The reliquary is finally complete! I have placed the treasures inside along with a beautiful picture of Bella, who was in the background of an image I found on Jessica Stanley's blog. A most tiresome read, but worth the effort for a photograph of my beloved!
I must say I am very pleased with how the reliquary has all come together. It looks most well indeed and is imbued with Bella's scent from her hair and shirt, producing the most delicious effect when opened.
I have collected flowers from the meadow and placed them in a small case and have some candles to use during my quiet reflections.
In a Seattle vintage store I found some postcards from Arizona last weekend, and also managed to find a miniature 1963 Chevrolet red truck in a model collectors shop, it is just like Bella's loathsome junker. I do wish I could buy her a new car, the safest one on the market. I wonder if I could get her a Bentley Arnage R for her birthday.
Having found several discarded hospital wristbands from Bella's most recent mishaps, I now know her birthday is September 13th. On the day she was born it was a Sunday, Emmett had been singing Bad by Michael Jackson on a solid 24 hour loop since its release in late August and I was preparing for a hunt as soon as the sunshine abated. I needed to get away for my own sanity. Emmett has changed little in the intervening years, but then I was much unchanged for almost a century, until the day I met Bella.
I wonder if I should access the school and hospital records about Bella to find out any necessary information. Perhaps she has an allergy! It is important for me to know so that I can protect her properly. I should not be able to survive were she to come to any injury under my care.
She must be protected at all costs!
