Ethan: It's time we all come together and storm the Heart Snatchers base one last time.
PDR: They'll be pulling out all of the stops, but so will we.
Ethan: This even leads into some unexpected twists and turns along our path. Let's do this!
Chapter 33
The Great Scout Unity! Revelation of Saturn!
After sleeping in Amara and Michelle's the previous night, everyone gathers around to discuss what to do, today.
"Rini is in critical danger. As such, Darien, you should head to your house to continue giving Rini your energy." Thomas suggests.
"I'll use Chaos Control to warp you there in an instant." Shadow offers.
"I appreciate it, Shadow. And I'll do all I can for Rini." Darien agrees.
"Send us there, too, Shadow." Luna suggests.
"Neither Luna or I have any abilities that could help you all, directly. And we want you all to give it 100 perfect in your final battles at Mugen School." Artemis says.
"Very well." Shadow agrees.
"The rest of us will head straight into Mugen School." Amara says.
"Would it be beneficial to split into two teams?" Michelle suggests.
"No. This time, we need all of us there at the same time. If we are going to stand any chance at taking down Mistress 9, we must combine our efforts." Thomas disagrees.
"I agree with Thomas. It's now or never!" Trista nods.
"Everyone, it's time to unite as one true team. For our power of love!" Serena rallies.
"YEAH!" Everyone cheers.
"Uranus Star Power!" Amara becomes Sailor Uranus.
"Neptune Star Power!" Michelle becomes Sailor Neptune.
"Pluto Star Power!" Trista becomes Sailor Pluto.
With a push of a button on his watch, Thomas becomes Ethan.
"Heart Crystal Power!" Tina becomes Sailor Heart.
"Venus Star Power!" Mina becomes Sailor Venus.
"Jupiter Star Power!" Lita becomes Sailor Jupiter.
"Mars Star Power!" Raye becomes Sailor Mars.
"Mercury Star Power!" Amy becomes Sailor Mercury.
"Moon Cosmic Power!" Lastly, Serena becomes Sailor Moon, completing the transformations.
"It's so cool seeing everyone transforming and becoming stronger!" Sylvester admires.
"I wonder what we would look like becoming stronger like that..." Tweety ponders.
"It's go time, team!" Shadow anticipates.
Mistress 9 and Dr. Tomoe look out into the regions of space, as they are anticipating something... something very sinister.
"At last, a new era of darkness is close at hand. Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm!" Dr. Tomoe chuckles. "All we're missing is the Purity Chalice. Once you have it in your possession, you set it down in this special device, and you shall reign in glory as gloom for the arrival of Pharaoh 90, ruler of different dimensions!"
"Ohhhh..." Mistress 9 moans.
"It's going to be splendid. The forces of light that do right, will be banished forever, taking a backseat as we ride the Pharaoh's wave of silence at night! Beautiful darkness. The universe will finally return to its rightful ruler. The Purity Chalice is all we need to roll out the red carpet for our master and change the future, forever! Mwahahahahahaha!" Dr. Tomoe laughs.
"..." The mistress appears to show signs of weakness within her.
"Those who would stand in our way will fall into obscurity. Only our powerful force will rule! Our treachery and nastiness will pay off, and not even the sailor scouts or those Ultimate Lifeforms can stop us. Hahahahahaha! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Dr. Tomoe laughs more.
What's this? An even bigger threat that our Heroes have to worry about? It just keeps getting worse.
Back at his house thanks to Shadow, Darien continues tributing his life energy so that Rini can stay alive.
The Heroes that are heading back to Mugen School consist of Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Heart, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, alongside Ethan, Shadow, Sylvester, and Tweety.
"We've got to settle it this time, you guys." Mars informs.
"Right. Rini's counting on us." Venus agrees.
"And Hotaru, too. We've got to save them both!" Mercury adds.
"This is the biggest test we've ever faced. We gotta do it for love and justice." Jupiter says.
"For all of the animals out there..." Sylvester says.
"And all of the precious life that blooms around our world..." Tweety adds.
"We have to win in the name of our future!" Heart rallies.
"We can't let the Sovereign of Silence rise. Our future depends on us!" Uranus says.
"We must believe in our powers. By settling on minds into it, we'll succeed!" Neptune adds.
"Everything we've fought for is as stake." Pluto informs.
"No matter what happens, we must fight on until the very end, even should many obstacles stand in our way!" Ethan exclaims.
"Hotaru, for your sake, and for Maria... we will avenge you both!" Shadow desires.
"We are not gonna let you down, Rini. That's our promise as family!" Moon assures.
"We... are... ONE!" Everyone shouts.
As our Heroes approach Mugen School, Mistress 9 senses the energy of the Purity Chalice approaching them.
'They'll be no more sacrifices...' Moon desires.
"The Purity Chalice... is coming ever closer." Mistress 9 senses.
"Are you sure?" Dr. Tomoe asks.
"... Like a moth fluttering into flame, it will come at my bidding." Mistress 9 assures.
"Hahahahaha! Your wait is drawing to a close, then!" Dr. Tomoe figures.
Mistress 9, feeling tired, says, "Yes, ahhhhh! ... But until I am completely restored, no one must come and disturb my rest. I must be protected, doctor."
While resting, a sudden surge of dark energy pulses around the Mugen School. Sensing this sudden change, everyone but Sylvester and Tweety feels that shift.
"Ahhhhh!" Mars senses.
"Did... did you feel that?" Heart asks.
"Feel what? What just happened, you guys?" Sylvester asks.
"It's as if... the entire school... has this heavy, black feeling that just appeared." Pluto describes.
"That doesn't sound good." Tweety figures.
"You guys, look!" Jupiter points.
A large, dark barrier surrounds the entire building, covering everything but a large star-shaped hole on top of the barrier.
"Ugh... that's creepy!" Jupiter reacts.
"A barrier, huh?" Ethan comments.
It's not just the barrier the group has to worry about, though. Deep within the laboratory of the school, a bunch of test tubes shatter. This causes hundreds, if not thousands of Daimon Pods to appear and birth. Floating across the entire building, they hatch... forming gelatinous and human shaped monsters that, while weak individually, are strong together.
"Can you get a reading on that energy, Mercury?" Neptune asks.
Mercury, bringing out her mini-computer and visor, analyzes the dark energy. "I've got a scanner reading on it, now. It's a sort of negative energy force field."
"Think we can blast that barrier apart?" Ethan asks.
"That would take too much of our energy to do so. But, there is a weak spot near the top of that building. If we can teleport through that weak point, we can get in." Mercury concludes.
Ethan volunteers. "Alright. Leave it to me. It's time I used-"
With an activation from Mistress 9, the entire group gets a sudden sense of dread all around them.
"What the... what is this feeling down our spines?" Uranus shivers.
"The force field is showing signs of life! It's making its way out!" Mercury analyzes.
"You mean that ugly looking slime coming from over there?" Venus points.
The slime pours right out the building, forming Heart Snatchers from it.
"Looks like Mistress Hag decided to roll out the welcoming committee." Ethan jokes.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Heart forewarns.
The slimy monsters go feral and jump in from many numbers past the building to attack.
"It's coming straight for us, everyone! Brace yourselves!" Mercury detects.
"Huh... I knew I should have brought an umbrella." Moon comments.
Splashing onto the scene, the monsters spread their slimy goop around as the entire group gets bombarded by their grabs, pulls, and punches.
"Incoming from the front, puddy tat!" Tweety warns.
"Take that and that!" Sylvester attacks.
Sylvester uses Slash on two of the monsters, taking them out.
"Brick Break! Sky Uppercut! ... Jump Kick!" Uranus attacks continuously.
First, Uranus heavily chops a monster, then she uppercuts another, before heavily smashing another one with a downward kick.
"Flame Burst!" Mars attacks.
Mars releases a fireball that takes out a monster from within. Its flames impact three other monsters nearby, weakening them.
"Gotcha, now! Haaaa!" Heart strikes with a piercing beam, taking out the three monsters that Mars weakened.
"Thunder Punch!" Jupiter strikes.
Jupiter electrically fists a monster, sending it to another monster, destroying them both.
While the team takes out a good chunk of them, more and more monsters seem to rain down at nearly an endless rate.
"There are tens of thousands of them!" Mercury notices, attacking several monsters with the heated gust of Scald.
"And they just reshape themselves!" Neptune adds, taking down five of them with the water rushing technique of Aqua Jet.
"It's like fighting jello that's gone really bad!" Venus compares, striking down a few more monsters with Magical Leaf, sending out a good number of glowing leaves with homing properties.
"We're gonna need some more power. Shadow, can you help us out with that?" Ethan asks, elegantly slashing a number of numbers using his energy katana technique, Bushido.
"It's would be my pleasure, brother. Chaos Boost!" Shadow prepares.
Shadow unleashes a dark aura around him, powering all of his Chaos based moves. Dark electricity surrounds him, as he quickly gathers energy into him, until his body glows red.
"Chaos... BLAST!" Shadow shouts.
Keeping his starting blast radius outside of his allies' positions, Shadow explodes powerful dark energy, with its blast radius reaching over 100 feet, taking out thousands of monsters all at once.
"Yeah!" Most of the scouts cheer.
"You are definitely just as incredible as Ethan, Shadow!" Uranus compliments.
"Naturally. They are Ultimate Lifeforms, after all." Neptune agrees.
"Don't celebrate just yet. Because they're coming back!" Heart points.
Thousands more monsters spawn and appear before the group.
"Oh no. Don't tell me it didn't work!" Sylvester frowns.
"What are we going to do, now?" Venus wonders.
"Try again!" Jupiter suggests.
"Doing one Chaos Blast is quite taxing on me, so it will take a bit to do another. And if I use it again, that's it for my Chaos Boost." Shadow warns.
"In that case, I'll take care of them!" Moon volunteers.
"We need to conserve our energy for future fights, Sailor Moon. Are you really planning on going Super, now?" Heart asks.
"I won't need to go Super to take out many of them at once. Though, I will need a bit of time to prepare my attack. Cover me!" Moon says.
"You got it!" Ethan agrees, and so does the rest of the gang.
Since Mistress 9 is constantly sending out more and more of these monsters to them, it is putting a strain on her current energy reserves.
"Careful. You don't want to overtax your energy reserves." Dr. Tomoe cautions.
"... I'll be fine, doctor." Mistress 9 pants. "I completed my task."
"Care to fill me in?" Dr. Tomoe asks.
"The Mugen School is now the omega zone, shielded by dark energy. Impenetrable. No one will be able to set foot in here... without an invitation." Mistress 9 assures.
Her hand becomes empowered with dark energy.
"Excellent. What's with the hand?" The doc wonders.
"It will bring... the Chalice to me!" Mistress 9 answers.
She enhances it and tears open the dark space to get to her target.
"Hurricane!" Pluto strikes.
Pluto sends out a giant twisting windstorm that tears through hundreds of monsters at once.
"Rainbow Love Spark!" Heart fires.
She fires a large, rainbow colored beam to blast through many more monsters.
"With me, Venus! Water Pledge!" Mercury calls.
"Glass Pledge!" Venus calls.
"Swamp Wave!" The two attack together.
With the combined powers of a column of Water and a column of Grass, a large wave of swamp water, drowning a huge number of monsters with its slimy rush.
"Fusion Bolt!" Jupiter calls.
"Fusion Flare!" Mars calls.
"Chaaaaarge!" The two shout.
Mars brings out a giant flaming orb, while Jupiter surrounds herself with a huge thunderball. Mars throws the orb towards Jupiter, combining their powers together. With a fire/thunder combination, Jupiter rushes through monster after monster, before unleashing a flamebolt explosion to take out even more monsters.
"It's ready!" Moon calls.
"Do it, Sailor Moon!" Heart cheers.
"Moon Spiral Heart Attack!" Moon strikes.
The spiral energy becomes a wave of love energy in the shape of a heart. Its love energy blasts thousands of monsters to moon dust.
"Sooo cool!" Venus cheers.
"Quickly. We should take this opportunity to teleport while we're in the clear!" Mercury suggests.
"Great idea. Gather around, everyone!" Ethan calls.
Everyone gather around Ethan, as he gets ready to use Chaos Control.
Ethan calls, "Let's do this! Chaos-"
"Wait a second! What's that?" Mars points up.
Mistress 9's hand extends quickly to Sailor Moon.
"Look out, Sailor Moon!" Heart warns.
It was too late. Mistress 9 grabs Sailor Moon by her neck and begins to drag her back.
"Sailor Moon!" Everyone shouts.
"No... let go!" Moon struggles.
Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Heart grab Sailor Moon to try and pull her out of the hand. Meanwhile, monsters greatly increase their swarm, keeping Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Shadow, Sylvester, and Tweety from helping Sailor Moon immediately.
Ethan becomes Super Saiyan and immediately charges for a Super Kamehameha. "Ka... me... ha... meee- GAAAAAH!"
Unfortunately, Ethan becomes bombarded by hundreds of monsters that dropped right at him, cancelling his attack.
"Come on you guys, puuuull!" Mercury struggles.
"We can't let'em take her!" Jupiter exclaims.
"Hold on!" Venus shouts.
"Don't let go!" Mars shouts.
"Ohhh, noooo!" Heart notices something bad.
The same goop that attacked Ethan goes right into the other scouts that were pulling Sailor Moon and gives them a powerful shock, letting her go.
"AHHHHHHHH!" The five scouts scream, falling to the ground.
"Uranus!" Neptune gasps.
"No! Sailor Moon!" Uranus shouts.
Sailor Moon becomes dragged into another space.
"Sufferin' Succotash!" Sylvester exclaims.
"Sailor Moon's been taken!" Tweety frowns.
"No..." Shadow lets his head down in sadness.
"Look, the monsters are retreating!" Pluto points out.
All of the monsters retreat back to the building, and fortify the barrier, making it even stronger than before.
"Now, what do we do?" Heart wonders.
The Heroes think about their next strategy.
Dr. Tomoe laughs, signaling their current victory over the Heroes.
"You are marvelous, Mistress! A fine display of power." Dr. Tomoe compliments.
"I was lucky to get that pure heart energy from that pipsqueak, Rini. It helped me tremendously!" Mistress 9 informs.
Hotaru's light briefly takes over, "Don't use poor Rini's heart crystal. She's just a child. Please let it go!"
"Something wrong, Sovereign?" Dr. Tomoe wonders.
Mistress 9 returns back in control and exclaims, "No, nothing! A momentary dip in my energy flow."
She strategically transforms into the appearance of Hotaru.
"I'll take care of the Purity Chalice, doctor. You will be on standby, when the Heroes find a way to intrude my headquarters." Mistress 9 orders.
"Huh? Wait, how do you know they would find a way in?" Dr. Tomoe asks.
"Underestimating their capabilities will be costly, doctor. You should have realized that by this point!" Mistress 9 points out.
"Right. I understand." Dr. Tomoe agrees.
"Those beings you made... they will help you with their elimination. Now, go! End the lives of those scouts, the Ultimate Lifeforms, and any others that enter! And don't blow it! Capiche?" Mistress 9 desires.
"Yes!" Dr. Tomoe nods.
Ethan turns back to normal, while Shadow releases his Chaos Boost state. The group gathers around to plan their next move.
"Now, what?" Heart asks.
"We need Sailor Moon in order to defeat Mistress 9." Pluto says.
"Since we have the time to do so, we should all teleport in." Mars suggests.
"One problem. That weak spot I mentioned earlier... it's now patched out." Mercury analyzes.
"Does this mean that we can't get in, now?" Jupiter worries.
"I'm not sure. Let me check the strength of the barrier." Mercury studies.
While they wait around, the barrier surrounding the school is expanding outward.
"Uhhh... I'm not seeing things, am I? Why does that barrier look like it's getting bigger?" Sylvester notices.
"Ohhh, no!" Mercury exclaims.
"What's up?" Uranus asks.
"The barrier is growing stronger and thicker!" Mercury informs.
"That's gonna make it harder to get in or out!" Jupiter says.
"What can we do?" Venus wonders.
"Is there no way inside?" Neptune worries.
"The barrier is quite powerful, and no ordinary means can allow us to get in, not even normal teleportation." Mercury says.
"But...?" Heart hopes.
"But, if we have enough power with our teleporting, we should be able to break through!" Mercury informs.
"Enough power?" Tweety wonders.
"Ethan, Shadow, what if you both did Chaos Control, together?" Uranus suggests.
"Both of us...?" Ethan ponders.
"Yes! That can work! When two or more people use Chaos Control, its power greatly increases." Shadow realizes.
"It should be enough to pierce past the protection of that barrier... if we do it together!" Ethan believes.
"We have a plan to get in. Thank goodness!" Neptune becomes relieved.
"But... what about that barrier? I don't think leaving that thing alone while we're all going in there is such a good idea." Heart wonders.
"With its power increasing more and more by the second, it may cause even more trouble for us without restraining it." Mars figures.
"The thing is... we can restrain it!" Mercury formulates.
"You can?" Heart questions.
"And how exactly are you going to do that?" Tweety wonders.
"It's a special technique that the four of us... me, Venus, Mercury, and Mars... can do as guardians of the Moon Princess." Jupiter informs.
"We'll contain the force field with the Sailor Box." Mars says.
"This technique will have us go to four corners of an area, and box the energy in with our planet energies." Venus explains.
"Ohhh... so, you'll be keeping the evil energies out with your own energies? ... That's brilliant! You guys have your own surprises that we don't know about, huh?" Ethan smiles.
"We have tons of experience with all we've been through, Ethan!" Jupiter winks.
"Everyone's really doing their part, Uranus!" Neptune smiles.
"And we must do ours. We must go forward while they keep that dark energy from expanding any further." Uranus adds.
"Each of us will take one corner, and we use the teleport brainwaves to make contact." Mars plans.
"The rest of us will be heading in, then." Ethan says.
"Best of luck, you guys!" Jupiter wishes.
"Let's move, girls!" Mars calls out.
The four girls head into their corners to begin preparations for the Sailor Box.
"Sailors Heart, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto... and Sylvester and Tweety, gather around. We're about to head in!" Ethan calls.
The group is in close proximity. Ethan and Shadow release emerald energy from their bodies, as they perform the technique together.
"Ready, Shadow?" Ethan asks.
"I'm ready, brother." Shadow nods.
"CHAOS CONTROL!" Ethan and Shadow shout.
With a high pitched sound, the two Ultimate Lifeforms warp everyone in range in a flash of light, successfully teleporting right through the barrier, and into the Mugen School.
The four scouts got into their positions. They stretch their arms and kneel, as they speak to one another with telepathy.
"This is Mars, making contact." Mars communicates.
"Mercury, on contact." Mercury informs.
"Jupiter here. Contact on." Jupiter informs.
"Venus. Completing contact phase." Venus communicates.
Each of the scouts use planet power to send energy around their corners. forming a box of light energy when all four come together.
With their energies, they prevent the negative energy from expanding any further.
"We are one! We are unity! The planets are one! Sailor Moon!" The scouts express.
As for Sailor Moon, she wakes up in an empty looking room.
"Huh? ... Scouts? Is that you? Can you hear me?" Moon wonders.
She sees a familiar look girl 'fainted' in front of her.
"It's Hotaru!" Moon gasps.
The Heroes warp into an unknown dark room.
"Where are we?" Sylvester wonders.
"Not a place that looks familiar to me." Uranus notices.
"I don't sense any dangerous lifeforms near here." Ethan informs.
"We should get going, then. We need to find Sailor Moon, first and foremost!" Pluto suggests.
With the group's agreement, they run forward out of the dark room.
They continue running through a cave looking area, with a large number of strange looking white creatures in place.
"Everyone, stop! I think we have company ahead!" Neptune senses.
They stop due to Neptune's warning. They look closer at these white creatures.
"Ugh... what are these weird things?" Heart wonders.
"Hahahahaha! My creations. Ultra performing beings designed to protect our school! Heh heh heh!" Dr. Tomoe appears and laughs.
"Well, well... if it isn't the evil doc, himself!" Ethan says.
"Don't be too surprised. You are aware that you're trespassing on very private territory, right?" Dr. Tomoe asks.
"You're standing on shaky ground, doc!" Neptune informs.
"This school's gonna be out for summer, and then some!" Uranus states.
"What a pity. Such clever, young ladies you two are. Too bad you didn't enroll and make those sharp brains free for Daimon use. Just like my all time favorite pupil, Tomoe. Hahahahahahaha!" He speaks.
"Uhhh... I'm totally lost." Heart ponders in confusion.
As the 'doc' continues to laugh, red energy flows from his body, revealing a rather shocking truth. The Dr. Tomoe that was taking over the whole time was actually a lizard looking creature called Germatoid.
"Wow... I did not think we would encounter anything uglier than those slime monsters we fought." Ethan comments.
"Very funny, Saiyan. But then again, I suppose that's your thing... making jokes at my creations." Germatoid speaks.
"To be fair... many of them were indeed jokes in the grand scheme." Ethan grins.
"So... what's going on? And who's that weird thing?" Tweety asks.
"It would seem as though this... thing, has been the one taking over the real Dr. Tomoe this whole time." Uranus figures.
"That is correct, sailor scout. My name's Germatoid, and I've been in control of this entire operation for years!" Germatoid introduces.
"Even his name is total bonkers!" Ethan expresses.
"Poor Dr. Tomoe. He was a pawn to this thing the whole time." Neptune says.
"All that matters now is getting this thing out of the way so we can get to Sailor Moon." Pluto says.
"I'll take care of it. Uranus World Shaking!" Uranus attacks.
With her planet attack, she tears Germatoid apart easily.
"Nice! You got him, Uranus!" Ethan cheers.
"No, she didn't." Shadow denies.
Many pieces of Germatoid become goop. The goop takes control of the white creatures and brings them to life.
"Hahahaha! Nice try, Uranus! Your powers pale in compare to mine. You can't stop me. None of you can!" Germatoid speaks.
The white creatures charge in to attack.
"We have to deal with more of these monsters?" Heart sweatdrops.
"Allow me. Neptune Deep Submerge!" Neptune attacks.
Planet power allows them to take down a number of the creatures. But, more of them comes charging in.
"More of them? In that case... Pluto Deadly Scream!" Pluto strikes.
With more planet power, more of the creatures have been taken down. All of the creatures are down.
"Is that all of them?" Sylvester wonders.
"I think so, puddy tat." Tweety believes.
It's not over, though. All of the creatures rise back up and continue to charge in.
"You've got to be kidding!" Heart exclaims.
Uranus Mega Punches several of them. Neptune uses Hydro Pump, creating a ball of water and releases a huge pressure of water on several more creatures. With a shout amplified by magic, Pluto uses Hyper Voice to cripple a few creatures using her voice.
One of the creatures grab Sylvester and trips him.
"Hey!" Sylvester calls.
"You let go of my puddy tat friend, creep!" Tweety shouts.
Tweety uses Drill Peck and drills right through the arm, setting Sylvester free.
"Thanks, Tweety!" Sylvester appreciates.
Tweety express, "No, pro- Owwwwwie!"
A punch from one of the creatures strikes Tweety, sending him down.
"How... dare you hurt my best friend? You do realize, this... means... war!" Sylvester angers.
"Go get them, Sylvester..." Pluto whispers, sending positive energy to Sylvester using Helping Hand.
Sylvester slashes a large number of creatures with his furious Slash attacks.
One of the creatures is about to strike at Sylvester, but Shadow uses Shadow Ball on it, continuing Sylvester's rampage.
"Not on my watch." Shadow comments.
Using her finger, Sailor Heart magically draws a giant star, then a giant circle to surround the star.
"Esoterica Shining Star!" Heart performs.
She pushes the star forward. Ethan notices and uses Flamethrower to power the star with more energy. It takes out a number of additional creatures. In conjunction with Sylvester's rampage, all of the creatures are taken down once.
"Phew. That should do it." Heart hopes.
After Sylvester finishes, he nudges right at Tweety, waking him up.
"... Puddy tat?" Tweety calls.
"I have avenged you, my friend!" Sylvester smiles.
Tweety flies up to Sylvester's head, commenting, "We really do make a great team!"
"We certainly do, Tweety!" Sylvester agrees.
Once again, however, the creatures come right back up.
"This is never going to end..." Heart frowns.
"Hahahaha! I told you that you can't stop me! Now it's time to say... adios, amigos. It's game, set, and match for us bad boys. HAHAHAHAHA!" Germatoid laughs.
It looks hopeless for our Heroes. That is, until Pluto remembers something that can be used to stop them.
"The treasures. That's it..." Pluto recalls, then tells Uranus and Neptune, "Uranus, Neptune, use your treasures!"
"Our... treasures?" Neptune wonders.
"Your guardian treasures. Allow me to help." Pluto assists.
Using some magic, Pluto magically conjures two of the treasures used to make the Purity Chalice appear; Uranus's Sword and Neptune's Mirror.
"What are those? I've never seen those before." Germatoid wonders.
Neptune grabs her Mirror, while Uranus grabs her Sword.
"Their treasures. They're the ones that were a part of Uranus and Neptune's pure hearts!" Ethan remembers.
"But... how will these treasures help us?" Heart wonders.
"Neptune, use your mirror on the creatures." Pluto suggests.
"Okay!" Neptune agrees.
"Fellas, I think I feel a big 'Uh, oh!' coming along!" Germatoid warns.
"You know what they say. If you don't like what you see in the mirror, it's time to change your ways!" Neptune quotes.
Using the mirror, the light's powerful reflection impacts each of the Germatoid creatures that look within it.
"It's working! They're all getting turned to dust!" Ethan notices.
"Good work, Neptune. They're getting dropped like flies!" Uranus smiles.
"Cheaters, I'll get you for this!" Germatoid speaks.
"Hmmm? That one didn't get dusted?" Shadow wonders.
"That must be the leader of the bunch. Uranus, you're up." Neptune passes on.
Uranus unsheathes her sword, revealing a light empowered element within it.
"Double bladed uh-oh!" Germatoid panics.
"It's over, Germafreak!" Uranus states, stabbing its eye.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Germatoid shouts.
Germatoid explodes and turns into dust, eliminating all of the remaining creatures as well. As it turns out, it, too, was a Heart Snatcher... containing a Daimon Pod within. It cracks open, and releases the spirit within.
"Woohoo!" Sylvester and Tweety cheer.
"Uranus, Neptune, way to go, you two!" Shadow compliments.
"We couldn't have done it without all of you!" Neptune smiles.
"Especially without you, Pluto. Great idea you gave us!" Uranus says.
"Glad I was able to help. But, we have little time to waste. We must get going." Pluto informs.
"You got that right." Ethan agrees.
They all run and continue forward to get to Sailor Moon.
"We still need to find Sailor Moon. Hold on, we're on our way!" Heart says.
"... Hotaru." Dr. Tomoe mumbles.
Has the real Dr. Tomoe come back?
Back with Sailor Moon, she goes up to 'Hotaru', who speaks to the scout about what she needs.
"The Chalice... the Purity Chalice..." Hotaru speaks.
"What about it? Have you seen it, Hotaru?" Moon feigns.
"No. I just... overheard them saying that... if Super Sailor Moon made the Chalice shine, it would be the end of the negative force." Hotaru says.
"Alright." Moon nods.
"You have to go, Sailor Moon. You can't be captured by them. You have to try to get out of here. Don't worry about me." Hotaru insists.
"I do have to go... to save Rini. But I'd like to take her best friend, too. And I know Shadow also wants to see you." Moon smiles.
"... Thanks!" Hotaru smiles.
"No prob." Moon giggles.
"You're the best! ... I'm too weak, though. You go on. I'd only slow you down. Save Rini for me, please, Serena?" Hotaru begs.
A red flag dawns on Sailor Moon. "Serena...? How come you... how did you know my name was Serena, Hotaru?"
"Ohhh..." 'Hotaru' may have made a costly mistake.
"I'd doubt Rini would tell you so casually. And I don't believe Shadow would have a reason to tell you without my word." Moon suspects.
"Heh..." 'Hotaru' grins.
"Hotaru, is that you in the there or not?" Moon asks.
"Yes... heh heh, sort of. The body is. Gotcha, Sailor Moon!" Mistress 9's voice speaks.
"What did you do with Hotaru? Where is she?" Moon questions.
"She's here. She's just taking a long, long nap. And there's no wake up call in sight." Mistress 9 answers.
Sailor Moon becomes surprised, seeing Hotaru's body floating up in the air. Mistress 9 reveals her appearance before her.
"I am the light force of Tau Nebula, power of the new future, diva of different dimensions. I am Mistress 9. Hmm hmm hmm hmm!" Mistress 9 reveals.
The door opens behind Sailor Moon, with the gang reuniting with her.
"Sailor Moon!" The group calls.
"You guys, you made it!" Sailor Moon smiles.
They run up to stand beside Sailor Moon.
"So, we finally meet face to face, Mistress 9!" Uranus says.
"You wrench! How could you cause so much trouble for everyone? For our friends, for Rini, and especially for Hotaru!" Heart says in an upsetting tone.
"We're going to rescue everyone, you better believe it!" Ethan proclaims.
"There won't be any new future for you, Mistress 9. That I guarantee." Neptune assures.
"Our future depends on it!" Pluto adds.
Mistress 9 reveals the center stage of the battleground, a starry background with the device for the placement of the Purity Chalice.
"Eternal optimists the lot of you are! I'm afraid you're too late! The future is now. The future is MINE! Hahahaha!" Mistress 9 laughs.
The Heroes become serious. Mistress 9 turns to the starry sky, as if speaking to someone.
"Pharaoh 90, can I ask you to wait just a little while longer? I have some loose ends to tie up." Mistress 9 speaks.
"Pharaoh 90?" Everyone else exclaims.
"Is she suggesting that there's an even bigger threat out there? That she has a boss?" Heart questions.
"It just keeps spiraling down further and further..." Ethan phrases it.
"Surprised, Heroes? Hmm hmm hmm. Soon, you can welcome your new ruler, and witness the beginning of the silence! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Mistress 9 evilly laughs.
The light that shines for Hotaru fades further and further away. "Rini, Shadow... I'm so sorry. I'm... I'm sorry..."
'Ha! At last, she's gone. Hmm hmm hmm hmm.' Mistress 9 senses.
The barrier that shines thanks to the four inner scouts, continues to keep the dark energy from expanding... for now.
As for our group confronting Mistress 9, they face dire odds even with their combined powers.
"Hotaru... Can we save her?" Shadow asks.
"It doesn't look like good odds, you guys." Uranus ponders.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Less than slim odds, even. Hotaru Tomoe is no longer here!" Mistress 9 informs.
"No... Hotaru!" Shadow shivers.
"Shadow..." Ethan frowns.
"NOOOO!" Moon cries out.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaa! You'll all be doomed, anyway. So, what does it matter? The mighty power that I'm drawing from the Tau Nebula is that of Pharaoh 90, the power source of Heart Snatchers, and also of the deadly silence. And... the real reason why I was able to take control of the government back at your old homes, Ultimate Lifeforms!" Mistress 9 reveals.
Ethan and Shadow become surprised by hearing the truth.
"Once I'm able to possess the Purity Chalice, Pharaoh 90 will emerge, and the time for silence will begin! Haaa ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Mistress 9 details.
"You will never have the Purity Chalice!" Neptune denies.
"And we will stop you, right here... right now!" Ethan assures.
"Guys, be careful. While I do want to take her down, I am still worried about Hotaru. I don't know if she's truly gone or not, but... just please, make sure not to kill her!" Moon desires.
"We just need to weaken her enough, so that you can purify Mistress 9 and free Hotaru, Sailor Moon. That should also free Rini's pure heart." Heart figures.
Ethan turns into Super Saiyan and says, "Alright. We will need to put some serious pressure on her. Remember, she was able to reflect the powerful attack Shadow and I gave her at our strongest. So, be careful, everyone!"
Shadow unleashes his Chaos Boost and says, "Hotaru... I still believe that your light's there. As long as we have any kind of odds of saving you, I will not give up! We will free you... and save Rini!"
"Stay back, Sailor Moon. You need to reserve your energy for freeing Hotaru. Sylvester, Tweety, cover Sailor Moon so she's safe." Heart suggests.
"Gotcha!" Sylvester agrees.
"We'll put all of our hearts to keeping you safe, Sailor Moon!" Tweety assures.
"If you guys need support, I can still provide it. Good luck." Moon wishes.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Come at me, Scouts! Come and get me... Ultimate Lifeforms!" Mistress 9 taunts.
"Chaos Orb!" Shadow prepares.
Shadow charges chaos energy into a sphere, and throws it. Mistress 9 dodges with orb with a surprising burst of speed.
"You missed!" Mistress 9 smirks.
"Hmph!" Shadow smirks back.
He redirects the orb's trajectory just before it hits the wall to Mistress 9's new position and strikes behind her.
"Grrrrr..." Mistress 9 becomes angry.
She charges two spheres of purple energy orbs and throws them both towards Shadow.
Shadow uses Chaos Snap, to not only dodge the attack, but also prepares to deal a powerful kick to her. Mistress 9 suspects the attack, and avoids it.
"Deep Worlds Collide!" Uranus and Neptune attack together.
By approaching Mistress 9 together and combining their attacks, they directly attack her with two planet powers combined.
Quickly recovering, Mistress 9 sends several shadows to Uranus and Neptune, hitting them both with shadows shaped like thorns.
Pluto gathers energy into her right hand, while she gives off a dark green aura. She forms a dark green orb.
"Roar of Time!" Pluto attacks.
Pluto fires her beam at Mistress 9, who takes the attack and sends it right back at her. Just as Pluto was about to get hit...
"Hakurei Barrier!" Heart calls.
Sailor Heart sends out a magenta colored barrier to briefly protect Pluto.
"Get away!" Heart calls out.
Pluto moves out of the way, as the barrier becomes destroyed, in time for Pluto to avoid her own attack.
"Thank you, Sailor Heart!" Pluto smiles.
"HaaaaaaAAAAAAAH!" Mistress 9 shouts.
Mistress 9 summons around 10 orbs of purplish darkness. The darkness forms into the slimy monsters they fought earlier. She sends them all towards Sailor Heart.
Sailor Heart sends out butterfly danmaku, which spreads widely to hit each of the monsters, destroying some, but only weakening others. The remaining five monsters land near Sailor Heart and strike at her, sending her back, but not down.
"Sailor Heart!" Ethan calls.
"I'm alright, Ethan." Heart informs.
The five monsters each target the other attacking Heroes.
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto get caught off guard and become struck by their burst attack. Ethan uses Protect to block himself from his attack, while Shadow teleports to dodge the burst attack that was coming for him.
Mistress 9 takes the time to empower her hand with darkness and increases its size to deal a big blow to the outer scouts. But, Ethan quickly charges in and stops the charging blow for the time being. But, he slowly becomes overpowered by her might.
"Sailor Moon, a little... helping hand would be nice!" Ethan asks.
"You got it! Gooo, Ethaaaaaaan!" Sailor Moon performs her move.
Using Helping Hand, Sailor Moon sends positive energy to Ethan, powering him up. He is able to run quickly to push the fist right back at Mistress 9, dealing big damage to her.
"You've just hit yourself. How that's for humor?" Ethan grins.
"Very funny, Saiyan..." Mistress 9 expresses with sarcasm.
Mistress 9 glows her eyes red, and unleashes lightning strikes on her enemies. The first lightning strike goes to Sailor Heart, but she anticipates it and dodges it. The next strike is for Pluto, but she narrowly avoids it. The following strike is for Neptune, who gracefully avoids, just to get surprised struck by another, sending her down.
"Neptune!" Uranus runs over to her.
"Ohhh, Uranus. This feeling... it's like being a Water type, and being dealt a super effective hit by an Electric attack." Neptune jokes.
"I think we're rubbing off of Ethan's silly humor." Uranus chuckles.
"I got you, now!" Mistress 9 strikes with another lightning bolt towards Uranus and Neptune. But, Ethan uses Instant Transmission, teleporting him directly above the two to take the hit for them.
"Ethan!" Uranus gasps.
"Charge!" Ethan performs.
Instead of taking the attack, however, he absorbs the entire lightning bolt into his body, filling his entire body with yellow electricity.
"Whoa! That's impressive!" Neptune smiles.
He uses Instant Transmission to teleport right in front of Mistress 9.
"Super Thunder!" Ethan unleashes.
He releases a bluish-yellow lightning bolt with spiky features and a gold aura. Mistress 9 receives a huge shock to her systems, dealing great damage to her.
"Alright! Way to go, Ethan!" Sylvester cheers.
"Take that, you witch!" Tweety comments.
"That's it! These games are over, Heroes!" Mistress 9 rages.
Mistress 9 releases a dark aura, sending Ethan back a fair bit.
"Ohhh, boy. We're in trouble, now!" Ethan sweatdrops.
"You're more than just 'in trouble', Saiyan!" Mistress 9 targets.
Mistress 9 summons five large orbs of dark energy. Each them fire powerful lasers. They all aim at Ethan. Using his Afterimage Strike, he dodges each of the five lasers that aim for him.
She quickly sends out a shadow to have it come out and grab Ethan from his legs, allowing her to fire all five lasers at Ethan. Burn marks can be seen all over his body. He falls to the ground, losing his Super Saiyan power.
"ETHAN!" Uranus cries in tears.
Mistress 9 envelops both of her hands with darkness and releases two giant fists to crush Uranus and Neptune.
"Uranus, look out!" Neptune warns.
Just as it was about to impact the two, Pluto and Heart use Safeguard and Hakurei Barrier respectably to block the attacks. But, Mistress 9 powers herself even further, shattering both shields and impacting them with powerful fist attacks, sending Pluto down near Neptune and Pluto, and for Sailor Heart to end up near Sailor Moon and the pets protecting her.
"Pluto!" Uranus and Neptune gasp in shock.
"Sailor Heart!" Moon gasps, going towards the fallen scout.
"Ohh... my precious owner..." Tweety frowns.
"Ethan..." Sylvester frowns in thought of him.
"Sorry, you guys... but I need to do this!" Shadow informs, as his body glows red and he surrounds himself with dark electricity.
"Shadow, wait!" Moon shouts to try and stop him.
Shadow warps behind Mistress 9 and grabs her.
"Hey! Let me go, hedgehog!" Mistress 9 struggles.
"I'm sorry, Hotaru... CHAOS... BLAST!"
A large explosion impacts the entire half of the arena, causing a lot of smoke to appear.
"Shadow. Ohhh... I hope it wasn't too much..." Moon prays.
Unfortunately for Shadow, it wasn't enough, as during the explosion, she majorly shocks Shadow with electricity, bringing him down near her, and ending his Chaos Boost.
"Shadow! NOOOOO!" Moon calls out.
"Ho... taru, Maria... please... forgive me... for not avenging you..." Shadow slowly says before fainting.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! It looks like I'm the victor, Heroes. So much for your teamwork!" Mistress 9 mocks.
"Tch... unnng..." Pluto tries to get up.
"Pluto..." Moon notices.
"How cute. Your precious friend still has enough energy to rise, does she?" Mistress 9 grins.
Mistress 9 sends out more shadows, this time to capture Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, who first receives a shock, then is raised high up, trapped and bound by the dark energy together right in the foot of the newly formed giant statue of the Sovereign of Silence.
"Uranus, Neptune, Pluto!" Moon calls desperately, feeling down that almost everyone has been defeated.
"What are we going to do, puddy tat...?" Tweety wonders.
"I don't know, Tweety..." Sylvester lays down in depression.
"You better hand over the Purity Chalice, Sailor Moon, or start waving goodbye to your scout pals!" Mistress 9 threatens.
"Don't do it! Ahhhhhh!" Uranus says, having her, Neptune, and Pluto's necks being wrapped by the shadows, for the intent of being chocked to death.
Ethan slowly regains consciousness and sees that the three are in deep trouble. "Uranus... Neptune, Pluto! You... you let them go right now, you monster!"
"You are in no position of threatening me, Saiyan. Be a good boy and stay put." Mistress 9 gives Ethan a powerful shock, hurting him deeper, but he still remains conscious.
"Ethan..." Sylvester tears up.
Sylvester runs up to his owner, while Tweety flies over to Sailor Heart.
"Do whatever you want, pets. You won't last long, anyway." Mistress 9 says.
"You okay, Ethan?" Sylvester asks in concern.
"Heh heh... come on... this is me we're talking about. I always come out on top at the end. I have to... for everyone's sake..." Ethan quietly says.
"Sailor Heart, please be okay. Please get up so you can keep fighting for the ones you love!" Tweety hopes.
"I can't decide which one of your sailor pals I should get rid of, first." Mistress 9 wonders.
Mistress 9 tightens the grip on their necks.
"Stop it! Leave them alone!" Moon shouts.
"Ohhh, Sailor Moon, you can't surrender the Purity Chalice. It's our only hope to save the world from disaster!" Neptune warns.
"But..." Moon struggles.
'... I wonder... how much time I can bide for everyone if... I used my Time Stop power...' Pluto ponders over if she should use her forbidden ability.
"Forget us!" Uranus shouts.
"Sailor Moon!" Neptune shouts.
"No... I can't... I can't just leave you guys! Not now... not while we're finally a true team!" Moon sobs.
'I don't blame Sailor Moon for what she believes in. And it is true. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are truly by our side, now. But... what are we supposed to do?' Ethan ponders.
Because Sailor Moon does what she believes is right, she would never allow her friends, her family... to be killed off, even if it means a potential victory that could be possible otherwise.
As Sailor Moon is about to conjure the Purity Chalice, Sailor Heart wakes up. She first sees Tweety, then sees Sailor Moon.
"... Sailor Heart." Tweety calls.
"Tweety... unng, what's... happening?" Heart quietly asks.
"I think... Sailor Moon is about to give up her special item to the bad person so she can save our friends." Tweety summarizes.
Sailor Heart barely sees Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto trapped from up high.
"Is that so...? Sailor Moon..." Heart mumbles.
"Unng... don't do it!" Uranus sobs.
Sailor Moon begins to conjure the Purity Chalice, leaving Mistress 9 excited. But then, a worn out Dr. Tomoe calls out to Mistress 9, or rather... Hotaru.
"Hotaru...!" Dr. Tomoe calls.
Everybody hears his calls and notices his call.
"Is that... Dr. Tomoe?" Ethan wonders.
"Aren't you... Hotaru's father?" Moon asks, cancelling her conjuring.
He slowly walks up to Mistress 9.
"Hotaru... unnng, it's me... Uhhh... Hotaru, it's my... fault." Dr. Tomoe struggles to say, as he takes a hold of Mistress 9. "It's my fault... uhh... that... yooooou... uuuugh..."
"How sad that you're back to your old self. If Germatoid has no more use for you, then neither do I!" Mistress 9 proclaims, sending the good doctor back with a push.
Sailor Moon gasps, as the doctor also gets chocked by a shadow.
"... Nooooo! Stop it, please!" Sailor Moon sheds tears. "I beg you..."
Back outside with the inner scouts, they are holding on to the dark energy that tries to expand forward, but the monsters within the energy begin to growl and rage at them.
"Try and hang on, guys!" Mars supports.
"It's increasing its power!" Mercury points out.
"I'll never give up!" Jupiter says.
"I'll stop this evil force... from entering this city!" Venus expresses.
And back to Mistress 9 and the Heroes, a desperate Dr. Tomoe still tries to speak out.
"Hooo... taru..." Dr. Tomoe speaks out.
"Daddy!" Hotaru's voice speaks out, with everyone hearing it, even Shadow, who wakes from her voice.
"... Hotaru?" Shadow mumbles, opening his eyes.
"Daddy! Ohhh, what's happening?" Hotaru wonders.
"Is that you, Hotaru?" Moon wonders.
With a struggle for Mistress 9, she lets go of Dr. Tomoe. She also loosens the grips on Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
Mistress 9 breathes heavily, as Hotaru's light tries to fight back against her.
"This body's rejecting me. Help! I can't breathe!" Mistress 9 reacts, kneeling to the ground in pain.
"Sailor Moon, this is your chance. Become Super Sailor Moon and purify Mistress 9!" Uranus calls.
"Hurry, or it'll be too late!" Neptune calls.
"... Okay. Don't worry, Hotaru... I'll save you!" Moon assures, summoning the Purity Chalice to her hands.
"... Heh!" Mistress 9 grins secretly.
"Moon..." Moon begins.
Mistress 9 darkens her hands to extend and grab the Purity Chalice from Sailor Moon.
"Crisis..." Moon continues.
"No! She's going to get the Purity Chalice!" Pluto notices.
"Sailor Moon!" Uranus and Neptune shout.
"P-Huh?" Moon wonders, hearing the call of Uranus and Neptune.
Too late! Mistress 9 grabs the Chalice right out of her hands, instantly granting her a massive power boost.
Sailor Moon gasps, "Noooooooo!"
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Mistress 9 evilly laughs.
Her massive surge of power pushes back Sailor Moon and Dr. Tomoe, who was trying to approach Mistress 9, far back.
"No..." Heart sobs.
"She's got the Purity Chalice!" Ethan shivers.
"..." Shadow become terrified.
"Sailor Moon, you big fool! You've called on the Purity Chalice right in front of me, allowing me to take it! Let it be known that you are the one responsible for ending all that you hold dear!" Mistress 9 notes.
"Hotaru, you can hear me, can't you? HOTARU!" Sailor Moon calls.
Unfortunately, the flicker of light from Hotaru is gone once again, this time for good.
"Hahahahahahaha! Don't waste your time. It's too late!" Mistress 9 chuckles.
"I'll never allow you to take Hotaru! And I won't let this world fall into your even hands, either." Sailor Moon says in a serious tone.
"You better give in. You're dreaming... if you believe what you say, Sailor Moon. All of your precious friends have fallen by my power, and you can't turn Super without this missing link! As you know, this Purity Chalice happens to be the crystal of the purest heart in existence, now. The only way to defeat Pharaoh 90, once he has possession of the Purity Chalice, is to reduce a heart of greater purity. The odds are definitely against you." Mistress 9 informs.
Mistress 9 places the Purity Chalice in a special capsule, sending a giant wave of negative energy into space, as it calls forth Pharaoh 90 from the depths of space over to Earth. This also massively raises the power of the dark barrier, having the inner scouts struggle to try and hold on.
"Ahhhh! What happened?" Mars wonders.
"I wonder what's going on inside?" Mercury says.
"Uwwa!" Jupiter reacts, getting bitten by a monster head.
"Sailor Moon..." Venus says.
The Purity Chalice shatters, releasing a massive dark energy surge around the area. Mistress 9 continues to laugh, ensuring of her victory.
"This way, Pharaoh 90!" Mistress 9 calls.
Pharaoh 90 vastly approaches its destination.
"It's over..." Neptune weeps.
"Pharaoh 90 is on its way. The world is doomed for destruction!" Uranus frowns.
"Is there... anything we can do...?" Sailor Heart mumbles.
"Moon Spiral Heart Attack!" Moon attacks.
Sailor Moon attacks with a wave of love energy. Instead of attacking Mistress 9, however, she attacks through the spatial tear and strikes directly at Pharaoh 90. The core within Pharaoh 90 opens up, however, to retaliate with a massive blast of dark energy right at Sailor Moon, dropping her scepter.
"Ahhhhhh!" Moon reacts.
"Sailor Moon..." Heart faintly calls.
"There's absolutely nothing you can do... to stop the impending doom, Sailor Moon! The new world... the world of silence is about to begin." Mistress 9 informs.
In a shocking turn of events, Pharaoh 90 attacks Mistress 9, dealing incredible damage towards her. In that moment, Shadow reforges the desire to protect Hotaru, even from the witch that withholds her.
"HOTARU!" Shadow shouts.
In a flash, Shadow turns Super, and creates a large, light barrier, protecting Mistress 9 and Dr. Tomoe, and Sailor Moon, who was behind Shadow, but in front of the two.
"..." Super Shadow pants, but still acts strong.
"... Shadow." Moon notices. "... Thank you. You've done the right thing."
"Brother..." Ethan gleams.
"Ohhhh..." Heart smiles faintly.
The inner scouts are unable to hold on to the dark energy anymore, now that Pharaoh 90 makes its arrival on Earth. They are all driven back, taking heavy damage from the energy surge.
Sailor Moon gets up and confronts Super Shadow. She holds onto his shoulder, as she breathes.
"..." Moon breathes.
"Sailor Moon." Super Shadow says.
"Hotaru." Dr. Tomoe calls.
Hotaru's light shines back and responds, "Daddy...?"
"My... sweetie." Dr. Tomoe smiles.
"Daddy... where are you? It's too dark to see." Hotaru asks.
"I'm right here." Dr. Tomoe calls.
"Shadow... is Shadow there, daddy?" Hotaru asks.
"Are you... referring to the nice hedgehog?" Dr. Tomoe asks.
"I am." Hotaru confirms.
"Yes. He is there. And he looks so... golden and strong. He... he protected you, and me, too." Dr. Tomoe informs.
"Ohh, Shadow..." Hotaru says in a sweet tone. "At least Shadow's safe. But... now, I've got to save Rini, now, daddy. Please, help me to do that!"
"I'm sorry. I don't know how to. Forgive me... If only we could go back to the happy days before all of this." Dr. Tomoe says in tears.
Dr. Tomoe relives the many happy, pleasant, tearful, and cherishable memories with his time with his daughter.
"... My little girl." Dr. Tomoe takes a tighter hold on her.
The light from Hotaru grows stronger. Hotaru, still in the appearance of Mistress 9, wakes up.
"... Daddy?" Hotaru calls.
"Huh?" Sailor Moon hears.
"Hotaru...?" Super Shadow recognizes.
Everyone else becomes surprised, hearing Hotaru's voice.
"Ohh? Hotaru?" Dr. Tomoe senses.
Unfortunately, the moment becomes ruined as the negative energy from Mistress 9 surges right back, shoving Dr. Tomoe away.
"Dr. Tomoe!" Super Shadow shouts.
"Leave me alone! I don't need you! Now, leave me alone, Hotaru! Ahhhh... you're completely, ahhhh... completely worthless to us ahhhhh... I won't share this body ahhh... you're no longer needed!" Mistress 9 heavily breathes out.
"Hotaru, can you hear me?" Super Shadow shouts.
"Shadow... is that you, Shadow?" Hotaru speaks out.
"Stop! Leave me alone! Remove yourself... Remove yourself!" Mistress 9 resists.
"No... Shadow needs me! Rini needs me!" Hotaru expresses.
As Hotaru and Mistress 9 continue to power struggle against one another, Super Shadow approaches her. Mistress 9 calmly looks at him.
"Hotaru, you're... you're like Maria to me! You're like the long lost sister Ethan and I had bonded with... so long ago!" Super Shadow states.
"Brother..." Ethan whispers, becoming motivated and starts to stand.
"But, I..." Hotaru speaks.
Then, it switches to Mistress 9, "Don't you remember, Shadow? I killed your precious Maria. I caused the government to declare that attack onboard the Space Colony ARK. Could you still say that... knowing that both the person that reminds you of Maria, and the person that killed Maria, belongs in the same body?"
"Even so... Hotaru... Hotaru, you filled in the void that was missing within my heart! I never really got to truly move on from losing Maria... to put most of my past behind me, and look in the future. But now... because of you, I can move on. I can look into a future where I can be happy. And fulfill the promise Maria made to my brother and I... to give the people the chance... to be happy! And be in a world where we can smile and live peacefully!" Super Shadow desires.
"Oh, Shadow." Hotaru calls out.
Ethan gets up, feeling Shadow's speech deep within in his heart.
"You are family to Hotaru, and I will always love you like my sister!" Super Shadow expresses.
"Shadow!" Hotaru thinks dearly about her father, Rini, and Shadow, as her light shines massively. "Ohhh... I've got... I've got... I've got people I care about and love. I want to protect everyone I love!"
The dark star sign in her forehead becomes the sign for Sailor Saturn. Mistress 9's darkness becomes destroyed, and in its place, Sailor Saturn starts to appear.
Everyone wonders what's happening, as the space surrounding them becomes warped, and Sailor Saturn's spirit vanishes in a spark of light.
"Hotaru..." Dr. Tomoe says.
"The Sailor Scout of destruction... Saturn!" Uranus notices.
"I wonder... with Shadow's light towards Hotaru, can it be...?" Neptune wonders.
With Sailor Saturn awakening, what will happen next? And what will our Heroes do about the appearance of Pharaoh 90? Will this be the ultimate turning point for our Heroes?
