Orochimaru Appears
Back at the maze, Naru was still trying to find Kyuubi. He kept on going to certain passages and once he passed them, the entrances kept being blocked.
Naru: Oh! Kyuu? Here, Boy.
He saw one of the passages glowing and heard Kyuubi's yips coming from that way. He ran that way when the entrance was then blocked. He turned when the vines had blocked it and then he heard Kyuubi yipping very close to him. When he turned, he saw Kyuubi sitting next to him and he picked him up.
Naru: Aah. Oh, there you are.
Once he picked him up, he heard a creepy voice echoing all over the place.
Voice: Naruto. Naruto.
He got up and ran towards the exit when vines started coming out and the voice kept on echoing. They made it to the exit when Naru tripped and fell face first on the ground. It turned out that they were on a huge bridge when Naru got up. Once he did, he heard the voice close by and turned to see where he heard it while Kyuubi was growling.
Voice: Naruto.
He turned to the left when he saw an old man with long, black hair and yellow, snake-like eyes. He instantly recognized him and he started talking.
Orochimaru: Your Imperial Highness. Look at what ten years have done to us. You are a beautiful young flower. And me? A rotting corpse.
Naru: That face.
Orochimaru: Last seen at a party like this one…
Naru: A curse.
Orochimaru: Followed by a tragic night on the ice. Remember?
He then used the reliquary to make some snow and ice which made Naru scream and cover his face. When it finally stopped, Naru uncovered his face and said Orochimaru's name angrily which made Orochimaru mockingly copy him.
Naru: Ooh! Orochimaru!
Orochimaru: Orochimaru! Ooh-whoo-whoo.
He then turned serious and made the creatures circle around Naru while tearing bits and pieces of his kimono off.
Orochimaru: Destroyed by your... despicable family! But what goes around, comes around… Around, around and around and around.
Kakashi is sitting on top of one of the beams on the bridge while looking away.
Kakashi: Oh, oh. You're on your own, Sir. This could only end in tears. Ohh.
Naru finally had enough and began screaming at Orochimaru.
Naru: Aah! I am not afraid of you!
Orochimaru: I can fix that. Care for a little swim under the ice?!
He broke a huge chunk of the bridge where Naru was on and was hanging over the river. That made Naru hang on and tried to find a way to get up when Orochimaru was about to finish him off.
Orochimaru: Say your prayers, Naruto! No one can save you!
After he said that, Sasuke came out of nowhere and punched him in the face.
Sasuke: Wanna bet?
After he punched him, it made Orochimaru fall on his stomach and made the reliquary shoot at the chunk again. It made it fall a bit more and Sasuke jumped and slid down to grab both of Naru's hands. He then attempted to pull Naru up.
Naru: Aah! Aah! Sasuke! If we live through this, remind me to thank you.
Sasuke: You can thank me later.
Orochimaru got up and was seeing Sasuke trying to pull Naru up.
Orochimaru: How enchanting. Together again. For the last time!
He used his reliquary to carry Sasuke into the air and made him fall on a Pegasus statue.
Orochimaru: You should get a kick out of this.
The Pegasus then came to life and started flying around while trying to buck Sasuke off. Naru was almost to the top when he saw the whole thing.
Naru: No!
The Pegasus statue landed harshly on the ground which made Sasuke fall off and landed harshly. He got up and held up a pipe to keep the statue at bay. Naru was calling out his name when Orochimaru ran towards him and held him by his hair.
Naru: Sasuke!
Sasuke: Watch out!
Orochimaru: Do svidaniya… Your Highness.
He then let go which made Naru fall until he grabbed the edge of the chunk preventing his fall.
To those of you who don't know a Pegasus is, well, it's a horse with bird-like wings on its back. Just thought I let all of you know just in case if any of you didn't know it. Thanks to all of you who have read and reviewed and I'll try to finish this story as soon as I can.
