Chapter 34
At the ICW headquarters, Captain Stevenson was in his office with eight of his men waiting for the parseltongue that was supposed to arrive. All the while listening to Hadrian's battle with Voldemort's teenage self when he heard that merlin forsaken name, his blood ran cold. Voldemort had been the one who had been attacking the students at Hogwarts through a little girl. Apparently, that diary of his was a Horcrux. That was something that he had never heard of before. Putting that thought out of his mind, he listened carefully to the monologuing of that murderous origin. It would appear that Dumbledore had been wary of him from the start and had suspected something was up about him from the start. It also got his attention when he admitted to framing Rubeus Hagrid for killing that Warren girl.
When he heard spells were being fired, Jack immediately knew that a battle had begun and desperately wished that Hadrian would prevail. The battle seemed to have been heating up from the sound it was making, which only made him even more nervous for the boy. He only wished Hadrian had contacted him sooner or at least told a member of the ICW that it was a basilisk who was petrifying people. Jack was aware that Hadrian did not put too much faith in the ministry after what they tried to do and was even less likely to accept Albus's help, not that he blamed him for that. However, there was a high chance of the boy being killed despite his animosity with Dumbledore and many of his followers. If he had it his way at the moment, then Hadrian would never have left Japan, and this mess could have been avoided.
Jack groaned in annoyance, "dammit, we should have left by now! What is taking that parselmouth so long?" He then felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning to his left, he saw that Lieutenant Burnett was giving him a reassuring smile "she will be here soon. Relations with Magical India are tense at the moment, especially after what happened at the ministry," she said calmly.
Jack deflated a bit. "I know, but Hadrian is facing one of the worst darkest wizards of all time. Not to mention he could probably end up getting killed!"
"You must believe that he will survive," she said to him. Jack just turned his head. "Jack, look at me" her old friend looked back at her. "Hadrian is a gifted child and has been trained exceptionally well not only by Mahoutokoro but by the Blacks. If there is even a slim chance for him to live, then he will. So, have faith that he will win!"
He took her words to heart and decided to trust Hadrian. "Thank you, Shelby," he said to her, then looked at his watch. "Hadrian, you can do this! Just hang in there long enough for us to get there," he encouragingly said to the boy over the communicator.

Hadrian and Voldemort were still locked in a ferocious battle; both were still channeling magic into their two spells, trying to outdo one another. The more power they put into, the more the ground started to shake, and the winds were becoming more intense, and the lightning strikes were becoming more intense. Harry was beginning to falter a bit, but he remembered that he was fighting a fragment of the monster that nearly destroyed his family and killed countless innocents. He narrowed his eyes at the monster with an intense effort while allowing his eyes to glow bright green.
Carefully he started walking forward, pushing more magic into his attack. The fire in his eyes was steadily growing as he moved forward, and he let out a war cry that only seemed to intensify with the magic being dispersed. The expression on his face changed to that of a warrior, who looked like he was fighting in a war.
Voldemort was watching as Potter began walking forward and started channeling more magic into his attack. He had no idea that a mere twelve-year-old boy was capable of this level of power, and the look on his face was something that he had never seen before. Add that to the brat's war cry that only seemed to grow as he stepped forward. The boy was a freak of nature with the head-on strength would ever do something like this.
Eventually, the power struggle had become so unstable that it caused a big explosion that sent them both crashing into the walls behind them. Hadrian was thankful for the battle gear he was wearing, as the wall's impact would have caused him a lot more damage. Instead, his vision became blurry, and he had a few broken bones.
Shaking his head to clear his vision, he saw Voldemort getting back to his own feet, laughing maniacally. That laughter made a cold shiver fall down his spine.
"I would never have guessed that you were an elemental like myself," Voldemort said softly, "or that you would have lasted this long." He then looked to where Weasley was but widened his eyes when she saw the protective enchantments surrounding her "my, oh my. Those enchantments seem very powerful. I had to make an accurate guess you used talismans. Old! Advanced! But very powerful" he commented.
"Glad you're impressed," Harry drawled.
Showdown time
"Now, my dear Harry," Riddle cooed, "I believe we had enough of a warmup, and we can now take this to the next level." Voldemort then started chanting in ancient Welsh.
Harry, of course, didn't like where this was going as he knew what Voldemort was doing. He was summoning the magic from the terrain around him and absorbing it like a sponge "are you insane! You know what it will do to you," he shouted. Unfortunately, Voldemort had finished chanting and was now giving him a cruel smirk; Hadrian could feel the level of magic coming off him, and it was ten times more powerful than what it was before.
Hadrian took his wand and conjured dark clouds above their heads, waving his wand in an intricate pattern, turning them violent. The storm clouds had formed into a massive hurricane that Harry sent to Voldemort. He watched as Voldemort slashed his wand and vanished from the hurricane and retaliated with another fire comet enhanced with the earth's elemental power. The spell rocketed toward Harry, and he barely had time to get out of the way, luckily he did, and he retaliated with a pinwheel made of fire and enhanced it with the elements of earth and lightning.
Voldemort then came to the sudden realization as Potter attack came at him, conjuring a wall of water he mentally said 'Potter is an elemental that's interesting' he watched as their attacks collided into smoke and he transfigured it into a set of daggers and added the elemental power of fire.
The fiery-daggers raced toward Hadrian with incredible speed. Rather than using his wand, he threw out a talisman and had it project a powerful shield. Voldemort watched with annoyance as the daggers failed to hit the boy. He then decided to use parseltongue, elemental, and the magic he was absorbing from the space around him.
The battle, in Harry's opinion, went to hell pretty fast. Voldemort used elemental magic and parseltongue and the chamber's magical residue, making his attacks more dangerous than before. While he began using runic clusters, elemental, and his family magic together, the strain on his body was taking its toll. Voldemort's onslaught had put him on the defensive, his uniform was doing its best to protect him, but under this barrage, it was only minimizing a little bit of the damage he was taking.
Then he got an idea that it might be time to bust out more of the spells he had created. Pointing his wand at the ground and spun 360 degrees, conjuring a circle of fire that started rotating around him. Several of the fire whips shot straight up and formed a circle above him. Waving his wand around in a new intricate pattern. Voldemort didn't know what Potter was doing, but he didn't care as he kept on shooting spells at the boy. Only to be shocked as the whips blocked them. Not only that, but many of the fire whips also came at him.
Hadrian may not keep up with his opponent's power, but that didn't mean that he didn't have a few tricks up his sleeve. This spell was called Protego impetum. It was a spell he created that not only protected him but attacked his opponents as well. Translation: an offensive and defensive tactic.
Riddle had certainly underestimated the boy as he was jumping around trying to avoid the fiery whips coming his way. This was a spell that he was unfamiliar with, which started to get on his nerves. What's worse was that he couldn't retransfigure it.
Harry kept the spell up as best as he could, but then a dark purple spell got past his defenses and nailed him in the ribs, setting them ablaze that hurt like hell. Pushing through the pain, he gathered the fire together and sent it to Voldemort. After that, he flicked his wand back into its holster and rushed forward, transformed into his animagus form.
Voldemort once again conjured a wall of water to block the flames. When the flames were gone, he prepared to attack again, only to see a massive tiger coming his way. Taking a few steps back, he began shooting spells at it, but the tiger just dodged the incoming spells. The next thing he knew was that the tiger had transformed back into Potter, and before he could do anything, the brat nailed him in the face with a powerful punch. Seeing that his plan worked, Hadrian kept on striking many parts of Voldemort's body, each of his attacks was being reinforced with magic and enhanced by the flames covering his fist. The fragment of Voldemort did not know muggle combat as his abilities to defend himself were subpar at best.
His strikes making contact, he blocked an incoming punch and delivered a pressure point strike that made Riddle's arm go numb. When Riddle tried to use his other arm, Harry repeatedly struck it with the same precision that made it go numb, then kicked him in the left shin that took it out. With his opponent unable to defend himself grabbed his face in one hand and placed the other on his chest, and with a smirk, he summoned all the firepower he could and burned him in a blue fire that incinerated Voldemort to ashes leaving Weasley wand on the ground.
Hadrian dropped to one knee, panting heavily. Glancing at his watch, he saw that his magic level was in the red and that he could feel it along with the pain he was in. Rising to his feet, he walked to the Weasley girl. As he got closer, he saw that the enchantments from the talismans were wearing-off. Unbeknownst to him, Riddle started to rematerialize. Harry sensed something was wrong, and before he could turn around, he heard "crucio." The spell hit Harry, and he immediately felt pain in every part of his body; the pain was so unbearable, but he wouldn't give Voldemort the satisfaction of hearing him scream.
Harry was gritting his teeth and looked up at a now livid Voldemort, who lifted the curse. "You pathetic little brat! I must say that I am impressed you're an elemental and an animagus. It's almost a shame that I have to kill you" he then saw Harry attempting to get up and again shouted, "crucio!" This time Harry did scream as he couldn't help but feel that his body was experiencing a pain that he never thought was possible.
Voldemort then lifted the curse and shot some painful spells at Harry that destroyed many of his bones. "As much as I would love to kill you right now. I have a better idea" he then turned to the giant headstone of Salazar Slytherin and hissed, "Speak to me, Slytherin, greatest of the Hogwarts Four."
Slytherin's gigantic stone face started opening. Harry paled considerably as he had a feeling what was about to come out; reaching into his watch, he pulled out the glasses Miwa had told him about and put them on. As a bonus, he added a special array that would only ensure that he could be the one to take them off.
The head of the basilisk came out of the statue, and Voldemort hissed, "kill him" he pointed at Hadrian, who was terrified on the inside. Pulling his communicator up, he shouted, "are you guys coming or not? The basilisk is free!"
"What" Jack exclaimed.
Voldemort whirled around after what he heard. Looking at Potter, he saw that the boy was now wearing special glasses. Oh, he knew what they were "so, you managed to get your hands on glasses that can avert the eyes of a basilisk. It matters not. You will be dead soon enough. Let's match the power of Lord Voldemort, Heir to Salazar Slytherin against the famous Hadrian Potter."
Riddle was about to start laughing but froze when he heard some music. Riddle whirled around to stare down the empty Chamber. The music was growing louder. It was eerie, spine-tingling, unearthly; it lifted the hair on Harry's scalp and made his heart feel as though it was swelling to twice its normal size. Then, as the music reached such a pitch that Harry felt it vibrating inside his own ribs, flames erupted at the top of the nearest pillar. Fawkes had come and flown down near Hadrian, dropping something in his hands. Upon closer inspection, Hadrian saw that it was the sorting hat.
His attention drew back to the king of serpents who roared and was now out of the face. Throwing the hat on the floor, he pointed his wand at the pool the basilisk was in and made it rise, trapping it in a cube, then fired a blast of ice, trapping it.
"Clever, Potter! Very clever, indeed" Voldemort coldly laughed. "But this is no mere basilisk. This was Salazar Slytherin's true familiar, and I took precautions. Your little attack may have stopped it momentarily, but it will not till your dead."
"Well, I do you feel safe now?" he continued to laugh "the only thing Dumbledore sent you was a songbird and an old hat."
True to his words, the basilisk broke free of the ice. Seeing that the clouds he conjured earlier were still there, he waved his wand in a similar pattern like he did before and sent a powerful arc of lightning at the water the basilisk was still in. The blast impacted the water, and it seemed to weaken the basilisk severely. Water and lightning made a hazardous combination when they were added together. Feeling that he could use a quick recharge, he sent part of the lightning himself, which ended giving him all of his power back. That said, the pain in his body was still there as his body felt like it was made of jelly.
Voldemort watched with disgust as Potter suddenly got his power back and had to dodge a spell the boy fired at him. He would have retaliated, but the miserable brat threw four more of the damn talismans that made him back off.
With Voldemort's attention off him for the moment, Harry conjured three roosters and hit them with a sonorous charm. Evidently, the water and lightning combination didn't work, and it only served to infuriate the beast. When it neared, the roosters started crowing and, apparently working as their crow, significantly weakened the creature. However, it still was not enough as it still kept coming. Taking a few steps back, he a big fireball and added the earth element that made the creature hit Salazar's stone face.
Then Harry suddenly got an idea. This time he pointed his wand at the pool and raised the water again, but this time he converted the liquid into something else. When he was sure the basilisk was entirely covered in the converted liquid, he mentally said the last of his newly created spells,' ignis pignus,' the tip of his wand, let out a bit of fire that he pointed directly at the ground. The next moment, large fire columns erupted from the ground and made their way toward the basilisk. When the columns of fire got close enough formed a big circle around the beast and consumed it in flames making the beast screech from the scorching inferno.
Harry prayed that this was enough to bring the creature down. As the columns were coming down, they revealed a severely burnt basilisk that crashed on the floor. Harry breathed a sigh of relief as the creature was finally dead, but then the skin around the basilisk started healing, and the beast woke back up. "Are you shitting me!" he shouted in disbelief.
Now he was sure the creature was pissed as it roared even louder than it did before and raced toward him. 'Quick let me out' Byakko mentally screamed. Hadrian didn't argue and quickly lifted the top of his uniform and released Byakko. 'Take care of Voldemort! I'll handle this thing!'
'Good luck' he sent back and began firing spells dangerous spells at Voldemort, who was baffled at what he had just seen. He had all but forgotten about Potter's pet tiger and didn't see the spells coming toward him. The moment those spells made contact, they immediately sent him flying and made him scream in pain. Regaining himself, he began firing his own spells back at the impudent whelp.
While his partner was dueling a fragment of the monster that killed his parent Byakko and Fawkes were handling the basilisk. Byakko tried to reason with the creature, but the thing had lost all its senses and was on a rampage. Luckily, Fawkes could take out its eyes so that it couldn't kill with its gaze anymore. With a supreme effort, he broke the binds on him when he came to the mortal world and grew taller; letting out a fierce roar, he sent the basilisk flying toward the wall again. He would have continued, but he then heard his partner scream in pain. Turning his head, he saw the boy was on the defensive against Voldemort' young one, do you still have any talismans left?'
'Yeah, but their only protective enchantments, why?'
'It's time to use, emergency plan Zetta!'
'I thought you said it was a bad idea to use it' Harry mentally retorted as he kept attacking and defending against Voldemort onslaught. 'You said I wasn't ready for it yet' he exclaimed.
'I don't think you have a choice' mentally said.
Harry mentally groaned as what he was about to do was going to be very, extremely painful. Quickly weighing the pros and cons. He decided to go for it. 'Alright, let's do it!'
Before Byakko could instruct him on what to do, the boy was hit with the torture curse again. Roaring in anger, he raced toward the bastard and jumped high into the air, only to land on an unsuspecting Voldemort; grabbing his head in his powerful jaw, he violently shook him and threw him at one of the remaining snake statues. Upon impact, Riddle was buried on the stones. 'Hurry, young one. We must merge!'
Harry struggled to his feet and started synchronizing his magic with Byakko's. When the synchronization was complete Harry started chanting in the Sanskrit "भ्यक्को! ( Byakko! You who rules over the land of the magical world. I Hadrian James Potter do hereby submit myself to your authority and claim your power. I ask that you grant me the power to put an end to the man who nearly brought my family to extinction.)
The two were suddenly enveloped in a white light. The more Hadrian chanted the brighter the light.
(I am the one who shall rise! I am the one who had lost everything to the evil of this world. I envy the infinite and long for the dreams. I wish to become the one who rises above the evil that has plagued the magical world. Go heavenly overdrive!)
Just as Voldemort emerged from the blinding white light that engulfed Potter evaporated, and he saw that Potter was completely different now. His skin was glowing white, had several black tiger stripes around his body, including his face. And had a tiger-like ear. Not only was Potters appearance different his power had shot up tremendously. Not wanting to be outdone the brat, he immediately fired a pink spell at him that, much to his annoyance, didn't even make the boy writhe in pain. He was about to fire another spell but was hit by a powerful shockwave. The next thing he knew, the boy's attacks were pelting him.
Hadrian shot as many spells as he could at Voldemort and races towar'Young one, we can only stay like this for two minutes,' Byakko explained. 'Any longer than that, and you will not survive.'
'Then we better wrap this up, quickly!' Harry said.
Voldemort could not stand a chance as the boy spells were much more powerful than before, and the more they made contact, the more pain they caused him. What happened next was shocking as the boy started pummeling. That was until Potter grabbed his wand arm and ripped it off his body. He didn't even have a chance to scream as the boy immediately ripped his head off. Hadrian used his newfound strength to lift what remained of Voldemort's body to the other end of the room.
Raising his hands, he shot a powerful blast of blue fire that incinerated the remainder of the bastard's body.
'Partner, we only have thirty seconds left,' Byakko exclaimed. 'You need to sever the magic Voldemort is feeding on.'
Doing what Byakko said. Harry crashed his hands into the ground and sent a burst of magic throughout the entire chamber that stopped the magic transfer to Voldemort. Looking forward, he saw that Voldemort was rematerializing; thinking fast, he took his wand out and erected a powerful barrier around him, imprisoning him inside. At that moment, Byakko mentally said 'times up' the two split, and Harry crumpled to the ground, completely drained.
Struggling to raise his head, he saw Voldemort desperately trying to escape the confines of the barrier around him. His entire body felt like it was on fire and not in a good way. Pointing his wand back at the stormy clouds, he summoned a small burst of lightning from it and aimed it at him. That managed to give him a small burst of power. He may be a lightning elemental, but there was a limit to how much he could recharge his magic. Getting to his feet, he waved his wand over his body and applied the numbing charm. He then turned around and rushed to where he first threw the monster under the rubble pile. He found Weasley's wand and snapped it in two.
Now Voldemort couldn't throw anymore spell at him. He would have celebrated, but he was too weak to move out of the way of the basilisk tail as it knocked him against the wall that made him cry out in pain. The creature may be blind, but with it thrashing the way it was, it was getting impossible to dodge add that to his broken body. The basilisk had eaten the roosters, so they were now unable to weaken the thing anymore.
Once more, Byakko sent the creature flying with a powerful roar and picked the sorting hat up in his mouth and raced toward Hadrian. 'Harry listens to me carefully; you need to stick your hand inside this hat. There is something in here that will end all of this. He dropped the hat in front of him. Not wasting time, he stuck his arm inside the hat and grabbed something made of metal; yanking it out, he saw that he was holding a silver, ruby-encrusted broadsword.
He had no idea what he was supposed to do with a broad sword, but he then saw a name on the blade: Godric Gryffindor.
The memories come!
The next thing he knew, images were appearing in his head. Images that weren't even his. It felt as if he was being pulled into the past. Looking around, he was no longer in the chamber of secrets; instead, he was in ancient times and being pulled inside of a castle. There he saw an elderly King Arthur and Merlin himself and his twelve knights, who were all seated and having a meeting. According to the king's advisor, Merlin explained that chaos and destruction would engulf the world in the future unless the only hope they would have would be a person who would save the planet from destruction.
Merlin elaborated that the four gods of the earth would choose this person and become the protector of magic. He explained that the Mother of Magic would be there for the chosen when they would need her the most.
Arthur stood up from his chair and spoke about how he could feel, his life dimming, and proclaimed that he could no longer protect the citizen. The knights protested that no one would lead them once he was gone. Arthur silenced them and took out his sword: Excalibur. The sword that he used to protect his citizens. The sword that he used to conquer his enemies. The sword that he used to unite the magical world. He spoke in old welsh and sealed off the blade's power and transformed it into the blade named Sword of Godric Gryffindor.
When he was done, he handed it to one of his knights and told him to pass it down to someone worthy. The knight gratefully accepted the task and promised that he and his kin would bestow the blade to someone worthy of its magnificence.
Harry barely had enough time to look around to see the other knights until his eyes fell on one of them that looked oddly familiar to him. That was until he remembered his family history and realized that the man was one of his ancestors. His armor was different from the rest, and the crest he was wearing was that of the ancient guards. He deduced that he must have been the head of the order of knight.
That was all Hadrian got as he was pulled out and then saw another rush of memories. They went by so fast, but Hadrian was able to see that the sword had been heavily reinforced by the goblins using their unique metal. Then it was presented to Godric Gryffindor himself. He didn't get any further as Harry was thrown out of the memory.
The memories have ended!
The next thing he knew, he was back in the chamber, where Fawkes was dealing with the basilisk. "Yes, I remember," he muttered. Harry then looked at the sorting hat.
"I understand the basilisk was never meant to cause destruction. Salazar only placed it here to protect the magical children from the muggles who would have killed them."
"Well, it's about time someone understood the truth about Salazar," the hat said. "You know what to do. Now end this madness before anyone else loses their life like before."
With determination in his eyes, he looked at the sword and raised it in the air. He then began chanting in old welsh.
"Sword! Cleddyf sanctaidd a ddefnyddiwyd I uno'r byd hudolus." (Sword! Holy sword that was used to unite the magical world.)
"Chi sydd wedi cael ei basio drwy'r mileniwm. Mae I Hadrian Potter yn ddisgynnydd uniongyrchol I ddau o'r cywyddau a wasanaethodd y Brenin Arthur." (You who have been passed through millennia. I Hadrian Potter is a direct descendant of two of the knights who served King Arthur.)
"Mae tywyllwch y byd hudol wedi codi ac wedi dinistrio llawer o fywydau diniwed. Neilltuwch y biniau arnoch chi'ch hun fel y gallwn ddangos dyfodol mwy disglair. Deffrowch eich gwir ffurf wrth I mi alw eich enw:" (The darkness of the magical world has risen and has destroyed many innocent lives. Set aside the bindings on yourself so that we may show a brighter future. Awaken your true form as I call your name:)
"Excalibur!" (Excaliber!)
The ruby-encrusted sword started changing, the first being the ruby as it started glowing and the blade started cracking. It wasn't until then that the blade took on a new form. The blade itself grew about two inches and had ancient inscriptions on it, the guards became gold, and the handle became a bit longer, and at the end, the pommel had a symbol on it. Harry recognized it as the symbol as it was then as the crest all the knights were wearing.
He then got an idea and turned his attention back to Fawkes while dealing with the basilisk. "Fawkes," Harry shouted, getting the bird's attention, "lure it over here."
The phoenix looked from the basilisk to him and led the insane creature to the boy.
Hadrian raced toward the incoming basilisk; the numbing charm he put on his body was slowly wearing off, but it didn't matter as he only had one thing on his mind saving Weasley and ending things here and now. Just as the basilisk was about to descend its head upon him, he thrust the sword into the creature's mouth, where it pierced through its brain. Unfortunately, one of its fangs pierced through Harry's uniform and entered his arm, causing him great pain. With a supreme effort, he yanked the sword out and pulled the tooth lodged in his arm out.
The basilisk started screeching in pain until it had collapsed on the ground.
Harry held his now poisoned arm as he could feel the basilisk venom spreading throughout his entire system. Pulling off one last trick, he summoned what power he had left and covered himself in golden flames. He was aware that it would not be enough, but maybe he could slow it down. Keeping the flames up, he made his way to Weasley; the protections had worn off and were gone. Just as he collapsed to his knees, he heard another soft musical trill and saw a big burst of fire come before him. The next thing he knew, a phoenix bigger and more beautiful than Fawkes appeared before him.
"Who are you" he tentatively asked, vanishing the flames around his body. All he got was a soft trill from the bird that sounded like "I'm a friend" the Phoenix then cried into his wound where the venom entered.
Right before his eyes, the tears entered his body, and he could feel the venom dissipating. "Thank you," he said to the phoenix. In response, the bird nuzzled his face and trilled again, "don't thank me yet! There is still one last thing to do!"
Then the phoenix flamed away.
Harry narrowed his eyes at the diary in the girl's hands and then turned to Voldemort, who had managed to get out of the barrier. Moving the book out of her hands, he brought the sword up and stabbed it. He then saw ink that almost looked like blood and heard Voldemort screaming in pain, gritting his teeth; he turned to him. "How does it feel to be the one in pain," he said sadistically and twisted the blade. The fragment screamed even louder and exploded. Taking the sword out, he saw it change back to normal.
At that moment, Weasley woke up and looked at him with terror. "Relax," he said before she could say anything, "Riddle is gone, and the basilisk has been killed."
Showdown is over!
Harry then vanished the sword back to its resting place; he summoned the hat and the crystals using his wand. "Come on, we need to get out of here" he struggled to his feet and conjured a crutch as he was far too weak to make it out alone. Drawing his attention behind him, he saw that Byakko had returned to his normal form. 'Thank you, my friend,' he mentally said.
Byakko trotted over to him and rubbed against his leg. 'I told you, I would always be there for you,' he mentally replied.
Harry was still too weak as he could barely stand, and his vision became blurry. Before he lost consciousness, he saw that some people were rushing toward him and Weasley, who was muttering about getting expelled. Harry then collapsed into the arms of someone very familiar.

Jack had just arrived in time to catch Hadrian as he was about to collapse. Inspecting his entire body, "Hadrian! Hadrian, wake up," he shouted and placed the boy back down on the ground. He felt his pulse and was relieved that he was still alive. Picking him back up, "I want this entire chamber checked. Leave no stone unturned," he ordered the agents that accompanied him.
"Lieutenant Burnett," he addressed her, "you are in charge. I need to get Hadrian and Miss Weasley out of here."
"Yessir," she saluted. "She then addressed the others "you heard the captain start searching the place" the rest of the agents ran to separate parts of the chamber with wands in their hands. "Mr. Amir," she said to the man who had accompanied them.
The man looked to be in his early 50s. "Go with the other agents and see if you can find anything else that is enchanted in parseltongue."
He didn't need to be told a second time and started scanning for anything in the chamber.

While that was going on, Captain Stevenson took Harry, Byakko, and Weasley back to the beginning of the chamber entrance.
"Cassie," he shouted up the slide.
"I'm here, Jack," he heard her voice "is Hadrian alright?" the concern in her voice was evident.
"He's alive but has suffered greatly and is out cold," he explained. "I'm going to levitate him to you." Jack placed the child on the chute and removed the items in his possession as it was evidence, and he is damned if Dumbledore got to it before he could view it. Taking his wand out, he waved it over, Hadrian, and slowly levitated him up the chute.
On the other end, Cassiopeia was eagerly waiting with Professor McGonagall and two other agents for Hadrian. Seeing something move in the shadows, she assumed it was him and waved her own wand levitating the boy to her. When he was safely out, she levitated him into her arms. The state he was in shocked her greatly "dear God! What has happened to you" she cradled the boy.
Minerva soon stepped forward. "Professor Black, you need to take him to Poppy. She can heal him," she said, only to be met by a dangerous glare. "The hell I'm going to her! I'm taking Hadrian to the ICW for treatment."
Before Minerva could say anything, Jack levitated Miss Weasley out of the shoot with one of the agent's help, soon followed by Byakko and then by Jack himself. "Minerva, we are taking Hadrian to the ICW for treatment! While we're doing that, you escort Miss Weasley to the school matron," he said with finality in his voice. Then turned to the other two agents, "you two stay here! No one enters or exits this bathroom other than the agents that came along or Mr. Amir."
"Yessir," they saluted him and stood guard.
While Minerva escorted Miss. Weasley to the hospital wing. Cassiopeia, Byakko, and Jack raced to the closest floo network they could find. She rushed to the floo network and flooed out of the room with Jack and Byakko behind her, going to her office. The three arrived in the ICW medical wing, where they were met by a man slightly older than Jack.
"Mistress Black, Captain Stevenson, what is going on?" he asked, looking at the boy in the woman's arms. "Merlin, what has happened to this boy. Bring him over here," he indicated to one of the beds. Cassie slowly placed him down and allowed the man to do his job.
The healer ran his wand over the boy casting several diagnostic charms, and what he saw shocked him to his core. "This boy is fortunate to be alive," he exclaimed.
"What is wrong with him?" Cassie asked, narrowing her eyes at the man.
The healer ignored her question and started removing the boy's clothes until he was in his boxers and levitated him to one of the healing tubes. Carefully levitating him in as he didn't want to cause him any more pain, he placed the boy down, grabbed one of the simmering cauldrons, and poured it inside. Taking his wand, he put the bubblehead charm around the boy and closed the door, letting the potion rise. He watched as the child was floating in the tube being healed.
Jack stepped forward. "Chief Winston, will he be alright?" The medical chief whirled around and saw the two coming his way.
"It's hard to say," he said. "This boy has suffered greatly. He has internal bleeding, many of his bones are broken, his lungs are punctured, he been subjected to the cruciatus curse multiple times, his nerves are greatly traumatized, basilisk venom is in his bloodstream, but it's been neutralized, and he is magically exhausted. By all accounts, this boy is lucky to be still alive. Even if he does manage to pull through, I can't be sure he will regain consciousness."
Cassie stepped forward with Byakko next to her, placing a hand on the tube she whispered. "Hadrian please pull through."
Jack placed a hand on her shoulder. "Cassie, I need to head back to Hogwarts and check on the other agents. If either Arcturus or Sirius comes around, I will send them here."
She didn't turn around but gave him a nod.

Meanwhile, back at Hogwarts, Minerva had just arrived at the hospital wing with Miss. Weasley. They saw that many of the students were moving again. McGonagall told her first year to get into one of the beds. The said girl climbed into one of the available beds, and before Minerva could call Poppy over, the Floo network activated and revealed a very livid Arcturus Black and a ghostly paled Sirius.
The Hogwarts didn't notice them arrive and went to inspect Miss. Weasley.
"Lord Black, Sirius, what are you doing here?" Minerva asked them.
The two Blacks stepped forward, and the former was the first to speak "where is Hadrian" he said, ignoring her question. When she didn't speak, Arcturus narrowed his eyes and asked again but with more power in his voice, "where is my nephew?"
Before Minerva could answer, Dumbledore burst through the door with Arthur, Molly, and Lady Zabini, Molly rushed to her daughter and exclaimed, "Ginny," she said it with volume in her voice enveloped her in a bone-crushing hug. Lady Zabini went to her son, who was now able to move, and enveloped him in a warm hug.
Albus noticed that Arcturus and Sirius were in the room and silently hoped that things would not get out of hand. "Lord Black, Sirius, why are you two here tonight?"
Sirius was the one to speak, "we got word that Hadrian went into the chamber of secrets and we are searching for him" he was very concerned for his godson as he had already let him down when he was a baby he refused to do that again.
"What" someone exclaimed from across the room. The adults all turned their attention to Blaise Zabini. "He went down in that chamber alone! "Where is he?" Blaise tried to get out of bed, but his mother pushed him back.
"A question, I believe Miss. Weasley could provide us" Dumbledore twinkled his eyes and turned his head to the redheaded girl. "Excuse me, my dear, can you tell us where young Mr. Potter is?"
Ginny answered, "the last I saw of him, he was being escorted to the ICW infirmary by the Captain and Professor Black." Dumbledore proceeded to ask her a few questions until she apparently passed out. Arcturus and Sirius headed back to the floo network to go to the ICW. The latter rushed over while the former walked. As Sirius was about to approach the network, Jack stepped out of the flames and caught the man.
"I'm glad you two are here," he said as he noted the looks on their faces "Hadrian is in the ICW's medical wing with Cassiopeia and Chief Healer Arnold Winston." Sirius didn't waste a moment and flooed over before Arcturus could floo away. Jack grabbed him by the arm and started whispering in his ear, "Hadrian managed to get a recording of what happened in the chamber. I might need your opinion as some of the information eludes me, but it might make sense to you," he said lowly.
Arcturus gave him a nod and flooed to the ICW medical wing.
Jack walked over to the others and threw the sorting hat at Dumbledore, who caught it "figured you would want that back. If you excuse me, I need to check in with my other agents."
Dumbledore stepped in "Captain Stevenson, I need to speak with Mr. Potter about what happened in the chamber," he said in an authoritative voice.
Jack turned his ire at the old headmaster. "The boy just faced a basilisk and is in a deplorable state. You can ask your questions when he gets back. Right now, this is an ICW matter, and as I am his guardian, he falls under my jurisdiction."
"This is a matter of safety to the school, and the well-being of the students" Dumbledore lost the twinkle in both his eyes.
The Captain of the ICW was not going to let him interfere. "That may be. So how about you explain why you allowed a basilisk to roam free all school year long or why I was not informed of this matter, to begin with."
Dumbledore instantly went quiet and paled slightly along with the others. Severus sharply turned to Jack as he wondered what had happened to the boy. The only thing he could get was that Hadrian was in pain. Did the boy really fight a basilisk? He didn't even want to think about what would happen to the boy didn't make it out of that forsaken chamber. Minerva held her hands to her mouth and gasped.
"I assure you, Captain Stevenson, that I didn't know what was attacking the students," he said in his best grandfather's voice.
Jack didn't believe him for one minute. "Well until I get answers. You will not have a say in the matter, and if you attempt to interfere in any way, you will be treated as an accomplice. And I will be borrowing your potions master."
Dumbledore was in a real bind now. He had just got back and had been warned to stay away, less he is treated the same as a criminal. The only silver lining was that at least with Severus going to the ICW, and he might see what happened. Looking over at Lord Stevenson and Severus, the former was explaining why he was needed. Severus motioned for him to the side while Jack talked over the communicator to the rest of his unit.
Severus and Albus deliberated about why he had to go as he was master with dark magic. Dumbledore tasked him with finding out what had occurred in the chamber, much to Severus's annoyance. On the inside, he was worried for Hadrian's safety but kept his usual sneer to fool Dumbledore. Severus even warned him that it might be impossible to get any information, but Dumbledore insisted he does what he could and report back. The next moment another set of people came in, all who were wearing ICW uniforms, except for one he assumed they brought as a way of getting into the chamber.
"Captain" the woman saluted. Jack responded in kind, "Lieutenant Burnett, what did you find in there?"
She leaned in close and started whispering in his ear what they found. Jack sighed "better to leave it untouched then. All of you head back to the ICW and hand in your reports. Mr. Amir, thank you for your services." With that, they all left via floo network with Severus following behind, but he aimed his destination toward the medical wing of the ICW behind Jack.
When he emerged through the fire, he saw that Hadrian was being taken out of the tube and placed on the bed. Bustling over, he started asking questions regarding the boy. The healer shook his head "I'm sorry, but I can only discuss the matter with his guardians."
Severus was about to say that he was the boy's father, but Jack stepped in "it's alright, Arnold. Professor Snape was brought here because of his expertise with dark magic as such, and his knowledge will be most invaluable."
The head healer reluctantly agreed and explained the boy's prognosis… "physically he will recover, but I cannot guarantee he will regain consciousness. The amount of magic he used combined with his injuries resulted in him being in a coma."
Severus was grief-stricken at what he heard. His son was in a coma. The only thing he knew was that the boy had suffered a tremendous amount of pain. "Treat him the best way you can."
The other man gave the nod. "I'll do everything I can!" he replied.
Jack placed a hand on Severus's shoulder. "Severus. I need to speak with you," he said as calmly as possible, making him turn around. Jack understood his pain as it was clear in his black eyes. "Sirius, Cassie, and Takashi will stay with Hadrian. I need to have a word with you, Arcturus, and the commander."
Severus looked at the other three. Sirius was the first to respond, "we won't leave his side." Grudgingly, Severus followed along and left the wing with Jack and Arcturus. The three went to Jack's office, where they waited for Commander Taymore to show up. A few minutes later, the commander walked through the floo.
Alex looked around and surveyed the room. While he was doing that, Jack put some privacy wards around his door and added an anti-eavesdropping ward and a powerfully silencing spell.
"I get a wake-up call saying that there had been an incident," Alex started, "but I'm not sure that's the right word for this situation at the moment. What's happened?"
Jack took out the crystals and the diary in his possession and placed them on his desk. Taking one of the crystals, he activated it to show the recording so they could all see. They all watched as the crystal revealed Harry speaking with Moaning Myrtle and saw him speaking in parseltongue to open the many sinks. He then jumped and slid down the chute for a while until he made it to the bottom in a nest of bones. They watched as he lit his wand and proceeded forward until he saw something big on the ground. Severus was silently praying that it was not the basilisk, only to breathe a sigh of relief when it was just it's skin that appeared to be over 60ft long.
They proceeded to watch as the child asked for any of the house-elves could come to him only to see that they didn't come. They all watched as he approached a vault-like door and called Jack for assistance. The captain was not happy that he had gone alone and only backed off when Harry said he needed him in ICW mode. Jack told him to keep the communications up, and after that, Harry hissed again, opening the entrance. They saw the fabled chamber of secrets. Moving forward, they saw Hadrian wave his wand and summoned Weasley to him. After checking to see if she was alive, he moved forward he called out to the darkest part of the cave. The person emerged from the shadows, and Harry identified him as Tom Riddle, aka Voldemort, making them freeze. That was what the dark lord looked like when he was 16.
The two spoke where Harry asked how Voldemort might have been here, as he was supposed to be dead. Riddle said that he was a memory preserved in the diary for 50 years. Harry called him out on his lie as memories were not interactive and were unable to produce a body. Voldemort's expression changed as he had been found out that the boy was right. He went on to explain how Ginny had been writing into the diary for the past few months and how he had been feeding off of her magic, growing strong enough to pass on some of his own secrets. He admitted that he was possessing Weasley all this time and used her to open the chamber and release the basilisk upon the students and that she was the one who wrote the message on the wall.
Harry asked why he attacked Blaise and was given the answer by saying that it was his way to get a message to him as he wanted to talk with him. Then he explained how he framed Hagrid for killing Myrtle Warren when she was in the stall crying and was ecstatic that everyone seemed to believe it. Everyone except Albus Dumbledore, who was the transfiguration teacher at the time. They all watched intently as the two teens talked further and were surprised by the fact that Voldemort was a half-blood and raised in a muggle orphanage. What really got their attention was that Dumbledore knew about his hatred of muggles and always sent him back, much to his annoyance. They heard about the part of how it was Dumbledore who brought him into the magical world. Which only seemed to make the adults angry as Albus indeed knew something about Voldemort.
However, when they heard about Horcrux's diary, Severus and Arcturus were both pale and with the latter seething at what he just heard. Voldemort had created that abomination of magic. It was a crime against nature and the laws of magic. Severus, on the other hand, looked like he was about to be sick.
After that, they watched as the two began to duel in earnest. The adults had to admit that they were impressed that the boy could duel the way he did. Severus nodded in approval at how Hadrian had managed to fend off the dark lord and even land a few hits himself. Arcturus beamed with pride as he saw the boy dueling using the potter and Black family spells. The duel started intensifying as Harry began using runic clusters against Voldemort's parselmagic. The other adults didn't dare look away as this was no duel. This was a showdown. They saw that Voldemort tried to fire a spell at him to be blocked by a shield that they didn't know about. The spells rocketed back to a caster with more speed and power, which greatly impressed them. Harry tossed some of the talismans he had over to Weasley, forming a protective barrier using the smoke.
What happened next was a set of daggers being hurled the boy way. They watched with great satisfaction as Harry was able to do battle transfiguration to match his opponent. Clearly, his dueling masters did a fantastic job when they were training him, as some of those spells were hard for the students at Hogwarts to perform. As the battle continued, Hadrian eventually conjured a set of a pink projectiles, sending them to Voldemort, then made them explode, destroying the top part of his body. They would have clapped, but Voldemort started fixing himself and got back up, shocking them as he somehow came back.
The duel between the two started again, with both trading various dangerous spells, which soon escalated to them using elemental magic. The force of their attacks began to create shockwaves, lightning was striking everything, and the ground was shaking with intensity. The more power they pushed, the more unstable destruction they caused to the chamber, that was until Harry let out a war cry and started moving forward with his eyes glowing bright green. Eventually, the two's power became so unstable that it caused an explosion that sent both flying. The adults saw how Harry crashed into the wall and could only cringe at the amount of pain the boy must have been in.
Both got to their feet, and Voldemort started chanting, making the magic in the room come to him; Hadrian shouted in disgust as he knew what that ritual would do. Voldemort didn't listen and continued chanting; when he was done, the battle slowly shifted into Voldemort's favor as Harry was having difficulty defending himself. They watched as the boy spun around and conjured a fire around him and began waving his wand around. Each of his opponent's spells was blocked by the fire whips and seemed to attack him putting Voldemort on the defensive. It also helped that he could retransfigure it into anything. That was until a spell hit the boy's leg, and he pushed the fire at Voldemort, then transformed into his animagus form and rushed toward his opponent.
When he got close enough, he transformed back and started striking him in various spots on his body. The adults were amazed as Hadrian was destroying Riddle in muggle combat; Arcturus, in particular, was exceptionally pleased with the pain Voldemort was experiencing. They watched as Hadrian kept on striking him until eventually, he brought him down to his knees and placed both hands on him, incinerating him in blue flames. After harrying collapsed to one knee panting, he got back up and made his way to Weasley, completely unaware that Riddle and reformed. The boy didn't even have time to move out of the way as Voldemort shouted the cruciatus curse at him, making him crumple to the ground. Hadrian refused to scream and only gritted his teeth.
Arcturus watched with intense rage as Voldemort kept up the torture curse on the boy. After shooting another cruciatus at the boy, the bastard fired some painful spells at Harry that he was sure destroyed many of his bones. Voldemort then turned to the giant stone carving of Salazar Slytherin and began speaking in Parseltongue. Arcturus paled considerably when the basilisk started coming out and was ordered to kill his nephew. It shocked him and the others greatly as Hadrian pulled out a set of glasses designed to use against the snake king. A brief wash of relief enveloped him as the boy would not end up dead because of the deadly stare; but it was short-lived when he saw the boy fighting the basilisk either freezing, electrocuting (some of the lightning went to him), or even setting the thing on fore with a new spell. All of which only proved to anger the creature even further, that was until he conjured the roosters and hit them with a sonorous charm. Voldemort boasted that he took precautions and enchanted the snake himself. Harry then released Byakko from his tattoo form to let him deal with the basilisk while Harry resumed his duel with Voldemort.
Even with Hadrian's power restored, he was no match for Voldemort as he was on the defensive. They watched as Byakko raced toward Voldemort and started tearing him a new one before he eventually threw him to the opposite side of the wall where he was buried under rubble. What happened next greatly shocked them as Hadrian began chanting in a different language. Severus knew immediately what was going to happen and went extremely pale. When he finished chanting, he and Byakko were engulfed in blinding white light, and Hadrian emerged in a new form that he had never seen before. Hadrian started attacking the dark lord again with his new form, but this time with much more power than before. This time the tides have turned, and his son was winning. The boy ripped off the bastard's arm and head before throwing the rest of him away. Then slammed his fist into the ground and stopped the transfer of magic from going to Voldemort. They saw how he snapped Weasley's wand in two and proceeded to take out his own wand and perform a barrier around Voldemort as he started to rebuild himself. After that, he and Byakko split, and he crumpled to the ground feeling drained. Then they saw the tail of the basilisk come in and swing at him, knocking him against the wall that made him cry out in pain.
Byakko soon came to his aid with the sorting hat in his mouth, and Harry reached in and pulled out a beautiful sword. They later identified as the sword of Godric Gryffindor. The three watched as Harry lifted it in the air and began chanting in a different language. As he chanted, the sword started changing into what he called Excalibur. The sword of one of the four founders of Hogwarts was the Holy sword of Excalibur. Hadrian then instructed to lead the basilisk his way, and when it got close enough, he started running toward it and thrust the sword up just as the basilisk was about to bring it's mouth down. All of the adults were frightened as one of the snake's fangs pierced the boy's skin; yanking the sword and the tooth out, the basilisk fell lifeless. But Harry had been poisoned and was feeling the strain on his body. Using the last bit of his strength, he summoned a gold flame around his body and made his way to Weasley. When he got close enough, he dropped to his knees and was suddenly approached by a ball of fire that manifested in front of him, showing a phoenix other than Fawkes; the bird cried into his wound then vanished. Severus breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the venom was neutralized. Finally, Hadrian pulled the book out of the girl's grasp and stabbed it with the sword making it squirt black ink out. Before he proceeded, he asked Voldemort a question, twisted the blade, and made the fragment explode.
Jack ended the recording and saw the mixed emotions of the other guest. Arcturus was looking with pride, and Alex was looking between shocked and amazed. The boy had just fought the teenage version of Voldemort and killed a basilisk; that was something unheard of before. Severus, on the other hand, was going through a mixture of emotions at the moment.
The potions master could not decide if he wanted to praise Hadrian for what he did or throttle the boy for doing something the adults should have. Putting those thoughts on hold for the time being, he looked back at the others "if you don't, I'm going to go see my son" he got up and dispelled the enchantments on the door and left. Leaving the others alone.
Alex spoke up after an intense moment of silence. "That boy fought bravely. He did the job adults should have done and saved the school that had shunned him. He is truly something special," he commented.
"I'll say," Arcturus chimed in, "but before we continue singing his praises, we have to discuss how we are going to deal with this situation. Starting with that blasted diary!" he roared, looking at the book with disgust.
"What do you recommend?" Alex asked. Arcturus got up from his seat, walked over to the door, and put the enchantments back on. Making sure that his spells would hold, he faced the two "I want to do some research about it. Maybe I can find some answers."
"What kind of answers?" Jack asked with mixed emotions.
Arcturus kept his eyes on his former students "to see if that bastard made any more of those abominations," he answered. The two agents looked at each other, silently debating about the matter. After a few minutes of negotiating, they gave the older man a nod. Arcturus levitated the wand to him and called one of his family elves, "Darwin!"
The next moment a young, well-dressed elf popped in front of him "what can Darwin do, for Lord Black?"
Arcturus levitated the book to the elf "I need you to put this diary in a secure place at Blacks Castle." The elf snatched the book out of the air and spoke, "it will be done, sir" then he popped away.
"Now about the recording" Arcturus started, "what are we going to do about it?"
Jack replied, "the ICW is going to need a full report about this debacle. Luckily, we have two separate recordings."
"Two" Alex enquired questioningly. He watched as Jack pulled out another crystal and placed it on his desk. "This only adds to the long list of things Dumbledore has ignored."
"The old goat aside" Arcturus chimed in "the question is do we release this to the public?"
Jack stepped in "I think we should. However, that is not our decision to make" he paused. "The right to decide if this becomes public knowledge is Harry's."
"Agreed," Alex said. "the boy has a right to throw this at the people who blamed him for this whole mess, to begin with. He might even get an Order of Merlin 1st class for this."
"That is only if he agrees to it" Arcturus came in. "Hadrian hates the spotlight and the attention he gets. Not only that, I doubt he accept a medal from the ministry, after what those cunts tried to do."
Alex suddenly got an idea. "What if he got it from the ICW?"
"I will discuss it with him" Arcturus replied. "I'm going to require one of those crystals."
Jack didn't argue and grabbed one of them off his desk and handed it to him. "Alright let's head back to the medical wing." Arcturus dispelled the wards, and they walked out of the room.
Going back to the medical wing, they saw all of the adults were still there, except for Chief Winston, whom they assumed was in his office writing up a report about the matter. Alex saw Severus holding his son's outstretched hand. People say that Severus was a cold, sour, and cynical man, but that was just a façade he put on to fool people. Deep down, he was a good man who would do anything for his son. If anyone said that Severus would never be a father, they would be wrong as he had proven his capabilities repeatedly.
At that moment, Winston walked out of his office and addressed them. "Alright times up. Time for you all to go home."
Alex spoke, "Arnold, they have a right to be" he didn't get to finish as the healer cut him off. "The boy needs to rest. You may be the commander of the ICW, but I'm the commander in here. So, while you're in my infirmary, I give the orders. Capiche!"
Alex wanted to refute him, but he was right. They were in the medical bay, and it was not within his jurisdiction. "Understood, sir," he reluctantly said.
"You all may come back tomorrow to see him," the man said.
Arcturus spoke in a cold voice "fine, but you and only you will treat him" he glared at the younger man. "If anything happens to him. I will show you a terror beyond the horrors of hell."
The head healer paled slightly but composed himself. "I give you my word that no harm will come to him."
"It better not" he narrowed his eyes and flared his nostrils. He and the others made to leave the room. Severus was reluctant to leave his son's side, but he understood, 'wake up soon, my son,' he mentally said softly.
With that, he flooed back to Hogwarts and made his way to the headmaster's office.

A few hours later, in Japan, Emily and Miwa were having lunch in the cafeteria. The former was wracked with grief as she couldn't get in touch with her brother. No matter what she tried, she couldn't respond to him, which made her worry. Miwa herself was also concerned after hearing what happened to Blaise. She was worried that the next victim would be Harry. Needless to say, both girls were concerned and wondering what was going on. When the bell rang, signaling much was over, they went back to their next period classes.
The rest of the day passed dreadfully slow in their opinions, and right when the last day of classes ended, they were summoned to the headmaster's office. Both girls wondered what this was about, but the younger was secretly worried as she feared something bad had happened.
Upon arrival, they knocked on the door, and after getting permission to come in, they opened the door to see that both their fathers were present with the headmaster. Giving a respectful bow, they greeted the headmaster and said hello to their guardians.
Headmaster Yoshi sucked in a breath. "I bet you two are wondering why you have been summoned, today" he began. "You two are here because something happened overseas at Hogwarts, and it concerns young Potter."
Emily was immediately on guard as she was right, and something did happen to her brother. "What happened?" she shakingly asked.
Her father was the one to speak, "Emily, I need you to remain calm. Harry went into the chamber and fought a basilisk. Right now, he is in a coma!"
"What" she exclaimed.
Before she could speak again, Miwa came in "will he be alright" she asked with concern in her voice.
"Physically, he will recover," Jack replied, "but the amount of magic he used was too much, and now he is in a coma."
"Can we go see him" she asked, looking at her father and the headmaster.
"Tomorrow," her father responded. He knew how close the two were as they deeply cared about one another. "However, there is something I want to know" he narrowed his eyes at her. "How did he get his hands on one of those glasses?"
At the moment, Miwa didn't care about the consequences she would be facing. She just wanted to make sure her brother was safe. "A few months back, Harry sent me a letter about what was going on at Hogwarts. The three of us concluded that it was a basilisk, and when you took me to the ICW that day, I wrote down the instructions on how to create glasses that would protect the wearer from the gaze of it. But I didn't know he actually go into the chamber."
Ichika was livid. "And you did not think to inform me or anyone in the ICW."
"We wanted to," she said. "But there would have been the chance of Harry being taken away and probably killed. "You know what ICW would have done if they assumed it was him who was controlling the basilisk."
"Be that as it may," he accepted his daughter's words. "You should have informed Jack or me of the matter. When you get home, you are grounded," he sternly said.
Miwa bowed her head, accepting the punishment.
Jack looked at his own daughter "the same goes for you, young lady."
Arata took control "you two may leave now. Your fathers will take you to the ICW branch in Magical Britain tomorrow" he dismissed them.
The two gave respectful bows and left the room.

Three days later, over at Hogwarts, the student body talked about Hadrian Potter going into the chamber of secrets to save Ginny Weasley's life. The rumors were sketchy at best, but most students just started speaking as if they knew what happened. The girl in question was out for two days; Madam Pomfrey said she had suffered under the influence of a dark object and told her she would need a lot of work. Albus said that the young girl would need some rest. So, they just left her there under Pomfrey's care. The same could be said for her wand as her mother had fussed about it being destroyed.
Dumbledore himself was facing trouble himself; whatever happened in that chamber was not how things were supposed to go. While he knew the Potter brat didn't like him, he would have assumed that the boy would have come to him and he would be the one to kill the basilisk. That would have renewed the people's trust in him, and he would still be seen as the greatest wizard of all time. But that had been snatched away as the boy went alone. The only silver linings were that he could persuade the other members of the board of governors to remove Lucius Malfoy from being the chairman of the board. Lucius may have tried to voice that his concern was entirely for the school and the student's well-being, but the damage was done, and he was no longer a factor. The other was that Hagrid was released from Azkaban as he needed the half-giant's unquestionable loyalty to him.
As for Blaise Zabini, he was concerned over his friend's well-being as he had not been seen for the past few days. He already informed Tracey and Daphne about what he knew, and the girls were not happy, especially not Daphne, who was extremely worried for Hadrian. She had grown to care for the boy who she considered one of her closest friends; when they tried to ask Professor Snape what happened, he refused to speak about where Harry was or his health. Daphne could only hope that he would be alright and how she would like to give him a severe tongue lashing for going into the chamber alone.
Speaking of Professor Snape, the usual sour potions master was in a sour mood the last few days and docked points and gave detentions for the slightest reasons. He was currently in his quarters, sitting on the couch in front of the fire, holding a picture of him and Hadrian. This was one of his favorite pictures of him and the boy. It was taken the first summer after the boy's first year at Mahoutokoro. They were currently in the potions lab at Prince manor, working on a potion together. Severus closed his eyes and thought back to when the memory.
Flashback
A few days after school ended, a seven-year-old Hadrian Potter was spending the day at his adoptive father's house. He was currently in the main sitting room reading about some of the basic potion ingredients, whilst Severus went out for a little while to get a few things in Diagon Alley. The young boy possessed an exceedingly strong intellect and a drive to be the best he could be. He always seemed drawn to it whenever he was given a challenge as it was calling and begging him to conquer it. His family acknowledge this and warned him to be careful should he decide to take on a challenge. While he was free to study somethings, they decided to take baby steps and evaluate his progress; only then would they decide to take him to the next level. He was given certain limitations on what he could do, and this was mainly his dad's decision as he didn't want him to think that he was free to do anything he wanted. It would also teach him to control his impulses. Severus had made sure to put his foot down about that matter.
After spending an hour reading two chapters in his book, Harry put it down and went to walk around the manor; he eventually found himself in the potion lab. His dad made it quite clear that he didn't want him doing potions alone and unsupervised, so he settled for reading about the different mixtures and working on them with either Severus or Aunt Cassie. His attention was soon drawn to a cabinet in the corner. It was where Severus housed many of his own personal books when creating potions. Seeing that his dad was out, Harry went to open the cabinet and was surprised that it was easy for him to unlock. Scanning the many books, his eyes fell on a light brown book, and as he was about to reach for it, he heard the voice of his dad.
"What have I told you about going through my things? Hmm," his father's silk voice was heard behind him.
Turning around, he saw that his dad was standing in the doorway, not looking happy. Harry knew when his dad was serious and when he wasn't and just gave a small smile. Severus eyed him critically for a minute before he grows a smile on his face "what book were you reaching for?" he asked.
Harry replied, "the light brown one in the middle."
Severus walked to him. "I had a feeling you be interested. So, I keyed you into the security ward before you came home" he then pulled out the book and held it in the air. "Would you like to work on one?" Harry nodded with enthusiasm.
"Alright, but you will show me which potion you want to do, and you will read how to brew it first. I will supervise you," he said in a silk voice.
"Thanks, Dad," Harry said with glee as he took the book and sat at one of the tables. Opening the book, he spent the next few minutes looking for a potion until he found the one he wanted to work on. He got up and showed his dad.
"Pepper up potion," he said, looking from the book to him. "Ok, read the steps and get some dragon gloves. While you're doing that, I will get the ingredients and cauldron read." Severus watched as Hadrian went to one of the cupboards and pulled out a set of dragonhide gloves. Grabbing them, he returned to his seat, began reading the steps and noting his dad's side notes. Spending the next 20 minutes reading, he signaled that he was done.
For the next 45 minutes, Hadrian worked on the potion with Severus watching him. Severus had him explain each step he took and the reasons why. When it was done, Severus grabbed a vial and filled it with the potion to evaluate it. Carefully inspecting it, he concluded that the potion was brewed carefully and handed it to the boy. Severus then went to a cabinet by his desk, pulled out a magical camera, and summoned one of the house-elves.
"Marchosias, come here," he asked, and the elf popped before him.
"What can Marchosias do for Master Severus?" the elf asked.
"I need you to take a picture of my son and me," Severus said. "We had just finished brewing the pepper-up potion together."
Marchosias had grown very fond of young Hadrian over the time they spent together and happily agreed. Severus stood behind Hadrian and placed and on the boy's shoulder, while Harry held the potion in his hands. Both father and son smiled, and the elf snapped the picture.
Flashback ended
Severus opened his eyes and placed the picture back in his room. Releasing a breath, he couldn't have been more proud of the person the his son was growing into. He only wished that; Hadrian never had to suffer as much as he did. He was only a child. Looking at the clock, he saw that it was late and retired for the night.
A/N: I'm wondering if I went a little overboard on the duel in the chamber of secrets. Though in my defense this does take place in the magical world! So, what are you going to do. Anyway, the duel between Harry and Voldemort become serious and Harry managed to prevail despite the fact of facing a horcrux, that was able to manifest a body. He and Byakko merged to combat him, but he couldn't hold it as the stress on his body would have eventually killed him. As for Hadrian speaking in Sanskrit and Old Welsh, that is part of this story as they are ancient languages, and he was using them with great proficiency. I couldn't find an online translation for Old Welsh so just go with it. He also saw the memory of King Arthur along with his knights and awakens Excalibur. Before you all say anything, in this story Hadrian is a direct descendant of two of King Arthur court. One being part of the Gryffindor family and the head of the knights, so he has claims to the sword.
After the battle Hadrian collapsed from using all that magic and fell into a coma. I mean if you all were pushed to the extreme the way he was wouldn't you all be out cold?
As for the phoenix that cried into his wound. I know it was Fawkes who did it in the book and movie, but this is a fanfic, and we can make up anything we want. Anyway, Harry just met the Suzaku, the second heavenly magical beast.
Part of me wants to punish Weasley for this mess and I know many of you would like me to. However, I believe she had suffered enough! Also, take this into consideration she was under the control of a dark object no doubt it affected her mind and magical core and Dumbledore never sent her to a proper healer. Talk about being a poor headmaster. This is commonsense if a student has been under stress they need to see people who specialize in fixing them.
Next chapter: Miwa and Daphne get into it.
FYI: I think I have a way of getting Dobby free and keep the Malfoys on Harry side.
