RAW: 29/1/2007

Monday Night RAW was live at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. DX's music hit and HBK came out and gave us crotch chops all around. JR and King put over HBK's performance at the Royal Rumble last night.

Michaels grabs a microphone and his theme dies down as he begins to speak. "Last week, I said that no mere mortal man was going to keep me from winning the Royal rumble and going on to the Main Event at WrestleMania. The problem is in the Royal Rumble there were 29 mortal men...and the Undertaker." The crowd cheered at his name being mentioned. "Even though I didn't win, i meant what i said last week. The Showstopper is back! And I will, somehow, be the next WWE Champion at Wrestlemania. Now, I know what you're saying, you're saying 'Shawn, how can that be? The Undertaker won the Royal Rumble, therefore he gets the choice of whatever title he wants on whichever brand he wants'. And...that's true. But you see, the Deadman hasn't made his choice yet. Now, if he chooses the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista, or the ECW World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley, that leaves the WWE Championship wide open. So tonight, I am taking the oppertunity to throw my hat in the ring. Because I can't think-"

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop and the lights dim to a blood red, casting a sinister glow as the Bladewolf walks out with his WWE Championship around his waist. He makes his way down the ramp and steps onto the ring apron then steps foot over the top rope and enters the ring. He pulls his hood down then removes his metallic mask and places it within his coat before he takes a microphone out from inside his coat.

He stares Shawn down for a moment before he begins to speak. "You want a match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 23... against me?" He shakes his head and begins slowly pacing. "You know, Shawn, it's been nearly 10 years since we were in the same ring at WrestleMania. But it wasn't a match between me and you, It was a triple threat match that will go down as one of the greatest in WrestleMania history, where I became the youngest world champion in WWE history. Me, you and Austin tore the house down that night. But, had it been between me and you, it would've be a whole different story. You want these people to see a match worthy of a main event spot at WrestleMania to see who is the better wrestler? That might be good for your selfish ego but you don't get to decide that you'll get an immediate title shot, my brother does and he just might pick me."

The fans start cheering for the potential match between Bladewolf and Taker at WrestleMania, two men who have not lost a match at WrestleMania in their time in WWE.

Suddenly Edge's theme hits and out comes one half of Rated RKO and the World Tag Team Champions with a microphone in hand. "Bladewolf, Bladewolf, I'm sure you'd love to face Shawn at WrestleMania, but it's not gonna happen. You see, Shawn, last week I told you that after the Rumble that you wouldn't have that feeling of victory, you'd have that nagging feeling of close but no cigar. That feeling of disappointment and-"

'You suck! You suck! You suck!' The fans chantedm giving their opinion of Edge.

Edge continues, ignoring the fans. "And lo and behold, Shawn, I was right. And Bladewolf, if anyone deserves a match against you at WrestleMania...it's me! I too, have not been beaten at WrestleMania. If Undertaker chooses Batista or Lashley, then the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania should go to me!" The crowd boos him. "Shut it! Because let's face it, I am the best in this-"

Randy Orton's theme hits and out comes the other half of Rated RKO. Orton stares his partner down before he begins speaking. "Is that right, Edge? is that right? Now, it's true we may be World Tag Team Champions, but last night it was every man for himself...and when it comes to that WWE title it's exactly the same thing. Now let me ask you something, how many times have you had a WWE Title shot this past year? Ten? Twenty? Thirty times? Well guess how many times I've had one...zero!"

"I think there's probably a good reason for that, Randy." Edge said.

"Explain to me what you mean!" Orton demanded.

"I'd be happy to." Edge said.

"Are you kids done?" Bladewolf cut into their argument, having lost his patience. "Either you stand there whining like spoiled children or you can come down here and have your souls ripped out of your bodies by my hands."

Edge and Orton look at each other before they began storming towards the ring when Vince McMahon appeared on the Titantron. "Wait a minute! Wait a minute! Wait just a damn minute! Randy Orton, you and Edge don't go anywhere! I don't want you going to the ring. You think this crowd wants to see Edge and Randy Orton beat the hell out of Shawn Michaels and the Bladewolf? I don't think that's what this audience wants. I tell the audience what they want and I tell the audience when they want it. So tonight, because it's Mr. McMahon fan appreciation night, tonight in that very ring there's gonna be a Tag Team Championship match! Randy Orton and Edge defending the Tag Team Titles against...Shawn Michaels and the Bladewolf!"

Bladewolf and Shawn stare each other down as RAW goes to commercial break...

Later

The Main Event had arrived, it's Rated RKO vs the team of the Bladewolf and Shawn Michaels. In the arena, Rated RKO's theme hits and out comes the World Tag Team Champions, Edge and Randy Orton. They make their way down the ramp and get into the ring as their theme dies down and they hand their titles to the referee.

The DX theme hits and out comes Shawn Michaels who walks down the ramp before stopping at the end of the ramp as he waits for his partner.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop and the lights dim to a blood red, casting a sinister glow as the Bladewolf walks out with his WWE Championship around his waist. He makes his way down the ramp, pausing to stare Michaels down. The two men then enter the ring and stare Edge and Orton down as Bladewolf takes his metallic mask off and tosses it aside, followed by his coat then hands his title to someone at ringside as his theme dies down.

The referee holds up the World Tag Team Championships, showing they are on the line, before he hands them to someone at ringside then calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Shawn Michaels started off with Edge. The two locked up and struggled all over the ring. Michaels was whipped to the buckles but avoided the follow up attempt and hit some chops. Edge caught one of Michaels' legs, but Michaels slapped him and hit a back elbow to floor him.

Shawn Michaels hit some chops on the ropes. Edge came off the ropes and Michaels met him with a knee lift, flooring the champion. Michaels tagged in the Bladewolf who hit a punch to the gut and then a hip toss. Bladewolf hit a body slam and followed it up with a power elbow and went for the cover.

Bladewolf hit a DDT on Edge who kicked out of the cover attempt that followed it. Edge rolled to the corner and yanked Bladewolf down on the buckles allowing himself to tag in Orton. Orton hit some upper cuts which left the WWE Champion floored. He mounted Bladewolf and began to punch away at his head.

The Wolf of Darkness and Destruction came roaring back with an Irish whip and a vertical suplex before going for a cover which Orton kicked out of. The Bladewolf caught a thumb to the eye while stalking Orton in the corner. Randy pressed his advantage, punching away at the WWE Champion's face before hitting a gut and going for a slam of sorts, but only to have Bladewolf wiggle out and send Orton clattering off Edge and almost got a roll up out of it.

Orton flat backed Bladewolf with a clothesline but as he looked up, he noticed Edge was walking up the ramp. Edge was shouting that he thought that the hit was on purpose. Randy was telling him to get back here, that he didn't mean it. The two squabbled as we went to commercial.

*After commercial*

We came back to the Bladewolf in mid-victory sequence with Edge. He hit the turnbuckle clothesline then scooped Edge up for Snake eyes, but Orton caught him in the ropes and punched him right in Bladewolf's ribs.

Edge pressed his newfound advantage as he dropkicked Bladewolf to the outside. Edge followed him to the outside and began working on the rib area of Bladewolf before tossing him back into the ring. Edge tagged in his partner, Orton.

Orton did the good ole Garvin Stomp before jaw jacking with the Bladewolf for a little while. Orton landed a stiff knee to the abdomen before going for a quick cover attempt. Edge tagged in and landed a boot to the Bladewolf's gut while Orton held him.

Edge hit a chop before hitting a standing drop kick. Again, he went for the cover, trying to squeeze more energy out of Bladewolf. Orton tagged right back in and drove two knees into Bladewolf's chest before going for another cover, but the WWE Champion kicked out. Orton hooked his legs and slapped on a sleeper hold right in the middle of the ring.

Bladewolf used his power to get to his feet with Orton still on his back. He rammed Orton into the buckles a few times and broke the hold. Orton tossed him into the ropes but crashed and burned trying to hit a drop kick.

The WWE Champion crawled to the corner and tagged in Shawn Michaels. HBK came in and took everyone out. He went into victory sequence with Edge before hitting his flying elbow. Michaels tuned up the band in the corner. Orton broke up the party though, ducking under a punch and hitting a drop kick to the gut. Edge rolled over and tagged in Orton officially.

Orton came in, looking for the RKO. Michaels barely blocked it and tagged in Bladewolf. Bladewolf scooped Orton up into a Vertical Suplex positon...AND HITS THE WOLF'S FANG! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Devil's Wolf plays as Michaels celebrates his and Bladewolf's win. Bladewolf gets to his feet and is handed his WWE Championship and World Tag Team Championship. He turns around and notices Michaels about to go for Sweet Chin Music but paused once Bladewolf noticed it.

The two go eye to eye and stare each other down. Suddenly the Undertaker's bell tolls and the Deadman's theme plays as he rises from the stage, staring straight at his brother. The WWE Champion stares down his older brother and raises the WWE Championship, seems Undertaker has chosen to face his brother for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 23...

And that's it for this chapter folks. I hope you all enjoyed it.
