Yang Xiao Long

I fell for what felt like a million years, my life flashing before my eyes as the darkness overtook me. Memories, both good and bad, came to me in an instant. Events that I wouldn't trade for anything in the works, things I regretted doing, and, as I took one last look into Blake's eyes as she tried to save me, things I regretted not saying when I had the chance. Still, I managed to stop that ice cream bitch from hurting my sister. I could die at least somewhat peacefully knowing that.

...Or so I thought.

See, apparently, what Ambrosius meant by "Don't fall" was "Don't fall or you'll wake up inside some little green man from another dimension's spaceship waiting to be dissected or, gods forbid, probed." That's what happened to me when I finally came to. Brainiac, naturally, wasn't too pleased when I broke free and started trashing his ship, but he wasn't able to stop me from beating the piss out of him before crashing his ship right outside of Gotham. Some nut in a bat costume was there to greet me, obviously wanting to know who I was and why I parked a skull-shaped spaceship right outside his turf, but once I explained everything, he and the rest of the Justice League were more than happy to help try and get me back home, even offering me a spot on the team until then.

While I was waiting, the strangest thing happened...Yeah, THIS is when it gets strange. I know. A few weeks later, while I was helping Flash put Captain Cold back on ice, this green ring comes flying to me. Barry seemed to know what was up and, after saying this oath he told me, this green costume started to form around me, and, before long, I was using this ring to make constructs of anything I could put my mind into.

Gotta admit...green's a pretty good color on me.

So, after getting a power battery for my new ring and a few tidbits from Tomar-Re and Kilowog, the portal Batman and his team of scientists constructed was ready to take me back to Remnant. So, don't worry, guys. Just hang in there a little longer. I'm coming home...and I'm bringing a few new friends I've made in the League over to help.

Oh, and to you, Neo, after that cheap shot you tried on my sister, I've got one thing to say to you.

Beware my power...Green Lantern's light!
