"Today's the day, All for One, that i put you away for good!" All Might shouts across the field to his mortal enemy. All Mights' eyes were darkened, the bright blue color radiating from his eyes were the only thing placing where his eyes really were within the darkness.
Kokei raises both his hands up, tauntingly. "I haven't seen you in so long, Toshinori, I've missed you!" Kokei smirks under his mask, "I'm sure you've missed me as well." Instead of a response, All Might slams both his feet into the ground, indenting the land beneath him. He used this as a type of takeoff, getting a good launch up into the air to lunge quickly at Kokei.
"Smash!" All Might shouts, as the distance between this is lessened by the second. Kokei aims both his palms at All Might, narrowing his eyes while he adds a couple other quirks- Strength Enhancers, Kinetic Boosters, Springlike Limbs- to amplify the power.
"Destroy!" Kokei shouts, a harsh blast of air being shot at the impending All Might. Yet, All Might wasn't sent flying. He was using his fist to punch the air! Using the pure strength of his powers to counterattack. And to Kokei's surprise, it worked.
"Huah!" All Might chants as Kokei's attack dissipates, with the hero almost completely unaffected. "You're losing your touch," All Might states, "can't even stop my most basic smash anymore. You'll definitely rot in prison." As All Might finished speaking, Kokei's attack fully stopped. Giving All Might all the time he needed to quickly lunge toward Kokei and slam his fist into his gut.
Kokei groans and coughs, kneeling his body forward and in primal position for another face punch. "Goodbye, All for One." All Might reels his arm back, stepping into his fighting stance. "Oklahoma..."
'No, this can't be it!' Kokei thought, looking helplessly at the fist that All Might. 'This can't be right, all my training.. for nothing. He's.. he's too strong.' Kokei had reasoning for this thinking, the harsh bruises, caused by just 2 of All Might's punches, were already visible and excruciating in pain. 'It's over.. already... wait- no, what am i saying? I can't give up this early, the world's watching me. I'm sure the press will be eating this up, so, I'll give them a real surprising article.'
"Smash!" All Might shouts, throwing his fist toward Kokei's vulnerable face. Upon connecting, a large shockwave blast surrounds the villain. And, after a few seconds, the punch's aftereffect disbursed. Leaving All Might alone on the battlefield, All for One no where to be seen. "..huh?"
"Missed me." Kokei taunts, appearing behind All Might, both his palms aimed at All Might's back and fully charged with the maximum the enhancers could achieve. "Destroy!" Kokei shouts, releasing the giant attack directly into the abdomen of All Might. All Might grunts, unable to dodge or block the attack in anyway due to how quickly it was launched.
This attack slowly causes for All Might to be sent flying, just like a Ragdoll. His body feebly toppling and tumbling away with the powerful winds carrying him. Not letting him stop tumbling until a ways away, his body slamming into a brick building as his leverage.
What Kokei had done was fairly simple. He kept himself in position to be punched by All Might, so he wouldn't be on edge. But, just as All Might's fist connected with Kokei's face, he morphed with the darkness. Now, newly morphed with the shadows, Kokei simply traveled behind All Might and charged for his own attack.
"You underestimate me, Toshinori, especially since your friends aren't here to back you up this time." Kokei looks about himself, observing what was occurring while he focused himself on battling. There was a news helicopter in the air, doing circles around the main event. Not to mention the villains and Katsuki, Katsuki didn't seem to struggle anymore luckily. Instead, he spectated the intense battle between the two apparent powerhouses.
"I only had them for a guaranteed victory." All Might responds, bringing himself back up to his feet and driving his feet into the ground. "You'd do the same in my position." All Might jumps into the air, launching himself back to Kokei.
"Maybe," Kokei responds, aiming both his palms at All Might and charging up another blast. 'I need to ensure the villains escape, rather, they keep hold of Katsuki. Having Katsuki keeps pressure on All Might and U.A. as a whole, by keeping him, maybe i can reach some agreements to abolish Heroism and Villainy.'
All Might keeps his lower body elevated in the air, his body not being allowed to touch the ground before using another 'smash' on Kokei. Kokei also was using his ability, a 'destroy' aimed to All Might. Using the power enhancers, Kokei was able to barely keep All Might at bay. Kokei's feet were being indented into the ground due to the sheer strength he attempted pushing back.
After a while All Might halts his attack, so does Kokei. "Looks like we're losing our touch." Kokei jokes, letting out a small giggle. "Hey, Tomura." Kokei shouts out to Tomura, he, along with the other villains and Katsuki, were no longer atop the building. Now, Katsuki was battling against the many villains attempting to contain his rage. "Capture Katsuki and get out of here!"
Tomura nods, rushing up to Katsuki and attempting to get in close. All Might grinds his teeth together angrily, "leave the boy out of this!" All Might shouts, quickly swinging another punch at Kokei. Kokei morphs together with the darkness, easily avoiding the punch.
"Watch out, Toshinori, don't wanna hurt the kid." Kokei taunts, reappearing between All Might and the commotion transpiring, at the other end of the plains, between the league and Katsuki.
All Might stares sternly at Kokei, "there's something that's been bugging me for a while now." Kokei tilts his head to the side slightly, showing his curiosity. "Kyōryokuna."
Kokei stops moving completely, paralyzed. 'Did.. did i hear him right..? Did he say my last name? Why would he say that!?'
All Might grins, seeing Kokei's abnormal internal reaction. "Seems i was right, what have you done with the boy!"
"...what?" Kokei questions, a smile slowly appearing across his lips.
"I suspected something when you used the boy's air attacks, either you took it from him and gave it back or.. or something!" All Might shouts, "but i know you did something involving him."
Kokei scoffs, "oh, really now? What use would i have with him?"
"You'll be telling me once you're in prison!" All Might swings a hard right fist toward Kokei's face. Kokei raises his left hand and grabs onto All Might's fist as it swings. He wanted to see if he could hold back the punch, he couldn't. All Might seemingly doesn't notice Kokei's hand, folding past the hand and punching the villain in his face-mask.
Kokei's head jerks backwards, his body tumbling away a few feet. All Might quickly capitalizes, jumping into the air and aiming to slam his feet down onto Kokei's body. Kokei intertwines with the darkness before All Might even jumps, quickly sliding around on the darkness of the ground. 'Goddamn, he hits hard as hell- even when holding back!' Kokei thought, 'is there any way of beating this guy?'
"Katsuki, come on!" A familiar voice rings within Kokei's ears, making him search for where the voice came from. What he saw felt like something fresh out of a movie. In the air, soaring high over the buildings, is a group of Kokei's peers. Izuku, Tenya and Eijiro were all in the air and packed close together. It was Eijiro who shouted out to Katsuki, and his attempts were not in vain.
Before any of the villains could get near Katsuki, Katsuki uses his explosions to blast himself off into the air. He glides through the air until he was at the same altitude as Eijiro. Then, the boy latches onto Eijiro's arm.
"No.." Kokei whimpers in horror, "NO!" Abruptly, Kokei unconnected with the darkness. He aims both his palms at the students hovering high in the sky. "Push!" Kokei shouts, being able to launch his attack just before All Might rushes him and slams another hard fist into Kokei.
Kokei's body tumbles down to the ground, again, but his 'push' continued. Kokei's air swivels toward the students, seeking out Katsuki yet not hitting its intended target. Rather, pushing one of the other students on board: Izuku Midoriya.
The gust of air is enough to loosen Izuku's grip and make him off balance, his weight tilts him over to the side and overall causes him to begin falling. Izuku yipes, and All Might recognizes the sound. All Might turns away from Kokei, using his powers to instead save Izuku from his long fall.
Kokei slowly stands up, looking to the villains and waving them away. "I didn't get Katsuki, but at least i got someone." Kokei looks at the spectacle of Izuku fumbling down many feet from the air. "Lucky Toshinori'll save you." Kokei comments, he used this time as a breather. Using Super Regeneration to heal his wounds to the best of his ability.
"This isn't gonna work." All for One admits, "Toshinori is the number 1 hero and very well versed with his quirk. Let's face it, you barely even know how to use a few of your quirks. And there's still more quirks I haven't taught you."
Kokei sighs, "you're right. I've got to change something."
"Or you could just give up." Neito suggests, "that's always an option. Can't win em all."
Kokei shakes his head, "no, I'm not sure I'll ever get another opportunity like this. A chance like this to get revenge on Toshinori comes once in a blue moon, probably." Kokei narrows his eyes on All Might, he was currently in the process of snatching Izuku out of the air. "Hm.. Izuku.."
After setting Izuku down a long ways away from the battlefield, All Might quickly sprints back to the fighting ring. "Now, there's no one in my way." All Might covers the distance between Kokei and him fast, and uses another 'smash' on Kokei even faster.
Kokei aims both his palms at All Might, "Destroy!" Kokei uses 2 of the strength enhancers and kinetic boosters as well as Springlike Limbs. Yet, this time, All Might outlasts Kokei's duration of using Air Cannon.
Kokei gulps, "oh shi-" All Might furiously swings another punch in Kokei's direction. Kokei uses Air Walk to walk on air and get above All Might's fist. Though, that doesn't completely save him from the shockwave of the attack. The shockwave alone is enough to drive Kokei's body backwards and make him go tumbling away again.
Kokei quickly stops himself from being rag dolled any further, using his hands to claw the ground and slowly halt his body to a stop. Kokei slowly gets up onto one knee, "screw it. I'll have to use that plan." Kokei extends his right hand out in front of himself, "i hope this works." Kokei closes his eyes and concentrates on his Warping quirk and the person he wanted to bring to him.
All Might's loud stomps only made Kokei rush more. 'Please work.. and soon.' Kokei hopes as he cautiously opens his eyes. And, just as he wanted, Izuku was now within his grasp. Izuku looked completely terrified, he was facing the rapidly approaching All Might.
Upon seeing Izuku, All Might immediately puts his running to a halt. "All for One! Let him go, now!" All Might demands,'it was obvious it was hard for him to contain his anger when it involved a student.
Kokei chuckles, "why? I promise I won't hurt him." Kokei tightly grips Izuku's neck, "feed and water him daily. Hell, maybe he'd even be a good replacement for young Bakugo."
Izuku had sweat drops running down his face at alarming rates, he was compelled with fear. He felt helpless, completely unable to do anything. "Just don't hurt the boy, he has nothing to do with this!" All Might pleads, he wasn't accustomed to dealing with hostage situations.
"I'll think about it, but for now, I'll ensure he doesn't interfere in anyway." Kokei drags Izuku with him backwards to the building that Kokei had been slammed into by All Might minutes earlier. With one hand, he reaches for a piece of broken window glass and holds the glass to Izuku's neck.
"Put the glass down, or i swear you'll regret it!" All Might threatens, he was teeming with anger.
Kokei simply smirks at All Might, though he couldn't see him doing it. Kokei uses the glass shard on Izuku's neck to slightly pierce the skin, but it immediately brings back memories of Sobokuna. "Gah!" Kokei shouts, it felt like a sore pain in his brain. The thought of Sobokuna's neck getting slit open was crippling. Causing for his grip to slightly loosen.
"Kyōryokuna! Stay focused!" All for One instructs Kokei, "don't let your emotions get the best of you!"
Kokei grunts, dropping the glass shard and using a finger to sweep up a drop of blood from Izuku's neck. Then, Kokei slightly raises up his mask and licks the blood. This causes for Izuku's body to freeze, unable for him to move. Kokei gently places Izuku to the ground, not before seamlessly slapping his back. Kokei peers over at All Might, he was eagerly awaiting for Kokei to let go of Izuku so he could get at him.
Immediately, All Might rushes in to attack Kokei. He covers the distance in a few seconds, and uses the usual regular punch as to not harm Izuku. In response, Kokei swings his fist at All Mights' using 2 strength enhancers. And to the world's surprise, Kokei's punch pushes back All Mights'. Kokei's fist forces All Mights' to pull away, then, Kokei uses his other fist to punch All Might in the chest. This one attack is threatening enough to make All Might vault away as to avoid its power.
Kokei chuckles, "what's wrong, Toshinori? Can't handle your own quirk?"
'Smash!' Was the common word exclaimed by both fighters consistently. The two fighters had moved from where Izuku's paralyzed body was and so now All Might wasn't afraid of using his real powers. Kokei used Springlike Limbs and Strength Enhancers on the copied OfA he attained from Izuku. Though, since he hadn't known a way to control it well, each time he used it he broke many of the bones in his arms. Luckily, Super Regeneration healed the wounds soon after each attack. Kokei just hoped that it'd last.
"California smash!" All Might announces his punch, jumping into the air and doing a somersault into the air before slamming his fist to Kokei's mask. Kokei interjects the punch with one of his own caliber, yet still unable to cancel out All Mights. So, the punch pushes Kokei's arm backwards and All Mights' fist is slammed into Kokei's face.
Kokei flops backwards, breathing heavily and shakily while getting up. Kokei knew nothing else to do other than keep countering All Mights' punches and hope it'd turn out in his favor. Yet by now, it just felt like a one sided beat down. Kokei rarely got the upper hand to get off a good hit on All Might, so he had to also hope for matching the number 1 heros' power. To which also rarely occurred.
Kokei lunges back from All Might so that he could cough up the blood stuck in his throat. But All Might didn't allow him to call the time out, he acted as though All for One is the same level threat as he once was. All Might quickly sprints toward Kokei, covering the distance and immediately using another 'smash' to Kokei's gut.
Kokei belches, his body contracting around All Mights' fist. But that wasn't all, All Might then uses his other fist to punch Kokei in the face. This powerful combo almost made Kokei do an entire spin, but instead, he just goes tumbling again. His AfO outfit was in tatters, luckily, his mask was still intact even after such an attack. But, All Might was chipping away at the durability of the mask and it didn't seem it'd last for much longer.
"I'll be honest, you're getting absolutely pummeled." Shihai admits, cringing at the abysmal performance Kokei was putting on.
"You don't think i can see that!?" Kokei rage fully shouts back, while he shouted blood splattered about on the inside of his mask. It hindered on his eyesight. Kokei, while still on the ground due to the previous 'smash', slams his fist on the ground. "No! No no no!" Kokei's mind plagues with memories of All Might, his prideful and cocky attitude. Him telling Kokei that he was accepted to U.A. just for him to inform him it wasn't true moments later.
"You've become pitiful, All for One, seems we really did a number on you all those years ago." All Might states as he slowly walks up to Kokei, "you're a shell of your former self. I'm sorry that you've been reduced to this."
'You're sorry? You don't get to be sorry!' Kokei thought, he wanted to stand up and beat down on All Might. But he knew it wouldn't go that easily. 'Is this really it? The end of the line for me? Getting disrespected by Toshinori on live television, then being thrown in jail?'
"No, young Kyōryokuna, this is not your fate." All for One interjects, "this is not what anyone wanted for you- what your mother wanted for you. You must fight it! Fight him! Don't lay there and forfeit, don't give him that satisfaction!
Even if you can't beat him, even if you still lose, DON'T DO NOTHING AND REGRET THIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!" All for One shouts into Kokei's ear, he's never gotten thus emotional before. So, it came as a surprise to Kokei. "DON'T SUBMIT, FIGHT!"
Kokei spits out the blood and saliva mixture from his mouth and onto his mask, it smelled horrible but that was one of Kokei's least concerns. Kokei places both his hands firmly onto the ground, they were so sore and painful from them constantly breaking and healing. This was so much so, that he couldn't even hold up his body weight and just falls back down onto his face. 'I can't, i need more time to heal. He's gonna apprehend me, I'm gonna get locked up!'
"Calm down! Nothing like that'll happen." All for One consoles the boy, "even if you just need to buy time to heal, tell him something to paralyze him. I'm sure you know nothing of the sort but, i have something perfect for this exact occasion." All for One whispers in Kokei's ear the unbelievable truth that, upon hearing it all, even made Kokei gasp.
"It's over for you, All for One." All Might states confidently, standing over Kokei's weakened body.
Kokei chuckles, "cocky as ever. It's funny, you're so sure of the truth and yet you know of nothing." Kokei slowly pushes himself up onto one knee, his whole body is in agony. It was obvious that All Might had taken the bait, since he was waiting for Kokei to finish his statement. Kokei gets back up to his feet and looks directly at All Might, pieces of Kokei's mask were chipped off but nothing enough to reveal any characteristics of him. "The boy, Tomura Shigaraki, is your predecessor, Nana Shimura's grandson."
"There's no way.." All Mights' signature smile had disappeared. He had a helpless frown on his face, and now, half of his body wasn't the ever so powerful buff built body as he always was. Half of his face and body was a scrawny weak build, while the other half was his normal body. "Nana.. what has your bloodline come to.. what happened that I could've prevented!"
Kokei uses the nearby debris as support for him to rest upon, giving his entire body a break to heal correctly. "Woah- you good, Toshinori? You aren't looking the best."
All Might peers at Kokei with a mixture of rage and disgust. "You heartless monster, you took advantage of the boy!"
"Don't go accusing me of something that bad. I have a heart too, y'know." Kokei shrugs, "he had nothing. I gave him purpose." Kokei closed his eyes, he wasn't talking about Tomura and AfO anymore. Now, he was talking about AfO and himself. "I gave him something to live for, i gave him everything he has now. And what did you do for him?" Kokei curls his hands into fists, "nothing. You did absolutely nothing other than play with his emotions. If you want a monster- a true monster- look no further than the number 1 hero."
All Might huffs, looking to the ground in shame. "It's funny, you smile all the time and leave behind a plague of despair. And who does that sound like?" Kokei questions rhetorically, "you guessed right. Me." Kokei chuckles, "you're a disgrace, Toshinori, a true example of a horrible hero."
Kokei pushes himself off the debris he used as leverage, his arms felt on fire along with the rest of his body. But, now, the pain was enough to fight through; it was bearable. "Just imagine how poor little Nana would feel seeing her.. grandson..." Kokei slows his words down, realizing what his own mom would think of him. "Imagine how.. how disappointed she'd.. she'd be." All Might breathes shakily with shame and dishonor. 'This is it, the opening i needed. I can win!'
"No! Don't listen to him!" A new woman's voice catches both Kokei and All Mights' attention. Toward the other side of the fields, there was a woman beside some rubble from the destructed buildings nearby. "Please, All Might, we need you! Everyone believes in you! So please, don't lose!"
Kokei grinds his teeth together, raising his palm and aiming it towards the woman. "Shut the hell up, you don't know anything. Des-"
Yet, before Kokei could finish his words, All Might charges Kokei. All Might, entire form now revived due to the encouraging words, slams Kokei with a uppercut. "She's right, i have way too much to protect to allow myself to be deceived by you!" All Might tells Kokei, hitting Kokei again with another harsh punch.
"Gah-!" Kokei had the wind knocked out of him, though, All Might still hit the villain with a flurry. "S-st-st-stop!" Kokei whispers, but the loud grunts of All Might, atop the loud punches into Kokei's body, overwhelm any other noises.
But, that wasn't all. All Might wanted to put Kokei out for good, so, he reels his right arm far backwards to gain momentum. Kokei watched in horror as All Might powered up his attack, and Kokei was so beaten down that he couldn't move. 'No.. not like this!' Kokei gulps, his eyes wide with fear.
"Detroit.." All Might chants, his eyes were covered in darkness and his angry smirk was back on his face. His right arm had a large amount of One for All energy gathered into it and Kokei knew where it was to go. Then, all in one instant, All Might rushes his right arm forward, thrusting his fist towards Kokei. "SMASH!"
In a last ditch effort to dodge, Kokei weakly moves to his right. But, that only changed the spot where the punch was directed at. Instead of All Might slamming his 'Detroit Smash' into Kokei's face, it went steaming into the center of Kokei's left shoulder. "AAAAAAH!!!" Kokei screams in pain, all the force of All Mights' attack had only affected one spot in his body. Kokei felt as though he was on fire, his head spinning and his arm completely numbed with displeasure.
The force of All Mights' punch creates for a large amount if dust and debris to cover the area in a fog. All Might huffs, lowering his arm to his side and standing tall with pride. Then, All Might slowly raises that same right arm up to the sky. At first, there was silence. But soon after, "YEAAAAH!" The world cheers, the sounds of people watching the news live from home seem to cheer in unison with others amongst the country. A loud roar seemed to happen all at once to celebrate the world's hero.
And, as the dust settled, All for One, Kokei, was no where to be seen. Even though this was apparent, the world still cheered the same. Some people saying that All Might blasted the villain into bits, while others said he escaped. Truth was, Kokei did escape. Kokei had morphed together with the darkness, after All Mights' attack had finished and he was barely able to move, and ran away as quick as he could.
Kokei limped down the streets a few blocks away from the plains he had fought in. He undisguised himself and now was back to being usual Kokei, but his status was the same. He had his own blood all up and down his face, walked with a limp, his arms in tatters and his left shoulder was a whole different case.
Kokei's left shoulder was in critical condition. It was a type of symbol that covered the majority of his left frontal shoulder. It was a swirl mix of black and purple and looked severe. Luckily, his shirt sleeve covered it up.
"Help.." Kokei pleads, he couldn't even muster the power in his arms to cuff around his mouth and shout loudly for help. "Anyone.. please.. i.. need.." Kokei's speech slows and his vision blurs. His footwork was unsteady and his legs were on the verge of giving out. "I need..." but before Kokei could finish his pleas, he closes his eyes and collapses face first onto the sidewalk. Within an instant he was out cold.
Authors note: what a battle, ami rite!? Man, that was fun to write but i felt pretty bad for Kokei. He got messed up mighty bad, hopefully he finds the help he needs. That's about all I've got to say so I'll talk to you all later.
