this pretty long hiatus. I can't promise I'll go back to regular updates but I'll try to keep the project going.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter.

I have two more chapters prepared so all I need to do is to remind myself to upload. ^^;
