The Snyder Farm

Noah held their son in his arms feeding him milk from the bottle with Luke looking on as he smiled, glad that he was finally a father along with their son Lucas. Cheryl giving birth to him was not easy for her as she went to labor when the birth was about to happen but thankfully Luke and Noah were there to guide including assist her during that hard time. Luckily Cheryl was able to bring Lucas into the world as both men were shocked, emotional but also relieved as well. Calling his mom and dad, they were able to come down to the hospital during the blackout to see their grandchild, well adopted grandchild and the two loved Lucas ever since. That's why they were on their out of Oakdale and back to California so they can raise their child together but not without saying goodbye to their loved ones first. Lilly, Holden, Jack, Carly, Parker, Faith, Ethan, and JJ were all were to say their goodbyes. Most of them were either by the couch looking at Lucas or the rest of them sat or stood seeing the little one. Lilly and Holden were proud to be grandparents of their grandson Lucas as they couldn't wait to have their son bring him around more often hopefully.

Luke - "So dad, how does it feel to be a grandfather?"

Holden - "Honestly, not going to say old but it feels really good. Lucas is going to learn so much about the farm when he grows up after you guys bring him here for some visits"

Lilly - "Not only that but teach Lucas how to ride a horse, correct Holden?"

Holden - "And plenty of other things to as I got them all planned out"

Luke - *Grins* "Well first how about we let him at least enjoy his childhood outside of the farm? I mean at least he'll have fun at the park and maybe Disneyworld too some day, right Noah?"

Noah - "That includes the first moments of him growing up, when he crawls, says his first words, were going to have such a great life with Lucas"

Jack - "Enjoy the moment you two as parents, being a dad is such a great gift. Just ask Holden and I, we experienced all of it together"

Holden - "We did and while the times were tough at the end of the day we loved you guys. You guys made us into responsible parents"

Parker - "Though we did make it hard on you guys for our mistakes, especially me"

Carly - "Don't beat yourself up Parker, you live and you learn from your experiences. Just like we all know Lucas is going to grow up and learn from his experiences too"

Faith - "And not only that, our child is going to learn a lot from his family when he comes into the world"

Holden - "Man…were going to have more grandchildren, aren't we Lilly?

Lilly - "Yes we will Holden, were going to be so busy these next few years"

Jack - "And the two of us as well despite this little kiddo keeping us company every day"

Jack tickle CJ a little bit before he kisses her on the forehead.

Parker - "What about Alison and Casey though? Has everything been finalized for their adoption of their baby?"

Luke - "Yeah, I spoke to them this morning and they're leaving Oakdale today to go back to Carbondale. Their son is beautiful, Alison sent me the pictures and he's just adorable. Tom finalized the adoption for us after we signed so were all good"

Lilly - "Those children are now in the hands of good people who will be good parents. Were confident in you and Noah, Luke"

Luke - "Thanks mom, how did everything go at Wildwind the other day with the board meeting?"

Lilly - "Let's just say that me and mister Wells are now co-owners of Wildwind after what your grandmother did to help me Lucas. I could be out of a job right now"

Holden - "And you're not out of a job, you're still in the game. We all know you're going to give Wells a run for his money"

Carly - "Just be careful Lilly, Wells can't be trusted anyway and since he's the son of you know who, he'll play dirty"

Holden - "No worries but thank you, I got all the tools I need to counter everything he does. He ain't seen nothing yet"

Noah - "There is a bright to all of this, were all happy and successful especially this time around when everything is going well for us. But we should get going, right Luke?"

Luke - "Yeah, we don't want to be late for so that our plane takes off without us"

Luke and Noah gather everything before Noah places Lucas in the stroller. Holden opens the door for them as the couple leaves with their adoptive son before Luke and Noah looks back at the family and smile.

Luke - "Well this is it, it was nice seeing all of you when we stayed here. It felt like old times all over again you know?"

Noah - "Yes but California is calling on us to come return so we can't be late"

Holden - "Take of yourself guys and our grandson too"

Lilly - "We love you so much and we'll miss you. Just call us when you get back home"

Luke hugs his parents before Noah and Luke hug everyone else before they get into the car. Noah sits in the backseat with Lucas who's in his own baby seat before Luke starts the car and then drives off from the Snyder farm. Everyone who was in the home with Noah and Luke during their visit waves goodbye to them, as Lilly was nearly in tears while Holden comforts her. Jack wraps his arm around Holden and Luke, just like Casey and Alison were glad to be a part of Oakdale for so many years when they grew up in this town. All of them had their faults, their good and bad moments but now all of them were parents, living the life of responsibility but being good role models to all of them. But as Luke drives, Noah checks on Lucas to see him slowly going to sleep before he noticed something different about the baby. The way he looked and the colors of his eyes…this wasn't their child, could it have been not theres? Noah looked away from Lucas, thinking of that same thought in his mind. If Lucas wasn't their child then that means…Alison and Casey's child was actually Luke and Noah's own child. The two babies were switched but it couldn't be true, right?

Noah didn't want to ruin this moment so instead Noah sat back looks at Lucas and says nothing as his face was filled with regret.

The Hughes Residence (Bob and Kim's Home)

Pulling up to his mom and Bob's home, Andy Dixon got out his car and looked up at the home he stayed in from time to time as a kid growing up. It gave him so many memories when he was a teenager, and having him talk to both mom and Bob about what he was going through made it better. Bob was such a good father figure to the man, more than his dad obviously despite John being in Andy's life so much. But this was no some occasional visit, all this was about is his daughter Hope who was still going through the affects of her rape. Andy has made visit's here and there recently when it comes to his daughter, as every time they spoke to one another Hope has resisted speaking that much about the rape and what happened. It still boiled Andy to the core that someone violated his own daughter like that for no reason. That person, that man whoever he is should pay the absolute price, but as Andy walked up to the door and rang the bell. Andy's cell phone went off as he took it out and saw Sonni's name on the ID before he moaned and groaned. This wasn't the time or place to call him for another one of her orders of shenanigans before taking it out to answer her, hopefully for the last time.

Andy - "What do you want? Sonni listen I have no time for this, I need to be there for my daughter you know that. Really? Again? After all the sick games you put me and Mindy through?"

Andy shook his head before the door started to open and there was his mother Kim, who had a disappointed look on her face. Andy smiled before he spoke to his mom then looked at his cell phone before putting his hand on the button.

Andy - "I'll speak to you later, bye…mom, hey, sorry if I am interrupting anything between you and Bob but is Hope here? I'm here to see her"

Kim - "You show up all of the sudden and now you want to see Hope? Are you serious?"

Andy - "What? Did something happen while I was gone?"

Kim sighed before she moved out of the way to let Andy come in as she closed the door behind him. It was obvious from how Kim felt, Andy did something wrong whether it was intentional or not. Now wasn't the time to go in on her son but she couldn't help but feel worried about Andy himself.

Andy - "Mom, what's wrong?"

Kim - "Where have you been lately Andy? Do you know your daughter has been asking for you?"

Andy - "Mom, you know I have been there for Hope after the rape. Visiting her is not enough? I wanted to give her some space, she just went through a traumatic experience"

Kim - "And I understand that Andy but you leaving and disappearing a time like this is unacceptable to Hope. You have to know that, you didn't answer my question…where have you been?"

Andy - "Taking care of business mom"

Kim - "What does that mean…taking care of business? Andy if you're going to avenge Hope's violator and take the law into your own hands-"

Andy - "Mom please, that's not me to do something like that. The law is going to take care of the bastard who hurt my daughter"

Kim - "Then I will ask one final time…where have you truly been all this time while visiting here and there for Hope"

Andy - "Like I told you before mom, taking care of business and other matters is what I have been up to. Now if you excuse me I need to see my daughter, is that a problem?"

The door of Bob and Kim's home opens and Bob comes into the home with two bags of groceries in his hand surprised to see Andy.

Bob - "Oh hey Andy, when did you get back?"

Andy - "Just now Bob, it's good to see you but I need to be there for Hope"

Andy walks up the stairs as Kim looks on and shakes her head, rubbing her forehead. Closing the door, Bob noticed Kim wasn't okay since he missed out on seeing Andy earlier.

Bob - "Everything okay Kim?"

Kim - "I wish it was Bob, there's no way of telling what's going on in Andy's head or what he's been doing lately. You know how Hope misses and needs him"

Bob - "Did he tell you the reason?"

Kim - "More like he danced around it Bob, Andy's hiding something and he won't tell me. I'm mean he's my son, if Andy's got an issue or is in trouble he would of told me by now"

Bob - "Kim, let him handle whatever he needs to take care of including Hope. The only thing we can do is support him"

Kim - "You're right, maybe I am being too confrontational Bob. Backing off, not pressuring maybe a good idea. It sounds like he has a lot on his plate"

Bob - "Andy will come around, so will Hope my dear. For now how about we go to the kitchen and placed the groceries inside of the fridge. Then we can relax and watch tv, but we'll let Andy and Hope be alone"

Kim - "Sounds like heaven to me"

Kim smiles and kisses Bob before they go to the kitchen, while upstairs Andy reaches his room. Knocking on it, Andy opens the door to see his daughter who has her back to him on his bed and laying on the side.

Andy - "Hope, honey? It's me, your dad"

Andy comes inside and walks up to the bed slowly before stopping at the foot of it. It felt too quiet but he was surprised the room wasn't a mess since back then Andy was kind of lazy from cleaning up as a teenager.

Andy - "Are you okay? You know I am here for you sweetheart, I would do anything for you baby. I'm not leaving your side "

Hope still wasn't answering so Andy looked around the room before he noticed a chair that he always sat in when Andy was a kid. Taking the chair, Andy puts it down on the other side of the bed where he could see her, as she wasn't happy at all. He could tell her eyes were red and tired, so obviously she was crying earlier on in the day and looked miserable. Now Andy couldn't touch her or move on since Hope would feel bugged out, jumping and flinching at the feel of anyone physically doing something, and even it was for comfort. Andy just reminded himself to take his time with Hope and wait for her to come around, because she will. As a little girl when she had a bad day or something didn't go right, Hope wanted to be alone before coming back feeling fine and alright. The only thing was in this situation, it wasn't going to be okay just like that and Andy was going to be patient with her. The trauma, the affects of rape were not easy to brush to the side as Hope was going to have nightmares, even flashbacks to that terrible ordeal. Andy's heart broke feeling that there was nothing he could of do about it. What's even worse is that he has to put up with this other chick named Sonni or everything about Andy would get blow through the sky.
