Within moments Nemesis and Naruto left their current solar system and flew into a portal once existing it.
The process was instantaneous and the duo arrived in the solar system that used to be the home of the Immortals. It was a land that they had escaped from to survive. It was a land that had been ravaged by the Otsutsuki Clan.
It was a place that held the regrets and nightmares of it's survivors.
Even now Nemesis felt the terror of her people from this land. The desire for vengeance burned stronger as she stared at the empty place where her planet used to be.
Naruto didn't like that he had to do this but it was necessary. It was for his world and for Nemesis. She needed to overcome the past that had become a cloat in her heart.
Feeling his hand, Nemesis squeezed it harder as she stared at her home.
"Better?"
"Yes, It's less than what I expected. I thought I might not handle the sight. I suppose, I let my fears breed more fear into my soul." Nemesis muttered in a solemn tone. She didn't have her usual playful and confident personality. It was the first time Naruto had seen her act so weak.
"It happens. Sometimes we forget to take into account that we have grown stronger. The current Nemesis is not the Nemesis of the past, and I am also here for you." Naruto turned her around and looked into her eyes that were a beautiful mixture of black and red.
Her beautiful features that took away the breathe of mortals and charmed him.
Nemesis stared into his Golden eyes and felt her negative emotions fading. It was something that Naruto would always do. He did it so naturally that anyone would mix it up with Hestia's or Amaterasu's passaive aura.
His fingers brushed her pitch black hair and her lips with the black lip stick.
She felt so relaxed as his arm pulled her close and his lips covered hers. They were in a dangerous land but this moment made it all fade into black.
In the land covered by darkness as the sun had been destroyed by the Otsutsuki, the duo were engaged in a exchange of emotions.
Nemesis never thought she would enjoy such things but Naruto made her like this, he made her enjoy such mundane things.
"You make me want to stay like this forever." Nemesis hugged him and whispered into his ear softly.
"If you enjoy it, we can do more later. Doing it all the time will be irresponsible. Now, I will need your help to see the past." Naruto hled her tightly into his arms and kissed her head.
She was not the only one, all girls liked it and Naruto also loved it. Naruto enjoyed spending time with the people he loved and if not for his responsibilities, he would have spent every minute with them.
"I am ready." Nemesis replied as she separated from him and returned to her calm persona.
"Remember that I am here with you."
"I know, please go on."
Seeing that Nemesis was ready as she could be, Naruto operated his powers over reality.
It was one ability that he developed for investigation purposes.
He could make things go back in time and then make it go through time again for him to see.
This was not true time reversal or rewind, just phantom time reversal. Here he could only watch and he couldn't interact.
It was the only way since he didn't have the ability to go back beyond a few hours.
With the help of Nemesis he could focus on what he was rewinding as the total would cost more energy.
Within seconds reality around them started flowing back and in the empty place there was a planet again.
The time continued to flow back and stopped at the point where the immortals were about to form. It was the time when they were still mortals.
The time stopped flowing back and started to move forward.
The Planet of the Immortals was called Aegis. It was different from the human planet since the species living on it were long lived and were naturally blessed with magical powers unlike the ninja world.
The ninja world was a normal world initially and only changed once the Otsutsuki came.
Aegis was three times bigger than earth and was home to vast array of species. It was a land of magic and warriors.
Nemesis was one of the dark magicians on this planet. She was an Magic King in the dark arts and one of the top.
She lived in luxury with her own territory and subjects.
She was one of the most powerful beings on the planet and was one with good morals.
Her current qualities existed back then, Nemesis listened to the weak and hapless to give them justice.
She never compromised and even got into conflicts with powerful beings above her paygrade for this cause.
Her mercy and spirit of justice won the heart of many, and Nemesis was loved by the world.
"You never talk about this." Naruto muttered as he saw the past Nemesis go through her life.
The world was beautiful and enchanting. Thete was evil and injustice around but things were getting better.
The strong were gathering to make it better but sadly there was the large tree in the horizon.
It was the Shinju, meaning that the Juubi had been planted and the Otsutsuki were already there.
The people of the planet didn't seem to be privy to this information yet. But the top individuals had sensed the planet losing energy and understood that the tree was a parasite.
There was also the arrogant presence of the Otsutsuki.
It was a challenge to the populace since the Otsutsuki couldn't allow anyone to survive or the harvest won't be optimum quality.
The tree absorbed the life force and history of the world to give the Otsutsuki everything from the world, so they made sure the strong beings of that planet died before the harvest finishes.
"I don't like tooting my horn. Why do you think I liked you." Nemesis replied as she smiled looking at the Homeland she had left behind.
It brought back good memories and she was seeing it from the other side now.
Those were good days where only a bright future was in her eyes. These days she always had the feat of losing everything again at the hand sof those monsters.
She had lived without being emotional attachment for a long time because of that fear. Naruto reminded her of the old days and made her realise that living like a coward wasn't what she wanted.
"Hmm, Because you like the way I move. You like the way I talk. You like my presence. And, I did think my way impressed upon you something from the past." Naruto kept watch over the surroundings as they flew around the planet.
"You are not wrong. I suppose, we would have ended up together regardless of this past."
"I didn't I was that charming."
"You are a very charming man that I wish I could monopolize you."
"But the current reality is better than that, is it not."
"It is more entertaining." Nemesis smiled as the duo flew around her planet.
They watched the reaction of her people to the Otsutsuki and the downfall.
They saw the warriors gathered at the battlefield and saw them fall. The Otsutsuki easily slaughter them and even one of their own was helping him.
This was the person taken over by the partner but the people didn't know.
The survivors of the battle retreated as the arrogant monsters let them.
The people argued and fought before finally Amaterasu, Odin, Gaea and Ra put forward the ceremony as their only chance to win this battle.
All of the people gathered from this discussion were the immortals alive in the current time line and more than half that weren't.
All of them were magic kings, which was the highest rank achievable in this field. They had expertise in magic and martial arts.
None of them was a recluse or unknown but famous and well-known.
The ceremony required the individuals to utilize their subjects and connect to them. Not just their subjects but everyone that believed in that concept that they wanted to represent.
Nemesis chose vengeance and retribution as that was what she had been doing for the past century.
The others chose what they thought best and the duo followed Jashin.
Jashin was a man of tall stature with black hair and dark skin. His body was slim but muscular and he had red lines all over his skin.
His eyes were red and his teeth were animalistic.
His expression was like a beast ready to unleash violence.
He was a great warrior of the world and aimed for the top, to take the throne from Ra and Odin as the strongest.
He was the leader of the Death Parade and was feared across the land. He wasn't entirely good like most of them but he wasn't pure evil.
He controlled his territory with care and intelligence. His appearance hid the knowledge and tricked people.
But at the moment the fear clouded his mind. He was afraid for the first time in his life to this degree. He was afraid for his life and his people.
Arriving back home, he commanded his people to prepare for the ceremony and he chose something that he believed was the nature of all beings, bloodshed and violence.
Jashin didn't think through how it would affect him because he needed the power and he was confident in his spirit to keep everything under control.
But reality was often disappointing and when the process started, and the people turned their attention to him, Jashin ended up in a daze.
With a sycthe in his hand with chains, Jashin reaped the lives of everyone in his city. The city became a river of blood and his body was reborn from the blood and the concept of violence and bloodshed.
Naruto and Nemesis were shocked by the scene as it was different from what any of that expected. It seems he had fallen before the battle even started.
Jashin didn't cry, he laughed and enjoyed what he did. He loved the feeling of his powers increasing with such ease. All his hard work and blood couldn't compare to this moment.
You should all be happy. Die for your lord!
He didn't go insane. He just found a different part of himself.
Jashin left behind a ghost town and his soul was connected to all the people that believed in this primitive concept.
He joined the others and saw how powerful they had all become. He was jealous but for the moment his focus was taken by the enemies that were shocked by their power.
The Otsutsuki duo were easily destroyed by the immortals but the distress call had been sent.
Naruto saw the abilities of the immortals in all their glory for the first time and fast forwarded.
The scout came and the enemy sent the appropriate force.
It was horrific as Naruto expected. There were more than fifty immortals, there power combined was less than Naruto and his people's total power, and the enemy sent ten people.
The leader of the group was on the level of Ishiki and they fought like demons. The immortals didn't even stand a chance as they were ripped apart. The world was torn asunder and the solar system shook from the battle.
The stars that were the twin Suns entered the death sequence and exploded. Few survivors slipped through with the help of their friends and the Otsutsuki didn't notice because of the explosion that Amaterasu and Ra initiated at a final resort.
Naruto and Nemesis watched the battle carefully, and noticed that one of Jashin's chains broke off.
The Otsutsuki took one glance and cursed at the planet disappearing. He unleashed a powerful blast that created a black hole in the region and left with his team.
The man had always been cool and destroyed everything with ease. He was different from all the others. His eyes were covered by black shades and he wore all black.
It was unusual for an Otsutsuki to wear black and Naruto had never thought about it.
The man had power of infinity and gravity. Nothing could reach him and he covered distance instantly. His attacks crushed everything and devoured them.
Just this person was powerful enough to completely overwhelm Naruto.
This was the truth of their situation. Even people on Ishiki's tank were powerful enough to fight Naruto with their unique powers.
This man was this strong multiple millienia ago and he should be stronger now.
He could be someone that they might end up facing.
Nonetheless, Naruto didn't let it ruin his mood and focused on his target.
Returning back to the present, the black hole was still present and Naruto ripped it apart with his gravity powers.
With that, everything inside was thrown outside at the speed of light and Naruto slowed it down.
He calculated everything and caught the chain that had been stuck inside.
The chain had survived the intense force but only a sma piece was left and much time had passed. Jashin had also gone through immense change since that time.
"Can you find him now?" Naruto held Nemesis by the waist and embraced her into his arms.
She had once again seen the collapse of her world.
"What about you?" Nemesis asked as she looked up at him
"There is a reaction but still not enough." Naruto felt that it was better than nothing but it was still disappointing.
"I will look into it later."
"Come, let me make your forget this pain." Nemesis was trying to escape and forget the pain but Naruto caught her firmly.
With his words the world of darkness transformed and the star started to form again from the energy from the black hole while the planet also reformed slowly.
The duo appeared on the planet and spent days on the planet, day meant just an hour back home.
With the reconstruction, this solar system became part of Naruto's territory.
