Chapter 34….
Back in Milltown Carly was cleaning up in the kitchen when Rosanna walked in;" What a surprise to see J.J. back again, isn't it?"
"Yes, it was." replied her sister with a faint smile;" It's been a week full of surprises."
"Is J.J. staying for good?" asked Rosanna;" Isn't he going back to England again, Carly?"
"No, he doesn't want to go back. And to be honest I'm glad he wants to come again because I have really missed him." answered she;" Now I have all of my kids home again."
"And me too." smiled her sister as she gave Carly a hug;" And with any luck Jack will be home with you again soon as well."
"I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath on that one." sighed Carly;" I doubt if Janet will let him go without putting up a fight, Rosanna."
"Do you really want to wait until he is divorced before you let him come back?" said she surprised;" What would be the difference?"
"Once Jack is divorced he's all mine again." answered her sister softly;" Then we can put all of this mess behind us and start fresh again."
"Well…if that nasty woman won't give Jack a divorce soon I will have a talk with her and change her mind about that one way or another." promised Rosanna;" If Jack is what you want then Jack is what you will get."
"Thanks, rosebud. But I'm sure that Tom will be able to sort this all out." laughed she and hugged Rosanna again;" I'm so happy that you're back again."
At that moment the doorbell rang. When Carly went to open up the door she was stunned to find Janet on her doorstep;" Hello, Carly."
"What do you want?" asked she with a sigh, not in the mood to be dealing with her ex's wife;" Jack isn't here."
"Then you can give him a message for me!" replied her ex-husband's wife with a nasty smile while she ripped up the divorce-papers that she had in her hand and threw them at Carly;" Tell Jack that it will be a cold day in hell before I sign those papers. There's no way that I'm letting him go back to you!"
"You have a lot of nerve showing up here!" said Carly angry and noticed Janet's bruised nose;" Did you run into a door?"
"No, I didn't run into a door. Your nasty cousin did that damn it!" scolded she;" Just give Jack the message!"
"Do you really think that you can just show up here and order me around!" began her husband's ex furious and for a moment she looked ready to attack the woman infront of her when Rosanna showed up in the doorway and pulled her back.
"She isn't worth the energy!" said Rosanna to her sister before turning towards Janet;" If you want to talk to Jack I suggest you go out to the farm or to the police station. Don't ever come back here again or you might end up being sorry that you did!"
"Go to hell!" yelled she and stormed off;" All of you!"
"That woman…!" muttered Carly still upset as she sat down on the couch while Rosanna closed the door;" I don't blame Molly for hitting her."
"Molly hit her?" asked her sister shocked;" When, Carly? And why exactly?"
"I don't know, Rosanna. I just heard it from that woman just now." answered she with a sigh;" But I'm going to find out I promise you that!"
