Kitsune's mask is completely destroyed and breathing heavily. Some of her clothes covered her private parts and covered bruises all over the body. Lust smirked darkly and gripping her face tightly.
"Is the great almighty Alayna finally lost her touch?" Taunting the blonde girl and she simply glared.
"If there is one thing I knew about Fairy Tail... we always protect our nakama (comrade)." Discreetly glancing behind Lust to see Aqualad and Saber are approaching them. "I'm not strong because of my magic but it's because my loved ones are here in my heart who gives me strength! Mizu inazuma doragon: Mahi! (Water-lightning Dragon: Paralysis!)" Engulfing water and lightning to strike Lust's powerful spells to knock her out completely.
"Kitsune!" Aqualad yelled and hugging Kitsune tightly. "I'm sorry for being delayed."
"Hey..." Kitsune grabs his head with a tired smile. "Don't beat yourself up. You and the others are here, that's all that matters."
Saber simply smiles before clearing his throat. "Um... sorry to ruin your moment but we have a League to save."
"You're right." She whimpered and leaning Aqualad. "Sorry... Lust drained of my magic and I can barely move. I used the last spell to knock her out completely."
"Here." Saber approached the blonde girl and placing his hands on her head. "Leah dan erotser cigam." He heals her completely except for her clothes.
"Kitsune!" They turned around to see Celestial and Angel are approaching them.
"Guys..." She yelped as the two girls hugging her. "We can't waste anymore time."
"Here." Celestial handed Kitsune new clothes than her actual hero outfit. "It's from the spirit world and they don't have your masks, sorry."
"It was fun wearing a mask while it lasted." Kitsune commented and holding it. "It's bound to happen that they can see my face." She looks down at unconscious Lust. "We should tie her up and Celestial about David... no, Draco, is waiting for your final showdown."
"I know..." Celestial grips her hand hard. "I'm always a coward and terrified of using this magic because my lifespan is going to be short."
"Celestial..." Saber muttered with a worried look on his face.
"Now, I have to face him and stop." Celestial declared and facing them. "He massacred the entire clan for his own selfish desires. Now he's coming for me because I'm the last one vessel. I won't let that happen."
Robin and Superboy grunted in pain as they're being trapped by the crystal magic. "I'll ask you again, one last time... where's the fake Mendez?" Draco asks coldly.
"Like... we would ever tell you!" Robin grunted as the crystal starting to go up on his neck.
"She owes something from me and I'm planning to take it." He creates a crystal sword. "I might as well take a drastic measure by killing you-"
"Kurisutarumeiku: Dōmu! (Crystal make: Dome)" Celestial appeared between them to stop Draco from slicing Robin.
"Celestial!" Robin and Superboy cried out in surprise to see her.
"Ikari no honō! (Flame of fury!)" Xi Men appeared in front of Draco and slams his fists on the stomach.
Celestial immediately melt the crystal on Robin and Superboy. Her fringe covered her eyes with the masks. "You murdered the entire clan for your own selfish desires to become a powerful mage? Don't make me laugh." She muttered coldly as Xi Men stood in front of the two boys to protect them.
It terrifies Robin and Superboy to see Celestial unusual cold and dark look when it comes to fighting when she's usually a shy, timid and serious person.
Draco wipes the blood of his mouth and grinned darkly. "What if I am? You killed one too!"
"You're wrong!" Celestial yelled and her eyes glowed in magenta. "Lola passed her magic to me so I can live! Despite my protests to die in peace." She raises her hands up as the magic circle appeared. "I'll use this magic to protect people I care! Kurisutarumeiku: Hyōnoarashi! (Crystal make: Hailstorm!)"
Draco dodges the hailstorm and creates a small shield to protect himself whereas the two boys are looking at her worriedly. "Is her lifespan going to decrease if she casts it?" Superboy asks worriedly.
Xi Men shook his head. "If non-member of Mendez clan is challenging them, his or her's lifespan won't decrease. Since Lady Celestial is fighting against the murderer of the Mendez clan, the gate of hell is going to open the moment he lost."
"What will happen to-"
"Celestial will win." Robin cuts him off and he knows Celestial is going to put an end to Draco's life. "We know she's always a shy and timid girl, but Celestial is our strong mage. Besides, she never committed a crime to kill her mother figure but it passed onto her."
Celestial backflips and swinging her legs to kick Draco's face. He flies off towards the wall to create a huge dent. The blond boy with red eyes is shivering in anger and dashed off. "You're dead! Kurisutarumeiku: Rengoku no ken! (Crystal make: Purgatory sword!)" He creates a huge sword to swing at her.
"Sutādoresu: Sun Ce Fōmu (Star dress: Sun Ce form!)" Her clothes changed into a female version of Sun Ce's clothes with monkey ears and tails appeared. She dodges the attack and combining physical and crystal magic. "Yunizonreido: Kurisutarufisuto! (Unison raid: Crystal fists!)" Bends down and punches his stomach.
He flies off to the sky and Celestial appeared behind him. "This for the entire clan you killed them! Yunizonreido: Ikari no kurisutaru ikari! (Unison raid: Crystal rage of fury!)" Magenta mixes with bronze light coming from her fists to finish him off.
Draco slams down on the ground to create a huge dent. Celestial lands down softly and holding her tears. "I can't believe you murdered your own family because of your selfish desires."
Draco laughs weakly and struggling to stands up while patting heavily by the damage. "The crystal... is one of the powerful magic. Once I gathered everything... I can unlock and corrupted it so no... one could stop me!" He laughs madly and Celestial gritted her teeth.
"It's over and I win." She declared and ignoring his glares. "As the crystal wielder! Your crystal magic shall strip and must punish for breaking the rules of the Mendoza clan!"
Draco laughs and holding his stomach. "There's no way my magic is going to strip from the likes of you! You don't even know how to summon the gate!" He's about to dash off towards Celestial, someone paralyzes him.
"Now, Celestial!" Oichi appeared in front of Draco and immobilizes him as he makes a huge mistake for looking at her eyes. "You're wrong, she can do it!"
Celestial puts her right palm in front and closes her eyes. "Kurisutarumeiku no himitsu no tekunikku: Jigoku no nanatsu no mon! (Crystal make secret technique: Seven gates of hell!)" A huge gate appeared behind Draco and Oichi immediately stands in front of Celestial.
He yells in fear to see the seven devils the moment the gate opened. "No! This cannot be happening!" A magenta light appeared on his body to release all his magic he stoles from the crystal users. "Gah! If I can't have it, no one can!" He uses his last piece of magic to push Oichi away and dragging Celestial with her.
"Ah!" Celestial is struggling to remove herself from his grasps and didn't want to join him in hell. "Help me!"
"Celestial!"
"Hold on!"
One of her spirit keys glowed to reveal Lu Bu and Xi Men. Xi Men cuts the chains off Celestial's body whereas Lu Bu slams Draco hard to push him into the gates of hell completely. The moment the gates closed, the scarlet-haired girl gulps and hugging Xi Men tight.
"You're safe and no one is going to steal your crystal magic." Xi Men vowed and comforting his mistress gently in a soothing tone. "There, there."
"Celestial!" Robin cried out his name and hugging Celestial tight after Xi Men releases her. "You scared the hell out of me, my gem."
"Sorry." Celestial sniffs and gulps. "I-I-I-I'm free, Robin-kun." Returning the gesture and Superboy approached them.
"Remind me not to get on your bad side, Celestial?" Superboy patted her head with a relief look. "It's like someone possessed you."
"Sorry."
Savage isn't completely pleased to see his plan to control the entire heroes are failed. Switching the screen off and looking at Klarion. "Time to go." He informed the Lord of Chaos. "Take Lust with us and we need here.
Klarion snaps his fingers as Lust appeared out of nowhere in her unconscious form. "Come on, we can take them." He didn't want to retreat and planning to kidnap the Celestial wizard.
"Yes, but in the process you'd lose control, perhaps even destroy this station. And whether or not they're in our thrall, the Light still needs the Justice League alive... for Phase two." He walked slowly and carried Lust in his arms. "They have the mages to defeat us. We still need to find out a way to kill them."
"I wouldn't lose control." Klarion assured him but his Familiar meows in disagreement. "Okay, yeah, I bring the chaos but the little red! I wanted her and the spirits!"
"You will soon." He vowed to kidnap the scarlet-haired girl with her spirits.
Klarion opened the portal for them to escape before Angel and Kid Flash knock them out. The half-Exceed clicks her tongue and they manage to escape out from their grasps.
"Darn it!" Angel whispered angrily and huffs.
Kitsune patted her shoulder before following Aqualad to kneel down in front of Red Tornado. "Congratulations, Team. You have won the day." The red android congratulates them for bringing the League back.
Miss Martian, Superboy, Celestial and Rocket joined the others. Kitsune smiles at them gently. "I never doubt in a second you guys would come and save us." She spoke softly. "Thank you."
"I would never regret to see the day my sister complimented us." Saber commented with a cheeky smile.
Kitsune rolls her eyes and knocks his forehead gently. "I'm not actually that heartless."
"Sometimes." Kid Flash answered bluntly and Kitsune simply smiled.
"Happy New Year, Justice League. Happy Birthday, Celestial." The AI announced and Celestial widened her eyes in shock.
"Happy Birthday, Celestial!" The whole Team and Red Tornado greeted their youngest hero on her day with a smile on their faces.
"Everyone..." Celestial cried in tears of joy and smiled happily. "Thank you!"
"Hey, Celestial..." Robin called his girlfriend and she squeals in surprise by pulling her. "Happy birthday, sweetheart." He kissed her on the lips.
Saber coughs uncomfortably to see Celestial and Robin are kissing in front of him. They're not the only pair who'd done it but also Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis and Kid Flash. "Couples..." He muttered with a soft smile.
"Arthur..." Zatanna gulps nervously and Saber faced her with a curious look. "I'm sorry for everything. When I knocked Doctor Fate down- I actually thought pulling the helmet out would bring your brother back."
"All is forgiven, Z." Saber assured Zatanna and caressing her cheek. "My brother already made that decision before grandpa passed away from the very beginning. I know that someday, we can see him again. No matter how long it takes."
"Thank you..." Zatanna cried in relief and surprising Saber with a kiss.
Saber returned the kiss and pulling her close whereas Kitsune can feel Aqualad's staring at her. The blonde girl turned around to face him with a soft smile.
"I always ignore my feelings for you, Aqualad..." Kitsune exhales nervously. "It goes deeper whenever I'm with you... I wanted to say... I love you!" Blurted out loudly and blushing furiously while closing her eyes.
Aqualad stood there in shock and smiling softly. "I love you too, Aaliyah." He pulls Kitsune and kissing her on the lips.
Rocket smiles happily at them before looking at Angel who wears a disgusted look. "Liking this Team more everyday." She commented and kissing Angel on her cheek.
"Ew!" Angel cringed in disgusts and wiping her cheeks furiously. "I'll stay single forever! I don't want to be a lovely dovey couple."
"Careful what you say, Angel." Rocket teased her with a smirk. "You might get yourself a boy someday."
"Hmph!" She turns her head away while Rocket laughs.
"Human customs still elude me." Red Tornado commented.
Kitsune, Angel, Saber and Celestial are watching the galaxy together. Some of them are having a private meeting regarding Red Arrow's situation. Kitsune crossing her arms before looking at Saber.
"Savage said something about they need them for the Phase two, Saber." She whispered low enough for them to hear it.
Saber blinks his eyes and looking at her. "I wonder why they need them."
"I don't know and they even want Celestial and her spirits as well." She explained in a grim tone. "Somehow... this is just the beginning for them."
"I may understand why they need the League because they're the huge threat of them." Angel pointed out before crossing her arms. "What I don't understand is why they need her and the spirits."
Celestial bites her lower lips before looking at them. "When a wizard gathered all 12 Chinese Zodiac spirits, he or she can access the hidden powers from them."
"Like the star dress form for instance?" Saber asked curiously and the scarlet-haired girl nodded her head.
"Yes and even the spirits won't tell me because I should be the one to uncover them." She answered and holding her keys tight. "I won't let anyone have it... I'll protect them with my life like how they protect me."
Saber smiles at her determination and looking at them. "That's the spirit, Celestial. You have us to back you up."
They smiled at each other and gazing at the stars. The mages know it's just the beginning before their real mission here on Earth is about to begin.
