"Thanks for babysitting," Owen said as he carried Allison into Evelyn's living room.

"Nikki will help me," Evelyn smiled.

"Where is she? Her car isn't here," Owen observed.

"She went to see a couple friends for coffee," Evelyn replied.

"She's up to driving," Owen asked.

"She was nervous but her leg felt okay today," Evelyn said, "she's weight bearing on it most of the time,"

"What's next," Owen asked.

"Six weeks and she can go back to the studio," Evelyn said, "barre work only for a couple weeks then slowly build up to center and pointe work."

"Can she do it," Owen asked.

"She knows how," Evelyn replied, "that was never the question. It's re training the muscle. What did your friend say about her ankle?"

"Not much he could do," Owen said, "the risk of further damage is too great for him to open up and try to release the tendons."

"Are you telling her," Evelyn asked.

"Graham is going to call her," Owen said.

"What's your plan for tonight," Evelyn asked.

"I'm proposing," Owen said, "it's time mom."

"It is," Evelyn agreed, "you've known her 7 or 8 years now. Allison is how old?"

"10 months," Owen said, " the ring is here in my old room so Teddy wouldn't find it."

"Go get it," Evelyn said, "do I need to do anything?"

"I've got stuff for Allison to be here overnight. Teddy will notice but once I ask her she won't mind," Owen said.

"How are you going to do this," Evelyn asked.

"I have a plan," Owen smiled, "we will tell you if she says yes."

"She will," Evelyn promised.

"I hope so," Owen said, "this time feels different."

"It's Teddy," Evelyn smiled, "she loves you. She's part of our family. Owen Teddy will say yes. I've seen the two of you together. You are meant to be. She gets you. Owen Teddy loves you and understands you. She is going to say yes."

"This is more than my girlfriend though," Owen said, "she's the mother of my daughter. There's nothing I don't tell her. She was with me on two of the worst days of my life. Instead of running away from me when things are hard she stays there. I run and she comes and finds me."

"Tell her," Evelyn said.

"Tonight," Owen said, "are you sure you're okay with Allison?"

"I am," Evelyn said, "I don't get enough time with her. Leave Ally here overnight. I don't want to see you until tomorrow morning."

"Mom," Owen said.

"Allison is happy with her grandma and auntie Nikki," Evelyn said, "let me enjoy being grandma tonight."

"Thanks mom," Owen smiled, "I'm going to get the ring and go."

"Have fun tonight Owen," Evelyn said as he left, "she'll say yes."

Teddy came home to a note from Owen on the counter, "I'll be home soon. Just dropping Allison at mom's for the night. It's date night."

Teddy wondered what date night meant. Owen had arranged to have his mom take Allison overnight. She decided to go all out. They had never had a true date. Teddy hopped in the shower and quickly shaved her legs before washing her hair. She dried and straightened her hair before putting on her makeup. She grabbed a blue dress she hadn't worn before from her closet. She had bought the dress right before she found out she was pregnant and had never had a chance to wear it. She paired the dress with black heels and the neclace Owen had given her for her birthday. She wondered why he was suddenly planning a date night without their daughter.

Teddy was standing at the counter taking a sip of water when Owen came in dressed in a suit.

"Wow," Owen said, "you look amazing."

"You don't clean up too bad yourself major," Teddy beamed.

Owen handed her a bouquet of roses, "these are for you my love."

"Owen these are gorgeous," Teddy said reaching for a vase in the cupboard above the sink, she filled it with water and set the roses in it.

"Shall we," Owen smiled offering Teddy his hand.

"I need my coat," Teddy replied smiling at Owen.

Owen took her black wool coat from the closet and helped her put it on. He lead her to the car and drove to the restaurant.

"Owen," Teddy questioned, "here this is one of the fanciest restaurants in seattle?"

"Yes," Owen said taking her hand and leading her inside.

"Hunt for two," Owen said to the girl at the hostess stand.

They were lead to a table with a view over the water.

"Owen this is amazing," Teddy gushed.

"This is our night Teddy," Owen said, "just the two of us."

The waiter poured both of them a glass of wine. They chatted a bit about their days and Teddy's frustration with teaching Christina Yang.

"What's next for us," Teddy wondered.

"You, me, Allison," Owen smiled, he wasn't ready to propose yet, he had a plan a perfect Teddy proposal.

"What are we doing Owen," Teddy asked before sipping her second glass of wine.

"Being us," Owen said, "together, with our daughter."

"What are we doing about the apartment," Teddy asked, "are we going to stay?"

"I was thinking maybe we could start looking for a house," Owen said, "you always wanted the white picket fence."

"Three or four bedrooms," Teddy suggested.

"More kids," Owen asked.

"I've always pictured three or four," Teddy admitted.

"So have I," Owen agreed, "soon?"

"Allison isn't one yet," Teddy said, "maybe when she's closer to two we could try?"

"When ever your ready Teddy," Owen smiled.

"I love our life," Teddy sighed.

"So do I," Owen smiled.

They finished their dinner and headed outside.

"I thought we could get coffee and walk along the water," Owen suggested.

"Allison," Teddy said.

"My mom is keeping her overnight," Owen said, "tonight we're not mommy and daddy. Tonight we're just us."

"Did you take enough milk," Teddy asked.

"Probably too much," Owen said, "what you had in the fridge plus some frozen in case."

"She's ten months already," Teddy sighed.

"She's getting big," Owen agreed.

They grabbed coffee and strolled along the water front. After sitting on a bench for a while Owen put his cup down and got on one knee.

"Owen," Teddy asked eyes wide.

"Teddy," Owen began, "you are the love of my life. You stuck with me on my worst days and came to find me when I thought I was lost. I love falling asleep with you at night and waking up with you in the morning. Teddy you are my best friend, my soulmate and the other half of me. With you things are real and you make me feel things no one else ever has. Teddy I want to spend the rest of our lives together. I love you more than I could ever say. Theodora Altman will you marry me?"

"Yes," Teddy screamed, "Owen Hunt I will marry you. I love you."

Owen slipped the ring on Teddy's finger before kissing her passionately.
