Chapter. Say Hocus Pocus
James Potter Pov -
"James?" In the cool air, with debris floating about, and very little haze. I faintly, hear my Pa's voice.
"James?" He cough, underneath pieces of what had to have been Hagrid's triangle tip rooftop.
I myself lay in the fireplace, that was half-brick in pieces.
"You must...save.. Albus." Pa weak tone, frightened me, I pushed myself from the rubble. In a little bit of pain, I pushed myself to find my father. Out of everything that he has done for me, for our family. I refuse to lose. To give up so willingly.
I groaned, standing to my feet. "Pa?" I call. "Where are you?" Hagrid's small home was in complete bits. There was no sign of Albus. "Dad. Where is he?" I say, "Did they take, Albus?" I ask.
Pa cough,and where Hagrid's kitchen once stood. I ran to start tossing rocks from my path.
"Pa?" I yell, finding his hand and then the rest of his body followed.
I sat him up quickly. "Where should i start?"
Badly injured, he looked to me. "The castle. Find your wand. Go to the castle. They'll try and complete the recital. Go, do what it takes to stop them, whoever they are. Save your brother, save yourself. Now. Go. I try and reach Teddy and send for help. Be careful." He say, and in that instants, he zapped me to the castle.
I drop to the floor hard, "Oof."
Carpet beneath me.
In Gryffindor common room, i had no idea where to start in search of Albus, but I knew Slytherin dungeon had to be a start. Whoever was controlling him just may have been in Slytherin house.
The Castle remained, the largest, still seven-stores high supported by magic.
It's now, not so many towers and turrets and dungeons that were once deep.
I stand up, glancing to the centerfold wall that held a portrait of Albus Dumbledore.
Dumbledore's name is inspired by the old English word 'Bumblebee.' Some say in the world Bumblebees, were going extinct. I myself, feel like great wizards like Albus Dumbledore was ...are meeting the same fate. The wizarding world, cannot meet a fate of extinctions.
I had to make my way through out the castle. First running to the stairwell.
Before i was born, Hogwarts had a hundred and forty two staircases, that were not straightforward. vary in size, shape, and destination. Now years after the Battle and second war, the staircase are rebuilt wide, and narrow but thicker and only hundred even. I did not have time for them all. I have to find Albus, the only way i can think to do that is finding a spell to end his trance, once I'm able to.
There's even a Vanishing cabinet that only allows you directly to The Great Hall with in a urgency.
I had no idea where my wand was, lost in the rubble that was now Hagrid's home.
I, not the best in Potions classes like Albus, i must at least give it a go to mix up a elixir to have him sleep. The only way i can think to do that is to feed him dairy... it's common but effective. If i had my wand it would be easier to use The Full Body-Blind Curse.
Opening the large hall doors, one by one... i rush throughout the four long tables, where students of each House sat during the day and at mealtimes. I really miss being in here with my friends during the school year.
"James Sirius Potter!" Someone yelled my full name.
I stopped running and turned.
Stood there, with light skin, blonde hair and blue eyes was my Defense Against The Dark Arts; teacher.
"Professor Clearwater?" I say as she was alone, in the way of the entrance.
"My favorite student." She says, and i honestly always disliked her.
In both; Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom, always held small portraits of former Headmaster Severus Snape, and a overly large portrait in Slytherin House dungeon. It has been there since I first started attending Hogwarts. Now, for the past two years, professor Elizabeth Clearwater removed the portrait in Slytherin's dungeon and replaced it with Salazar Slytherin photo instead.
Salazar Slytherin was a bloke and very prejudice to multiple wizards, including all Muggle-Borns and Half-Bloods.
"Not surprised to see your still alive. How's your father?" She ask, with a hint of amusement.
Angry, i tightened up my fist. I cannot allow my mind to think of my Pa, not surviving out there. Yet, he told me to come save Albus, and dammit that's what i need to do.
Slowly behind her, creep up five or so Death-Eaters, all masked in silver and black.
I'm not even a member of Slytherin House but it surprise me to use the Killing Curse on them all now. However it would do no good, seeming as i have no clue where Albus is. Once i find him, i can manage a strategy - even being out numbered.
"Where's Albus?" I spat.
"Why? Come to kill him?" she say.
"I would never do that." I say. "He's my kid brother and i come to save him, from you, and himself." I say, shifting my feet, slowing moving to the edge of the Gryffindor table, just in-case i had to use it as a shield.
"Well, I'm sorry young lad... your little brother will not be saved. He's now a Death-Eater. He will be the next Dark Lord." Elizabeth Clearwater say, and two of her Death-mates, walked to her side.
By height, one was my size and the other, shape like Albus.
Removing their hoods and mask, the two boys were indeed Albus and Fazz Greyback -a werewolf.
Fazz Greyback, father is Fenrir Greyback. Fazz is in Syltherin House, and alike his father he was vicious-looking with grey hair. However no whiskers. He had pointed teeth yet no long yellowish nails.
"Albus, why don't you show your brother your new sigh." She says, yet i already knew what it was.
Lifting his sleeve to show a bloodied brand of the Dark Mark on his arm, i felt sickened to my stomach.
"I do not care. Albus. You'll fight this. You are not one of them, you never will be." i shook my head.
"You mean nothing to him now." Elizabeth says.
"I don't care what they have done to you, Albus. Mum and Pa loves you. Lily and I love you. You are better than this. You do not have to harm anyone. You be imprisoned for it if you do, and I know you do not want to be sent away. I promise to save you, It's what Pa would have wanted."
"Kill him." Elizabeth say, and Albus in a instant raised his wand.
"Albus..."
"Sectumsempra!" He says, and i took cover beneath Gryffindor table, as stuff exploded behind me and i covered my head.
"Occidere Eum! Occidere Eum! You, one day will be greater than Merlin, the most famous Wizard of all time, it will be you Albus. Kill him!" She yells, encouraging him.
"Petrificus Totalus!" I suddenly hear Teddy's voice, and i look over from beneath the table. Very quickly, Teddy leaned down and grabbed my arm, pulling me from the floor.
"No!" Professor Elizabeth Clearwater screamed, then Teddy raised his wand once more.
"Petrificus Totalus!" He use the The Full Body-Bind Curse, also known as the Body Freezing Spell, a curse that temporarily paralyses. On Fazz and Albus. "Hey, mate. Seems you lost this..." He says, handing me my wand.
I smiled. "Thanks."
"Now, on the count of one...we run towards the doors and I grab Albus, eh?" He says.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"One." He say, then we both ran towards the death-eaters and I tried my best to focus on Albus, un-moving body. "Flipendo!" He say, sending the jinx to knock two Death-Eaters backwards.
"Sectumsempra!" I yell, running towards Professor Clearwater, then ran straight for the entrance as Teddy grabbed Albus, carrying him over his shoulders out into the hall.
Just before we got to the staircases, i immediately became frantic. "Teddy? Where can we go? What do we do now? Mum, and Lily... we have to make sure they know we're alright. We have to let someone help Albus. We-"
"Whoa, whoa, mate. Relax. Keep calm. It will all be fine. Let's get you two to the ministry." He says, and in that instance Albus jumps from Teddy's shoulder, and grabs Teddy's pocket blade and slices his arm.
Teddy doesn't make a sound, but Albus kicks his legs from underneath him. "Expelliarmus." Albus says, catching Teddy's wand and i run to tackle him. "No." He say, pointing his want at me.
"Al...Albus...Don't.." i stuttered backing away, then i turned to start running.
"Avada Kedavra-" He yells, and i fail to the ground hitting hard, waiting for the pain.
"NO." Teddy yells, just when someone screams.
"Expelliarmus!" I roll over on my back, in time to watch Lorcan spell Albus wand from his hand and Teddy fixes his.
"Petrificus Totalus." Teddy say, stunning Albus who, then again frozen falls to the floor.
When Lorcan drops to the un-moving body on the floor, i hurry to get to my feet.
"Lysander? Lysander, please wake up." Lorcan cried holding his brother in his arms.
"What happened?" Clara Chang say, rushing down the hall with three other people behind her.
"Sarah? God, sake. Where have you been?" Teddy says, to the tall, tanned skin girl with black hair.
"Long story, we have to get out of here. Those black-cloak-things are outside." she say to him.
Chills broke out all over my body, i leaned down to touch Lysander. His body was unbelievably cold.
Lorcan sniffled. "I told him not to come this way, but he saw Teddy, and knew he come to protect you. This is your fault." He says, and i felt a tear fall from my face.
"Lysander's my mate... i would have never ask for him to sacrifice his life for mine." I say.
"Your brother is evil. He should be sent to Azkaban!" He yells at me.
"Lorcan, I'm sorry. Albus wasn't himself. He's been bewitched. You must believe, me." I say, as Teddy slowly lifted Lysander's body in his arms, and Lorcan followed him.
Lysander and Lorcan Scamander, were Luna Lovegood twins, one is dead. like her late husband. will she hate me?
I couldn't breath, couldn't speak or move as everyone headed down the hallway.
My chest ached, i feel it was a panic attack soon coming on.
I had no idea, that this could have happened.
"James?" I hear the sound of Cindy's voice behind me.
Turning my head, she stood there by The Great Hall, in a dark green robe.
"Cindy?" I asks, confused. "What are you doing here? It's not safe." I say wondering why she was here.
"Clara asked me to come. She said she had a message from her mom to come to Hogwarts. I knew, her American friends would follow. I'm so sorry about, Lysander, everyone one knows how much he fancied you." She says, kneeling beside me on the floor.
"I feel so guilty. He was one of my closest mates." i whispered.
"I know, come, let's go, huh? Let's go be with Albus." She says and i narrowed my eyes confused.
Henry Clearwater Pov -
"Where's your brother James? " Sarah asked Teddy, and we, all except the Lorcan boy glanced around.
"AHHHHHH!" Screams filled the hall and we all jumped.
"James." Just then, Mr. Harry, and four of his friends came out of nowhere. "Take,him." Teddy says to a redhead, blue eyed man.
"Oh no," the man muttered sad, looking at the boy who died. I glared at Albus, who seem as he was alseep.
Soon as Teddy disappeared, Embry shifted and Sarah took of running. Soon she jumped on his back, i looked to Clara... the only reason i came here was to follow her. She had a dream of her dead mom, warning her to go to a Forbidden Forest and save Albus Potter. I was watching TV in Mr. Dean's living room, with her head, asleep on my leg. I had no clue who Albus was. Soon as we arrived on the woods, we ran into Sarah and Embry. I was so glad to see her.
Just as Mr. Potter disappeared into thin air i knew i had to stick with Sarah.
Bending down to stretch myself out, i started running and shifted, instantly feeling my four paws beneath me.
My father always taught me, Anger is a fore that burns everything in its path. Including yourself. Yet passion is what gives us life and warmth. My dad was never angry, He always seemed well controlled... i believe that's why him and my mom were so happy. She was bubbly and loved seeing him smile. She never wanted to see him frown, because that's how they met... they met when my Aunt Leah was away at school, and dad was mighty depressed, from years of not seeing her or Jacob.
Hey, Henry? Embry thought as i got to where we were before, but no one was in sight.
I forgot all about our wolf-telepathic link.
I stopped at what had to be the castle school cafeteria doors.
Yeah? I answered him.
Stay there. No one can sense you. On your right is Jane from the Volturi... her brother Alec, neck is between my teeth but she has her sights on Sarah. Sarah can possibly take the pain but i do not want to take a chance.
I couldn't help be shaken, in my fur.
Teddy Lupin has his wand stick to the blonde that was torturing James. As soon as i bite Alec's head off, kill Jane.
Kill her? I ask.
Yes. Bite her head off and save Sarah! He says.
I was nervous. I never wanted to kill anyone, yet they... they did kill my father, and almost my mother.
Looking through Embry mind of the cafeteria scene.
A lady, followed by Mr. Harry was suddenly in cafeteria.
"Elizabeth, this doesn't have to go any further." Mr. Potter say.
"Oh, it must. We're almost there..." The blonde haired lady says back. We were relation to a murder. She's a Clearwater.
"What would this prove?" Mr. Harry says, glancing to the floor at his son who was steady breathing but hurt. i wonder what happen to James.
"Why are you doing this, Elizabeth?" The lady that came with Mr. Harry asked. She had brown eyes, brown hair, in a ponytail and dark blue suit outfit.
"One child has lost his life here tonight, we don't need anymore too." Teddy states.
"Says, who." I assume, Jane from the Volturi, say -who still was a treat to Sarah.
"Have you know, children are cruel. Cruel to their parents and cruel to others who mean them no harm. My mother, went to school here, as well as my father." Elizabeth Clearwater say.
"Yes, we are well aware. Penelope "Penny" Clearwater, dated Percy Weasley, a Gryffindor student. That does not explain, you and your killing."
"Oh.. Mrs. Hermione Granger... thee brilliant, most impressive witch of our generation. How does it feel to be out-smarted?" Elizabeth say.
"I'll let you know once your locked up in Azkaban for your crimes." Mrs. Granger say.
She laughed. "If i do turn myself in, Mrs. Prime Minister, How long will you have mercy on me?" She ask.
"I'm unsure, Elizabeth, we'll have a talk." Mrs, Granger say.
"That's not good enough." Elizabeth says, and Embry bite Alec from the Volturi head off and Jane did not have time to react, before i ran through the doorway and went for her legs first, so that Sarah had time to move across one of the tables just before i fell into one.
"Imperio." A dark hair lady says to Sarah.
HENRY! STOP CAMILLA! Embry yelled, in my head.
Without a second thought, Sarah raised her hand towards Teddy as i jumped, bearing my teeth. "Avada -"
She's mine. Aunt Leah says, coming out of no where, knocking Sarah to the ground just in time biting Camilla's head off, while Embry catches Sarah. "Vivus-Kedavra."
Teddy Lupin, yells out in pain, dropping to the floor.
I'm sure she didn't say that right.
Renesmee Cullen, picks up Elizabeth wand, looking to Mrs. Harmony, i think her name is.
It's Hermione. Embry Corrected.
Oh. I thought.
"I apologize for my part, in all of this. I never wanted anyone to truly die. I just wanted...-" She cut off not finishing her words looking to Uncle Jacob who stood between me and Aunt Leah.
See... i told you.. she had it in for you. Aunt Leah thought.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uncle Jacob thought back, and suddenly, the Cullen girl looked to Elizabeth who had betrayal-darken-eyes.
"Crucio!" Elizabeth says, leaving her to scream.
Renesmee screams echoed.
"Avada Kedavra!" Mrs. Hermione, says to Elizabeth and soon all the bad Witches were dead.
At last. Aunt Leah thought.
"Oh, my God." Mrs. Hermione says and we all looked in the direction of Teddy. Beside him on the ground, was woman that was not there before.
"Hermione?" Mr. Harry says. "Sarah changed the ritual."
I wasn't sure if i knew what that mean.
It means that spell that Sarah did, with the witches dead... they were the new sacrifices, meaning the missed pronounced killing curse helped bring Teddy's mother back to life. Uncle Jacob thought directly to me.
The lady, on the ground.. bared white skin, and light brown hair... did not move as Mr, Harry put his coat over her. "Tonks?" He says, and i guess he knew her well.
