Carly is a nine-year-old girl with superpowers. She has no memory of her past and has been hunted by an otherworldly species called Grongis for the last year. Then, she meets a teenager called Eli and everything changes.

Start story:

Carly and Eli walked up to the bank that Esdeath's host used as her main base.

"So remind me of the plan again," ordered Carly.

"Hanayo will be sneaking into the base from a back door, but she needs a distraction to do this unnoticed," explained Eli.

"Which is why we are walking up to the front door," stated Carly.

"That's right," nodded Eli.

"Alright, let's get this over with," Carly picked up a rock. "Here we are!" she threw it at a camera, breaking it.

The barriers came up.

"Here we go!"

A new type of Drone Grongi appeared on Carly's side of the barrier.

She was identical to the other Drone Grongis. Only her patches showed four lines and a hedgehog. She was armed with spikes along her forearms.

She is a Hedgehog Drone Grongi.

Let the battle begin!

Carly scanned the Rising Cataphract Tablet over the Kuuga Driver's light. RISING CATAPHRACT! The light turned bright-red with a bronze outline as she held the Tablet up. "HENSHIN!" then she placed it into the Tablet Slot. TRANSLATING! Bright-red energy covered her body. THE BALANCE RISES IN POWER! The energy dispelled, revealing Rider Girl Darkest, Rising Cataphract Emblem. WHEN I RISE, EVIL RUNS! S

Darkest drew the Abomination Tablet and placed it into the Rising Cataphract Sword's slot. TABLET CONFIRMED! READY FOR SWORD! Then she drew the Man-at-arms Tablet and scanned it over the sword's circle. SWORD TRANSLATED! She pressed the Rising Cataphract Sword's trigger. TABLET SLASHING CUTTER!

She slashed down as a mouth appeared around the sword. The hedgehog Drone Grongi blocked by crossing her arms.

She held her sword in both gloves and swung it down, breaking the guard and cutting into the Drone Grongi, only to be punched in the face plate in return.

Darkest drew the Jester Tablet and placed it into the Rising Cataphract Sword's slot. TABLET CONFIRMED! READY FOR SWORD! Then she drew the Abomination Tablet and scanned it over the sword's circle. SWORD TRANSLATED! She pressed the Rising Cataphract Sword's trigger. TABLET SLASHING CUTTER!

She slashed down as a pair of sickles appeared from the sword, cutting the arms off the Drone Grongi.

Then she spun the sword down as it was covered in a bright-red chain construct. The chain wrapped around the Hedgehog Drone Grongi and crushed her.

All of a sudden, she was punched across the back by a second Hedgehog Drone Grongi. "That hurt," Darkest summoned the Houndmaster Tablet and loaded it into the Rising Cataphract Bow's slot. TABLET CONFIRMED! READY FOR ARROW! She called out the Abomination Tablet and placed it across the scanner. ARROW TRANSLATED! She pressed the Rising Cataphract Bow's trigger. TABLET SHOOTING ARROW!

She fired an arrow as a wolf head formed around it. The Drone Grongi blocked with one arm.

Then she fired an arrow that had a chain around it. It turned into a net. Trapping the Drone Grongi.

Darkest summoned the Leper Tablet and loaded it into the Rising Cataphract Bow's slot. TABLET CONFIRMED! READY FOR ARROW! She called out the Abomination Tablet and placed it across the scanner. ARROW TRANSLATED! She pressed the Rising Cataphract Bow's trigger. TABLET SHOOTING ARROW!

She fired a wall of arrows. They badly damaged the second Hedgehog Drone Grongi.

She darted to the right and fired another arrow, a chain appeared around it, it wrapped around the second Hedgehog Drone Grongi and crushed her.

Darkest removed the Rising Cataphract Tablet from the Kuuga Driver's Tablet Slot. "DE-HENSHIN!" she was covered in a blast of bright-red and bright-bronze energy that transformed her back into Carly.

Battle ended!

Meanwhile, two Rhino Drone Grongi's appeared on Eli's side of the barrier.

They were back up by a pair of Wolf Drone Grongis.

"Let's do this," ordered Eli number one.

"O-Okay," stuttered Eli number two as she appeared next to her sister.

Let the battle begin!

Eli number one drew the Inferno Lion Progrise Key and hit the button. INFERNO FIRE! She scanned it over the Hiden Guard Driver's scanner. LOG IN! There was a loud crash as the raging mechanical tiger landed behind Eli number one. Eli number one flipped open the Key, so that the circle was the right way up while the rest of it was the wrong way up, the key showed a skeleton of a lion. "HENSHIN!" she slid the Inferno Lion Progrise Key into the slot in the right side of the Hidden Guard Driver. PROGRISE! The centre arrow moved so that it was covering the left arrow, revealing a pitch-black circle under it was a circle-shaped hole in the centre. A BOMB'S BLAST GROWS INTO A RAGING INFERNO! The lion ran around before rushing at Eli number one and fusing with her. INFERNO LION! Transforming her into Rider Girl Inferno. AN ENDLESS FLAME MELTS HER FOES!

Meanwhile, Eli number two held up the Surging Pegasus Progrise Key and pressed the button. SURGING ARROW! She scanned it over the Hiden Guard Driver's scanner. LOG IN! There was a loud crash as the graceful silver mechanical pegasus arrived. Eli number two flipped open the Key, "HENSHIN!" she slid the Surging Pegasus Progrise Key into the slot in the right side of the Hidden Guard Driver. PROGRISE! The centre arrow moved so that it was covering the left arrow. ARROWS THAT SHOT THROUGH THE SKY! The pegasus wrapped her wings around Eli Number two and then broke apart, merging with her. FLYING PEGASUS! Transforming Eli Number two into Rider Girl Surge. EVEN DIAMOND CRACKS WHEN HIT BY THESE ARROWS!

Inferno pressed the key in her belt three times. INFERNO DEFENCE DANCE! She leapt forwards into a right spinning kick, slamming her boot into the first Rhino Drone Grongi's face.

The Rhino Drone Grongi threw her off and charged. Inferno hit the Inferno Lion Progrise Key five times. INFERNO FINAL DANCE! Blazing red energy surged around her body as she charged forward and leapt into a flying kick, her boot impacted the Rhino Drone Grongi and blew her to pieces.

Surge struck the key in her belt three times. SURGING DEFENCE DANCE! She leapt forwards into a right spinning kick, the wing on her shin cut through the second Rhino Drone Grongi's arm.

The Drone Grongi punched her in the stomach. Surge hit the Flying Pegasus Progrise Key once. SURGING DANCE! She zipped forwards, throwing an uppercut, cutting her opponent with the fin on her right arm, cutting the second Rhino Drone Grongi in half.

Inferno took the Inferno Lion Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it shut. Then she hit its button. INFERNO FIRE! She loaded it into the Fire Sword's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! INFERNO LION'S ABILITY! Bright-red fire covered the sword as Inferno held the trigger down. CHARGE RISE! The sword glowed as it reached the second charged level. SUPER CHARGE RISE! Then Inferno let go of the trigger. ADVANCED CHARGE! Inferno slashed to the right and then to the left, firing two waves of fire. INFERNO DISPATCH VENT! The two fire waves cut through the two Wolf Drone Grongis.

Surge removed the Fly Pegasus Progrise Key from the Hidden Guard Driver. She closed the Driver by sliding the green arrow to the right. "De-henshin," she was cloaked in a bright-green glow that transformed her back into Eli number two.

Inferno removed the Inferno Lion Progrise Key from the Hidden Guard Driver. She closed the Driver by sliding the green arrow to the right. "De-henshin," she was covered in a bright-orange glow that transformed her back into Eli number one.

Battle ended!

With the battle over, the barriers around the door dropped.

"Come on!" shouted Eli as she raced forwards.

"What's the rush?" asked Carly.

"Hanayo will only be able to keep those barriers down for a few seconds!" Eli shouted back.

The two of them dove through the door right as the barriers came back up.

"That was close!" shouted Carly.

"This way," Eli ran into an elevator.

"Are you sure going in an elevator is a good idea?!" demanded Carly.

"Hanayo should have cut off the security camera by now," explained Eli.

A bit later, they got out.

The barriers came up.

Two Camel Drone Grongis appeared on Carly's side of the barrier.

A pair of Fly Drone Grongi joined them.

"Let's go!" shouted Carly.

Carly summoned the Helion Tablet and scanned it over the Kuuga Driver's light. HELION! The light turned bright-blue. "HENSHIN!" Carly slotted the Tablet into the Kuuga Driver's slot. TRANSLATE! She was covered in bright-blue energy. BARBARIC RAGE AND UNRELENTING SAVAGERY! The energy shattered off her, revealing Rider Girl Darkest, Helion Emblem. MAKE FOR A POWERFUL ALLY!

Darkest pressed on the Hellion Tablet once. FIRST TRANSLATION! She held up the Hell Bardiche and lunged forwards with a hard downwards strike, the Camel Drone Grongi blocked with her shield.

Darkest jumped back. Darkest drew the Darkest Spear and held the trigger halfway. TRANSLATING! She took aim as power built up. COMPLETELY TRANSLATED! She let go of the trigger. CIVILIZATION THRUST! She held it in both gloves and slammed it into the ground as she landed, firing a line of power that threw the Camel Drone Grongi into the air.

Darkest pressed in on the Hellion Tablet twice. FINAL TRANSLATION! She was covered in bright-blue energy that was pulled into the Hell Bardiche as she leapt into the air and came down with an overhead strike, cutting the first Camel Drone Grongi in half.

The ground around her exploded into fire and sent her flying. Rider Girl Darkest removed the Helion Tablet from the Kuuga Driver's Slot. She scanned the Occultist Tablet in front of the Kuuga Driver's light. OCCULTIST! The light turned/stayed bright-blue. "HENSHIN!" Darkest placed the Highwayman Tablet into the Kuuga Driver's Tablet Slot. TRANSLATE! She was covered in bright-blue energy. TO FIGHT THE ABYSS! Then energy vanished off her, revealing Rider Girl Darkest, Occultist Emblem. ONE MUST KNOW IT!

Darkest pressed on the Occultist Tablet once. FIRST TRANSLATION! She held up the Occult Skull and summoned a knife that slashed through the air. The Camel Drone Grongi deflected it with her shield.

Darkest drew the Darkest Spear and held the trigger halfway. TRANSLATING! She took aim as power built up. COMPLETELY TRANSLATED! She let go of the trigger. CIVILIZATION THRUST! She held it in both gloves and slammed it into the ground, firing a line of power. It shot into the air and came back down, breaking through the shield.

Darkest hit the Occult Tablet twice. FINAL TRANSLATION! She was covered in bright-blue energy that was pulled into the Occult Skull. She held it up and the eyes fired a pair of beams. The beams slammed into the Camel Drone Grongi and destroyed her.

Rider Girl Darkest removed the Occult Tablet from the Kuuga Driver's Slot. She scanned the Antiquarian Tablet in front of the Kuuga Driver's light. ANTIQUARIAN! The light turned/stayed bright-blue. "HENSHIN!" Darkest placed the Antiquarian Tablet into the Kuuga Driver's Tablet Slot. TRANSLATE! She was covered in bright-blue energy. SHE SEARCHES WHERE OTHERS WILL NOT GO! Then energy vanished off her, revealing Rider Girl Darkest, Antiquarian Emblem. AND SEES WHAT OTHERS WILL NOT SEE!

Darkest pressed on the Antiquarian Tablet once. FIRST TRANSLATION! She held up the Antiquarian Rapier and lunged forwards with a stab, she was hit by a bomb but shot through it and stabbed the first Fly Drone Grongi through the head, destroying her.

Darkest drew the Darkest Spear and held the trigger halfway. TRANSLATING! She took aim as power built up. COMPLETELY TRANSLATED! She let go of the trigger. CIVILIZATION THRUST! She held it in both gloves and slammed it into the ground, firing a line of power, it shot up and through the air, destroying the second Fly Drone Grongi.

Rider Girl Darkest removed the Antiquarian Tablet from the Kuuga Driver's Slot. "DE-HENSHIN!" she was covered by a flash of white light that transformed her back into Carly.

Battle ended!

Meanwhile, eight Wolf Drone Grongi's appeared on Eli's side of the barriers.

"L-let's go," suttered Eli number two.

"Okay, sis!" cheered Eli number three.

Eli number two held up the Surging Pegasus Progrise Key and pressed the button. SURGING ARROW! She scanned it over the Hiden Guard Driver's scanner. LOG IN! There was a loud crash as the giant mechanical titan appeared behind Eli number three. Eli number three flipped open the Key. "HENSHIN!" she slid the Colossal Titan Progrise Key into the slot in the right side of the Hidden Guard Driver. PROGRISE! The Driver opened. THE COLOSSAL BEING IS COMPRESSED! The titan threw a punch and Eli number three fist bumped with it and felt her body gain armor. COLOSSAL TITAN! Eli number three was transformed into Rider Girl Colossal. WEIGHT THAT PRESSURES EVEN GRAVITY!

Surge hit the Flying Pegasus Progrise Key once. SURGING DANCE! She zipped forwards, throwing an uppercut, cutting her opponent with the fin on her right arm, slicing the first Wolf Drone Grongi in half.

Then she was hit by a slash from the second Wolf Drone Grongi. Surge took the Flying Pegasus Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it sheu. Then she hit its button. SURGING ARROW! She loaded it into the Pegasus Bow's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! SURGING PEGASUS'S ABILITY! Bright green energy covered the blade as Surge hit the button. SURGING DISPATCH CUT! She fired a wind arrow from the bow, it broke through the second Wolf Drone Grongi's head, destroying her.

Colossal hit the Colossal Titan Progrise Key once. COLOSSAL DANCE! She punched the ground, firing out a shockwave of energy, it crushed the third Wolf Drone Grongi, who had been charging at her.

She blocked a slash from the fourth Wolf Drone Grongi and kicked her back. Colossal took the Colossal Titan Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it shut. Then she hit its button. COLOSSAL DEFENCE! She loaded it into the Gravity Axe's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! COLOSSAL TITAN'S ABILITY! Bright purple energy covered the blade as Colossal hit the button. COLOSSAL DISPATCH CUT! She leapt into the air and came down with an overhead swing, cutting the fourth Wolf Drone Grongi in half.

Surge pressed her Progrise Key twice. SURGING SECURITY DANCE! She shot forwards, slashing to the left and then to the right with her arm wings, cutting through the fifth Wolf Drone Grongi.

She leapt over a slash from the sixth Wolf Drone Grongi. Surge took the Flying Pegasus Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it sheu. Then she hit its button. SURGING ARROW! She loaded it into the Pegasus Bow's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! SURGING PEGASUS'S ABILITY! Surge held the button. CHARGE RISE! The bow's arrow glowed as it reached the first charge level. FIRST CHARGE! She released the trigger. SURGING DISPATCH DRIVE! She fired a wind arrow from the bow. It shot down through the air and destroyed the sixth Wolf Drone Grongi.

Colossal hit her Progrise Key twice. COLOSSAL SECURITY DANCE! She stomped on the ground and a massive foot appeared in the air before shooting down, it crushed the seventh Wolf Drone Grongi.

Colossal took the Colossal Titan Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it shut. Then she hit its button. COLOSSAL DEFENCE! She loaded it into the Gravity Axe's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! COLOSSAL TITAN'S ABILITY! Colossal held the button. CHARGE RISE! The axe's blade glowed as it reached the first charge level. FIRST CHARGE! She released the trigger. COLOSSAL DISPATCH DRIVE! A tunnel of gravity trapped the final Wolf Drone Grongi as Colossal darted forwards with a right swing.

Surge removed the Fly Pegasus Progrise Key from the Hidden Guard Driver. She closed the Driver by sliding the green arrow to the right. "De-henshin," she was cloaked in a bright-green glow that transformed her back into Eli number two.

Colossal removed the Colossal Titan Progrise Key from the Hidden Guard Driver. She closed the Driver by sliding the green arrow to the right. "De-henshin," she was covered in a burst of bright-purple energy that transformed her back into Eli number two.

Battle ended!

The two of them ran to the right, following the corridor.

"What happened here?" gasped Carly.

The two Rider Girls could see people in the real world screaming in absolute agony.

"This is the finance wing," explained Eli. "The people who work here are barely human anymore. All humans will one day be slaves to Esdeath like this."

"Not if we can help it," replied Carly.

The barriers came up.

A new type of Grongi arrived.

She looked like a Hedgehog Drone Grongi. But her patch showed three stars and two lines.

She is a Hedgehog Grongi.
