Ethan: The last of the Witches 5 unleashes her entire might! We'll have quite the struggle on that end.
PDR: But that's not the only struggle that will need to be dealt with. An unexpected incident occurs that causes the silence to be fully awakened.

Chapter 32
Awakening of the Silence! Heart of True Purity!
The last of the Witches 5, Cyprine, uses hypnosis to bring students into Mugen Academy at night.
'Come, students. Come to Mugen School. Come to me!' Cyprine lures.
Meanwhile, Amara and Michelle have invited Thomas to their home for the day. They currently watch over the cityscapes at the rooftop.
"I had a great day, today. You guys have it made!" Thomas grins.
"It's not the lap of total luxury, but it does have a lot to offer." Amara says.
"You had quite the appetite, Thomas. Have you always been a big eater?" Michelle wonders.
"I think it's more of being a Saiyan that is why I am able to, and sometimes need to, eat so much. I mean, between my powers of chi, and my Super Saiyan transformations, I have to gain that energy somehow!" Thomas informs.
"You could probably win any food contest with no trouble at all. I would love to see you cream the competition at a Hot Dog eating contest." Amara hopes.
"I could participate in two different contests at the same time, and still win them both easily!" Thomas grins.
"Hahaha! Now, that I would love to see!" Michelle giggles.
"Yeah!" Amara agrees.
Amara stares into the ground with a deep thinking expression.
"What's up?" Thomas notices.
"I was just thinking about our rivalry we used to have, and... where it could go from here." Amara says.
"Do you really think you stand a chance of winning against Thomas?" Michelle wonders.
"Only if he's distracted. Like how I knocked you cold when your attention was at a Chaos Emerald." Amara answers.
"Admittedly, you got me good." Thomas smiles sheepishly.
"I am truly sorry about doing that, by the way. It was a dirty trick. Additionally... I can't apologize enough for the way I acted towards you and with Serena and friends." Amara frowns.
"You had your reasons. And that's all in the past. I don't want us separating like that, again, though." Thomas hopes.
"I don't plan to, nor do I ever want to. Same with you, Michelle?" Amara asks.
"I was more hesitant towards going against you all, but I believed in what Amara was thinking of at the time." Michelle says.
"I getcha. Glad we can team up once again." Thomas nods.
Amara suddenly gets a huge foreboding within her.
"Huh? Something wrong?" Thomas wonders.
"We'll need to team up soon, Thomas." Amara informs.
"What do you- ohhhhh!" Thomas senses.
Michelle also gets a huge sense within her. The wind begins to blow around them.
"It feels like the wind is crying." Amara senses.
"And this planet itself seems to be frightened at... some unknown terror." Michelle adds.
"We're coming for you, doc. And we will stop your plans!" Thomas desires.
It's bath time at the Tsukino residence. Rini is using a bubble devise to blow bubbles into the air, while also thinking about Hotaru.
'Hotaru... I wonder where you are.' Rini thinks.
Nearby, Serena is washing her hair with a shower head. After drying her head, she overlooks Rini, who blows bubbles.
'Ohh, Rini...' Serena becomes worried about Rini. She goes up to her to try and cheer her up. "Hey, Rini, I'm sure Hotaru will be alriiiaaaaaaaaah!"
Serena accidently slips on soap bar and crashes right into Rini in the bath.
Rini becomes a bit annoyed at her, "Serena..."
"I'm so sorry, Rini." Serena sincerely apologizes.
Rini cheers up quickly by dunking Serena into the water briefly, "Now, it's your turn!"
Serena then does the same to Rini, "Hey, you! Hahaha!"
The two laugh and have fun together as they splash each other with water.
With their bath finished, Rini opens the door and is about to head out to put on some night clothes to get ready to go to sleep.
"Have a good sleep. Don't catch a cold." Serena expresses.
"Kay." Rini turns to say something to her. "Serena?"
"Hmm?" Serena wonders.
"I'm worried about Hotaru, but I'm gonna try to be cheerful, anyway." Rini plans.
"Rini..." Serena says.
"Thank you. Good night, mommy." Rini waves and leaves the room.
"Good night, sweetie." Serena smiles.
Opening the door behind her, Luna and Artemis call for Serena.
"Serena?" Luna calls.
"Yeah?" Serena wonders.
"The Heart Snatchers are at it, again. We need to go." Artemis informs.
Serena nods, getting ready to go. After getting dressed, she runs off to Mugen School.
Prior to her leave, Artemis informs further, "The Mugen students are all flocking over to the school. Something seriously bad is going down there."
Luna also informs, "Sylvester and Tweety have come here to watch over Rini, just in case she needs company and protection."
As she runs, Serena thinks, 'Rini, I must leave you home this time. I'll try to bring Hotaru back safely, I promise.'
Meanwhile, back with the Sovereign and with Dr. Tomoe and Cyprine, Hotaru is breathing heavily.
"Shadow, Rini, I need help!" Hotaru desires.
"This is not good. She's becoming weaker and weaker." Dr. Tomoe says.
"She's needs to have many pure hearts as soon as possible. I've already made the necessary arrangements. Dr. Tomoe, as the last and greatest witch of your Witches 5, I'll do my very best for you." Cyprine wishes.
"Thank you. I just hope your best is good enough, Cyprine." He grabs her by her shoulders. "You're my own hope remaining, so don't me let down!"
"You can trust me, doctor. You'll see that you can rely much more on me than... Kaorinite." Cyprine says.
Speaking of which, Kaorinite is currently hanging upside down, watching the two nearby.
"Then, it will be pure pleasure, Cyprine!" Dr. Tomoe assures.
'Backstabber. That's exactly what he said to me. She's such a liar!' Kaorinite thinks with an upsetting tone.
Cyprine, knowing full well Kaorinite is watching, makes a face that expresses her victory over her. But, Kaorinite refuses to give up in impressing Dr. Tomoe. So, she makes one final move that will shake up the entire operation.
'She hasn't won, yet. I'll be the one who snatches the purest heart available. You'll see, Cyprine. Hmmm... going after Sailor Heart or that Saiyan's pure heart would do, but they are far too powerful to try by myself. But, considering how much she has done for Hotaru... Hmmhmmhmm! The purest heart that's easiest to go after... will be from that little girl named Rini.' Kaorinite plans with a grin.
Uh, ohh. Having Rini as the next target is not something anyone desires to have happen.
Speaking of Rini, she is currently sleeping, but is experiencing a nightmare. In it, she is in a dark void all around her. Soon, she sees Hotaru hanging on a cross, as multiple hands pop out of the ground in the intent of bringing her down.
"Rini, I need your help. Ahhhhh!" Hotaru shouts.
"Hotaru!" Rini calls.
Unable to get to her, Hotaru gets dragged farther and farther away from Rini.
"Help me, Rini! Ahhhhhhh!" Hotaru screams.
"Ahhhhh! Hotaru!" Rini wakes up sweating and panting.
Sleeping nearby Rini in her room would be Sylvester, who is on the floor, and Tweety, who is at his bird cage. Tweety hears Rini's scream and wakes up.
"Aww, Rini, did you have a bad dweam?" Tweety asks.
"Yeah. It was horrible. Hotaru was in trouble and I couldn't save her!" Rini summarizes.
'Poor, Rini. She really misses her friend.' Tweety figures.
'Hotaru...' Rini ponders.
Back at Mugen School, all of the hypnotized students gather towards the statue of the Sovereign of Silence.
Cyprine announces, "You talented and intelligent students of Mugen School, this school has given you so much. Now, you must give us something in return. You must give us your pure hearts!"
Hiding behind the pillars and seeing the students being lead to somewhere are Serena, Tina, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina.
"The time has come! You must sacrifice your pure hearts to the founders of this school, the great Heart Snatchers!" Cyprine continues.
The pure hearts of each student become offered to the statue. The girls gasp at such power and ability.
"Their heart crystals..." Lita says.
"She's taking them all!" Amy comments.
"She must be the strongest of the Witches 5." Tina figures.
"That's it. Keep them coming. Hmm hmm hmm hmm!" Cyprine says.
With a snap of her finger, a ray of red light fires to the area of where the girls are it, trapping them in a bubble. Cyprine knew quickly of where they were at, and also quickly concluded them to be sailor scouts.
"Hello, ladies! This is a private party and unfortunately... you weren't invited." Cyprine greets.
The bubble floats away, transferring them to a pocket dimension of sorts.
"Now, everyone, please continue to offer your pure hearts... while I'll go rid of some of the infestation of the sailor scouts." Cyprine says, taking her leave.
But, hidden within similar uniforms are Amara and Michelle, with Thomas keeping his power level way down to avoid detection.
"They've got our friends trapped somewhere." Thomas says.
"We'll just have to trust them to handle that witch. We need to get to the doctor." Amara says.
"Above the building, Amara, Thomas. That's where we need to go." Michelle informs.
The three nod as they move to their destination.
Serena's group ends up in another dimension of some sort, with a view high in the skies of the city, with Cyprine waiting for them.
"Where are we?" Raye asks.
"Welcome... Sailor Scouts." Cyprine greets.
"Huh?" The group turns to Cyprine.
"How do you do, ladies? The name's Cyprine, the last and greatest bad girl in the Bureau of Bad Behavior!" Cyprine introduces.
"The last and greatest one. Just as I thought..." Tina figures.
"If you're so great, why didn't they use you, first?" Lita questions.
"Come on, let's do it!" Mina calls.
"Venus Star Power!" Mina transforms into Sailor Venus.
"Mercury Star Power!" Amy transforms into Sailor Mercury.
"Mars Star Power!" Raye transforms into Sailor Mars.
"Jupiter Start Power!" Lita transforms into Sailor Jupiter.
"Heart Crystal Power!" Tina transforms into Sailor Heart.
"Moon Cosmic Power!" Finally, Serena transforms into Sailor Moon.
"Planet Power!" The girls shout.
"In the name of Venus, I'll preserve everything that's beautiful with love!" Venus declares.
"In the name of Mercury, our Plan Z will be flushing your silence away!" Mercury declares.
"I shall punish those who steal pure hearts and destroy innocent lives with the fire of Mars!" Mars declares.
"In the name of the planet, Jupiter, you'll regret the day you were born when I stop you. I show no mercy!" Jupiter declares.
"As the protector of Friendship, Love, and Romance, the hearts of all innocent lives shall empower us to take you down!" Heart declares.
"We shall punish you in the name of the Moon!" Moon declares.
"Hahahaha! You should sell tickets. Although, our show will be better. Silence will soon lower the earth's curtain." Cyprine states.
"Time for you to feel the flames of our justice! Together, Venus!" Mars calls.
"On it! Grass Pledge!" Venus attacks.
"Fire Pledge!" Mars attacks.
"Sea of Fire!" The two declare.
Venus strikes with a column of grass, while Mars strikes with a column of fire. The two merge together to form a huge pool of liquid that gushes all around Cyprine. It even causes the nearby windows to get shattered by its strength. A ton of smoke was formed around it.
"That was awesome, you two!" Heart compliments.
"Nice teamwork. These pledge moves we've learned from Ethan can make unexpectedly powerful results at our opponents." Amy says.
"High five!" Venus smiles.
The two high fives each other.
"How do you like that, Cyprine?" Mars gloats.
A red and blue glow of some kind glimmers behind the smoke. A red and blue energy blast strikes at Mars and Venus respectably, surprising the other scouts.
"Sailor Mars! Sailor Venus!" The other scouts call out.
Another red blast heads forth to Mars. She dodges it, but gets sniped by a blue blast, sending her down.
While the other scouts run over to Mars, Venus stays to attack Cyprine.
"Take this! Leaf... Tornado!" Venus attacks.
Venus summons a large tornado of sharp leaves right below Cyprine. She encloses the tornado right on Cyprine, trapping her in its twisted pull as she takes damage from the sharp leaves. Be that as it may, Cyprine chuckles in spite of it.
"Give it up, or I'll make it worse for you!" Venus threatens.
"All bark and no bite, sailor prissy!" Cyprine mocks.
Venus angers, "Why you- Ahhhhh!"
Venus suddenly gets attacked by a red energy blast... even though Cyprine is trapped and should be unable to counterattack. The Leaf Tornado ends, freeing Cyprine.
The girls gasp when they see Venus get attacked somehow.
"Sailor Venus!" Mars shouts.
"... What? Am I really seeing double?" Heart points.
Unfortunately, it appears to be the case. Cyprine and another girl who looks like a twin, but red instead of blue, are next to each other.
"Hahahahahahahahahahaha!" The two laugh.
"I'm Cyprine." Cyprine reintroduces.
"I'm Ptilol." Ptilol introduces.
The girls gasp again, seeing two of them together like that.
"Where did you come from, Ptilol? We only saw and sensed Cyprine!" Heart asks.
"We share one mind." Cyprine says.
"And one body." Ptilol adds.
"We are one and the same!" The two declare.
"I guess we now see why she's the strongest of the Witches 5." Heart says.
"Or... is it they?" Moon ponders.
"It doesn't matter. We still outnumber them. Share this! Discharge!" Jupiter attacks.
Jupiter releases a large wave of electricity, aiming at the both of them.
"Ptilol." Cyprine calls.
"Cyprine." Ptilol calls.
"Absorption!" The two call.
Bringing their colored staves together, they absorb all of Jupiter's electricity.
"Your mighty powers..." Ptilol says.
"Are a big joke..." Cyprine says.
"To us!" The two finish.
They send a more powerful, combined energy blast to Jupiter, dealing big damage to her.
"Ohh, no... " Moon says.
"They can absorb our attacks?" Heart sweatdrops.
"And we get stronger..." Cyprine says.
"Each time we do so." Ptilol says.
"Like... this!" The two attack.
The two each fire a beam of energy to the rest of the scouts, though they barely managed to dodge them.
"I haven't had such fun in a long time!" Cyprine feels.
"Yes, I know, Cyprine. I hope they come back for more." Ptilol desires.
"How are we going to beat the two of them?" Heart wonders.
The scouts have to figure out a way to take down the sisters, and soon, too.
Meanwhile, back with Rini, she decides to make another trip to Hotaru's house, with a specific intention... to find and see if Hotaru is in her house. Joining her to keep her safe is Sylvester and Tweety.
'Hotaru... Please, don't worry. I promise to save you.' Rini prepares.
"She's going in as Mini-Moon?" Sylvester heard from Tweety earlier.
"With the bad guys getting really bad, it's more important than ever to make sure nothing happens to Rini. She's important in bringing Hotaru back if we need her." Tweety says.
"Moon Prism Power!" Rini transforms into Mini-Moon.
And looking outside of the window is Kaorinite, who ends up seeing her transformation.
"So that little powder puff's a sailor scout. This is icing on the cake. Hmm!" Kaorinite grins.
"Okay... I'm ready, Sylvester, Tweety. Let's go!" Mini-Moon informs.
"I just hope nothing bad happens..." Sylvester desires.
Mini-Moon opens the door and slowly goes in, with the two pets following.
"I'm not scared... I'm not scared..." Mini-Moon says to herself.
"This place sure is dark!" Tweety notices.
"Alright... come on!" Mini-Moon calls.
Mini-Moon runs forward into the darkness. The two pets follow after her, as the doors magically close behind them.
They come right into the corner of Hotaru's old room. They peek into the door, and see the shadow of Kaorinite.
"H-H-H-Hotaru?" Mini-Moon calls.
"Hotaru's not here, but she misses you very much." Kaorinite says.
"Huh?" Mini-Moon says in a frightened tone.
"She has sent a message. She says to go see her and don't forget to bring your pure heart." Kaorinite 'informs'.
"It's Kaorinite!" Sylvester and Tweety shout.
The two charge in together, but Kaorinite uses dark magic to send the two flying back to the wall hard.
"Sylvester! Tweety!" Mini-Moon gasp.
Kaorinite is about to grab Mini-Moon, but a red rose strikes her hand.
"Ung!" Kaorinite reacts, as she turns to Tuxedo Mask.
"It's Tuxedo Mask!" Mini-Moon smiles.
"A childhood friendship is something to cherish your entire life. But your heart is so frozen, you can't feel the warmth of true friendship." Tuxedo Mask informs.
"Feel this!" Kaorinite sends out a blast of dark energy... and surprisingly strikes it on Mini-Moon, forcing her out the window and onto the ground, causing the poor girl to faint.
"Sailor Mini-Moon!" Tuxedo Mask calls.
Kaorinite magically warps to Rini's location and makes her approach once again, but Pluto intervenes by firing her attack at her.
"Aeroblast!" Pluto attacks.
Pluto fires forth a powerful burst of energy charged wind onto Kaorinite. Kaorinite takes the attack and manages to redirect the attack up to the sky. But, it was enough time to distract her and allowing Shadow to warp right near her and attack her with his attack powered by his Chaos Boost.
"Chaos Combat!" Shadow attacks.
Kaorinite quickly senses Shadow's presence, but is forced to defend against his series of chaos powered punches and kicks. He sends Kaorinite back a fair distance.
"Tch..." Kaorinite growls.
"I don't know why you intend on taking Rini's heart, Kaorinite, but now you'll have to go through all of us!" Shadow proclaims.
Pluto approaches Kaorinite, as does Tuxedo Mask, and Sylvester and Tweety.
"Give it up, lady, you're surrounded!" Sylvester insists.
"You don't stand a chance against all of us. We will protect Mini-Moon!" Tweety says.
"Big talk for a bunch of house pets. Hum... Haaaaaaa!" Kaorinite shouts.
Kaorinite does a combination of an explosion of dark energy, affecting everyone with a high amount of damage quickly, and a red pile of smoke, covering their vision. All of them become weakened, and when the smoke clears, Kaorinite has taken Mini-Moon and is flying away with her.
"Ahhhh!" Tuxedo Mask gasps.
"Ohhh, no!" Pluto exclaims.
"Ggggh! No! You won't get away from me, Kaorinite!" Shadow shouts.
Shadow uses Chaos Snap, and attempts to kick her down just before she vanishes, but using dirty tactics, Kaorinite uses Mini-Moon as a shield. He stops just before he attacks her. Kaorinite chuckles and takes that time to send Shadow back hard to the ground with a pulse of dark energy.
"Shadow!" Tuxedo Mask calls.
"What a dirty trick she just pulled!" Tweety comments.
"NOOO! Get back here, Kaoriniiiite!" Shadow demands.
"Hahahahahaha!" Kaorinite laughs, vanishing with Mini-Moon successfully captured. "I've got it! I've got the purest heart!"
"Sailor Mini-Moon..." Tuxedo Mask frowns.
"Rini!" Shadow calls out.
Back to the fight against Cyprine and Ptilol, Mercury and Heart prepare to attack.
Sailor Mercury makes her hand glow light blue.
"Blizzard!" Mercury attacks.
She summons a powerful cold wind onto the two.
Sailor Heart kisses two fingers on one of her hands, then uses its love force to surround herself in a square of pink energy.
"Kissing Amulet Home!" Heart calls.
The pink energy turns into a large number of pink amulets that charge in to attack the two.
Cyprine absorbs the entirety of Mercury's Blizzard. Meanwhile, Ptilol shoots down all of Heart's amulets with a ray of red energy. They use the absorbed energy to do a combined large energy blast against the two.
"Ahhhhh!" Mercury shouts.
"Hang onto me! We'll dodge it!" Heart assures.
Using a small chunk of her energy, Heart gets in front of Mercury and prepares for the attack to come while Mercury takes a hold of Heart's shoulders. As the combined attack impacts, Heart takes her and Mercury, and dodges the attack with incredible high speeds, leaving an afterimage. When the attack ends, Heart and Mercury return to the same positions.
"That was close..." Heart sighs with relief.
"Hahahaha!" Cyprine and Ptilol laugh.
"They're tough enemies!" Jupiter admits.
"We've got to do something, guys." Moon says.
"Do you think the key to their success is their combination?" Mars wonders.
"With their abilities to absorb our attacks and send them back at us with more force, it makes it tough to approach them." Venus realizes.
"In that case, we need to do the divide and conquer strategy!" Heart formulates.
"That's exactly what I was thinking, Sailor Heart!" Mercury agrees.
"I think we had enough fun for now?" Cyprine asks.
"Yes. I think it's time to get serious!" Ptilol agrees.
"We can destroy all of you with one blow if we wanted." The two proclaim.
"Do we have a way of easily separating them?" Heart wonders.
"Leave that to me. We've learned quite a few, fair techniques that, while not as powerful or as useful compared to back then, can still be useful, now!" Mercury volunteers.
"Got it! Here we go, girls!" Heart calls.
"It's all or nothing!" Venus informs.
"Yeah!" Mars agrees.
"Let's do it!" Mercury says.
"We're tougher than you think!" Moon declares.
"With teamwork!" Jupiter exclaims.
The scouts jump into action. Up first, Sailor Mercury uses a classic move that is useful when it's needed.
"Mercury Bubbles... Blast!" Mercury performs.
Mercury fires a barrage of bubbles that forms a white, thick mist across the battlefield. This not only makes it harder for Cyprine and Ptilol to see the scouts, but it also weakens them a bit. Meanwhile, the scouts can easily see where the two are thanks to Mercury pointing it out to them. Though, keeping the mist up and pointing where their enemies are does require Mercury to stay where she's at.
"Feels like you're trying to tickle us!" Cyprine giggles.
"Venus Love Chain Encircle!" Venus attacks.
Venus sends out her love chains to bind them.
"Ptilol." Cyprine calls.
"Cyprine." Ptilol calls.
"Absorption!" The two call.
The two absorb the love chains, which wraps around the top of their wands.
"Moon Tiara Magic!" Another classic, this time from Sailor Moon. She sends her magically charged tiara towards them.
"Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" Sailor Mars summons orbs that held the symbols of sun, moon, star, earth, air, water, fire, and rock, which then turn into rings of fire. They fly towards the two.
They easily absorb both of those attacks as well.
"This is all just a waste of time!" Ptilol figures.
"Did you know that all you're doing is helping our powers increase in strength?" Cyprine informs.
Out of the mist, Jupiter brings down Cyprine, while Heart tackles Ptilol, separating the two.
"Gotcha!" Jupiter sticks her tongue, as she jumps away.
"Why you!" Cyprine gets upset and chases after Jupiter.
"How dare you tackle me-AHHHHHHHH!" Ptilol shouts.
After Heart jumps out of the way, Mars performs a painful Blaze Kick from behind her, attacking her with a powerful flaming kick.
"That's what you get for earlier!" Mars proclaims.
"You!" Ptilol becomes pissed and chases after Mars.
Ptilol flies up and fires rays of red energy at Mars, but she dodges them all.
"You can't run away from me!" Ptilol proclaims.
Jupiter dodges a blow from Cyprine's blue energy blast.
"Hey, come back!" Cyprine calls.
Jupiter jumps back into the deep mists. Cyprine lands on the ground.
"Hmph... coward." Cyprine becomes upset. "Oww!"
Cyprine becomes upset again when she gets pelted by Heart's magic missile in the air.
"Over here!" Heart waves.
"Sailor Scouts, I'll get you good this time!" Cyprine charges her staff for a powerful attack.
Mars manages to get away from Ptilol's line of sight.
"Where did she go! Ouch! Hey!" Ptilol reacts.
With a sphere of metallic energy impacting Ptilol thanks to Sailor Moon's Flash Cannon, she grabs her attention.
"Can't get me!" Moon mocks.
"Wanna bet, Sailor Moon?" Ptilol charges her staff for a powerful attack.
Sailor Moon and Sailor Heart get close to each other, touching each other's backs, as powerful attacks from the two are coming their way.
"Sailor Heart, they're about to fire!" Moon informs.
"I've got this." Heart assures.
Cyprine fires a powerful blast of blue energy to Sailor Heart, while Ptilol fires a powerful blast of red energy to Sailor Moon.
"Now!" Moon calls.
Using an extreme burst of speed, Sailor Heart takes herself and Sailor Moon out of the way of the attack, leaving an afterimage. Instead of attacking the two scouts, they end up attacking each other.
"Cyprine!" Ptilol notices.
"Ptilol!" Cyprine notices.
"AHHHHHHHH!" The two scream.
Their own powers were too much for the two to handle, marking their destructions. The statue of the Sovereign of Silence is destroyed, not only breaking free of the captive heart crystals, but also allows the scouts to return back to their own dimension.
"Yeah!" Moon and Heart high five for their victory.
"We did it!" Venus expresses.
"It was a tough fight." Jupiter says.
They return to their dimension.
"Back to our own dimension!" Heart smiles.
A dark hole suddenly appears, revealing the entrance to Dr. Tomoe's lab. The group gasps upon seeing it.
"What's going on here?" Mars wonders.
"Can you get a reading on that, Mercury?" Moon asks.
"Let me see..." Mercury analyzes the dark hole. After getting a read on it, she detects, "The corridor seems to have a warped space, which leads to... yet another space!"
"I bet it leads to the Heart Snatchers." Jupiter thinks.
"There's only one way to find out. Let's go and check it out!" Heart points.
"Right!" The other scouts agree.
Uranus, Neptune, and Ethan, having arrived at Dr. Tomoe's lab, walk around the area.
"Creepy and jittery. Sounds perfect for an atmosphere of a mad scientist." Ethan describes.
"Look, there's Dr. Tomoe!" Neptune points.
The three stop where Dr. Tomoe is near at, laughing evilly. Hanging above a platform are a bunch of small bells.
"I've been expecting you, Sailor Scouts. And I've especially been looking forward to seeing you, Super Saiyan!" Dr. Tomoe greets.
"Aww, you want to see widdle ol' me, doc? I'm touched!" Ethan jokes.
"At long last, you revealed yourself." Uranus speaks.
"I have been waiting to confront you for a long time, doc. You've been messing with my friends since I've first arrived, and I won't stand for you hurting them any longer!" Ethan cracks his knuckles.
"Ooooh! The big, scary, Super Saiyan is going to beat the ever living crap out of me? I'm sooo scared!" Dr. Tomoe says with a hint of sarcasm.
"Cut the jokes, doctor. We aren't playing around!" Neptune expresses.
"Hahahaha! And neither am I! You're just in time. The celebration's about to begin." Dr. Tomoe proclaims.
"Celebration? For what? You haven't won, yet!" Neptune proclaims.
"Ohh? Haven't I?" Dr. Tomoe grins.
"That's right! I'm definitely certain that all five of your precious Witches have been defeated by our friends by this point. You haven't collected a single Heart Crystal to revive your all mighty Sovereign!" Ethan points out.
"Those five? Ha! I don't need them, anymore... even though I will miss them dearly. I have all that I need right here." Dr. Tomoe says.
"Using what, exactly?" Uranus asks.
"See for yourself." Dr. Tomoe shows.
The lights turn on and shine around the platform, showing the three that it is in fact Mini-Moon's pure heart that will be the offering.
"Sailor Mini-Moon?!" The three exclaim.
Uranus makes a jump towards the doc as she prepares a Focus Punch.
"You better release Mini-Moon right now!" Uranus demands.
Before the potential impact, however, a dark electrical barrier shocks Uranus and stops her at her tracks and forces her back.
"Ohh, no!" Ethan exclaims.
"Uranus!" Neptune calls.
"That's barrier has... really high voltage." Uranus feels.
"Uranus!" The scouts call.
Arriving at the same space as them, the other scouts run over to the group.
"Neptune, Ethan..." Heart says.
"Hmm hmm hmm. I guess you heard about the celebration is well." Dr. Tomoe notices.
"Huh? Who are you?" Moon wonders.
"Do we know you from somewhere?" Heart wonders.
"That's Dr. Tomoe, you guys!" Ethan names.
"Dr. Tomoe?!" Moon and Heart exclaim.
"And what do you mean by celebration?" Mars asks.
"We have the one pure heart that will finally allow us to resurrect the Sovereign!" Dr. Tomoe informs.
"What do you- Ahhhhh! Guys, look!" Venus points.
They see Mini-Moon on the platform.
"Sailor Mini-Moon!" Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus exclaim.
"R-Rini?" Heart shockingly whispers.
"Hahahaha! Kaorinite!" Dr. Tomoe calls over Kaorinite, who warps to him at his beck and call.
"I have arrived, doctor." Kaorinite bows.
"YOU! You're the one who took Mini-Moon's heart, you bastard!" Heart angers.
"My, my... aren't we upset, today? It does look so good on you, though." Kaorinite grins.
"But, I don't get it. I've even made certain that Shadow would be there to make sure that nothing happens to Rini!" Ethan thoughts out.
Warping in time to join the fray, Shadow appears.
"Shadow!" The other Heroes notice.
"I'm sorry, everyone. I tried to get Kaorinite away from Mini-Moon as much as possible, but she outplayed us all. Even using Mini-Moon as a meat shield." Shadow frowns.
"That's horrible! You guys are absolutely the worst!" Ethan yells.
"Whatever it took to achieve our goals, Saiyan." Kaorinite continues to grin.
"But why Mini-Moon's heart?" Moon questions.
"And why only one heart? Considering the amount of trouble you had to do when it came to acquiring the Purity Chalice a while back, what makes you think one heart would be enough to resurrect the Sovereign?" Mercury asks.
"Heh heh heh heh. As a fellow genius, I am obligated to humor you. You see, the Sovereign had been asking for Pure Hearts this whole time. But... every time you scouts and Ultimate Lifeforms ruined our plans, it had me rethink about how to succeed within our goals. Then... it dawns on me. Why go for quantity, when we instead can go for quality?" Dr. Tomoe formulates.
"After all, the girl that houses the Sovereign's body, Hotaru, has made a particularly strong bond with Rini, and also you, Shadow." Kaorinite continues.
"Going after all of your hearts would be of great benefits to us, seeing as how your pure hearts are some of the strongest out there due to being Heroes, but that was far too much of a hassle, especially since all of you have slipped through every single plan we've come up with. So instead, why not go for not only the easiest target, but also one of two strongest targets that will certainly awaken the silence!" Dr. Tomoe continues.
"It's pure irony as its finest, Hahahaha! The bonds that you and Rini did for Hotaru all this time, Shadow, were the fuel needed to awaken the Sovereign in just one fell swoop!" Kaorinite grins.
Dr. Tomoe and Kaorinite evilly laugh, leaving the Heroes feeling down in the dumps.
"The Sovereign of Silence will be ready to awaken very soon, doctor. The pure heart of Rini is all it will take to begin the awakening process." Kaorinite explains.
"I just love the purest heart!" The Sovereign speaks.
"Rini... RINI!" Sailor Moon runs towards Mini-Moon, but becomes quickly stopped by Ethan.
"Don't go, Sailor Moon! There's a powerful barrier that will shock you down, just like what happened with Uranus!" Ethan warns.
"No..." Moon gasps.
Dr. Tomoe laughs as he turns around to see the Sovereign. The Sovereign's eyes glow, ready to begin the snatching.
"Hotaru!" Shadow shouts.
"Hohohoho! Finally, our Sovereign of Silence awakens!" Dr. Tomoe says.
''No... Nooo.' Heart shivers and sobs, thinking about the many warm memories she's made with Rini. 'How could I let this happen? If Rini's heart gets taken, she will... she will DIE!'
Heart shouts in tears as she runs over to Rini, only to get shocked by the barrier.
"Stop, Sailor Heart! There's no use getting through that barrier!" Moon says.
Even through the pain, and ignoring the cries of her friends, she still charges through the barrier. She receives electrical surges down her body, as she continuously bangs on the barrier, attempting to get through.
"Rini! RINI! You let go of Rini, this instant!" Heart shouts tearfully.
The Sovereign creates a glowing, magical hand to try and grab Mini-Moon's heart, but Mini-Moon grabs the hand to try and resist it. She sees what looks like Hotaru and becomes in joy within her heart.
"My friend, Hotaru." Rini smiles faintly. "So glad you're safe and sound. Shadow and I are- Ahhhh... ohhhh..."
The Sovereign successfully takes the pure heart out of her body, making Rini's body turn a pale green.
"NO... STOP!" Shadow shouts.
"Rini!" Sailor Moon cries. "Stop! She's only a child!"
Mini-Moon turns back into Rini.
"Beautiful. This pure heart is exactly what is needed for the Sovereign of Silence!" Dr. Tomoe exclaims.
"No... this world would end if Sailor Saturn is revived!" Uranus quivers in fear.
The Sovereign opens her mouth and gets ready to consume Rini's heart.
"Rini... RINI..." Sailor Heart desperately shouts, who continues to receive a huge shock in her systems while crying out.
The Sovereign swallows Rini's pure heart whole.
"RINIIIIIIIII!" Sailor Heart screams across the entire room.
A giant flash of purple light envelops the entire laboratory briefly. When it dims, the Sovereign fully awakens, but not what the outer scouts thought she would become.
"Wait... WHAT?" Uranus becomes shocked.
"That's not Sailor Saturn!" Neptune points out.
"Hahahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Did you really think I was going all of this way to revive a Sailor Scout? Let alone one that destroys the entire world in an instant? You're bigger fools than I thought you would be. Introduce yourself!" Dr. Tomoe exclaims.
"I'm known as Mistress 9. The Sovereign of Silence." The Sovereign introduces.
"Hmmmhahahahaha!" Dr. Tomoe chuckles.
Lightning begins to form around Mistress 9, indicating her power surge just by a glance. Sailor Heart finally releases herself from the electric surge, and falls to the ground in critical pain.
Everyone else approach the fallen Sailor Heart. Neptune checks her pulse.
"Sailor Heart's in critical condition. She's barely breathing!" Neptune informs.
"Since it is night, I can use the night version of this healing move you taught me, Ethan." Sailor Moon prepares.
Sailor Moon kneels down near Sailor Heart and grasps her hands together. A silhouette of a Moon appears at the top of the building.
"Moonlight." Moon performs.
Her scout symbol appears, replacing her tiara briefly. The moonlight ray that appears on Sailor Heart sparkles and emits a gold hue. The moon's powerful ray steadily restores Sailor Heart's energy.
Meanwhile, the lightning continues to strike, but in a faster succession.
"What is going on, here?" Ethan wonders.
"She's not Sailor Saturn?" Mars questions.
"She's one of the Heart Snatchers. My guess is... she took control of Hotaru from within, and has been feeding on pure hearts until she was strong enough to emerge!" Mercury theorizes.
"We are triumphant, doctor!" Kaorinite smiles.
"I must show my appreciation for all of your help!" Dr. Tomoe praises.
"Ohh, your words are rewarding enough for me, doctor. Thank you for recognizing me. I enjoy being with y-Ahhhhhhhhhh!" Kaorinite screams.
In a twist, Kaorinite becomes struck by one of Mistress 9's lightning strike. Everyone becomes shocked at Kaorinite being tossed away and disappears.
"Ohhh my!" Neptune exclaims.
"She did her job and we have no more use for her." Mistress 9 proclaims.
"I agree, my Mistress!" Dr. Tomoe says.
"Wow... such volatile positions these guys ended up being at. So much for caring about his employees." Ethan scratches his head.
"Makes it all the more better that at least Mimet was free from being trapped." Moon sighs in relief.
"Now, let me take a good look at your enemies, Dr. Tomoe." Mistress 9 says.
She looks well at each of her enemies that are there before her. Two particular faces stand out to her, Ethan and Shadow.
"Ahhhh! Now there's two faces I've recognized. Ethan and Shadow, I presume?" Mistress 9 calls.
"... Huh?" Shadow questions.
"What are you talking about, lady?" Ethan asks.
"... Ohh, I'm sorry. You wouldn't recognize me. My bad. But, I definitely recognize you two... even before you both came in this world." Mistress 9 assures.
"HUH?" The scouts express in total shock.
"Wh-what? What is she... talking about?" Heart faintly speaks.
"Sailor Heart, don't move. I'm trying to heal you." Moon commands.
"R-right..." Heart listens.
"Ohhhh? I didn't know you would be familiar with these two Ultimate Lifeforms, my mistress." Dr. Tomoe says.
"You could say... a portion of my power was unleashable even though I was sealed. You see, years before I would be awakened, and prior to entering the body of this human that I took over, while my body was asleep, and thus unable to do much in this world, I was able to do things in other worlds. Worlds many eons away from this one, even. And what I discovered in my travels was shocking... an entire Space Colony and a world that's surprisingly similar to this one. It's an Earth, so to speak, only with vastly different kinds of creatures around it." Mistress 9 explains.
"You know about the Space Colony?" Ethan asks.
"And about your creator, Professor Gerald Robotnik. I knew about his frail granddaughter, about the discoveries that he's made thanks to the orders of the government of that world, and of your creations. I saw the whole thing. About the reasons and purpose that he created you two. And... that it was all for the sake and well being of humanity. I couldn't stand such creations trying to be beneficial for mankind, no matter what world I was in. So, I performed some magic, and made things terrible for you two while you were watching over the Professor's granddaughter." Mistress 9 continues.
"Terrible? What are you talking about?" Shadow asks.
"You know how the government, who found out about the creations of you two, named you as threats and went out to purge everyone on the Space Colony ARK? Well... I did it. I was the one who manipulated the government into getting rid of you two!" Mistress 9 reveals.
"WHAT? You did that?" Ethan jumps in shock.
"That's right! Your precious Maria? Died due to my manipulation. It was an 'unfortunate' side effect of ridding you two, but it was worth it!" Mistress 9 grins.
"You... YOU! You're responsible for the death of Maria?" Shadow says in an upsetting tone.
"It was merely icing on the cake. Of course, I didn't expect that she would sacrifice her own life to send you two off to other, safe places where I couldn't reach you. Ohh, well. It was still fun to cause havoc! Hahahahaha!" Mistress 9 laughs.
"No... that can't be true!" Jupiter calls.
"She's the reason why Ethan and Shadow suffered... why they lost their original homes." Venus says.
"Ethan..." Uranus frowns.
"Why do all of that? What was the point when it had nothing to do with what was going on here?" Heart asks.
"Simple, really. You two... have the powers of those Chaos Emeralds. They can manipulate time and space. And because of such power, there was a chance that one or even both of you... would come to this world and meddle with my plans. And I was right all along. If it wasn't that for that girl's intervention, I would have gotten rid of you two... and have had a much better chance of my ambitions coming to life!" Mistress 9 says.
"Maria... no..." Shadow shivers and sobs.
"..." Ethan expresses incredible shock, not believing that Mistress 9 was the reason why everything that was going right for the two... all crumbled down.
"To think that this entire time, the ultimate reason why Ethan and Shadow lost everything... wasn't what they thought it would be, but was actually part of a mastermind of someone else from another world!" Neptune comments.
"No words can describe the brilliance of thinking this many steps ahead, my Mistress." Dr. Tomoe says.
"..." Ethan becomes seething in anger.
"..." After shedding a few tears, Shadow also succumbs into anger.
The entire ground shakes with massive power. The scouts become surprised by the great power that comes within them. Sailor Moon stops healing Sailor Heart because of it.
"Hmmm?" Dr. Tomoe wonders.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ethan and Shadow scream, triggering their powerful transforms.
Ethan becomes Super Saiyan 2, and for the first time with the others, Shadow turns Super.
The ground stops shaking as the girls gasp at their sudden power burst.
"Ethan is pissed off..." Uranus notices.
"And look at Shadow..." Venus points out.
"He can turn Super, too?" Heart wonders.
"Unbelievable..." Moon becomes in awe.
Ethan and Shadow gather tons of energy into their hands. Ethan is preparing a Super Kamehameha, while Shadow prepares a Chaos Hyper Beam.
"You're pay..." Ethan shouts.
"... for what you did to Maria!" Shadow shouts.
"TWILIGHT RAY!" The two shout together.
The two combine their attacks, creating a light and dark colored beam that has incredible piercing properties.
After clashing against it for a few seconds, the Ray shatters past the barrier and quickly pierces towards Mistress 9.
"Mistress!" Dr. Tomoe gasps.
Just before the impact, Mistress 9 withstands the power of the attack with her massive power. With just enough force, she sends the attack right back at them. And unfortunately for the two, they take the brunt of their own attacks, sending them back with major damage taken, and returning them back to their normal states.
"Ethan, Shadow!" The scouts call out.
"No..." Ethan faintly says before passing out.
"Maria... Ho...taru." Shadow also passes out.
"Now that those two are out of the picture for now, Dr. Tomoe, let's start preparing for the next stage." Mistress 9 suggests.
With her power, she sends a huge burst of energy to teleport the two out of there, and to begin crumbling the lab.
"Rini!" Sailor Moon approaches the fallen Rini.
"R-Rini..." Heart slowly gets up. She stumbles over until she makes it to see Rini's face. Tears fall in her eyes. "Rini..."
"Hurry, the space is about to vanish. We have to get out, right now!" Uranus warns.
"But both Ethan and Shadow are knocked out. How are we suppose to escape?" Mars asks.
Heart slowly brings out her Maiden's Gohei.
"I... I'm sorry, everyone!" Heart sobs.
"Huh?" The other scouts turn to Heart.
"I... made you all worry about me... for stupidly hurting myself... trying to reach out to Rini. But I promise... with the help of those girls... I'll get you all out of here!" Heart vows.
"Sailor Heart..." Moon clasps her hands.
"Heart Elegant Power!" Heart shouts, transforming her into her Super state.
"What will Sailor Heart be doing?" Mercury wonders.
"I don't know. But she really needs to hurry. There's not much time, left!" Mars hopes.
Super Sailor Heart's body glows purple, as she focuses hard.
"Come on... I need... to focus. Focus on... my destination. And c-create... a gap... just like... Yukari." Super Heart wobbles a bit, but still focuses.
A few more seconds, a shout from Super Sailor Heart magically tears open a large gap, leading just outside of the Mugen School building. Super Heart breathes heavily, feeling a bit weakened after performing that move.
"Is that...?" Venus wonders.
"Yes. I'm not sure how she did it, but Super Sailor Heart created a boundary gap. This tear in space should allow us all to escape, now." Mercury analyzes.
"Good. Let's grab Ethan, Shadow, and Rini, and get out of here." Uranus suggests.
"You two grab Ethan. The four of us will secure Shadow. Sailor Moon, make sure Sailor Heart and Rini are safe." Mars plans.
"You got it, Mars!" Moon agrees.
Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter grab Shadow's body and carry him out into the gap.
"Head to the gap, Super Sailor Heart. I'll get Rini." Moon suggests.
"No, please... let me carry... Rini." Super Heart pants.
"You're too weakened, though." Moon denies.
"Please... I need to do this, Sailor Moon. I know she's your future daughter, but... I just..." Super Heart shivers.
"Let's compromise, then. You carry Rini, and I'll make sure both of you get out safely. Deal?" Moon offers.
"Deal." Super Heart agrees.
By this point, Uranus and Neptune got Ethan out into the gap. Super Sailor Heart takes a hold of Rini, looks down at her for a few seconds, then Sailor Moon escorts them both out into the gap.
With energy flushing across the top portions of the Mugen School building, it quickly builds into a huge explosion.
Just outside of the building are Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Pluto, Luna, Artemis, Sylvester, and Tweety... who had escorted the people that were hypnotized, out of the building safely, and who are waiting for the others to get out.
"What's going on?" Tuxedo Mask asks.
"Oh no, everyone is still inside!" Luna realizes.
"Please be okay..." Tweety hopes.
The gap Super Sailor Heart created appears before them. First off, Shadow, and the scouts that carry him, gets out.
"Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus!" Luna calls.
"Shadow? What happened to him?" Pluto gasps.
"He's not the only one who's injured." Mercury informs.
Next to come out are Uranus and Neptune, carrying Ethan out.
"Uranus, Neptune!" Artemis calls.
"Ohhh, Ethan! He's hurt, too?" Pluto worries.
"Yeah. It's a long story." Uranus informs.
"What about Sailor Moon? And Sailor Heart?" Luna wonders.
Coming out of the gap are Sailor Moon, and Sailor Heart who is carrying Rini. The gap behind them closes.
"Sailor Moon, you made it!" Tuxedo Mask says.
"You don't look so good, Sailor Heart." Artemis notices.
"Rini looks worse, though..." Super Heart frowns.
"Rini?" Luna wonders.
"Her heart got stolen... And we couldn't save her..." Super Heart sobs.
Tuxedo Mask, Pluto, and the pets become shocked, then become sad.
"Darien, we have to do something. Rini's not breathing!" Moon informs.
"If we don't do something... she'll die. I... I don't know if I can go on if we lose Rini..." Super Heart cries.
The crumbling around the Mugen School building is getting worse.
"We should get out of this area. It's too dangerous to stay here." Pluto says.
"But, what about the students?" Mercury worries.
"Don't worry, we got them out. Let's go!" Artemis calls.
Everyone retreats out of the crumbling building.
"Everyone, let's head to our place. We can take care of everyone that's injured there." Uranus suggests.
"Thanks a bunch, Uranus!" Moon smiles.
The whole gang ends up at Amara and Michelle's place. The only ones who are still in their scout form appearances are Sailor Moon and Sailor Pluto.
Sailor Moon uses her Moonlight to heal up Shadow, this time using the energy from the real Moon. Sailor Pluto uses Heal Pulse, which sends pulses of healing energy, on Thomas. Feeling completely exhausted today, Tina sleeps on a couch chair, with a blanket provided by Michelle. As for Rini, to keep her alive, Darien slowly tributes his energy to keep her life energy flowing around her body.
"Whew. Today has been absolutely exhausting." Michelle says.
"You're telling me. It was heartbreaking seeing Tina completely breakdown when Rini's heart was taken out of her body. Honestly, I would be the same, if not for that barrier." Moon ponders.
"And poor Thomas and Shadow, despite giving it their all, could not do much against Mistress 9." Mina frowns.
"It was impressive that they managed to shatter that barrier, though." Amy notices.
"Only because of their anger. They lost it when they found out that it was her that basically was the reason why they lost Maria." Amara recalls.
"I've felt Thomas's anger, today. To have to lose someone who was like a sister to you..." Sylvester feels.
"It's basically the same for Tina with Rini, puddy tat. But, I felt her sadness more." Tweety feels.
"We all felt sad and a bit angry for the loss of Rini's pure heart." Luna thinks.
"Beyond just being Serena and Darien's future daughter, and that she's a kid, each of us have something that they admire or adore about her. Some more than others." Artemis says.
"Ohhh, Rini, I'm so worried about you. Darien, how is Rini doing?" Moon asks.
"She appears to be stabilizing thanks to Darien's energy." Luna sees.
"Darien's life energy will keep her alive." Artemis assures.
"At the very least, her color is coming back." Darien notices.
"Ohhh... what have we been fighting for, anyway? It's all our fault Rini is in this horrible danger." Moon sheds a few tears.
"Rini..." Tina mumbles.
"Huh?" Moon briefly turns to Tina, who is dreaming of Rini and her being happy.
"Rini... you want some pie...? Mmhmm. Serena and I will... bake you some. Mother and... sister..." After mumbles, she goes back to a silent sleep.
"Tina has such a strong sibling bond with Rini, just as I have a strong maternal bond with her. Ohh, Tina..." Moon smiles.
"You and Tina baking together? Are you sure the 'dream you' won't mess anything up?" Raye jokes.
"I can't be a screw up every time, Raye! ... Maybe I should practice cooking more so that Tina and I can actually bake a pie for Rini, for real." Moon desires.
Some of the scouts giggle.
"While it is nice to see you all trying to cheer up, I think we need to talk about what to do next with Mistress 9." Amara figures.
"Shouldn't we wait until everyone wakes up? We will need Tina, Shadow, and Thomas's help for this." Pluto asks.
"Unng..." Thomas grumbles.
"Thomas?" Pluto calls and stops her healing.
"Did somebody call for me?" Thomas smiles.
Amara and Michelle run over to where Thomas was sleeping at. Thomas lays up.
"Thomas, you're awake!" Amara says.
"Thank goodness you're okay!" Michelle says.
"Come on, you two, I'm a Saiyan! It'll take more than a powerful reflected attack to bring us down. Speaking of which... how's Shadow doing?" Thomas asks.
"... Nnnnngh." Shadow slowly wakes.
"Speaking of Shadow, he's waking up!" Moon notices, ending her move.
"... Sailor Moon?" Shadow opens his eyes.
"Hey, brother, you okay?" Thomas calls.
"More or less. Umm... where are we?" Shadow asks.
"This is mine and Michelle's home. Everyone's here by the way." Amara informs.
"Everyone? ... Ohhh, Rini!" Thomas notices Rini.
"Please tell me Rini's okay..." Shadow asks.
"Don't worry for right now. I'm giving her my life energy to keep her alive." Darien informs.
"That's good." Shadow says.
"Looks like we're done. I can finally rest..." Sailor Moon sits on the couch, changing back into Serena.
"Agreed." Pluto nods, changing back into Trista.
"Umm... is Tina asleep?" Thomas asks.
"She's sound asleep, Thomas. She had a big day." Tweety says.
"We all did. But man... talk about a revelation!" Thomas rubs his head.
"To think... that Mistress 9 is the one who ended up causing Maria's death. Maria was already in poor conditions as it was. Mistress 9 was the one who... who screwed with our lives, brother!" Shadow realizes.
"Yeah... and yet, despite that being the case, it's not Hotaru who caused that. And we still need to save her." Thomas realizes.
"And now, we need to get Rini's heart back." Shadow adds.
"How are we going to beat someone who is that crazy powerful? She seems near unstoppable!" Raye wonders.
"There's one thing we have not done, yet, though." Trista says.
"What's that?" Thomas asks.
"All of us, every single one of us, combining our powers together." Trista informs.
"... So, the nine of us Sailor Scouts plus the two Ultimate Lifeforms and Tuxedo Mask?" Serena counts.
"And us, too, Serena!" Tweety speaks.
"Miracles have happened when we all come together." Amy recalls.
"And now that we have more of us together, we're even stronger!" Shadow comments.
"Especially with you, Shadow. You didn't tell us that you can go Super, too!" Lita says.
"I told Ethan that I can go Super without the need of the Chaos Emeralds. That power was not needed until recently. Using it, however, requires good timing on my end." Shadow informs.
"What do you mean?" Michelle asks.
"If I run out of energy while being Super, I lose a lot of energy when I come out of Super, basically making this transformation a last resort of mine. That negative side effect doesn't happen when I use the Chaos Emeralds. But, my brother does need them more than I do." Shadow explains.
"It feels like I haven't tapped into the full power of the Emeralds as of yet. There are still more possibilities within me..." Thomas ponders.
"Well, I guess we wait until another time. We all had a rough day, today." Amara says.
"Wait another time, Amara?" Thomas wonders.
"I want for us to talk about what to do about Mistress 9." Amara desires.
"I do agree with what Trista said, though. We must all work together if we are to defeat Mistress 9. At the same time, we must all not only get Rini's pure heart back, but also save Hotaru. Does everybody agree with that?" Serena asks.
Nods and confirmations from each person and pet are made.
"I know Tina would be 100 percent on board with this." Thomas assures.
"Good." Serena nods with a smile.
'One thing's for certain. We'll all be heading back to Mugen School. I hope that we can do this. And if necessary... I may need to use my full power against our enemies.' Trista ponders.
The entire group rests for the night at Amara and Michelle's place.
