Peparia entered the Time Nest, ready for her next mission. After spending 8 years training with Cell over the course of 8 days on the outside, she was now stronger than Majin Buu with Gohan absorbed. She'd also made great progress in her Super Saiyan Great Ape control; she now had the control of a 6-year-old under their first full moon. She still had a long way to go before she could access Super Saiyan 4, but she had made progress.

This next mission that Peparia was to take on was during the Cell games. In this altered history, Gohan and not achieved his Super Saiyan 2 form, and was being defeated in a beam struggle with Cell. And along with all this, the Earthling Hercule and the Cell Juniors had defeated and either killed or crippled Kakarot and his friends. Kakarot had cursed the situation, saying "It wasn't supposed to be like this" as the Cell Juniors returned to their "father's" side, aiding him in the Kamehameha that wiped Gohan off the face of the Earth.

Peparia entered the timeline as Hercule was facing off against Cell, and thanks to the dark aura power up, Cell was about to kill the Earthling. Peparia flew in and knocked Hercule away into one of the posts around the arena, something similar to what Cell had done in the proper history.

The Earthling continued to bluster as Peparia faced off against Cell; Cell still had the dark aura power up, so he had to be worn down a bit before Kakarot could face him. Though while she did this, Hercule kept trying to make this fight about him, trying as hard as he could to do damage to Cell.

Eventually, Hercule was knocked out of the arena, and Peparia chose to take the ring out in order to check on him, giving Kakarot his turn in the ring. But something was wrong; Hercule was getting up, and he was angry. And that was when Peparia recognized what was happening; Hercule got the dark aura power up, allowing him to manipulate ki and fly. He tore right past Peparia and entered the ring again, and Peparia was forced to follow him.

Hercule was now at the level of Kakarot, forcing Peparia to use more strength than she thought she'd need to. He kept shouting to "stop interfering with me!" and things like that as he attempted to go after Cell, but Peparia knew this was Kakarot's fight, forcing her to go all out, though she didn't need to transform to take him on. She had to stop this rampaging Earthling, but she couldn't kill him like she could previous enemies; Hercule had to survive into the future for the timeline to remain on track.

It took the entire battle between Kakarot and Cell to wear Hercule down. Cell even had his moment when he destroyed the ring, removing all pretense that this was a friendly tournament, making this the death match this was always meant to be. But by the time Gohan had taken over, Cell's dark aura was still as strong as ever, getting to the moment when Kakarot threw the Senzu bean to Cell. And while this was a monumentally stupid thing for Kakarot to have done in the regular history, this made Peparia's job even harder this time around, as Cell was stronger than his resurrected Perfect Form right now.

Peparia joined Gohan in his battle against Cell, doing her best to wear him down for Gohan's eventual Super Saiyan 2 transformation. Gohan needed to be able to toy with Cell when the time came, and in order to do that, Peparia needed to drain his stamina heavily.

However, thanks to history being on course, Cell created his Cell Juniors, which forced Peparia to break off and help with them. She would unfortunately have to toy with the Cell Juniors, since Gohan killed them all in one blast once he reached Super Saiyan 2. This meant Peparia had to protect Gohan's allies from their increased power.

But something was wrong when Gohan transformed into a Super Saiyan 2; he also had that dark purple aura. This meant that Towa was screwing around with the timeline even more. And while he did destroy all the Cell Juniors with one blow each, the way he toyed with Cell was far more cruel, far more sadistic than Gohan's "power drunk" stage he entered when he gained a new transformation.

But she couldn't worry about that now; Trunks had found Towa and Mira nearby. She broke off from the battle with Cell and flew off toward her demonic enemies.

"Nothing seems to be going our way," Towa angrily said as Peparia approached from behind. She turned around and glared at Peparia. "You again? So annoying."

Peparia dropped into her fighting stance, and as expected, Mira began his own preparations for the upcoming battle. "She barely lifted a finger. And yet, I can sense her energy."

"I think it's time to harvest," Towa said, grinning slightly. "Your energy will be ours."

"I'll take that as a compliment," Peparia said, smirking. But she felt a familiar presence enter the timestream; the Trunks she knew.

"You won't have your way!" Trunks shouted, transforming into a Super Saiyan 2. Peparia did the same and rushed forward at Mira.

The battle was brutal. Mira was still far stronger than Peparia, but she wasn't going to let him win this time. She used all the strength she could muster, and even used some of the more deadly techniques she had learned from her mentors, including her new favorite, the Makankosappo. But these techniques didn't do enough damage, forcing Peparia back into her old fighting patterns to keep up.

Trunks, meanwhile, was responding to Towa as they fought, telling them that they were the Time Patrol, here to stop them messing with history. And that's when Towa realized what was happening; this Trunks was far stronger than the one currently involved in the history of the timeline.

But he was still not enough to take down Mira. They were fast enough to get through Mira's guard, but when they connected, he was a brick wall that they couldn't break through. No matter what they did, they couldn't hurt him.

Towa, who had disappeared at some point during the fight, had returned after doing whatever it was that she intended to do. "We're done here," she said, smiling sadistically. "This is going to be interesting."

Mira's face showed that he was disappointed, saying "We'll have to settle this later."

Towa, however, just said "bye" before she teleported them out of this timeline. And that's when Peparia sensed what happened; Towa took Gohan's dark aura away from him, dropping him out of Super Saiyan 2. This meant that Cell was far out of Gohan's league.

"I'll return to the Time Nest, since I can't get involved in a history I'm already a part of," Trunks said, returning his sword to its sheath. "Go help Gohan."

Peparia nodded, popped open the capsule that she had her Senzu bean in, and flew off after ingesting it. What she found was the end of the battle; Kakarot gone, Trunks dead, Vegeta tossed aside. And with Gohan lacking his strongest transformation, things were looking gloom.

But Peparia was more than enough to even the odds. Powering up into her own Super Saiyan 2 state, she rushed in and nailed Cell in the jaw, tossing him into the mountain. Cell clamored out, still smiling, intending to kill Gohan as soon as possible.

"Gohan, I know you're afraid," Peparia said. "You just lost your father to this monster, and that power up you had is now gone. But that's why you have to get angry! Let your rage explode, or everyone you care about is going to die!"

"But…I don't know if I can do that…" the boy said, still terrified.

Peparia continued to battle with Cell, holding him off as she talked to Gohan. "Yes, you can! He's already killed your father and came back stronger! He's going to kill your mother and all your friends if you don't let go!"

Shock crossed Gohan's face as Peparia words sunk in; the boy hadn't thought of his mother this entire time he'd been fighting. But knowing she was going to die if he didn't step up…it was too much to bear. And that was the catalyst that caused his rage to rise, his power beginning to spike.

"That's it, Gohan! Let it explode! Use that pain and fear for power!" Peparia shouted, sledgehammering Cell into the ground.

And Gohan did explode, with far more strength than he had been showing while under Towa's influence. And unlike before, he understood how to control his power. He was ready for the beam struggle.

And a beam struggle they had. Cell charged up his Kamehameha, and Gohan did the same. But since Cell was still empowered with Towa's power, Peparia began charging up her own Final Flash. And then, all three fired off their blasts, the beams all meeting in the middle.

"That's it, Gohan!" Peparia shouted. "Now, let go! Use that pain, fear and rage! Don't worry about the Earth, they can fix any damage we do with the Dragon Balls! DO IT!"

Gohan's power exploded as he let out a powerful kiai, his Kamehameha surging forward, causing the Final Flash and his own beam to overwhelm Cell, obliterating him as had happened in the proper timeline. And as Peparia quickly fled the scene, Gohan dropped out of his Super Saiyan state and into his base, exhaustion taking over him. The Earthlings looked down, surprised and relieved that Gohan had won, each expressing their relief in their own way. And Peparia used the scroll to leave this timeline as Piccolo scooped up his best friend to return to Kami's lookout.

Peparia returned to the Time Nest, though the fight wasn't over. There was another scroll with changes made to it, and this one would affect them all directly.
