This is a long one guys, bear with me please. :)
Saints & Sinners
Issei woke up the next morning, once again trapped by the Fallen Angel Akeno Himejima. He went to sit up and find his phone. However, he stopped when the fallen angel growled at him. Laying back down seemed to ease the naked girl on him. The memories of the night before were still fresh in his mind. The things Akeno said, the way she felt, everything.
He gently rubbed her back and chuckled. "Who woulda thought that you were so scared of being alone?" His memories went back to Raynare. The first Fallen Angel that he loved. 'No, no. Akeno deserves love. All that bitch deserved was the painful death Rias gave her.'
Akeno awoke to his voice. "Morning." The smiled on her face could ignite an extinguished star.
"You seem happy."
"Of course I am. I might finally get to have your child. T-That way I can be linked to you forever."
Issei put her hand in his and swung them through the air. "Silly, you were stuck with me since that day with your father." He instantly realized his mistake when the thousand-watt smile faded. "I'm sorry, Akeno."
"Don't be. It's a good memory too. That was the first time I felt like a normal girl. It was also the first time I could genuinely say I loved someone." Her cheeks were a bright shade of red. In order to keep his eyes from seeing them, she leaned in and kissed him.
The two continued their make out session until a certain throat clearance caught their attention. Asia stood at the door and tried not to be embarrassed.
"I-Issei, breakfast is almost ready." She stuttered as she looked away from Akeno's naked body.
"Alright, we'll be down in a minute." He chuckled at her red face. "Don't worry, Asia. You'll have your day."
"I know." The blonde smiled and shut the door.
Akeno groaned as Issei rolled out from under her. "Time to get up." He laughed at her pouting face.
"No fair. I wanted to try again." The Fallen Angel pulled the bed sheet up and covered herself.
"Wow, now you're covering your body. Asia's already gone."
"Shush."
They both broke out in laughter and Issei left the room to go find his wife. He walked into the kitchen to only find Asia. She was hard at work making a large breakfast for everyone. She jumped as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her.
"You work way too hard Asia." He held her in his arms for a minute.
"I can't help myself. I want to prove that I am good enough to be here." Her eyes hit the floor.
"Asia. You'll always be good enough. You were the first real friend I had. Now you are one of the women that I hold near and dear to my heart. That being said, today is about you and me." That caught her attention.
"Really?"
"Really."
A certain Phoenix walked into the kitchen just in time to find Asia kissing Issei with all the strength she could muster. She started to back away, but Issei caught her.
"Morning Ravel."
"Good morning Issei, and you too Asia." She said with very flushed cheeks.
"I-I'm sorry Ravel. I didn't know you were there." Asia was embarrassed. Not ten minutes ago, she caught Akeno doing the same thing with Issei.
"Don't worry about it. I've caught him doing worse." Ravel instantly shushed herself.
"Oh? Do tell." Issei was intrigued. As far as he knew, Ravel had never been around him when he was with anyone. Except that one time… "You saw that?"
"Yes." Her voice was soft and sheepish.
"Saw what?" Asia stood confused.
"I saw Issei and Rias together the night when Rias and Akeno got drunk." Her cheeks were now the shade of Rias' hair.
"I'm sorry Ravel. I wish you didn't see that." He moved over and embraced the shorter girl as a way of saying sorry.
"It's all in the past. Asia, did Issei say it was your day with him today?"
"Yes. He said that." She quickly latched to his arm and smiled.
"Then allow me to fix breakfast. Issei knows I make great pancakes." She boasted. The proud Phoenix never missed a chance to boast.
"The best I've ever had if I remember correctly." Issei chuckled.
Soon enough, every girl was down and enjoying the large pancake breakfast that Ravel had prepared. Everyone had to admit that Ravel was definitely a great cook. After everyone ate their fill, most everyone began to leave and help clean dishes. But when Asia stood to do so, Rias stopped her.
"Asia. Shouldn't you be getting ready for your day out?" Rias asked her.
"O-Of course." Asia jumped up and ran upstairs to get changed leaving Issei and Rias laughing.
"What time will you be home?" She asked him.
"I don't know. I don't plan to stay out past dinner. So, if I had to say, around 7:30." Issei stood and hugged his wife. "Come to think of it, we haven't done anything like that in a long time."
"Then I expect to be treated to a nice evening out." She kissed him softly. "Now, go make Asia as happy as she's ever been."
"As you wish, my King." He bowed and she just giggled.
Issei walked back out into the living room after a quick change of clothes. He wore a pair of dark jeans and a blue t-shirt. His phone rang as he waited by the door.
"Hello?" Issei answered.
"Hey Issei."
"Vali, what's up?"
"Just checking in on you. Hate to have you die before we get to do a real fight. Also, a fair warning. The HDAA has been active again. Since Valdos in still in Hell, a new leader was elected. His goes by Syn."
"Thanks for the head's up Vali. I owe you one."
"Don't sweat it. Just keeping my rival alive, for now." Vali hung up.
Issei leaned up against the door and thought for a moment before a sweet melodic voice brought him back down to Earth.
"Who was that Issei?" Asia asked as she bounced up to him. The smile on her face showed all her excitement. She was wearing a bright yellow sundress. A white skirt and white shoes. Asia Argento was the image of purity despite her being a devil.
"Just Vali checking in." He hoped she would buy it. Due to her unwavering blind faith in him, she didn't question.
"Okay then. Let's get going." She grabbed his hand and pulled him out the door. "Can we take the BMW?"
"Sure. Any reason why?"
"N-No. None at all." Her face went bright pink. Clearly, she had something in mind. "I just figured that it's sat forever, we might as well take it out."
"Not a bad idea. Let me go grab the keys." He patted her head and walked back inside.
'Maybe I can convince him to do it now. Since we'll be out alone and…' Her train of thought shocked her enough to stop. "No, no, no. What are you saying Asia?"
"That depends, what was Asia saying?" Issei asked as he shut the door and scared her.
"Oh… uh… hi Issei."
"Hi Asia. Ready to go?"
"Sure."
They got in the large sedan and Issei started the drive into the larger part of the city. Soon enough they reached a small area that was a popular spot amongst youth. They parked the large car and proceeded on foot. Asia looked around and noticed where they were.
"Issei? Is this the park that you took me to on our first date?" She asked.
"You called that a date?" Issei asked. He always thought that it was just two friends hanging out. To think she called it a date.
"Yea. It was the day that I realized I loved you. It also helped that you saved my life that night." She twiddled her thumbs as. "I don't think I ever properly thanked you for that." Her gaze stayed near the sidewalk.
"Asia." He pulled her into a loving embrace. "You thanked me by being alive. When you died that night in the church, I had one thought in my mind. Please God, or Satan, or whoever. Please let me trade my life for hers."
"Really?"
"Asia, I love you. You know that don't you?" He waited for her to nod her head. "Then I want you to do me a favor." He dropped to one knee in front of the little pond and pulled out a little box. "Asia Argento. Will you marry me?"
The ex nun was speechless to say the least as her hands flew up to her mouth. She had expected him to bring her out for a nice day out, but this was too much. Realizing she hadn't answered him she removed her hands from her mouth.
She stepped forward to answer him but tripped on a raised section of concrete. The blonde fell face forward into Issei's arms. Luckily, Issei seemed to have anticipated this and caught her. Unluckily, the force of her fall pushed them both over the little wall and into the water.
"I'm sorry Issei. I ruined everything." Her eyes began to tear up.
Seeing her distress, Issei kissed her to calm her down. "It wouldn't be you if you didn't fall over Asia. You didn't ruin anything, I promise."
"Yes." Her eyes kept leaking, but for a different reason this time. "I will marry you." Asia broke down and cried into his embrace. "This is the happiest day of my life Issei."
"The wedding will be better." He kissed her head as the sat in the water and held each other. "Come on. Let's get out of these clothes."
They proceeded to go shopping and Asia picked out a cute blue jumper and skirt set. After the purchase, she quickly changed into her new outfit. She twirled around and the skirt flew up enough for Issei to see underneath. "So, what do you think?" She asked him.
"Beautiful." He chuckled. "Skirt is a little short though."
Noticing the skirt had risen and showed her pure white panties, she quickly pulled it down. "Oh goodness. I hope nobody saw that."
"No one but me." Issei continued to laugh. "Ready to go?"
The two were soon seated at table at a nearby burger joint. Asia was still embarrassed about her incident earlier. The two had a bit of small talk and Asia stared at how her new ring gleamed in the sun. The stunning quartz gemstone was a bright yellow and in certain lights it was orange.
"Issei? Why does my ring change colors?" Asia asked as her face contorted to get a different angle on the gem.
"Oh that? There are two gems in that ring. One of quartz, and the other is a piece of my center chest piece. The red armor was able to be crystalized into a gem. If you look close at Rias' wedding ring, it has a piece of the emerald orb with the ruby inside."
"What about the other girls?"
What about them?"
"Do they have rings?"
In truth Issei had yet to propose to the others. He had made himself a promise that Asia would be first to reward her for making her wait.
"No, not yet. Rias does because we're already married, and you do because… well… I just proposed. The others will get theirs. All in due time."
"Issei?"
"Yes, Asia?"
"Who's your favorite? After Rias I mean." Asia's face was so innocent. She wasn't trying to compete, she just wanted to know where she stood.
"You know I can't pick a favorite Asia. However, I do have and idea of which one of you loved me first."
"Y-You do?" Asia knew he was onto her.
"Of course. It was obviously you." He sipped his drink as the waiter took the payment for the meal. "The rivalry you started between you and Rias was proof enough of that. You both wanted to stay beside me for as long as possible."
"And I still do. Issei, if you die, I don't know if I could bear it." Her eyes started to water. "I don't think I would have any other choice but to join you in death."
"That wouldn't make you the first to say that."
"Huh? Who else said that?"
"Akeno. She's emotionally broken and is very attached to me. I don't blame her either. We all need someone to trust completely. It seems that for all of you, that person is me."
"Of course. You've done so much for us." Another though popped into Asia's head. "Can we go home?"
"Why?"
"I just want to go home." The smile on her face made it clear she wasn't sad or angry.
"Sure, let's go."
The two devils returned to the car and started the drive home. Soon enough, the car pulled into the driveway. They walked inside to find the table set for dinner and Rias feeding Elizabeth. Asia's instinct told her to go help, but she had another idea.
"Issei can we go to my room?"
He thought it strange. The only time he'd seen Asia's room was back when his parents were still around, before Sirzechs turned the house into a mansion. "I don't see why not." He followed her lead and eventually came upon the room. "Wow, is it really that late?" The clock on her nightstand read 20:00 (8:00 pm)
"It seems we stayed out later than I thought." Her voice was low and quiet.
"Asia? Why did you ask me up here?"
"Because I wanted to sleep with my fiancé. Just the two of us." She quickly pushed him to the bed and laid down on him.
Issei shot a quick text to Rias telling her where he was and to not let the other two of the church trio come in. Afterwards, he held Asia as she soon fell asleep on him. It didn't take long for him to follow suit. Asia was his fiancé now. Next objective was to find a way to propose to the others.
