Chapter 33

Over the years

Bella Masen

Months pass, and we find out that we are having a little girl. Violet Esme was born on November 16th, 2018. She was all her Mama. Which made me really happy. Daisy was all Edward, and Violet is all me. Violet is just as smart as Daisy is.

Three years later, for my birthday, I gave birth to a son, Matthew William was born. Charlie and Carlisle share the middle name of Matthew. William is for Billy Black. We had a Christmas snowstorm that year, and it reminded me of the vision I had before I was saved.

The girls were in the right clothes and playing with their father and grandfathers. My son was being loved by Esme, so I went to the bathroom and took a pregnancy test.

I was pregnant again.

I knew that this was going to be my last pregnancy, so I did everything I could to enjoy it.

Twins came this time around.

Poppy Anne and Azalea Jane.

After Poppy and Azalea were born, the investigation finally ended with the kidnapping.

While it was the Master's plan to try to get me pregnant, he was really just trying to get money from the Masen or Cullen families. Lot of good it did him.

The people behind it were either killed or in custody.

Except for victims like Embry.

Sadly, Embry's TBI is severe. He will never be able to live on his own, and over the years, he started to forget even the small amount of things he knew. It broke my heart when Edward and I would visit him, and he forgot me. But in a strange way, I felt relieved that maybe him forgetting me means there is no chance he will remember the time before the accident after my kidnapping. I pray.

Kate and Garrett are living in Port Angeles. They really liked the area and wanted to be close to Daisy. Funny enough, most of the victims moved within an hour or so of La Push to be near Daisy. Except for Benjamin and Tia.

Benjamin and Tia were given citizenship in America in thanks for their help to Daisy and me. They decided to live in Seattle and visited often.

The house was full, loud, and everything that I ever dreamed of. Leading the tribe was a blessing and all of the kids loved being a part of the tribe. Nobody had an issue with us pale faces as the Chief and future chief. Part of me wanted to hand over reigns to someone within the tribe, but I knew that Billy said my daughter would be chief after me.

Edward became a doctor, and I became a teacher, and we both worked on the reservation, him in the clinic and me at the school teaching middle school English and history.

Daisy, Azalea, and Matt all went to UW with scholarships. Daisy to be a lawyer, Azalea a teacher, Matt, a doctor. Poppy went to Dartmouth to be a doctor and Violet UCLA for Engineering, both getting scholarships to their schools. Edward and I were proud of each of our children.

They each married and had children of their own. Most staying around Forks or La Push. Daisy became Chief after she finished college and got her law degree. I know she makes our family proud.

Knowing my life is coming to an end, I think of how lucky I am to have lived the life I lead. I should have died while I was in the Master's control. Daisy as well. I am grateful that though I wanted to lose faith, I never did. Watching Daisy's youngest daughter, Magnolia, get married, I smile.

Sometimes, I think about Quil, Jacob, Master, and those who did evil against my family and me, and it makes me think of a verse in the Bible.

Genesis 50:20

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.

There is no doubt that kidnapping someone and trying to force them to get pregnant is wrong, but made us who we are.

Dancing with my Edward, I know I am blessed that our lives have been well lived.

Well loved.

Flowers included.

The End.
