Yukin went looking for Soto when he escaped the hospital. When he found him, he was dueling Drewsin. Then, Soto just disappeared. Drewsin claimed he was sent back to Promin Academy. Yukin wanted answers, but before he could get anything, a guy on a motorcycle showed up.
"Who is that?" Yukin said. The guy was in a white suite for riding with a black stripe running down his chest. He wore silver pads over his shoulder and had a black metal band over his left arm. He removed his helmet and showed he had blonde hair in a scissor-cut-style. Yukin didn't know who he was, but Drewsin seemed to.
"You..." Drewsin said.
"Looks like I finally found you."
"What's going on now? Who is that guy?" Yukin questioned.
"His name is Huo." Drewsin said.
"I'm not letting you get away this time." Huo said as he put his helmet back on and drove right towards them. Yukin and Drewsin moved out of the way as Huo drove through. Yukin spotted something strange about Huo's motorcycle. It looked like there was a duel disk attached to it.
"You want to settle things? Fine." Drewsin said as he activated his duel disk. Huo had his ready to go as they were starting their duel.
"Let's duel!" Drewsin and Huo said as they were beginning their duel.
"Is that guy seriously going to duel on a motorcycle?" Yukin questioned.
"He is because that's not a motorcycle. That's a duel runner." Drewsin said. "You might want to stay out of the way. I'm making the first move! I'll start by placing three cards facedown. That ends my turn."
"That's it?! Lame!" Huo said as he drove around on his runner. "Let me show you how it's done. I'll start by summoning Speeder Centi to the field!" He summoned out a mechanical centipede to the field as it had 1700atk points. "Next, I activate Speeder Centi's ability. When he's summoned to the field, if I happen to have a speeder tuner monster in my hand, I can summon it out as well. That's why I'm summoning out Speeder Dice!" He summoned out a yellow dice that has an eye in the one spot and has 100atk points.
"Did he say Speeder? How can a centipede and a dice be fast?" Yukin questioned.
"His specialty is synchro summoning. He summons multiple monsters to do that." Drewsin said.
"That's exactly what I'm going to do!" Huo said. "I tune my level one Speeder Dice with level four Speeder Centi!" The dice turned into a green circle as it went around the centipede with it breaking into four stars with a beam shooting through. "I synchro summon Speeder Charger!" He summoned a blue mechanical creature with it having wheels for feet and a large lance attached to it. It also had 2100atk points. "Next, I activate a spell called Speeder Recovery. This allows me to bring back a speeder. Come back to the party, Speeder Centi!" His centipede came back on the field.
"This doesn't look good." Yukin said.
"Speeder Charger, attack him directly since he's defenseless!" Huo said as his monster charged at him.
"I activate Emergency Provisions!" Drewsin said. "For each spell and trap card I send to the graveyard, I gain a 1000LP." He got rid of his only two cards as his life points increased to 6000. "Now I can use the effects of my two cards that I sent to the graveyard." That was when two black unicorns with knights holding spears appeared on the field with 1000def points.
"What are those?" Huo said.
"Shadow Raider Strikers." Drewsin said. "They might be spell cards, but when they leave the field, they become monsters."
"I'll just take them out! Charger and Centi, take them both out!" Huo said. Both of his monsters attacked. His charger fired a laser and his centipede launched some electricity. Both of Drewsin's monsters were destroyed, but Drewsin didn't lose any life points. "I end my turn. Since my turn ends, Charger's ability activates! You take 400 points of damage for each Speeder on the field! Since I've got two, you're taking 800 points of damage!" Charger fired a laser from his lance and blasted Drewsin with it as his life points dropped to 5200. Yukin looked and saw some agression from that attack. They're dueling with anger and Yukin hated it.
"No. This isn't right." Yukin said as he hated dueling being used like this. Huo pulled over to face Drewsin.
"It's your turn. That's assuming you even have the guts." Huo said.
"Just watch me! I draw" Drewsin said as he drew his next card. "I'll start by activating Shadow Surprise! I can now take two Shadow Raider traps and summon them as monsters and negate their special abilities. I summon two Shadow Raider Catapults to the field!" He summoned out his catapults as they came out with zero attack points. "I now overlay my two level four Shadow Raider Catapults!" Both of them became energy and joined together in a vortex. "From the shadows and controls the dark, he shows no mercy to his enemies! I xyz summon Shadow Shudamin!" Shudamin came on the field with 2500atk points. When he did, Yukin saw Sapphire Serapho glowing again.
"Why is it glowing again?" Yukin said. "It happened when he summoned that monster earlier. How can this be happening?"
"I activate Shadow Shudamin's ability!" Drewsin said. "I use one overlay unit to absorb half of your monster's attack points! Dark Voltage!" Shudamin took one unit and absorbed some of Speeder Charger's power. Charger's power dropped to 1050 while Shadow Shudamin's rose to 3550. "Shadow Shudamin, attack Speeder Charger with Shadow Piercing Strike!" Shadow Shudamin flew at Speeder Charger with power building in his hand. It struck Speeder Charger and destroyed it with Huo's life points dropping to 1500. The force of the attack caused some damage in the park as it created powerful shockwaves. "I place one card facedown and end my turn." Since it's the end of his turn, Shudamin's attack points dropped back to normal.
"Stop it!" Yukin called as he stood in Drewsin's way. "Look at what you're doing. Look at the damage you're causing. This isn't how you duel. How are you even causing real damage in the first place?"
"It's Promin Academy's technology. I was able to swipe some of it." Drewsin said. "We're using their own weapon against them."
"But that's not why you should duel. This shows that you're not better than they are." Yukin said. "I know you had to have dueled for fun before. That's the only reason you should be dueling. Do you really want all of that to be taken away?" His words seem to have gotten through to Drewsin.
"Hey!" Huo called. "I don't really care about what you think you're doing or whatever. I just want Rini back."
"Rini? Who's Rini?" Yukin questioned.
"My friend who I am going to save!" Huo said as he drew his next card and started riding again. "I summon Speeder Biplane to the field!" He summoned a biplane with eyes to the field with it having 1000atk points. "I now activate my biplane's ability! I can sacrifice him to summon one of my speed buddies that are in my graveyard. I'm bringing back Speeder Dice!" His plane vanished and summoned out his dice to the field.
"Huo, stop! You're dueling with rage and anger!" Yukin said, but Huo refuses to listen.
"Since I special summoned a monster, I can summon Speeder Yo-Yo to the field!" Huo said as he summoned a little robot with two large green yo-yos as arms and had 1500atk points. "I now activate Speeder Dice's special ability. I roll a dice and whatever number it lands on becomes his level."
"He's trying to synchro summon again!" Yukin said.
'I'll be fine. I can activate my trap when he attacks. My trap is Vital Strike. When he attacks, I'll have our monsters switch attack points.' Drewsin thought. His dice was rolled and it landed on three.
"Yes! Three! Perfect!" Huo said. "That means that my dice becomes a level three monster. That's exactly what I need. I now tune my level three Speeder Dice with my level four Speeder Centi!" The same thing happed as before, but Speeder Dice divided into three circles. "Fly high and generate a whirlwind!" A beam shot through as he summoned a new monster. "I synchro summon Tempest Tenrun!" He summoned out a humanoid monster with black and white armor and had green energy wings on his back. It also had 2500atk points.
"I've never seen that monster before." Yukin said. He saw Sapphire Serapho was glowing brighter from that monster's arrival. Something also came over Huo and Drewsin. Their eyes were glowing and they shouted in anger. "What's with these two?" Yukin had no idea what was going on the whole time. It also didn't help that his head was beginning to hurt. "Why is my head starting to hurt?"
"Attack... Attack... Must attack..." Drewsin said.
"Must attack!" Huo said.
"No... Something is wrong." Yukin said as he was trying to fight off over whatever was coming over him.
"I activate Speeder Yo-Yo's ability!" Huo said. "I can add one card in my graveyard to my hand, but I'm using Tempest Tenrun's ability! He can negate Speeder Yo-Yo's ability and destroy him!" Tempest Tenrun stopped the ability and Speeder Yo-Yo was destroyed.
"Why would he stop his own monster's ability?" Yukin questioned.
"When Tempest Tenrun negates my own monster's ability, it gains that monster's attack points!" Huo said. The remains of his yo-yo were absorbed into Tenrun and it's attack points increased to 4000. "Tempest Tenrun, attack Shadow Shudamin!" Tempest Tenrun flew into the air and was gaining momentum to attack.
"Attack and...destroy!" Drewsin said as he was getting ready to use his trap.
"No, Drewsin!" Yukin shouted as he grabbed his arm and stopped him from doing something he would regret. "This isn't right! You know it isn't! Do you really want to hurt someone out anger?!" Yukin was able to reach Drewsin as he snapped out of the trance he was in.
"What came over me?" Drewsin said. He was too late to activate his trap as Tenrun charged, smashed, and destroyed Shudamin with Drewsin's life points dropping to 3700. Drewsin and Yukin also felt the shockwaves of the attack.
"How come that attack felt real?" Yukin said as this kept getting stranger and stranger.
"I activate Speeder Second Strike!" Huo said as he was still under the trance. "By banishing Speeder Centi from my graveyard, Tempest Tenrun can make a second attack!"
"Huo, stop!" Yukin called, but Huo didn't seem to hear him.
"Attack with Gale Force Charge!" Huo ordered as Tenrun went at them. Yukin was going to get caught in the attack as well, but Drewsin pushed him out of the way as he took the full force of the attack with his life points dropping to zero.
"Drewsin!" Yukin called as he hurried over to him. As for Huo, he just drove off. Yukin hurried over to Drewsin and held him up, but Drewsin didn't look good. "Hey, pull yourself together."
"You were right." Drewsin said as he opened his eyes. "I was dueling for the wrong reasons. Dueling should be about fun. Take this." He handed him Shadow Shudamin.
"Why are you giving this to me?" Yukin asked.
"I know you can make better use for it." Drewsin said before he passed out.
"Hey! Hey! Pull yourself together!" Yukin said as he tried to get Drewsin to wake up.
"Yukin, there you are!" Zoey called as she arrived at the park. "Siegrain and I couldn't find Soto, and..." Zoey stopped when she saw he had Drewsin in his arms. "That's Drewsin!"
"Yeah, and he needs some help." Yukin said. This wasn't looking good at all. Soto's gone, Drewsin's hurt, and there appears to be more to come. What are Yukin and his friends going to do now?
