Basil had not even been in A. Nigma for ten minutes until an announcement from Tina Kwee and that ever annoying Chaz said they were to go to the gymnasium for an assembly. The head of the parents' council had some sort of announcement to make.
What manner of announcement needed to be made? Was it to tell the students who their new principal and vice principal were? What a wonderful question. Hopefully it was, otherwise Basil did not see much reason for this assembly. If it was not, then it was a waste of time.
Walking to the assembly, Basil thought about everything he had gone through in the last few days. It had been odd to say the least. He just found himself wanting some normalcy in his life, even if such a thing while being a student at A. Nigma High School was impossible.
Could it be? Who could say? Basil certainly couldn't. The school mascot was a Tazeulwurm and with what he had seen since school began that year, he did not know what else he was going to see.
There was just something that Basil could not shake. Ever since the appearance of the Devil Bat and its ultimate destruction, he could not help but think something new could take its place.
Would there be? Who could say? All that Basil knew now was that he had a little bit of time to relax and a girlfriend who loved him. What more could he ask for?
