Carly and Eli had arrived in a large cavern. It was made of bright-blue crystal and extended upwards quite a bit.
"What's this place?" asked Carly as she leaned to look over the edge of the platform.
"Look out!" Eli raced forwards and yanked Carly back.
"What was that-?" started Carly.
*Foosh!*
A huge amount of fire raced up out of the blackness and infused the air.
The platform had some kind of force shield around it that was stopping the fire from reaching the two Rider Girls.
The barriers came up.
A new type of Drone Grongi arrived on Carly's side of the barrier.
She looked like a Wolf Drone Grongi. Only her first patch showed a white rhino. Meanwhile, her other patch displayed four strips. She was armed with a pair of sword shaped swords.
She is a White Rhino Drone Grongi.
"Let's go!" called Carly.

Carly scanned the Rising Cataphract Tablet over the Kuuga Driver's light. RISING THRALL! The light turned bright-purple with a bronze outline as she held the Tablet up. "HENSHIN!" then she placed it into the Tablet Slot. TRANSLATING! Bright-purple energy and bright-bronze light covered her body. THE DEFENCE RISES IN TOUGHNESS! The energy dispelled, revealing Rider Girl Darkest, Rising Thrall Emblem. WHEN I BLOCK, EVIL FAILS!
Darkest pressed in on the Rising Thrall Tablet six times. SIXTH TRANSLATION! She shot forwards with a shoulder tackle. The White Rhino Drone Grongi crossed her swords. Darkest impacted them and she slashed down, breaking the charge and cutting through the Rider Girl.
Darkest pressed in on the Rising Thrall Tablet five times. FIFTH TRANSLATION! She blocked with her right gauntlet and then threw a left hook, smashing it into the Drone Grongi's shoulder and making her spin.
The Drone Grongi used her spin to slash Darkest through the chest plate twice. Darkest pressed in on the Rising Thrall Tablet four times. FOURTH TRANSLATION! She punched forwards, sending both of her gauntlets shooting off, the Drone Grongi was sent flying back.
She landed on the ground and charged. Darkest pressed in on the Rising Thrall Tablet seven times. FINAL TRANSLATION! Bright-purple energy exploded out of her body as she slammed her fist into the ground. "TREMORS!" roared Darkest at the top of her voice. A shockwave of energy surged out of her fist and destroyed the White Rhino Drone Grongi, who charged right into the shockwave.
Darkest removed the Rising Thrall Tablet from the Kuuga Driver's Tablet Slot. "DE-HENSHIN!" she was covered in a blast of bright-purple and bright-bronze energy that transformed her back into Carly.

Meanwhile, eight Fly Drone Grongi's appeared on Eli's side of the barrier.
"Here we go," ordered Eli number one.
"Yay!" cheered Eli number five.

Eli number five pressed the button on the Lightning Thunderbird Progrise Key. LIGHTNING STORM! She scanned it over the Hiden Guard Driver's scanner. LOG IN! There was a loud scream as the giant mechanical thunderbird flew around Eli number five. Eli number five flipped open the Key. "HENSHIN!" she slid the Lightning Thunderbird Progrise Key into the slot in the right side of the Hidden Guard Driver. PROGRISE! The centre arrow moved so that it was covering the left arrow. THE LIGHTNING SHOCKS THE HIGHEST OBJECT AS THE BIRD FLIES! The thunderbird wrapped around Eli number five and merged with her. LIGHTNING THUNDERBIRD! Transforming Eli Number Five into Rider Girl Lightning. WINGS SOAR AND CREATE A FLASH OF THUNDER!
Eli number one drew the Inferno Lion Progrise Key and hit the button. INFERNO FIRE! She scanned it over the Hiden Guard Driver's scanner. LOG IN! There was a loud crash as the raging mechanical tiger landed behind Eli number one. Eli number one flipped open the Key, so that the circle was the right way up while the rest of it was the wrong way up, the key showed a skeleton of a lion. "HENSHIN!" she slid the Inferno Lion Progrise Key into the slot in the right side of the Hidden Guard Driver. PROGRISE! The centre arrow moved so that it was covering the left arrow, revealing a pitch-black circle under it was a circle-shaped hole in the centre. A BOMB'S BLAST GROWS INTO A RAGING INFERNO! The lion ran around before rushing at Eli number one and fusing with her. INFERNO LION! Transforming her into Rider Girl Inferno. AN ENDLESS FLAME MELTS HER FOES! S
Lightning pressed the key in her belt three times. LIGHTNING DEFENCE DANCE! She leapt forwards into a front flip kick as pink lightning covered her right boot. Her boot crushed the first Fly Drone Grongi and the lightning discharge fried the second one.
Lightning took the Lightning Thunderbird Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it shut. Then she hit its button. LIGHTNING STORM! She loaded it into the Lightning Daggers's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! LIGHTNING THUNDERBIRD'S ABILITY! Bright-pink lightning covered the daggers as Lightning held the trigger down. CHARGE RISE! The daggers glowed as they reached the second charged level. FIRST CHARGE! Then the daggers glowed more as they reached the second charge level. SUPER CHARGE RISE! Then Lightning let go of the trigger. ADVANCED CHARGE! Lightning shot into the air and came down with a double stab. LIGHTNING DISPATCH VENT! Destroying the third and fourth Fly Drone Grongis.
Inferno pressed the key in her belt three times. INFERNO DEFENCE DANCE! She leapt forwards into a right spinning kick. Her blazing foot tore through the fifth and sixth Fly Drone Grongis.
Inferno took the Inferno Lion Progrise Key from her belt and snapped it shut. Then she hit its button. INFERNO FIRE! She loaded it into the Fire Sword's Keyhole. PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE! INFERNO LION'S ABILITY! Bright-red fire covered the sword as Inferno held the trigger down. CHARGE RISE! The sword glowed as it reached the second charged level. FIRST CHARGE! Then the sword glowed more as it reached the second charge level. SUPER CHARGE RISE! Then Inferno let go of the trigger. ADVANCED CHARGE! Inferno slashed to the right and then to the left, firing two waves of fire. INFERNO DISPATCH VENT! Destroying the final two Fly Drone Grongis.

Battle ended!
"What was that?!" shouted Carly as she jumped to another platform.
"I have no idea," replied Eli as she jumped.
Carly grabbed her hand and pulled her the rest of the way.
"All I know is that we are getting closer to Esdeath's chamber, so we can expect a lot of traps," explained Eli.
Carly dodged to the right as the crystal clanged shut in what looked like a bear trap. "I see what you mean!"
The barriers came up.
Eight Porcupine Drone Grongi's appeared on Carly's side of the barrier.
"Let's go!" called Carly.

Rider Girl Darkest pressed in on the Rising Philomath Tablet once. FIRST TRANSLATION! She swung her arm down, firing a hammer of energy. It crushed a pair of shields and the two Porcupine Drone Grongi's they were attached to.
Rider Girl Darkest pressed in on the Rising Philomath Tablet twice. SECOND TRANSLATION! She swung her arm down, firing a blade of energy, cutting through two more Porcupine Drone Grongis that had been charging at her.
Rider Girl Darkest pressed in on the Rising Philomath Tablet seven times. FINAL TRANSLATION! She was covered in bright-green energy and bright-bronze light. She threw both gloves forwards, firing a wall of energy and light, it crushed the final two Porcupine Drone Grongis.
Darkest removed the Rising Philomath Tablet from the Kuuga Driver's Tablet Slot. "DE-HENSHIN!" she was covered in a blast of bright-green and bright-bronze energy that transformed her back into Carly.

Carly followed her, but she was a bit slower and her right foot was covered in fire.
"Carly, are you okay?!" shouted Hanayo.
"Yeah, just give me a sec to heal," replied Carly.
The barriers came up.
A new type of Grongi arrived.
She looked like a White Rhino Drone Grongi. But her second patch showed three stars and two lines.
She is a White Rhino Grongi.
