Four Brawlers immediately get their heads blown off by pellets coming from four 8 Gauge shotgun shells, William's eye darted in lightning speed as he quickly identified the next nearby threat, aimed his shotgun, squeezed the trigger and killed a Brawler that's charging at him. Two more approached from each of his side, William thrust his right leg toward one of the Brawler's chest, stunning it for a bit, shot the other before finishing off the stunned Brawler with another shot. By this time, the Brawlers decided to go all out as they charged at him together. William didn't hesitate to empty the rest of the shells loaded into the shotgun, he moved in incredible speed to avoid being overwhelmed as he shot any Brawlers trying to pounce him and managed to kill each one with one shotgun blast…The remaining twenty six shells are quickly expended and only eight Brawlers are left around him. They retreated for a bit, putting some distance between them and William who stared at his shotgun's hologram ammo counter as he noted that he's out of ammo.

"Oh well, store ASM…Load SS Blade" William said to himself.

The shotgun disappeared in flash of blue and on his right hand, The Siren Slayer blade materialized. William stared ahead and noted that the Brawlers are staring at him from quite the distance away, looks like they're afraid to charge towards him after their friends are massacred with his shotgun. William could've just jump and attack them, but he will get obliterated by the dropships and the Siren Troopers nearby. The reason why they haven't fired yet is because he's currently standing between them and the civilians, they want those people to be alive for some reason and that limited his options here. Like it or not, the KANSENs would have to fire at the nearby dropships and risked the live of the civilians. That dropship could be shot down with one shot if the ship girls are using their main guns, but it would seems they would have to resort using their AA guns since firing main gun with civilians nearby might not be a smart move.

"Baltimore, Hipper, prepare to take out those dropships. AA guns only, focus your fire upon them" William said to Baltimore and Hipper on the radio.

"Huh?! Wait, wouldn't that provoke the other Sirens to attack us!?" Hipper asked William on the radio.

"Do it on my signal…I'm going to distract them" William said to Hipper on the radio.

"Huh?! Against that many Sirens?! Are you crazy, kommandant?! You can't take on that many in close quarters! Even with your armor!" Hipper said to William on the radio.

"Don't worry, Hipper. I'll get it done" William said to Hipper on the radio.

"Do what you have to do commander, we got your back!" Baltimore said to William on radio.

"Thanks Baltimore" William said to Baltimore on the radio.

(Rules of Nature started playing)

"Aibou, flight mode" William said in low tone.

"Flight mode engaged" Aibou notified William.

The jet thrusters on his back goes on, William immediately dashed forward, propelling himself with his newfound strength while being aided with the jet thrusters. He managed to close in on the Brawler group within split seconds, by the time the Brawlers able to react, William's blade is already swinging toward them. Two of the Brawlers are cleaved through from a single slash, splitting their body into two as William landed behind them. The remaining six Brawlers jumped toward him and the Siren Troopers opened fire, William quickly dashed to the side and swing his sword upwards that killed a Brawler which got its upper torso slashed into two. He then flung his sword toward another Brawler in front of him which resulted in the giant sword stabbed the Brawler through the chest, William ignored the Brawler he just stabbed and went into the last remaining three.

BZZT!

His body's left side temporarily flashed in blue as two plasma bolts hit him directly, his personal shield flared up as it managed to do its job, luckily his shield is at full charge so he could still take few more hits. William managed to close in on the three remaining Brawlers, as expected, the three of them also charged toward him. They don't see him carrying a weapon and thought that he's vulnerable, William is going to prove them wrong in a second. He unsheathed his twin wrist blade, William jumped and kicked the nearest Brawler, giving it a nice feet uppercut that resulted in the monster flying backwards while having it's neck snapped. He then lunged on another Brawler just behind the one he kicked, William immediately stabbed the Brawler in the jugular area, yanked the blade sideways that caused major damage and resulting in yellow blood profusely spurting out of the Brawler. The last Brawler meet the same fate as the last one, but instead of letting it fall to the ground, William grabbed the Brawler and throw it toward a group of Siren Troopers who are distracted by a flying corpse.

"Do it now!" William said out loud on the radio.

"Yes sir! Open fire!" Baltimore said out loud.

The ship girls fired their AA guns toward the Siren dropships, forcing them to flee by going upwards as fast as they can. With the aerial threat around the area temporarily gone, the human soldiers on the area could fire at the Siren Troopers. The soldiers managed to rope and pin most of the Siren Troopers, with the exception of one group that almost got hit by a thrown Brawler corpse. That group, is for William to slaughter…The man dashed to the side to grab his broadsword, then William charged at The Siren Trooper group that consisted of ten troopers, all of them raised their weapons then fired at William at rapid pace. William put his blade in front of him as he sprinted in inhuman speed toward the troopers, the plasma bolts dealt zero damage to William as the blade's wide surface protected him from any direct damage. He managed to get in close with the Siren Troopers, William immediately swung his blade upwards diagonally and he slashed a trooper into two with a single slash.

Without letting up, he brought down his blade in a downward slash and cleaved a Siren Trooper perfectly into two. His next target is a bit far and he's already under fire from Siren's plasma weapons, William need to be creative. He put his blade on a magnetic holster on his armor backside, shot out his left grappling hook which the hook is embedded inside a Siren Trooper, William quickly yanked the rope toward him before he swung it around, effectively making a makeshift wrecking ball. He spun the trooper around as he slowly advanced toward the Siren Troopers who were forced to duck between abandoned cars, when he arrived at sufficient distance, William found one exposed Siren Trooper in front of him and thrown the trooper attached to his hook toward it. He jumped high and landed in front of another Siren Trooper who melee him right in the face with a plasma rifle, his shield flared up but since he didn't feel anything other than momentum, William recovered within split seconds as he grabbed the plasma rifle, kicked the trooper down before finishing it off with several plasma bolts to the head.

William acquired a Siren Plasma Rifle, his HUD reticle shape changed and he could now read how much shot he has with the gun before he have to reload. Currently the rifle has forty six shots left? More than enough for him. William advanced toward the remaining Siren Trooper while firing his plasma rifle, time seems to slow down a bit as he sprinted toward five remaining Siren Trooper in front of him. Plasma bolts flying around him, some hit him directly and flared up his shield, but William remain steadfast in his advance while firing the plasma rifle until it dried up. Two Siren Troopers are killed from his plasma rifle fire, the other three decided that it's all or nothing so they pulled out some kind of black short sword and charged at William at once.

"Ho, alright, you're on" William said out loud.

One of the trooper managed to get close toward him ahead of the other two and swung its blade downwards which William blocked with the plasma rifle, the gun broke but it successfully preventing the blade from hitting William. He tossed it to the side, grabbed the Siren Trooper's right hand, twisted it in complete 180 degrees which caused the blade to fall and the trooper to scream in agony and William used the trooper as meat shield because the last two troopers charged toward him while thrusting their blade. Two blades embedded on the Siren Trooper William held, he didn't waste the chance as he kicked the stabbed trooper forward and stunned the remaining two Siren Troopers. William dashed forward while extending his right wrist blade, he grabbed a trooper by the neck, it struggled by trying to weaken William's grip on it. William quickly stabbed the trooper he held on the chest several times in quick succession, he stabbed the trooper on seven different spots before throwing it down to the ground. The last trooper already turn around and flee, but William noticed the trooper and he fired his grappling hook toward it. The hook embedded on the trooper's backside and William yanked the trooper back toward him.

"After what you did, don't even think I'm going to show any mercy!" William said out loud.

William released the hook while grabbing his blade at the same time, the trooper fell toward him and William swung his blade toward it. The result? Cleaved Siren Trooper which continue to fall behind him and spurting out yellow blood…He thought everything is over, until William noted two incoming hostile coming from his nine o'clock. He checked the map radar hybrid feature and found out that there are others following the two dots, he swiftly turned to the left while raising his blade in defensive posture.

CLANK!

CLANK!

William kept his posture but he's forced backwards, his feet skids on the ground as he absorbed the hits he just received. He stared at who just hit him, and he could only grinned widely. In front of him, seven Siren ship girls stood menacingly, the Strategist are flanked by two Peace Breaker while four Explorers stood in front of them and two of them are the one who smacked William with their rigging…Him fighting against ship girls? To be honest, William didn't thought it would be possible. But now, with the modification and his armor? He feel he could take on these Siren ship girls personally. Just as he's about to move, the Explorers in front of him aimed their cannons toward William…

"Oh motherfu-" William said out loud as he turned on his jet thrusters.

PSIUPSIUPSIUPSIUPSIUPSIUPSIU!

William dashed to the side to dodge the plasma bolts from the Siren ship girls, he made sure to direct them from firing at the civilians in front of the station by making the Sirens facing away from them. Then, he charged toward the Siren ship girls with blade on his right hand. Two Explorers immediately moved in to intercept him, but he got other plans. William jumped high toward the Strategist who's about to launch fighters toward him, fortunately William is faster and seconds later he's already in front of the Siren. He swung his blade toward the Siren's hip, cutting it through like hot knife through butter before side kicking it's upper torso hard toward a building. The Peace Breakers charged their cannons and fired at William, luckily he heard the sound of the cannon charging up so he have time to fly upwards, dodging the devastating cannon blast coming from the Siren KANSEN battleships.

PSIU PSIU!

BOOM BOOM!

Immediately after he fly upwards, William dived immediately toward one of the Peace Breaker, he knocked it down with a powerful dive kick before he grabbed its neck then swung it toward another Peace Breaker. The two Siren battleships collided and thrown to the nearby building across the station, he'll deal with them after he take out these four cockroaches…The Explorers immediately moved in to swarm and beat William down, all four are engaging him in close quarter by using their riggings in melee fight. William had to be on the defensive as he deflect and dodge their attacks, he's looking for an opening he could exploit and-

CLANK!

Something hit William in the head which caused him to be thrown backwards, he rolled on the ground several times before he recovered and skid on the ground in kneeling position. His armor internal speaker is beeping with noisy alarm notifying him that his shield is completely depleted, William briefly stared at the empty shield gauge before he looked ahead. In front of him? The Peace Breakers have recovered and it's sooner than he expected, or did he take too long dealing with the Explorers? Nevertheless, if he wants to win, then he better take the initiative. His body glows blue as his shield recharged, William grabbed his blade and charged ahead at the waiting Sirens who have their cannons ready to fire. The Sirens fired their guns and William side stepped to the side, aided with his jet thrusters. Then he lunged toward the nearest Explorer.

The Siren was split into two as Siren Slayer hit its midriff, the force William put in his attack even caused the split body to be thrown to the side. The Explorer directly behind the one William murdered immediately moved to attack, William however parry the rigging she used to attack with his back handed left arm, hitting it with enough force to cause The Siren to stagger. He swung his blade toward the Siren, decapitating it in one stroke, he maintain his momentum before William thrown his blade toward one of the Peace Breaker. The blade crushed its head and causing the Siren to drop dead. His problem still exist as the other Peace Breaker begin to charge its cannons while the other Explorers are dog piling him, they restrained him in place so the Peace Breaker can have a sure shot. William immediately directed his wrists toward the Explorers restraining him, then he fired the grappling hook, hitting them straight in the head. William retract the ropes, pulling the Explorers, grabbing them by the neck once they're in range before positioning them in front of him then dashed backwards.

PSIU!

BAM!

"KOMMANDANT!" Hipper yelled in horror.

"Wait, his IFF is still intact! He's still alive!" Baltimore said out loud.

"We're here, what did we miss?!" Essex asked out loud.

"A lot of things, but don't worry, the show isn't over yet!" Baltimore said to Essex.

From the dust cloud caused by the Peace Breaker, William appeared and charged toward the Siren in full speed. His shield are recharging, the paint on his armor are chipped in various places, his scaly wrist guards are the one affected the most. Looks like his personal energy shield is strong enough to tank most of the Peace Breaker firepower if he didn't receive a direct hit and standing five meters away as the explosion occurs. The heat and shockwave did affect him though, but like the trooper he is, William shrugged them off as he set to kill the last Siren KANSEN within immediate vicinity. In seconds, William successfully close the gap between them and he unsheathed his wrist blades. William moved his hand to stab the Siren but it managed to grab a hold of his hand, preventing him from stabbing its head.

"Oh no you don't!" William said out loud.

William headbutted the Siren, causing it to stagger backwards. He then charged toward it once again while unleashing barrage of stabs, the Siren knew it couldn't keep up with the lightning stabs attempt so it put on defensive posture by using its riggings to cover herself. William knew and speculated in the past that every Siren's weakness is their head, you could blow half of their body away, dismember them or even melt their internal organs, as long as their head still intact then it will keep on living somehow. That's why, William will not take chances with this one bitch…William slide its legs, the Peace Breaker fell to the ground and William bring down his leg in full force toward its head.

CRACK!

SPLAT!

"Heads up! Some of the Spider Tanks managed to breach our perimeter! There's two of them!" Bremerton said out loud on radio.

Indeed there are two of them, one run into a platoon of marines supported with M1 Tanks while the other one? It appeared before William…This would be the first time William face a Spider Tank directly. He's seen the pictures, a mechanical tank with four limbs, two side plasma repeaters on each side and a main cannon on its 'chin' area…It's a formidable opponent, especially that it could use its limbs to wreck even a tank. However there's one advantage William has over their battle tank, he has limbs and more maneuverable.

Based on the battlefield Intel, the main cannon will take around five seconds to charge up a full powered shot. So, William fired his grappling hooks toward the plasma repeaters on its side. The hooks are stuck and William used his new power to pull the ropes, the repeaters are pulled from the tank's chassis. The tank couldn't fire since William is too close so it opted for mechanical limb strike, it lunged its frontal limbs toward William who's busy side stepping and dashing backwards to avoid that fatal limb attack. If he got hit, it would pierce his shield without a problem and end his life. William found his Siren Slayer blade embedded on the asphalt, he dashed to the blade and took it out. William stored the blade on his back as he's focused on dodging, but this time he found out that he couldn't get away in time. The limbs are too close so he did the next best thing…he grabbed on into it and held the limbs in place, he single handedly stopped two mechanical limbs of a Siren Spider Tank with his arms.

"…What the actual fuck?!" Essex asked out loud.

"How did he manage to do that?!" Reno asked out loud.

"That guy is your commander?!" Intrepid asked Baltimore out loud.

"Yeah, the one and only!" Baltimore said to Essex.

The tank's limbs are strong, William even struggled to hold it in place. The tank weighted around a ton and a half, just like a car. William would've been crushed if he's only relying on his armor's mechanical strength. However, he haven't put all of his strength into play yet and that's what he's about to do…William groaned as he put on his all, bit by bit he's raised the tank's arms, he succeed in raising them above him in seconds. Then, William changed his grip on the arms, he moved the tank's limbs to the side, followed by its chassis which is struggling to remain on the ground using its rear legs. However, William put every ounce of his newfound power that eventually the tank is lifted completely in the air with William as its anchor to the ground. He succeed in lifting up a spider tank? The next one is the execution, by breaking the rules of nature.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" William roared out loud.

"Holy mother of god!" Casablanca said out loud.

"How powerful is he?!" Cooper asked out loud.

"Even his armor shouldn't be able to make him do that! Someone on HQ must've upgraded it!" Hipper said out loud.

William spun the tank, slowly at first but eventually gain enough momentum that the nearby KANSENs and civilians could feel the gust of wind faintly. Then William jumped high upwards, aided by his jet thrusters while carrying the tank…When he reached around fifteen meters off the ground, William swung the tank which he held and with deep howl he throw it to the ground. The tank is thrown and slammed to the ground in high speed while being upside down and it couldn't do anything as its limbs couldn't touch the ground, much like a flipped cockroach. William grabbed his blade, held it downwards and used his jet thrusters to launch into the turned over Spider Tank…Just like that, William stabbed the tank's central part that housed its power generator. He pulled out his blade as he jumped off the tank, landed on the ground, several meters from the tank and facing away from the downed vehicle. He stood up, walked toward the ship girls and the civilians as he put his blade on his back.

"Threat eliminated, area secured" Aibou sounded on William's internal speaker.

BOOOOMMMM!

The tank exploded behind William as he walked without looking back at it as he moved toward the group of civilians, which many has their phones out? The KANSENs are all stunned, the commandos on the roof are stunned, the marines around the area are also stunned…all of them are in awe as they become the witness of history, on how one man could singlehandedly massacred the Sirens. William paid them no heed, their stares are a bit uncomforting but he could just ignore them as he wore a helmet with polarized golden visor so at least it provide some comfort from the eyes that's staring at him. William approached the group of ship girls, though he could notice that there's more of them since the last time he stared at them, there's even Formidable, Saratoga and Ranger alongside those he haven't known yet.

"Baltimore, status report" William said to Baltimore.

"Sir, the civilians are supposed to be evacuated through this station but we were trapped with a collapsed entrance and dozens of Sirens all around us. At least, until you came to the rescue" Baltimore said to William while she smiled.

"I see. Alright, direct the civilians to the side or rear entrance. Let's keep the evacuation going" William said out loud.

"Sir! Alright everyone! Let's move it while the Sirens are gone! Let's go! To the other entrances!" Baltimore said out loud.

The crowd of civilians started to move toward the other entrances, William watched them leaving then nodded in satisfaction once he confirmed that there are none left behind…save for few corpses of them. He sighed before he turned around and looked at the unknown ship girls in the area, all of them who wore Eagle Union trademark clothing...During his trip to this location, Admiral Stanford briefed him of the general plan and strategy, Operation Eagle Storm is going well so far. Since Lucas have announced it, that means the ship girls in front of him immediately fell under his command. He better take charge of them and continue the operation, the Sirens are still present around the Long Island.

"Which one of you non ALASUC members in charge of the others?" William asked out loud.

"That would be me, sir. Currently assigned to Task Force 38, Aircraft Carrier USS Essex, reporting in!" Essex said to William as she thrown a salute.

"At ease Ms. Essex…Listen up, from now on, all of you are officially a member of Azur Lane Anti Siren Unit Command or ALASUC. I will be your commander starting today. Normally, we will welcome you with a welcoming party alongside good food and drinks, but let's save that for the victory celebration after this operation" William said out loud while he smiled.

"Looking forward to it, sir" Intrepid said to William.

"Excellent. Formidable, set up aerial recon to the west area. Find out how fortified are Siren's perimeter beyond that holding facility" William said to Formidable.

"As you command, milord" Formidable said to William as she deployed her aircrafts.

"As for every other carriers, deploy your aircraft to help our boys on the ground. They could surely use some fire support" William said out loud.

"Roger that. Alright girls, let's do this!" Essex said out loud as she led the others to open space in front of the station.

"Hipper and you two, get ready on the roof top. I need you on standby for dishing out salvos" William said to Hipper, Cooper and Reno.

"…Jawohl…Reno, Cooper, let's head back to our previous post" Hipper said out loud as she walked away.

…William stared at the station for the last time before he engaged his jet thrusters and fly up, he landed on the building next to the one Hipper and the others chose. He looked ahead and was quite surprised to see Prinz leaning on the guard rail with two other ship girls, he didn't see her during his descend into the field…Prinz smirked widely as she looked at the armored giant in front of her, his timing is quite impeccable. Just when she's contemplating on abandoning her post to help the others behind them, she heard that phrase on all channel broadcast…and the next thing she know there's a huge commotion behind them, a sign that he have arrived and immediately proceed to kick ass.

"He's your commander?" Bremerton asked Prinz.

"Ja" Prinz said to Bremerton as she walked to approach William.

"…No one said that he's a total stud…" Marblehead said to Bremerton who only shrugged at her.

"I didn't expect you to be here" William said to Prinz.

"Oh? Is that disappointment I heard in your tone~?" Prinz asked William while she smirked.

"Har har, not what I meant…So, how's it going?" William asked Prinz.

"The situation is quite dicey, kommandant. Sirens have been quite persistent in getting back those civilians, they only retreat when it's apparent that the units which surround the civilians are wiped out…But I think that won't be the last of them" Prinz reported to William.

"Hmm…Formidable, anything worth noting?" William asked Formidable on the radio.

"Hails of plasma and laser bolts everywhere! They're advancing, I think it's their second wave!" Formidable said to William.

"Alright, pull out and save your planes, we'll need them later" William said to Formidable.

"As you wish!" Formidable said to William.

"Admiral Stanford to Knight, please respond" Stanford suddenly said on the radio.

"Knight here, admiral. What do you need?" William asked Stanford on the radio.

"Satellite scan have revealed large formation of advancing Siren units and they are heading toward your position as we speak. The evacuation isn't completed yet and we need that station to remain standing, son. I've redirected all of our deployed forces on Long Island to hold the line, I trust you can command the aerial units and the KANSENs to help our boys out on the ground?" Stanford said to William on the radio.

"We'll do our best" William said to Stanford on the radio.

"Good to hear, leave the frontline ground defenses to me. Stanford out" Stanford said on the radio.

"Well, looks like it'll be another tough fight. You two, what's your names?" William asked Bremerton and Marblehead.

"Name's Marblehead sir, good to meet you" Marblehead said to William while she grinned.

"My name's Bremerton, nice to finally meet you, Commander Blaze" Bremerton said to William while she smiled.

"Likewise, you two. Let's get along" William said to Bremerton and Marblehead.

Both of them nodded their heads as they turn around and prepare themselves to face the incoming Siren forces, William walked and stood behind the girls as he stared at the direction of the approaching Sirens…William used the zoom feature that his helmet has and he found himself grimacing at what he saw, at least twenty Siren Mechs and dozens of Spider tanks are marching toward them while being screened by hundreds of Siren Troopers. They just didn't know when to quit huh? The Siren Troopers are easy picking, most will definitely get caught as collateral damage, so their priority is to take out their combat vehicles.

"Alright, here they comes. Carriers, launch your planes and bomb the hell out of those approaching tanks and mechs" William said out loud on the radio.

"Essex here, roger that sir!" Essex said to William on the radio.

"Vanguards! Shell them as soon as they're in range!" William said out loud on the radio.

"They already are! All units! Open fire!" Prinz said out loud on the radio.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Cannons immediately fired as hundreds of turboprop planes flew from behind them and heading straight for the Siren forces, as anyone would expect next, bombs starts falling on the tanks and mechs. Many of the bombs also fell upon the advancing Siren Troopers, obliterating large numbers of them before they could even reach effective range to attack the human forces. William walked to the side and looked down, he could see tanks and APCs rolling in with marines in tow as they quickly form up defensive in line around the station. Great, they've set up shop and they would only need to hold out until the Siren give up the offense. The ship girls almost single handedly manage to pin the approaching Sirens, then again, that would definitely happen if an entire fleet brought down their might on approaching ground army. With that fleet being able to move on the ground in the form of a human girl? That's even better.

"Looking good! Keep at it!" William said out loud on the radio.

"Knight, this is Apollo One. We're on the vicinity and ready for tasking, do you need some help?" Morpho suddenly asked William on the radio.

"Good to hear from you, Apollo One! Are you packed for close air support!?" William asked Morpho on the radio.

"Barely, most of us only has guns and missiles so our target choice is quite limited" Morpho said to William on the radio.

"In that case, target their mechs! The ship girls have softened their shields and currently pinning them down, finish them off with missiles!" William said to Morpho on the radio.

"Ten four, commander. We have them on radar" Morpho said to William on the radio.

"We're gonna ground pound them, boss?" One of the pilots asked Morpho on the radio.

"That's right. Let's show these aliens why they should look up from now on" Morpho said to the pilot on the radio.

A squadron of F-22s dived down from above while firing their guns and missiles, the missiles and the bullets impacted several mechs behind cover which flared up or disabled their shield and forced the mechs to look up the sky to fire at the incoming jets. The diving jets immediately dispersed and maneuvered their way to avoid intense fire coming from the ground, the mech's weapon isn't that suitable to hit fast moving target since the plasma bolts aren't that fast, but that doesn't stop them from trying anyway…Apollo One or Morpho flown his light blue F-22 between the buildings aggressively, he moved erratically that any mechs or Siren Troopers targeting him are having the hardest time on their life in trying to shoot him down. Morpho flew up, he scanned the Siren Mech's position before he determined his target. He flew toward the station which caused him to fly by William and the ship girl's position for his angle of attack, his target is a Siren Mech who's getting too close to William and the ship girl's position. It has taken some beatings from the ship girls, but it remains advancing undeterred.

The mech noticed him and started firing its plasma cannon, the hails of purple plasma bolts did not deter Morpho in the slightest as he keep flying closer and closer to the mech. Morpho opened fire with his cannon, tracers could be seen hitting the mech and flared up its shielding. The mech continue to fire at Morpho who occasionally rolled the plane to avoid plasma bolts coming toward him, the continuous cannon fire eventually break the mech's shielding, leaving its hull exposed to attack. Morpho did not stop firing his cannon however, tracers could still be seen hitting the mech's chest part. However, because it has dense torso armor, the mech kept tanking the damage like nothing. Morpho fired two missile in succession, it hit the mech's chest part. Because of constant cannon fire, the armor took some beating and collapsed when hit by a missile, exposing the mech's energy core that fueled the mech itself. The second missile impacted the energy core seconds later, damaging it badly and caused it's structure to cave in…The mech's torso glows purple for a bit before it exploded as Morpho pulled up to the sky, only leaving huge fireball and parts of the mechs that are thrown around by the powerful internal explosion.

William and the ship girls witnessed the spectacle live, William even whistled in amazement at the show…After Operation Phalanx, William actually asked Johnson regarding the identity of Apollo One who pulled off impressive maneuver during their defense of Battlegroup Dakota. He's the best flyer Johnson has under his command, a veteran pilot of The Great War between Azur Lane and Crimson Axis. Originally, he operates from an aircraft carrier, riding an F-35 to battle. He's among the one that participated in the infamous duel of the aces between Sakura Empire and Eagle Union pilots during the Great War, Dance on the Dark Blue is nickname for the showdown between two elite squadron from the two nations and the only aerial battle during the war where none of the pilots are shot down. William don't know the details regarding the duel other than the two squadron engaged in intense dogfight then returned to their respective carriers, all of them has damaged planes in varying conditions and none of the pilots disclose the real reason on why there are no planes destroyed on that fight, including Morpho himself…However, there's one thing in common regarding their statement when asked regarding the fight.

'They're good' is the core phrase all of them used when asked about the duel.

"Damn Morpho, you just went and overkilled that mech! Who are you trying to impress here?" William asked Morpho on the radio as he smiled.

"What can I say? You get what you ask for, commander" Morpho said to William on the radio.

"Heh, sure thing, hotshot" William said to Morpho on the radio while he grinned.

"…Man, when can we get jets?" Essex said out loud on the radio.

"I'm sure in the near future, Ms. Essex" William said to Essex on the radio while he smiled.

"Oh don't you give false hope to us, commander!" Essex said to William on the radio.

"Hehehe, I'm sure the scientist could work something out for that" William said to Essex on the radio.

"I've got radar warning! Shit! Anomaly above us! Dozens of Siren fighters!" One of the pilots said out loud on the radio.

"Designation?" Morpho asked the pilot on the radio.

"Raven! It's their multirole generic jets!" The pilot said to Morpho on the radio.

"Commander, be advised that the airspace is compromised. We're going to deal with the approaching bandits to ensure local air supremacy, tell the ship girls to continue their airstrikes, we've got your back" Morpho said to William on the radio.

"Appreciate it Apollo One, good hunting!" William said to Morpho on the radio.

"Roger that commander…Form up on me Apollo. Garuda? Can you take the flank?" Morpho said out loud then asked Garuda Squadron on the radio.

"Garuda One here, leave the side to us, buddy!" Garuda One said to Morpho with cheery tone on the radio.

"Copy that, Naga. Let's get them all" Morpho said out loud on the radio.

Two squadron of F-22 regrouped in the sky before dispersing as they come in contact with Siren Fighter Jets, air battle immediately ensued above Long Island…The ship girls continued their attack at The Siren Forces, the attack are so fierce that it forced the more advanced army into hunkering down between the buildings. The vanguards didn't stop firing for even a minute, the carriers keep rotating their planes so they could unleash all of their munitions at the approaching Sirens…It goes so well for the humans, too well and that made William suspicious. There's something wrong about the army in front of them, William only has one simple question to validate his suspicion…Why haven't The Sirens attempt any kind of flanking maneuvers?

"Our airstrike is working, their forces are being pinned down!" Essex said out loud on the radio.

"…Something is wrong" William said to himself in low tone.

"What do you mean, commander?" Bremerton asked William as she turned her head around in curiousness.

"Those Sirens know they're walking into a kill zone, why haven't they try to skirt around our defensive perimeter?" William asked out loud.

"Could they be they're just feeling suicidal today? Or even desperate?" Bremerton said to William.

"No, the commander do make a good point. They're strong and numerous, but that doesn't mean they're reckless enough to throw away their units for nothing. It makes no sense, even by their standards" Marblehead said out loud as she kept shelling the Sirens.

"When did you become an expert on Siren behavioral matters, Mar?" Bremerton asked Marblehead while she cocked her eyebrows.

"It's just common sense, even they should know that throwing their mechs and tanks into the line of fire without purpose is just a dumb decision" Marblehead said to Bremerton.

"…I got a bad feeling about this. Prinz, take charge of the vanguards for now. Essex, lead the carriers and continue the airstrike. I'll be going to check something!" William said out loud on the radio.

"Alright commander!" Essex said to William on the radio.

"You realized about something, kommandant?" Prinz asked William as she turned around, her riggings kept shelling the enemy behind her.

"Smoke and mirror tactics, there could be another Siren forces in immediate vicinity that we're not aware of" William said to Prinz.

"We would detect anything on our radar if that's the case" Bremerton said out loud.

"Nein, he do make a good point. There's one thing our radar couldn't detect well, infantries, and they're impossible to detect if they're inside a building" Prinz said to Bremerton.

"That means they could already be here! Commander, you'd best get moving if you wa-" Bremerton said to William while she grimaced.

"Milord! We heard gunfire! From inside the station!" Formidable reported to William on the radio.

"Dammit! Carriers! Get away from the station, rendezvous on Prinz and Hipper's position!" William said out loud on the radio.

"Yes milord! Wait, are you going inside the station!?" Formidable asked William on the radio.

"Yeah and before any of you ask or volunteer, no, all of you will remain outside, stave off those Sirens from overwhelming our troops and breaching the front line…Leave this part to me" William said out loud on the radio.

"Well, you did show us how you massacred those Sirens like nothing…Go on commander, we'll make sure the area remain secured after you're done" Essex said to William on the radio.

"Got it" William said to Essex on the radio.

…His assumption is on point, the commandos surely could take on the Sirens that managed to infiltrate their lines. Still, doesn't mean he would ignore the situation, he will still go and check the evacuation progress himself. The attack you ignore is the real one, he forgot who said that but he do take those words seriously…William summoned his GPM Assault Carbine, he held it in his hands as he turned around and stared at the station. If it's true that the Sirens have managed to infiltrate their defense line, then he better help the commandos-…Wait, the commandos haven't report anything either but they've opened fire! Something is wrong, they should've alerted them the moment their main objective's safety are compromised!

"Kommandant" Prinz called William.

"Yeah?" William asked Prinz as he turned his head toward her.

"Be careful" Prinz said to William with serious face.

"It's not like you to be worried openly like this, Prinz" William said to Prinz as he smiled fondly.

"I'm being serious…Donning the armor doesn't mean you're invincible, remember that, please" Prinz said to William while she frowned.

"…I will" William said to Prinz as he nodded.

…All this time William have been around Prinz, he know that she's not the type that outright expressed her worry. She often subtly expressed it by making multi layered remarks, pretending not being bothered by a problem but seriously trying to solve it behind the scenes, she may appear cool and uncaring at a glance but deep down inside she cares. So, when she expressed her worry openly like she just did? It means she's being completely serious and William should heed her words…William jumped down from the rooftop, activated his jet thruster near the ground so he won't break his legs and landed smoothly. He jogged toward the station, passing by several carrier KANSENs as he try to contact the commandos inside the station.

"This is Knight to commandos within the station, please respond…Commandos, this Knight. Do you read me?" William try to contact the commandos but he received no response.

"Knight, status report, we lost all contact with the station" Stanford asked William on the radio.

"Admiral, this is Knight. We lost all contact with the commandos within the station, there's report of gunfire but nothing else. I need some marines to come with me for investigation purpose" William said to Stanford on the radio.

"Understood. I'm redirecting a platoon to help you out commander. Meet them on the south entrance and find out what's going on in there" Stanford said to William on the radio.

"Copy that" William said to Stanford on the radio.

William made his way to the station's southern entrance and wait there, it didn't even take two minutes until the marine platoon that Stanford sent arrive on site. He studied their appearance for a bit, the marines are your standard Azur Lane Marine Platoon and armed as such. Most of them carried M4A1 Carbines, William cocked his eyebrows a bit, the marines are to supposedly carry HK416 as their standard armament ever since they make peace with Ironblood. So if they still carrying M4A1, that means the upgrades haven't been implemented widely…Well, not like it matters too much, both guns fired 5.56mm rounds and it could kill any infantry in capable hands…William also suspected that they will received the GPM Assault Carbine instead of HK416 latter down the line.

"Commander, we're here to help you out sir!" The lieutenant of the platoon said to William as he saluted.

"Alright. Let's move" William said to the lieutenant as he nodded.

"Yes sir. Alright you lots! Single file! Secure the station! Move it!" The lieutenant said to his marines.

The group then moved inside the station with William in the lead, more than few marines actually stared at William in wonder regarding his armor and weapons. They heard from headquarters that the leader of the ship girls have descended into the battlefield to fight the Sirens, at first they're skeptical in what he can possibly do against the Sirens by himself, that until they heard the news that said man massacred Siren Infantries and single handedly take down a tank without any Anti-Tank weaponry…all by himself. That's when they know to put faith in the man, whoever he is, he got what it takes to fight the Sirens directly in the front and it assured many of them that the commander of the ship girls is a capable commander and a powerful warrior. William led the marines into the station, not even five seconds in and he already noticed that something has gone wrong…

"It's deserted…and too quiet" William said to the marines.

"But, last I heard, there's only one evacuation wave out of the station and there are thousands of civilians that should still be around here" The lieutenant said to William.

"Right, we have to assume that something has happened that made them-. Movement, twelve o'clock!" William said out loud.

"HELP ME!" A woman suddenly ran toward the marines and crashed into one of them.

"Whoa! Ma'am! Are you okay!? What happened!?" The marine that held her asked the woman.

"T-They broke through! They…they captured many of us! I-I-I've managed to escape with few others! But the others are still there! You got to help them! Please!" The woman said to the marines with teary eyes.

"Sirens!?" The marine asked the woman.

"Yes! Yes!" The woman nodded her head furiously.

"Alright, private, escort her to the entrance. Sir, we're ready for rescue operation" The lieutenant gave his order then said to William.

"Good, let's free those civilians…this station is compromised" William said to the lieutenant as he continue to move.

…Deep inside, William felt anxious that his assumption have become a reality. He racked his brain to discern on how those Sirens managed to infiltrate their perimeter, there's no way they managed to infiltrate this station and defeat the commandos inside the station that easily if they only relying on Siren Troopers. They haven't found any of those alien corpse around as well, but as they walk even further, they started to discover signs of fighting…Bullet casings, scorch marks from plasma bolts and eventually…dead commandos. Many of them died in strange posture, there's no signs of fighting around their corpses…these commandos are caught off guard by the Sirens.

"Admiral, this is Knight. Station's security is compromised, Siren are present within the building. We need secondary evacuation method, is there any available trucks to be used?" William asked Stanford on the radio.

"We'll find the solution for that commander, you just need to get the civilians out of there and secure them from the Sirens" Stanford said to William.

"Alright. Stand by for our clear confirmation" William said to Stanford on the radio.

"Main platform straight ahead, the door appears to be locked…" The lieutenant said to the group in hushed tone.

"Hold your position and wait for my command" William said to the marines as he summoned the beetle that Bismarck gave him.

"What's that?" One of the marines asked William.

"Reconnaissance drone, pretty handy for situation like this" William said to the marines.

After AIBOU set up the interface, William is free to control the drone like how he control a helicopter, using his hands as the control. His HUD also changed to transmit from the drone's camera, William briefly fly around to get used to the control before he fly the beetle drone into the ventilation and exit on the other room to find an unexpected visual…There are around a thousand of civilians, huddled together on one of the platform, all of them are kneeling or seated on the floor even though there are no signs of Sirens around the area…Why? Are they being threatened? Then where are the Sirens? William couldn't see anything that might threaten the-. The drone stopped moving no matter how hard William yank his control, then the view get covered by a black helmet with a slanted red visor, the feed is cut off split seconds later as William heard the sound of a crushed metal.

"Motherfucker! That was a gift!" William cussed out loud.

"…Ah...You finally came" William heard someone speak from the platform…and his voice are familiar.

"This voice…Midnight!" William said out loud as he sprinted toward the door.

BANK!

William rammed the door with his shoulder then quickly aimed at Midnight who stood between them and the civilians, the marines behind William quickly poured in and spread themselves out while pointing their weapon at the Siren. The marines are sweating bullets because of the Intel they got, they were told to not engage Midnight should they ever see him because they will only get killed. But with the so called 'Azur Knight' by their side? They might just stand a chance…William himself felt livid and a bit nervous, he did expect that he will encounter Midnight during this battle but he never expect it to be this soon. He kept thinking on whether he's ready to face him after being defeated easily on Furushima, the time has come for him to discard those thoughts and replaced it with one goal…to win against the Siren and proved that all of his hard work for the past few months mean something.

"What's the meaning of this!?" William asked out loud as he aimed his gun at Midnight while he scowled.

"…Bait, to get you here…and you didn't disappoint, I know you will notice that something is off with how The Sirens move" Midnight said to William.

"If it's me that you want, then release those innocent people!" William said to Midnight.

"…No. They will have to remain here" Midnight said to William.

"I have to disagree, they're leaving with us!" William said to Midnight.

"…Like I said, they will remain here" Midnight said to William as he snapped his fingers.

All of a sudden, dozens of Siren Troopers with grey undersuit appeared all around the civilians. They come out of thin air and shocked William and the marines, that's why none of the civilians dared to move, so that's how they managed to get a drop on the Azur Lane Commandos, its all makes sense now. What did they use? Some kind of camouflage? Active camouflage? William shook his head a bit, he could find out why or how AFTER the threat is quelled.

"What the!?" One of the marines said out loud.

"How the fuck?!" One of the marines said out loud.

"…Try anything, and we'll have these civilians shot on the spot" Midnight said to William.

"…What do you want then? Answer me!" William asked Midnight as he scowled.

"…Simple, I want to fight you. To see…whether letting you go on Furushima is a mistake, or not" Midnight said to William as he folded his arms.

"Release them and you'll get the fight you want" William said to Midnight.

"…No, that wouldn't do…They will stay, as witnesses" Midnight said to William.

…So, it's come to this. William have suspicion that there's no way he could negotiate for the civilian's safety with Midnight, Sirens has never been known to negotiate anyway. Now, to free the civilians, he will have to fight Midnight, in front thousands of people, the marines and The Sirens. The expectation is heavy, by proving that he can fight The Sirens singled handedly, he's one way or another, become a shining beacon of hope in this war against them…He can't fail, there's no third chance if he failed here. If even after all of the enhancement he received and he still failed? Then, safe to say, he have truly failed, both as a person and a warrior…

"…Lieutenant, you know what to do, regardless the outcome of this" William said to the lieutenant as he walked forward and stored his GPM Carbine.

"Yes sir…good luck" The lieutenant said to William.

"Kick his ass, sir!" One of the marine said to William.

"Yeah! Teach that Siren a lesson!" Another marine said to William.

The marines encouraged him as he walked toward Midnight, William couldn't lie that he honestly feels good that he's being cheered on. Midnight nodded his head slightly as he walked forward as well, both of them stopped around five meters away from one another. Now that William got a good look at his opponent, he could clearly see the difference on Midnight's appearance and the fact both of them are almost the same in size…So, it turns out Midnight was wearing his undersuit on Furushima, the one that stood before him now has sharp armor pieces with Siren design aesthetic, a bit fantasy like design with jagged edges. His helmet topside resembled a crown with a downwards triangle red gem on the forehead part just above the slanted crimson visor, his torso armor are angular looking like its designed to deflect incoming projectiles, the shoulder, arms and legs armor parts has sharp designs that could mitigate melee attack while looking ominous…Overall, Midnight really looked like a dark knight in design aesthetics.

The Siren extended his right hand to the side, there's a purple light on the palm of his hand which elongated and gave off bright purple flash for split seconds. The light died down and on his right hand there's Midnight's Obsidian Longsword, the one that he used to break William's machete in the past. He then swung his sword to the side once before he readied his stance…Where have William seen that style before? The man quickly dispel that question, this isn't the time for that. William took out his Siren Slayer Blade from his back, he spin the blade on his hand twice before setting up his guarded stance right from the start. He set his breathing rhythm, make sure he has firm foothold and readied himself to receive incoming attack…He know that Midnight would be faster than him, hopefully William could win in power aspect and could cleave the bastard into two.

"…This won't end the same like Furushima, Midnight" William said to Midnight as he scowled.

"…That remains to be seen" Midnight said to William.

CLANK!

Midnight made a lightning dash toward William and attacked him head on with a diagonal slash, William however managed to tanked his attack properly this time as he remain rooted in place despite the powerful blow that he directly received. He grunted a bit and pushed Midnight back before raising his blade and bringing it down with ferocious speed, Midnight didn't hesitate to jump back and reset his stance…Not even he has the confident to tank William's blade strike. Midnight charged and swung his sword around rapidly, forcing William to stop and raised his sword in defensive posture. William waited patiently as he keep blocking Midnight's blade strike, he focused solely on finding opening he could use. But Midnight stopped attacking then dashed backward before resetting his stance…William clicked his tongue in annoyance, Midnight didn't fell for his bait…or was he just too slow to act?

"…It looks like you improved" Midnight said to William.

William didn't respond as he dashed forward while swinging his sword upwards in diagonal arc, Midnight bended his body and successfully dodged William's blade strike, however William follow it up by a horse kick. Midnight tanked the kick using his blade and that forced him to take few steps back, William spun himself using the momentum from the kick and immediately went for second strike by swinging his sword in the same manner as before. Midnight position made him unable to dodge the blade in time so he used his sword to deflect William's blade, the blades clashed, it produced sparks and Midnight is spared from William's powerful slash…However, William didn't let up as he continue his aggression. He redirected the blade to go up and bring it down straight toward Midnight, The Siren mustered his strength and parried the blade before charging at William who's staggered after having his blade attack stopped. The man saw Midnight's blade coming at him and managed to dodge it narrowly by side stepping, it caused his shield to flare up as the blade hit the protective energy field.

"…Ho, energy shielding" Midnight commented.

With Midnight overextended his form since he just made his attack, William's left hand shot toward him, grabbed Midnight by the neck, raised him up and thrown him to the floor harshly. William raised his blade and bring it down toward Midnight, but the Siren is quite elusive as he recovered quickly and rolled himself out of the way. William's blade hit the floor and cracked it, using his broadsword is quite hard against agile opponent like Midnight but using his wrist blades isn't an option for now…he have plans for that…William make sure that Midnight didn't stood in front of the civilian group, when he make sure that his target is clear, William raised his broadsword once again and thrown it toward Midnight with his full strength. The Siren didn't dare to block the flying giant broadsword and rolled to the side, William sprinted toward Midnight in inhuman speed and body decked him then carried him all the way until they hit the wall.

The impact caused the wall to be cracked and caused the Siren to grunt in low tone, William managed to stun Midnight for a bit so he didn't waste this chance. He raised his left fist and hit the Siren in the head, then he raised his right and hit him in the head again. William struck The Siren in the gut with his left fist and Midnight grunt a bit louder after receiving such blow, William summoned his GPM Revolver on his right hand and bring it to Midnight's head. He didn't care regarding his experience on Furushima in using guns against Midnight, because this thing could surely penetrate his helmet and blow whatever deformed brain this Siren has! William squeezed the trigger and the gun immediately fired.

SNAP!

BANG!

"Should've known!" William said as he turned around while aiming his gun.

But his hand is grabbed by Midnight who proceed to disarmed him then slide his legs, all in one second. William fell down to the floor and his chest is stepped on by Midnight…How did he fail that one maneuver? Simple, William temporarily forgot that Siren higher ups seemingly possess the ability to teleported themselves anywhere with portals. So, Midnight have been saving it up in case he really couldn't avoid any sure kill attack. Midnight summoned his obsidian longsword from the floor, William immediately racked his brain for a way out…and he found one. There's a fire extinguisher near them and William shot out his grappling hook toward it, the hook attacked itself to the tube and William yanked the extinguisher toward Midnight who only flinched a bit when the tube hit him. But William didn't do that to stall Midnight, he did that to distract him as he perform the same trick he did on Furushima.

"Aibou, anti-flash mode" William said out loud.

"Anti-flashbang engaged" Aibou notified William.

BANG!

While Midnight is distracted by the fire extinguisher that hit him in the head, William summoned a flashbang and pulled the pin. Then he throw it toward Midnight's face, having learned his lesson in holding armed flashbang with his hand. Anti-flash is among the new update that the HQ scientist put, it allowed his armor to temporarily block any incoming high pitched noise so the flashbang won't affect his hearing. His helmet visor is already attuned to reduce the effect of the flash grenade from the start so they only implement the hearing part. The flashbang exploded, but Midnight remain unfazed. William is also confused since it worked the last time!

"…You're not the only one who learned from the past" Midnight said to William.

"Let's do this the hard way then" William said to Midnight with half closed eye.

It seems he have to put his backup plan in motion…William fired his grappling hook toward Midnight's face and he naturally avoided the hook, but he won't fall for the same trick twice as he keep bringing his sword down toward William's chest. William engaged his jet thrusters and he successfully escaped from Midnight's feet, he immediately corrected his course and fly toward Midnight in full speed. The Siren hummed as he swung his blade toward William, that's when William decided to use his wrist blade. He extended his blades and used the left one to stop Midnight's blade swing by stabbing his unarmored right wrist, at the same time, William extended his right one to hit Midnight's head as he fly past him. The result?

CRACK!

…William jet thruster died down as he landed on the floor and he looked to the rear…Yellow blood are spilled on the floor along with a severed right hand that held an obsidian longsword, the owner of said hand looked at his lower right arm which is slowly being covered by his armor's undersuit that stopped the bleeding. The Siren then proceed to stare at William, what he saw is enough for William to grin wickedly under his helmet…Midnight's helmet has a huge slash damage on the visor part, it revealed the creature beneath the jet black armor. His skin is as white as a Siren and his right eye is glowing yellow, his left one produced sparks and thin black smoke…It looks to be…cybernetic, in nature…The Siren gives out low chuckle as he took the sword from his severed hand, holding it with his left and swung it few times. William himself stood up and walked to grab his broadsword that is stuck on the wall, he easily pulled out the blade and walked toward Midnight casually.

"Now this…is most interesting" Midnight said to William as he walked toward the approaching man.

Both combatant pick up their speed before they dashed forward and clashed blades once more, Midnight might have lost one hand but it doesn't put any hindrance on his combat ability. William however, become even more ferocious than before, his blows are even stronger that it caused Midnight to be on defensive more often, his movement became faster as he able to force the Siren to stay on his toes and his strikes? They are filled with killing intent, each blow that's being delivered is filled with the raw desire to crush the opponent in front of him…His training, his effort, it finally bear fruit. He managed to make one of the Siren higher ups bleed, without having to rely on heavy weaponry. Now, he have the power to take the fight to them. And he shall prove it, by killing Midnight right here and now!

CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK!

Both of them kept trading blows with one another, bit by bit, the spectator could see that William have the upper hand in the fight. Midnight seems to be mostly on the defensive, deflecting blows or dodging then repositioning himself. William's strength and stamina seems relentless, every time Midnight relocated himself then William would soon be there and with his blade swinging…Eventually, after relentlessly attacking the Siren around the area for two minutes, William stopped himself…Something is off. Why would he just taking his attacks? Midnight doesn't seems to be the defensive type, he appears to be more flexible as he can switch between offense and defense easily…heck, he can even switch his swordsmanship style on the fly too…So why didn't he attack him?!

"Come on alien, you tired?" William asked Midnight.

"…Not in the slightest…Let's see what other trick you have under your sleeves" Midnight said to William.

…Of course, the Siren is studying him! William have to do the same, so far Midnight is just as he remembered with the exception of flashbang immunity and using his teleportation skill…Well, all the more reason to kill the bastard right here and now. William raised his broadsword and dashed forward while being aided with his jet thruster, Midnight immediately raised his blade as he prepared for the attack. William swung his blade at Midnight with upwards left diagonal slash, the Siren deflect the blade strike before using the momentum to spin and slashed William's rear side. His energy shielding immediately flared up and depleted from a single slash alone, the alarm was beeping and William quickly spun his body around while swinging his broadsword once again. "Warning?" William asked Nyx.

"…Let me search it…Ah yes, your doctor appointment this noon" Nyx said out loud as he tapped his left temple.

"What!? How did you-" William asked out loud as his eye widened.

"And so what? You're going to kidnap me?" William asked Nyx while he scowled.

"Oof, such accusation! No, I believe The Sirens didn't work with such crass method. I believe they will conduct test on you, I'm not sure about the method though, so you have to be prepared from now on" Nyx said to William.

"Test? What do you gain from that huh?" William asked Nyx.

"Not me, The Sirens will and I don't know what they will gain from that…since I don't know the details yet" Nyx said to William.

"You speak as if you're not part of them, why?" William asked Nyx.

"I'll let you figure that one out yourself. You might not be the brightest person, but I believe you're not as dense as a neutron star…A word of advice from me though. You need to have patience and resolve, you're in for a long fight, make sure you didn't break down before the storm pass" Nyx said to William as he stared at him.

Nyx donned their armor and seems to be in contact with them at some capacity. How else can he get the info he's given to William? He must be in contact with Observer Alpha. But if Nyx is a bona-fide Siren, then why did he help him by leaking information or giving hints? Why work to undermine Siren effort if you're one of them? Though, he never mentioned that he's part of the Siren. He always mentioned the Siren as 'The Siren', every action that the Siren will or have took? Nyx mentioned it with 'They/them' and when William asked him about it he only mentioned that 'I'll let you figure that one out yourself'…Is he a sleeper agent? But from who? Humanity itself? That doesn't make sense, Lucas or Erich would've notify him the moment they got Intel regarding Nyx. Is he a sympathizer to humanity's cause among the Sirens? Doesn't seems to be the case. He didn't lead any Siren forces in the frontline but he has access to what The Sirens higher ups are planning? He must have important standing within their ranks…What are his purpose? What is he aiming for by helping William? Then there's that words…'Trust me, I know'…Is he a survivor?

…William have more speculation, but he decided that for now he will treat Nyx as a wild card. Until his allegiance and purpose are clear to William, he will take his words with a grain of salt. Something to be mindful of, but don't let it occupy his brain thought process 24/7. Besides, he didn't really give him a lot to go on, Siren wants to experiment on him? Then safe to say, he can't be captured. Who knows what are those things planning for him, William couldn't imagine that it'll be anything enjoyable. Regardless of everything that just happened and the risk it may possess, William want to report this to Lucas and Lena, both know how to keep their mouth shut so there's less chance that the Siren could find out that their plans are leaked…Midnight may risk his life in delivering the information, to see further development, William decide to keep the info tight between the people he trust completely. Little by little, he'll uncover what Nyx's role in this war…But William secretly hoped that, he could be his ally…maybe he could spill everything regarding The Sirens, then they could start formulating a plan to defeat them for good…

Almost all of ship girls on Eagle Union Eastern Coast have rendezvoused on ALS Terranova and will be participating in the assault, they are the key in defeating the Orochi…The mass produced ships alongside Terranova will provide saturation attack against Siren mass produced ships and paved a way for the KANSENs to face Orochi, the carriers will make sure the sky is clear, the cruisers alongside destroyers will keep their position secured from any approaching Siren KANSENs, the submarines will make sure nothing underwater could threaten their formation…That leaves their battleships who will pound Orochi from the distance…Eagle Union Big Sevens have arrived yesterday and the three of them immediately agreed to the plan, Enterprise will be coordinating the KANSENs with Amagi as the advisor. But, William is here? Then why didn't he take command of them to assault Orochi?

It was the dilemma that Lucas himself have trouble with, William is ALASUC leader but the ground assault will definitely need his participation. Lena herself will be the one who lead the ground assault, Lucas will be in charge of commanding ALS Terranova and the massive fleet. There's even a video of him dueling against Midnight that's taken by one of the civilians being held inside the station and that included his speech which the point being 'We're not done yet, we can still fight and we'll do it as one!'…There are many fan-arts of him popping out on Portxiv or other site, there's art of William as he strike a pose both unarmed and armed with his signature weapon, being outnumbered by dozens of Siren but he held his ground with confidence, there's few where he lead the ship girls and when he interacted with the marines or the armed forces in general…It's war in 21st century where everyone basically has their personal camera, of course there would be a lot of reference photo that could be used.

Lucas was quick to use the situation as a way to boost morale all across the planet and it's not just William whose figure littered the front page most of the time, there are few others that performed incredibly that they are seen as a hero as well. For example, everyone now heard that there are deadly airborne predator with the name Morpho who's ridding a light blue F-22 Raptor. Whenever his color are seen in the sky, the ground forces have confidence that the air battle with the Siren will be won that day. The moment both William and Morpho are sighted at the same time? Then the soldiers could safely say that the day is saved when both heroes are fighting in tandem. William have been especially working hard, he spend majority of day by being busy. Forming up plan with Lena and Lucas, going on a patrol to help with few stranglers on the frontline, he led ship girl patrol groups to help with fleet security by taking out any Siren that got too close to them and spending his time with the new ship girls that just joined ALASUC. There are lots of pent up frustration and pressure he gathered during the day, one which he took out on Belfast by the night. Well…shit, things get south in real life and this had to be delayed for weeks.
