''Last song of the day.'' Brittany murmurs trying to catch her breath after the group song, she turns to her sister and smiles lovingly. ''Break a leg Bug, you will blow them away.''

''What will you sing Kay?'' Q asks curiously, Kayla turns to the group smiling slightly as she sees everyone look at her curiously and shrugs.

''You will see.'' She turns on her heels kissing her sisters cheek as Mr Schue signs her that it's time and walks onto the stage placing the microphone in her hand in the stand.

Santana watches the younger blonde lower her head as the pianist starts playing and tilts her head as she sees her taking calming breaths as the spotlight moves to her, she reaches out intertwining her hand with her girlfriends knowing she is curious about the song too and turns back to the stage as Kayla's voice filters through the auditorium.

She gasps softly as she hears the emotion in Kayla's voice and quickly slides behind her girlfriend wrapping her arms around her waist as she feels her knees buckle, she kisses her shoulder as they hear Kayla's voice crack and gulps. ''Whoa.'' She murmurs softly in shock hearing just how amazing the younger girls voice is.

Brittany leans back against her girlfriend wiping away the tears streaming down her cheek as she watches her little sister belt her heart out on stage and sniffles.

She closes her eyes dropping her head tears silently streaming down her cheek as she feels their best friends hugging her sides, her girlfriend slipping in front of her and buries her face in Santana's shoulder as the piano instrumental fills the otherwise silent room.

She slowly pulls back wrapping her arms around her girlfriends waist and looks at her sister smiling sadly as she sees her wiping away her tears too, she exhales a shuddering breath as she turns to look at her and shoots her a small loving smile. 'So proud of you Bug.' She mouths forming a heart with her fingers.

Kayla turns back to the audience after blowing her sister and best friends a kiss and grabs onto the stand hoping she will reach the high notes.

Brittany's jaw drops as she hears the high note her sister reaches even though her voice cracks and gasps softly. ''Holy.''

''Shit.'' Santana murmurs watching the younger blonde on stage smiling proudly. ''She sounds amazing.''

Santana steps aside as the song comes to an end knowing the two sisters will need a moment and turns to their best friends. ''Damn Kay brought in the win.''

''For sure.'' Puck murmurs amazed watching the younger blonde thank the audience as they all stand up clapping and whistling, he pulls his girlfriend and Santana in a hug as he sees them wiping away their tears and kisses their heads. ''That was Kay's way of telling everyone that she found a way to deal with the loss, she will be more than alright when we are going to college girls.'' He murmurs softly.

Santana hums softly in agreement turning her head as Kayla walks back towards them and smiles lovingly as she sees her fall into her sisters arms tears immediately running down both of their faces, she leans back against Puck as she watches her girlfriend pick her sister up and sniffles. ''God I always love to watch them together, they went through hell together but their relationship only strengthened and they would both walk through fire to make sure the other is happy.''

''So proud of you Bug, that was amazing.'' Brittany murmurs hugging her sister tightly, she kisses her temple as she feels tears slide down her neck and rubs her back tightening her hold around her waist as she feels her legs wrap around her waist. ''Mom would also be so, so proud of you baby girl.''

She leans against the wall as sobs suddenly wreck through her body and shushes her softly keeping her lips pressed against her temple, she locks eyes with her girlfriend as she walks over to them with their best friends and smiles lovingly as they join the hug also muttering just how proud they are of Kayla.

Santana smiles sadly intertwining her hand with her girlfriends on Kayla's back as she sees silent tears slide down her cheeks and steps closer sandwiching Kay in a hug, she leans up on her tiptoes kissing both of their cheeks and rubs Kayla's back. ''That was amazing Kay.''

''Thank you.'' Kayla murmurs softly after she calmed down a bit and hears the jury call out winners, she slowly pulls back standing back on her own feet and wipes away her tears. ''I wanted to sing something to honor mom, it will always be a huge loss for us but we have to look forward and she will always be with us right in our hearts and she will always look over us making sure everything will be good for us.''

Brittany hums softly wiping away her tears and kisses the top of her head. ''That song was perfect for it Bug, mom was surely watching from above with a huge proud smile telling everyone else up there that, that is her little girl right there on the stage singing her heart out.''

Kayla laughs through a sob and nods her head. ''Yeah that sounds like mama.''

Brittany pulls her back in a hug and kisses the top of her head again. ''I just want you to know that even though the four of us are leaving for college soon, that you will always be a part of our lives Bug and as soon as you graduate you will join us in New York and whenever you visit us we will show us all the awesome things we found in the city.''

''Your sister is right, we are a family Kay and nothing will change that.'' Quinn tells the younger blonde kissing her cheek, Puck nods his head in agreement kissing the top of her head and smiles lovingly.

''You are like a little sister to all of us Nugget, without you our family wouldn't be this fun.''

''Did you just call me Nugget?'' Kayla asks giggling, Santana laughs and pulls her in a hug kissing her cheek.

''They are right Kay, you are our little sister and nothing can ever change that. Yes we might be in another city for the next few years until you graduate but we will visit you whenever we can and you will fly to us with the folks too, we will never forget you sweetie and whenever you need us we will always be there for you.''

Kayla nods her head and smiles lovingly. ''I know.'' She pulls them in a hug leaning back against her sister and kisses their cheeks. ''Thank you, I love you guys.''

''We love you too Bug.'' Brittany murmurs smiling lovingly.

''Guys sorry to interrupt, but they just called us on stage.'' Mercedes says as she walks up to them.

''We won?'' Brittany asks raising an eyebrow, Sam laughs and nods his head.

''First place baby! Kayla's performance shocked them.''

Brittany smiles proudly and looks down at her sister after shooting Mike and Tina a grateful smile as she sees them blocking Rachel's path onto the stage. ''Come on, let's go grab the trophy you deserve sis.''

She softly pushes her towards the stage following her out onto it intertwining her hand with her girlfriends and watches Kayla talk to the jury smiling shyly as he compliments her on her voice and the song choice, she turns to look at her girlfriend as she squeezes her hand and leans over kissing her forehead. ''I love you.''

Santana smiles lovingly squeezing her hand again and leans against her side. ''I love you too Britt-Britt.''

''Hey B, want to?''

Brittany turns to Puck frowning in confusion as he doesn't finish his sentence and raises an eyebrow, she smiles as he nods his head to Kayla holding the trophy as the audience cheer loudly and nods her head letting go of her girlfriends hand.

She follows him to her sister and holds up her fingers slowly counting down, they both simultaneously crouch down as soon as she reaches one and push their shoulders against the back of her thighs grabbing onto her thigh.

They stand up laughing as she squeals and smile as the audience cheer louder and their friends all join them cheering as Kayla holds up the trophy with a bright smile, Brittany smiles as her sister moves to sit on her shoulders as she notices Puck and Quinn kissing each other and holds onto her thigh to keep her steady.

Santana smiles snapping a picture of them and walks over to her girlfriend pecking her on the lips. ''Told you that you and Kay make our group better, second first place win in a matter of weeks.''

Brittany smiles pulling her closer with her free arm and kisses her softly. ''It is a group win love, we just changed the dynamic of the group for the better.''

''Sis put me down please.'' Kayla murmurs patting her sisters head, she squeaks holding onto her shoulders as she suddenly crouches down and slaps the back of her head as she laughs. ''Asshole!''

''Yeah, yeah love you too nerd.'' Brittany murmurs snickering, she lifts one arm and smiles lovingly. ''Come here sis.''

Kayla walks into the hug as soon as she handed Mr Schue the trophy and pulls Santana in it too. ''I love you girls.''
