* I BROUGHT IT BACK!* I want to thank everyone for their patience as I seemed to have abandoned this story I never did there seemed to be a lack of interest and I just hit a dead end with it. A little back story I have spent that last month and a half reading my Roman and Tayla stories, my Dave and Alex stories which led me into Secrets From the Father and led me to Who She Became and reading Seth and Jordyn just encouraged me because this story was epic and I am sorry that I ever took a break. It took 3 years but here's an update. I hope that you enjoy it.
2 YEARS LATER:
For two years Seth and I have been working to give Jonah the little sister he has been requesting since he was 3 years old but it still hasn't happened yet, we are still waiting for that little blessing to one day join our family and I hope that it's soon. After 18 months of trying for a baby and nothing happening I finally swallowed my pride and faced my fears of going to the doctor to see if something was wrong with me. Being 20 years old and trying for 18 months but nothing happening was rather discouraging, I went to the doctor to see if when Kris or Charles delivered Jonah nearly 6 years ago if he had caused some damage to my uterus and my ovaries but after going through some tests, blood work and ultrasounds the doctor determined that there was nothing wrong with me. I had no problem ovulating, had no hormonal issues, there was nothing found on my ultrasounds so then Seth went to get checked to make sure he wasn't the issue and the doctor assured him that he had a very healthy sperm count and no underlying problems preventing us from conceiving a child so the doctor assured us to stop stressing so much about it, stop trying, relax and just have fun it has become a matter of it's going to happen when it's supposed to happen and we just need to be patient.
In our defense the last 2 years have been quite hectic for us, life was steady and then things quickly escalated as far as our careers are concerned. I ended up hitting a setback which pushed back my graduation a semester so I am now in my senior year of college ready to graduate in May with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science and then hopefully going to get licensed to become an Addiction Counselor as they are now calling it along with my schooling I am working as an intern for a rehabilitation clinic here in Tampa it's been a pretty rewarding experience. I started off with just shadowing licensed counselors to actually helping interact with clients and running some sessions with supervision, along with that two nights a week I work at the clinic for a group therapy session, running that group and working on my hours toward earning my license. I love what I do and I am happy that I have chosen this career path, I also am sitting at 4,160 hours toward my 6,000 hours that I will need for my license it should take about a year to get there. Along with working at the rehabilitation clinic I am also doing work to help spread awareness about Human trafficking, sex trafficking and ways to prevent it from happening like addiction Human Trafficking is becoming an epidemic in the US and I am working hard to spread awareness. It keeps me pretty busy but not too busy to keep me from raising my son and giving him the life I know he has always deserved. He's literally my best friend and every day I look at Jonah I am reminded of why I am who I am and why I want to be the person I am becoming.
Seth has been just as busy as I have been the last 2 years. It's like his WWE career picked up overnight and when he was just a mid-card wrestler he quickly became a main eventer which meant busier schedules, more traveling and he can be gone from us over 300 days a year, he is home about 2-3 days a week and sometimes he's gone for a couple weeks at a time it all depends on where he is wrestling, what his appearances are and so on. He works hard and loves what he does. I am so proud of him. His faction with Roman and Dean quickly and abruptly came to an end about a year and a half ago because things got too personal with Roman's wife Tayla; one of my best friends, they got into a storyline and it escalated pretty quickly when Dean had Tayla kidnapped shortly after she found out she was pregnant with her twin girls Leilani and Lia, we looked for her for months and finally Roman and Seth found her in a house in Lousiana and due to all the craziness that happened that day she gave birth months too early and the twins needed to stay in the NICU for quite a while. Roman and Tayla loved Louisiana so much they moved from Tampa to live there and we lost our best friends. Roman and Seth quickly became singles competitors and while Roman won his first championship last year at Wrestlemania the same day their unexpected blessing Joe was born Seth has yet to get his chance to win or hold the championship. I know his day is coming and hopefully after winning the Rumble a few weeks ago he is able to win the championship this year against Brock Lesnar when he headlines Wrestlemania. I am so proud of Seth and his accomplishments. We sacrifice a lot of time together but we are both happy with what we do and none of this sacrifices our time with Jonah.
Another great accomplishment Seth has made in the last year is he opened his own Crossfit Training facility with my brother and best friend Ben. They both run the facility together and since Roman and Tayla moved to Louisiana but now they are back in Florida but in Pensacola we see them once a month or so Seth and Ben have become the best of friends and I have become best friends with my sister in law Alyssa, we spend a lot of time together, my family is very close, Jonah and his cousins are close and I love it like this. Seth and Ben really put their all into their facility and they both hope to open a Training school here in Tampa with Cody; my brother in law, to run together but that's a work in progress. It's been pretty exciting for us in the last 2 years. If you could have asked me at 15 years old if this would be my life I would tell you no because 5 years ago I was a drug addict, given birth to a baby boy that was sold and they weren't sure I was going to make it after my pimp beat me into a coma with the intent to kill me and end my life. I am grateful for every minute of my life and everything I have accomplished in not only 2 years but the last 5 years of my life.
I am in the kitchen making Jonah breakfast while he's getting ready for kindergarten. I am so proud of Jonah, he is everything that I wasn't while I was in kindergarten. I was a wild child, care free and a rebel, I got kicked out of kindergarten because I didn't like to follow the rules or keep my hands to myself but Jonah is every teacher's dream child. He's such a kind, calm soul despite the genes that run through his body. He's a leader and his teacher always has something great to say about Jonah, he's a leader, he helps the other kids, he's kind to everyone and he is a respectful but by no means am I saying he's perfect because Jonah is definitely not always perfectly behaved and he can be a smart ass which I do credit to myself but for the most part he's a great kid and he is so smart reading on a 2nd grade level, above grade level in math but his interest is definitely in science he keeps me going and I don't even need to send him to a prestigious preppy private school like his cousins Liberty and Langston attend, Jonah and Ben's son Mikey do just well in the public school we send them to. "Good morning, Mama," says Jonah as he comes into the kitchen dressed in his school uniform wearing a white polo today and a pair of khaki pants with his curly hair pulled up into his favorite man bun with a pair of Jordan sneakers.
"Good morning, Buddy, you all ready for school?"
"Yes, Mama," he says.
"And you have your valentines cards ready to give out today?"
"Yes, Mama," he says, "they are in my bookbag. Happy Valentine's Day," he says to me as he brings me a card he made for me. I smile as I turn off the stove as I finish his pancakes. I wipe off my hands and read the card telling me how much he loves me and his name written beneath it.
"Thanks, Buddy, Happy Valentine's Day to you too!"
"Thank-you," he says as he takes his seat at the table while I get his special Valentine's breakfast ready for him; heart shape pancakes, whipped cream and strawberries with a glass of strawberry milk to match his special Valentine's Day lunch I packed for him. I take his plate to him and his milk before I let our dog Max in from outside before I go to get Jonah's valentine's present from Seth and me.
"It's not a lot but Happy Valentine's Day," I say to him as I hand him the red bag. He thanks me before he takes out the card and reads it before pulling out his presents. He smiles as he pulls out his Matchbox cars and some of his candy. He gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks, Mama," he says as we sit to eat breakfast together.
"You're welcome," I smile.
"Is Dad coming home today?" he asks.
"As far as I know," I say, "I believe he said he would be here today."
"Good, I miss him."
"Me too," I say with a smile.
"So Mama, I have a question," he says.
"Okay, what's up, Buddy?"
"I was thinking you know how Mikey has his ear pierced like Uncle Ben?" he asks.
"Yes," I say knowing what he's going to ask.
"Do you think I could get my ear pierced too? It's pretty cool and I want to get my ear pierced like Mikey and Uncle Ben."
"I don't know, Jonah, I have to talk to your dad about it. I mean I don't care, it's up to you, it's your body, your choice if you want to get your ear pierced I don't care but I have to see what your dad thinks about it. Are you sure you want to get your ear pierced?"
"Yes," he says, "It's so cool."
"Okay," I say. "So do you have any special valentines at school?" I smile knowing that with his outgoing, caring and sensitive personality that he does have multiple girlfriends in his classroom so much like my brother Ben did at his age his number 1 girlfriend would be his best friend Skylar. I just love Skylar and always enjoy when she comes over for a playdate with Jonah she's the sweetest little girl.
"Just Skylar," he smiles.
"I figured, I need to set up a playdate for you two," I suggest.
"That would be awesome," he smiles as we eat breakfast.
Once we are finished eating breakfast, I put everything in the sink to wash later while Jonah checks on Max's food bowl to earn some of his allowance by doing one of his daily chores which is to feed Max and give him some water. Jonah grabs his backpack and puts it on while I grab my purse before we leave the house. I stop to get Mikey from next door and then take the boys to school before I go off to work to spend my day doing something that I love to do.
After work I arrive home pulling into my driveway and into the garage smiling as I see Mikey and Ben outside playing riding their bikes out front which tells me that Seth is home. I get my confirmation as I pull into the garage next to his car and smile as I turn my car off. I walk into the kitchen from our garage door and smile as I see a vase of black and white lilies on the island in our kitchen. I smile as I make my way over to them knowing my husband knows me well to know I am not a roses kind of girl but a lilies kind of girl. I pick up the card that says Jordyn in his perfect cursive writing on a red envelope. I read the front of the card, "Another Valentine's Day with my wife," I open the card and read the words in print before I read Seth's handwritten words, "Jordyn, I love you so much and I am so happy that I can call you my wife, I look forward to spending this wonderful valentine's day with you. I love you, Seth," I close the card with a smile as I take in the smell of the lilies as Seth comes into the kitchen dressed up in a black shirt and a pair of black slacks with his hair pulled into a bun on the top of his head.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Beautiful," he says wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Happy Valentine's Day to you," I smile as he holds me. "I missed you."
"I missed you too," he says before softly kissing my neck. "How was your day?" he says as we separate.
"It was good, nothing too exciting but it was a good day," I smile.
"I'm glad to hear it," he smiles, "so we have plans tonight," he says.
"Oh do we?" I ask.
"Yes," he smiles, "we have plans to go out to eat and then come back and have a nice romantic evening together."
"And what about Mr. Jonah?" I ask.
"Mr. Jonah will be enjoying the evening with his Aunt Sicily while we go out to eat and have a kid free dinner and then after he's in bed, we'll be in bed."
"Sounds like a plan to me," I smile.
"And maybe we can finally give Jonah his baby sister," he smiles.
"We'll see, we both know that it will happen when it's supposed to happen not when we want it to happen," I shrug.
"I know but I do enjoy the practice."
"Mm hm," I smile, "so what time is our reservation?"
"6," he says.
"All right, I'm going to get ready," I smile.
"Okay," he smiles. I kiss his lips softly before I go to the master bedroom to take a shower and get ready for the night to spend with my favorite Valentine.
About an hour later after my little sister Sicily arrived at the house to babysit Jonah Seth and I left to head to get some sushi at our favorite Japanese restaurant. We pull into the parking lot and Seth gets a good parking space before we get out of the car, he takes my hand as we walk to the door, he stops and opens the door for me allowing me to enter in before him, his hand on the small of my back as I am wearing a pink strapless dress that falls above my knee with my brown hair braided off to the side. He tells the hostess we are there for a reservation before we are escorted to our private table. I enjoy our private tables away from Seth's fans and from my fans so we can enjoy a nice private dinner together. "Thank-you for the flowers," I say with a smile.
"You're welcome," he says with a smile. "So are you coming to Mania this year?" he asks knowing I don't usually attend many wrestling shows because wrestling is not my thing but this year seems different.
"I'll be there," I say with a smile, "I probably won't make it there till Saturday but I will be there to watch you face Brock Lesnar and hopefully get your moment, are you excited?"
"I'm very excited," he says as the waitress comes to take our drink orders, we each just order a water before she walks away. "I've been waiting for this for 2 years. My time has to be coming."
"I would hope so," I smile. "And if it is your time I want to be there front row cheering you on with Jonah."
"I wouldn't want it any other way, my mom is going too and I believe Brandon and Kaylee will be there as well," he says.
"Good to know, I can't believe that Brandon and Kaylee are getting married in June all because they met at our wedding it's exciting!"
"It really is," he smiles as they bring our water and we place our sushi order. "So I was talking to Jonah after school today he said that you told him he could get his ear pierced but you had to talk to me."
"I did say that," I say honestly. "He asked me this morning and I told him I don't care but it's up to you."
"I don't mind, it's his body he can do what he wishes and if he wants to get his ear pierced he can get his ear pierced maybe I will take him and make it a nice father son day we don't get too many of those anymore."
"He would like that a lot," I smile. "He misses you when you're away."
"I know," he says, "which is why I try to get in as much time with him as I can while I am home. I miss my time with him and my time with you."
"Well, you have him tomorrow night because I have to work," I say.
"So maybe we'll do our father son night tomorrow, we'll go get his ear pierced and then go get something to eat and maybe see a movie since you work tomorrow."
"That's a good plan," I say with a smile. "So it's about your busy time of the year huh?"
"Yeah," he says, "but then after Wrestlemania things should slow down just a little bit but if I get that championship I might have more appearances to do so I might actually be gone more. Are you okay with me being the champion?"
"I'm okay with you being the champion, you're living your dream and this is well deserved, we'll handle it together like we handle everything else," I say as they bring us our food. "I want you to be the champion this is all that you have worked for and it is well deserved hopefully WWE makes the right decision."
"Me too," he says as we begin to eat, "so how is everything with work going? School?"
"It's going really good and since I am in my last semester at school I am doing a lot more sessions independently with direct supervision, they are working me toward my 6,000 hours. I get to start writing up treatment plans next, I can't believe I finally get to graduate in May. It's been a long time coming, I'm going to work to get my hours completed for the next year and then take the state exam to get my license then I will go back to school to get my master's and then I will get my PHD so I can be Dr. Jordyn Batista-Rollins," I smile.
"That sounds sexy," he smiles. "I love you, Jordyn. You have worked so hard and I am not going to miss this for anything. I am so proud of you."
"Thank-you," I smile.
"So I got you another present," says Seth.
"Another present?" I ask.
"Yes it is kind of a joint present part for Valentine's Day and part for your 21st birthday," he smiles reminding me I am about to be 21 in a month. It's hard to believe. He pulls out an envelope and hands it to me, "Happy Valentine's Day, Baby," he says.
"Thank-you," I say taking the envelope. I open it and see there are plane tickets and a brochure for Aspen, Colorado. "We're going to Aspen?" I ask with a smile.
"We are going to Aspen, I know how much you enjoy snow but being here in Florida we don't ever get snow so I wanted to take you away for the weekend for your birthday so that we can go and enjoy some snow, have a romantic weekend away and just enjoy each other," he smiles.
"But how did you get the time off with Wrestlemania coming up?"
"It took a lot of convincing but I finally got Vince to give me the weekend off," he smiles, "so I'm taking you to Aspen. I know everyone's 21st birthday is either to Vegas or getting drunk in a bar but since we live a straight edge lifestyle I knew you wouldn't go to Vegas or go drinking for your birthday so I want to make it special for you and still have fun doing something like skiing that you like for your birthday."
"Thank-you, Seth," I smile, "I love our straight edge lifestyle."
"Me too," he says with a smile, "and I can't wait to get you to Aspen in the snowy mountains just you and me, it's going to be a good time."
"I'm sure it is," I smile. "So I got you a present too," I say with a smile before I pull the envelope out of my purse. "It's not an Aspen trip but I think you'll like it. Happy Valentine's Day."
"Thank-you, Beautiful," he says as he takes the envelope. He opens the card which I had specially made with a picture of us on the front and words of love on the back talking about how much I love him, how much he means to me and my name signed in cursive. "That's beautiful, Jordyn, you'll always be my favorite love story too," he smiles as he pulls out the tickets I got him. "Tickets to the season opener of the Cardinals game, thanks, Baby," he smiles.
"You're welcome," I say with a smile. "I know how much you and Jonah like the Cardinals so I figured I would get you tickets to their season opener."
"I love the Cardinals much better than the Cubs for sure," he says, "we're a Cardinals household where I come from."
"And I am from a Yankees household," I smile.
"The Yankees eh," he says, "I can still love you even if you support the Yankees," he makes me smile. I'm not really into football very much but I do watch football and support his Bears because of him but I LOVE baseball it's my favorite and I am a die hard Yankees fan while he's a Cardinals fan, we are trying to each sway Jonah to our baseball teams as he loves baseball just as much but he's slowly becoming a Cardinals fan like his father which I can't complain about because he idolizes Seth and wants to do everything that Seth does so I am not surprised in the least.
"You know the Yankees are better and this year they are going to take it all," I tease with a smile.
"We will see," he smiles as we continue eating.
After a nice romantic dinner Seth and I head home and are even more grateful that my little sister Sicily is the best babysitter to have Jonah in bed asleep as we arrive home. "How was he?" I ask Sicily.
"He was good," she says with a smile.
"Did you have any problems getting him to bed?"
"Not at all. We played a little bit, we had macaroni and cheese for dinner with a hot dog and your child is so weird. I never met a kid that wanted a plain hot dog," she says.
"Yeah, Jonah is pretty particular when it comes to his hot dog he doesn't like ketchup on anything, he hates ketchup and he doesn't like mustard either. My kid is particular," I smile. "And he had a bath?"
"Sure did and then I read him a story and he fell right asleep. Did you two have a nice time?"
"We had a great time thank-you so much for helping," I say.
"No problem," she says, "well, I have to get back to Nana's house and do some studying. I have a test coming up. I will see you later, have a fun night," she says with a smile, "and I am still waiting for a new niece or nephew preferably a niece," she smiles.
"We're working on it," I say with a smile.
"I know but I am sure God will allow it to happen soon," she says as Seth clears his throat, he doesn't believe in God or religion. "I mean it will happen when fate says it will happen," she says.
"I agree," I say with a smile, "thank-you, Sicily. Be safe and we'll hang out sometime soon."
"Sounds like a plan," she says before she leaves. I lock up after her and set our alarm before Seth and I head upstairs. We take a peak at Jonah to see him sleeping peacefully in his bed holding the blanket I made for him when he was a baby, it's his favorite blanket and he has yet to part from it and Max is sleeping on the floor by his bed. I close the door as Seth wraps his arm around my shoulders as we make our way to the room downstairs.
"I know you don't believe in God but my family does and I do too as well as Jonah. So can you please work with me here?" I ask.
"Yes," he says, "but you know how I feel about religion and God it's not my thing."
"I know," I say understanding. "I love you," I say with a smile, "and I missed you." I take his hand into mine and lead him back to our master bedroom, "and I am going to end the night showing you how much I missed you."
"I like the sound of that," he says with a smile as we make our way into our bedroom. He kicks the door shut and I lead him over to our bed. We slowly strip out of our clothes before we are on each other, his lips on mine kissing each other deep and passionate leading into a night of love making, celebrating Valentine's Day together and celebrating his homecoming together into the early morning hours before we drift off to sleep holding onto one another.
*A/N: So what did you think? What do you think of everything Seth and Jordyn have accomplished in the last 2 years? Do you think they had a great Valentine's Day together? What do you think of Seth finally getting his chance to advance in his career and Jordyn getting ready to graduate college? Who is ready for me to continue on with this story? Please review and thank-you for reading!
