Luz stood with Azura, her wife Ivy and their ten year old son and six year old daughter, and Alexander with his pregnant wife. Today was a day that Luz never wanted to experience. It was unfair, she was only sixty four. It was a horrible. She watched as the gold plated, white box with the Emperor's Coven Banner on it, was being walked to a mausoleum. It all started a few days ago, Luz woke up one morning... Amity didn't. The Healer checked and told Luz that Amity suffered a heart attack in her sleep. Luz couldn't believe it, the love of her life, her soulmate, was gone. As the casket was brought in, a speaker started talking.

"We have gathered here today, to witness the resting of former Empress Amity Noceda. Her thirty five yearlong reign, has put her in history as the longest reigning Empress in Isle history. Today, we put her in her final resting place, in the mausoleum that her mother, Lilith Clawthorne, and aunt, Edalyn Clawthorne are held, in the building that former Empress Camila Noceda and former Emperor Alexander Belos are held, where her wife, former Emperor, Luz Noceda will be laid to rest when she passes. Though she's gone, she lives on through her children, Emperor Azura Noceda and Prince Alexander Noceda. Now, I ask her wife, Former Emperor Noceda to come say some words."

Luz got up and felt a hand grab hers. She looked and saw Azura grabbing her.

"Mami, you don't need to do this." Azura said.

"I do, Mija. I need to do this." Luz said.

Luz walked up and placed a hand on the casket. She wiped tears away and continued to walk up.

"What can I say about my wife? She was kind, amazing, beautiful, full of love... I... she shouldn't... she saved my life. I was being held by a terrorist who threatened to snap my neck. She killed him and saved me. Without her, I wouldn't be here. She was there every time I need a hand to hold, every time I needed a shoulder to cry on, every time... every time I needed a friend, she was there. She was my best friend, she was the love of my life, she was my everything. She was there during my darkest moment and with me during my best moment. She never left my side, no matter how bad life got, no matter how dark life got, she was the light that guided me. The light that brought me back when I was lost. I... I can't imagine my life without her."

Luz looked at the casket and started tearing up again. She fell to her knees and Azura and Alex run up to her. The grabbed her by the arms and picked her up.

"Come on Mom, everything will be okay." Alex said.

"Let's go back to the castle." Azura said.

"N-no! I need to see this." Luz said.

Luz knew the second that Amity was placed in the mausoleum; it would be the last time she would see her. Luz looked at her daughter and Azura seemed to know what her mom was thinking.

"Open the casket." Azura said.

"Yes, Emperor."

They open the casket and Luz walked over to it. She saw Amity's corpse. Slightly wrinkled skin, grey hair in the same style that she's never changed, Luz is certain she was born with, and she was wearing her old Empress dress she wore for decades. Luz kneeled down and planted one last kiss on Amity's lips. Despite being dead for three days, her lips still tasted like strawberries.

"I'll never forget you, Amity. I love you."

Luz got up and walked back as they closed Amity's casket and placed it inside. They closed it and Alex and Azura held her hands.

"Come on, mom. Let's get back to the castle." Alex said.

Luz sent one last look at the mausoleum that held her family.

"Goodbye, Amity."
