"Falynn!"
"Falynn!"
No matter how many times he called out to his wife she never stopped or even turned to glance. It was as if Kylo's voice could not reach her, and she was in some far distant land. Too far from him, and the Supreme Leader was beginning to feel desperate as he followed Falynn down the vast corridors. Several officials and Stormtroopers gazes followed them curiously as he stormed after his Empress, but the stares didn't touch him as his focus was solely on the woman who was walking farther away from him. Falynn's wall was completely down now whether she realized it or not. Kylo didn't think he had ever felt such pain leaking from his wife, to the point where his own insides her tightening from the raw ache that pooled from the edges of her mind. He even felt a powerful anger radiating from her. He feared if he did not grab onto her soon she would be completely lost into it. He did not want to see his wife following such a lonely dark path. He wouldn't even think of such a thing happening. He would not allow his wife to bear the grief that he had to bear all this time. The loneliness he has felt, he would not allow her to drown in it. Even if it meant he had to pin her down and drain any darkness that was lurking inside of her and drink it in himself.
"Falynn! FALYNN!" by this point Kylo's voice had become a frenzied shout, before he finally grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around.
Instead of her looking at him shocked by the sudden grip of his fingers, Falynn's usually bright sea colored eyes seemed void. The muted expression sent a dark rage thrumming loudly inside of him. This was all of Hux's fucking fault. Perhaps this wasn't his goal but Kylo felt that this reaction was even worse than getting a rise out of his wife. He would much rather see her his usual flame of an Empress kicking and screaming, spitting out harsh words like acid than this. This was so much more unbearable to see. Nothing was in those beautiful eyes, no sadness, anger, even though he felt all of those things radiating off of her. It was as if her mind was just a remnant of what was left of her. She was crumbling right before him. Hux hit the weak point, whatever happened on Tatooine, he found enough where he knew now how to break her. The worst part of it all, was Kylo didn't even feel like Hux was doing it to come after him anymore. It was all directed toward Falynn leaving her more vulnerable than Kylo would like to admit. The thought of it made him shudder, as he cursed the decision to send Hux away. Perhaps he should have just flown that fucking bastard to the inner rim instead.
"Falynn," this time he spoke her name in barely more than a whisper. "You're okay. You're okay. You're okay."
As Kylo pressed his forehead against hers and kept repeating the words he himself knew that was far from the truth. As short and simple the interaction was today with Darred, it resurfaced a darkness in Falynn that she had probably been trying to repress. He saw the way Darred looked at her, or didn't, as if she wasn't there. He treated his own daughter as if she was a mere insignificant tool.
She felt cold against his skin, as if the lifelessness in her body was taking over the rest of her. The memory of her body lifeless and on the ground on Dantooine wrung back in his mind. He believed the wounds she was facing now were much more severe than the cuts that had previously been on her back or the poison that had been in her blood. He needed to move much faster than he had to even move then. Kylo did not hesitate in lifting his wife into his arms and making his way down the corridor silencing anyone they passed with a shattering dark look. Falynn laid against him, body frozen and stiff, as Kylo made his way as quickly as he could towards their chamber. He craved a bond between their minds where he could send soothing wave lengths to her, but he wasn't sure that would even help his wife.
"Falynn, you are not alone anymore," he whispered down towards her. "You are not alone. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine."
Kylo repeated the words in a hushed prayer to her, hoping the force heard them as he held onto her tightly.
Reaching the door to their chamber Kylo had to control his hand that was now shaking as he punched in the code before rushing in, and laying Falynn on the bed. Falynn's eyes moved toward their port window, distant, and still empty. Even when Kylo leaned his broad body over his wife, she still did not turn to look up at him. The expression seemed as if she were pulling herself out of the port window and into that vast darkness.
"Falynn," he was not sure how many times he had said her name now. He would say it a thousand more times until it reached her."Falynn! Please look at me." With still no response Kylo's voice cracked as he repeated. "Falynn, look at me!"
"I can't," she finally answered.
Both her voice and response took him by his surprise, Kylo's brows knitted together as he leaned forward. "Don't say something like that. Falynn, let me in."
"He follows you," was all she said.
A tightness wrapped around Kylo's heart.
Was this why she was upset? Did Darred's small reunion with her bring not just bitter memories, but reminded her what Kylo had possibly taken from her. Was she not just angry with her father, but also with him.
"Do you hate me for that?" Kylo leaned back. "Do you resent me for your father selling you to me?"
He wanted to apologize, he wanted to tell her that if he could take it back he would. He knew though, if he had said that it would have been a lie and she would have known that too. Kylo did not regret Falynn coming into his life. If he had to, he would have made that choice again, but he did not want her to hate him for it. If he had to, he would just prove to her, that this was not a freedom lost, but a freedom gained. He was about to elaborate on the explanation waiting for her to tell him that she did indeed hate him, but she spoke before he could.
"I don't hate you," she replied.
Relief rushed over him until she continued. "I hate my father. I hate that he has lied to me for years making me believe he loved me and my mother. I hate that as a child I had hopes of growing closer to him believing my future was happy. I grew up in a privileged home. My father used to bring home beautiful jewelry for my mother, and pretty dresses and toys for me. Any young girl would be happy to have received such gifts. I was blindly spoiled." Falynn shook her head. "My parents used to laugh and gloat over those they believed below us. Instead they should have gloated over my family. My father did not bring me home those trinkets out of love, or to even spoil me. He brought them home to me out of mere obligation as a father, to cover the fact he was gone and doing terrible things." A silent tear slid down Falynn's cheek. "I believe the children who were really spoiled were the ones who had been told the truth. Where there were no secrets in their family. The families who were poor perhaps in credits but wealthy in the love of their homes." Turning towards her husband Falynn softly said. "I only wish for my father would give me the attention he has given to you and the First Order. To think at some point," another tear fell. "That he truly did think of me as his child and not some obligation or tool to gain him even more of that wealth that gave him that fucking glory."
Kylo's own memories of his youth surfaced.
His mother's absence along with fathers due to his duty, leaving him with caretakers, then shipping him off to his Uncle. A boy torn between the light and dark, led by a powerful Jedi along with a Sith. Never knowing who was really on his side. Believing he could trust his own Uncle until he saw that buzzing light over his head while he laid sleeping. That trust he had with his family broke so long ago, that Kylo was sending down a fleet that he knew very well could end the life of his own mother. It was strange that the one who would do the act was no other than Falynn's father. He once told Rey to let the past die, to let it go so she could be with him. As much as he meant those words to Rey, he could not speak the same to Falynn, because he knew her. Falynn would never be able to forget being misled and torn, for Kylo had been the same. He also knew that was not what she needed. What she needed was to have a future to look forward with, knowing whoever it was with would be honest with her. She did not need Kylo to be light or dark. She was not asking him to be a Jedi or a Sith Lord. What Falynn needed, was someone to give them their honest feelings, and to not hide behind a mask. He regretted wearing one in front of her so long. That was something he would apologize for if she ever needed it.
Taking Falynn's face gently with his hands Kylo leaned down and pressed his forehead against hers, while wiping her fallen tears with his thumbs. He was silent as he allowed her tears to freely flow. He allowed that silence to linger in between them, until color finally returned to Falynn's cheeks, and a bit of life came back to her eyes. As shattered as she looked, she looked alive again and Kylo buried his face in her shoulder in relief before running his fingers through her copper hair.
"I am your family now," he spoke into her. "You do not need them anymore, Falynn. All you need...all you need is me."
"And what if something were to happen to you," Falynn's voice shook. "Do not make such declaration's, Kylo, not when...not when…not when-"
Kylo did not let her finish as he pressed his lips firmly against hers. And as if he could push all negative thoughts out of her mind Kylo pulled her up against him as he took his time tasting her. Falynn was quick to reciprocate the motion by arching her body up into his and opening her mouth wider for him.
With a soft moan Kylo took the initiative, as he swiftly pulled away each article of clothing, until she laid bare beneath him. Any muted emotion that had left Falynn was now gone, and nothing but a hunger filled those bright eyes of her. The heated expression awoke a power inside of Kylo much more powerful than he thought the force could ever bring him. He wanted her so bad, so bad that he felt like he would rupture at any given moment, if he didn't taste her. Keeping his dark eyes on face, Kylo watched in satisfaction as Falynn's mouth parted as he began to trail kisses down her collar bone, breast, stomach, then to her thighs. He allowed himself to linger there for a moment as the hotness of his breath trailed its way between her legs. Kylo let out a snicker as he watched her hips rising off of their bed.
"Anxious are we?" he muttered as he moved closer to her heat.
"I wouldn't say that?" Falynn lips twitched into a half smile. "Do I need to close my legs, Supreme Leader, if you are going to tease me?"
Smiling at her teasing her words, the Falynn he knew returning Kylo gripped onto her legs. "Don't you dare," he growled before taking her in.
A sharp gasp escaped Falynn as Kylo flicked his tongue out hitting her most sensitive area. He took his time making his wife writhe in pleasure as he painted patterns inside of her. By the force, she was the sweetest thing he had ever tasted. It amazed him how every part of Falynn's body tasted better and better. Kylo would drown himself in her flavors if he could.
Feeling Falynn pulse against his lips Kylo moaned grabbing onto her backside and pulled her closer to him quickening the pace of his lips and tongue. Falynn's hips bucked as she allowed herself to spill her warmth into him. Sitting back on his knees only when she finished, Kylo smiled down at his wife who was staring up at him, eyes now half closed from pleasured exhaustion. He was far from being down with his Empress.
Pushing himself off of her, Kylo turned and got off of the bed. Falynn sat up looking hurt, for only a moment as she watched Kylo beginning to undress. Kylo allowed Falynn to take her time drinking in his naked form as he stood at the end of the bed. He never thought that anyone would look at him the way Falynn was looking at him now. As if in that moment she didn't need anything or anyone, just her husband.
He needed perhaps more than she needed him.
Kylo made his way forward placing a knee on the bed, ready to move over his wife once again. Falynn did not allow him though as she scooted her body on the edge of their bed and sat herself in front of him. When Kylo tried to bend down to her she gently stopped him with a hand on his bare chest. The touch of her fingers on his bare skin sent a wave of warmth throughout him and Kylo edged himself closer to her. Without a word Falynn took his length in her hand, and while keeping her eyes on him began to stroke him not just with her hand but her tongue. Slamming his hand on the post to their bed, Kylo's fingers dug in the hard surface as he tilted his head back with a groan. Falynn was not shy in her pleasuring tactics, and Kylo was losing control of his thoughts. Looking back down a growl escaped his lips to see that Falynn's gaze was still on his face. She kept them there which caused the fire to quickly shoot inside of him. When he couldn't take much more the Supreme Leader pushed his Empress back.
"Prepare yourself, Falynn," he huskily sneered. "I don't think I will be able to be as gentle as I was the last time."
Pushing apart her legs and hosting them around his hips Kylo took the plunge joining the two of them together. Falynn's hips automatically jerked from the push but Kylo kept a tight grip on her as he moved his own hips where he could move his way inside. Falynn's mouth parted wide with a loud moan as she allowed Kylo to take over the both of them. Kylo kept the pace of his hips and thrust quick as he savored the heat he felt inside of her. He loved it, he couldn't get enough of feeling her insides wrapped him. Feeling her pulse onto him allowed him to know she was alive, and the cold he had felt there before was now long gone. She was with him, she was alive and they were connected.
Kylo's thrust became more aggressive and deep everytime Falynn repeatedly called out his name until he felt them both shuddering from the raptured pleasure.
Bending down Kylo took her lips roughly in his as he lifted her and pinned her to the wall where Falynn was able to wrap her legs and arm around his muscled back and hips.
Repeatedly calling each other's names, and moaning into each other's lips Kylo kept the fast past, to which Falynn followed until he felt they were both at their climax. Kylo did not stop as the two of them rubbed their heat together, he did not stop as he felt Falynn's heat breaking through. Kylo cried out her name as he felt himself shuddering and releasing inside of her, then all at once something slammed inside of Kylo's mind.
Something new but familiar, a tang of power he had not felt yet, as his own mind weaved around it.
Falynn was shaking in his arms and he did not think she even realized what she just had just done. What bond she had just sent down to him.
Wide eyed Kylo slowly lowered Falynn down to her feet.
"Falynn," he breathed. "Are you carrying the force?"
