Another reason for this is because I have all these things I've written but I have nothing to do with them. So sorry, no context or plot. Just fluffy little nuggets. Don't own anything.

There's a loud boom as a rocket crashes into the ground. Cindy stops breathing. Was it him?

The idiot hairstyle appears, followed by the rest of his body.

He's alive.

Her emotions carry her out to sea like a boat without a rudder, and she is powerless against it. She lets out a scream that would rival any banshee. "James Isaac Neutron!"

His eyes are wide as she crosses to him."What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? How dare you! Do you think it's funny to face an asteroid by yourself? You could have died!" She hits him on the shoulder.

"Ouch, that hurt, Vortex!" he pauses. "Wait, were you worried about me? It sounds like you were," he teases.

Cindy decides she'll be angry about that later. She answers with a kiss that says everything she can't. For a moment, she's afraid that he will pull away, but then his fingers gently brush along her jaw. The kiss ends much too quickly.

She rests her forehead against his. "I'm coming with you next time, you idiot."

"Uh- guys?" a quiet voice interjects. She recognizes it as Carl.

Oh, yeah.

She steps back to see their three friends watching them. Libby is grinning at her. No, the right word would be beaming. Carl is wide-eyed, and Sheen has a smart smirk on his lips. She's confident that she is blushing to every extremity, even the tips of her hair.

Neutron doesn't even acknowledge their friends; he merely turns her face back to his. The look in his eyes makes her feel like she's flint waiting for a spark.

"People are watching," she warns.

He caresses her cheek with his palm. "I don't care, do you?"

Her mouth goes dry as heat pounds through her blood at his words. She answers with another kiss.

"Oh, boy. Maybe we should give them some privacy?" Libby asks.

"To the Candy Bar!"

Cindy wraps her arms around the boy genius, pulling him as close to her as he can get. Goddard barks at her heels.

But she's lost in lips that sear her very soul.
