Disclaimer- I do own Trolls to Trollstopia in any way or form. Melody Song, Mal Shredder, Stereo, Twilight Tidepool, McJagger, Buckaroo, Ballad Bill, Corey Thundershock, Evie, Sid Scales (voiced by Johnathan Groff), and Sophie Soprano are my O.C.s and belong to me. Aggie, Shimmer, Chin-Hwa, and Silovay belong to I.M. Rally, and now, a brand new O.C. named Finn (has an Australian accent and is voiced by Ed Sheeran), which you will see in a bit, belongs to my good friend TU4QU0I53T4AN6L3. I will also be making up a new song for this chapter! Today, I just had to publish this because it's Holly and LowNote Jones's voice actor/actress's birthdays, and I got the brilliant idea to do a birthday-themed one in honor of the occasion! Now, let's get to it!
Poppy and Branch: You can do it solo!
Aggie and Trollex: But then you'd be all by yourself.
Stereo and Synth: (Synth: Yo!) So, it'd be more fun to share this one with someone else! (Tiny Diamond: Hit it, daddy!)
Rhythm, Blues, Quincy, Essence: Together, we will soar across the sky and beyond! (Prince D: To the great beyond!)
Holly Darling, Buckaroo, Delta Dawn: So, tune-up your voice!
Val Thundershock, Barb, and Melody Song: Stand up and sing along! (Evie: Let's rock!)
All: All different voices (Tiny Diamond: Everybody now!), our melodies ringing. We're living in harmony! Yeah, we're living in harmony! Our song is much stronger will every troll singing. We're living in harmony!
Double Birthday Shennanigans
At Country Corral, Holly was adding a golden horseshoe sticker to the bottom right corner of an orange envelope. She then passed the envelope over to Poppy, who placed it with a pile of other well-prepped envelopes as she commented, "Just a few more, and we should be set"! Holly smiled and replied, "Thanks, Poppy! Pretty soon, we'll have enough invitashuns faw ever'one"! Buckaroo soon came trotting over with a box of party decorations as she said, "Here we are! Ay was lucky Sky had these left over. There are enough decorashuns here ta decorate Country Corral ayn' Lonesome Flats taaed togethuurr"! Silovay was playing horseshoes with a couple of the other Country trolls when he saw Aggie's friends together and decided to come over and see what was going on. He walked over to the table and said, "Howdy, ladies. What's a-goin' on ovuurr here"? Poppy replied, "We're helping Holly set things up for her birthday party this Friday." Holly stood on her hind legs and exclaimed, "Woo-hoo! Ay love a-celebratin' my birthday, y'all! It's one of my favorite taames of the year"! Buckaroo chuckled and said, "Holly always gets ayy lil' extra excited whenevuur her birthday rolls around. It's been her favorite holiday since she was ayy lil' buckling." Silovay then asked, "Really? Why's that," as Holly replied, "Well, number one, because birthdays are always so much fun! Ayn' two, because ay make some of the greatest, most heartwarming memories with my friends on my birthday. Ayn' when my do, my heart grows ayy lil' ayn' it beats with so much love overflowing, it could flood Trollstopia if it evuurr got out. Special bonding moments with my friends are my favorite part, especially when ay have fun with Buckaroo. In fact, my sixth birthday was the day Buckaroo ayn' ay became friends. Ya remembuurr that"? Buckaroo let out a hearty laugh and replied, "How ken ay evuur forget? Considerin' that we barely knew one anothuurr at first, but then, bonded ovuurr ayy runaway cake."
Flashback to many years ago...
At Lonesome Flats, many of the kids were running around, playing games with one another, as a young Holly Darlin' was unwrapping a purple present. She got the wrapping paper ripped off and opened the lid before looking inside and smiling at what was in there. A brown cowgirl hat rested inside, and while it was a little big for Holly at the moment, she could care less. She picked the hat up and shouted, "Ay love it! Woo-hoo! Thanks, daddy," as she hugged her father tightly. Suddenly, a loud MOO got his attention, making Holly's father look up and see a runaway adorabull rampaging and headed their way. It seemed to be pulling a cart with a tall cake resting on it, but it wouldn't be for long if the bull did not stop running around. Holly' turned around and saw what was happening too as she gasped and shouted, "Oh no! That adorabull's gonna make my cake fly"! Her cries of panic were overheard by a young country troll, who saw what was going on and decided to do something about it. The girl started to gallop towards the adorabull as Holly's father saw and shouted, "Wait, no! It's too dangerous," as Holly followed her, in case the girl needed help. While galloping up to the bull, Holly caught up with the troll and asked, "What are ya doing?! This is dangerous"! The new troll shook her head and replied, Ay know what ay'm doin', and don't ya worry! We're a-savin' that cake! Ay have an idea! Follow me"! Reluctantly, holly followed this new girl as she ended up standing right in the bull's path. As the adorabull charged towards her, Holly exclaimed, "Get away! It's gonna hit you ayn' you'll be sent flying fastuur than ayy skyrocketin' horseshoe"! The new girl snorted and grew determined, saying as she dug her hooves into the ground, "Naw ay won't! Watch"! Once the bull was close enough, the new girl stuck her arms out and grabbed it by the horns, pushing and, despite being pushed back a little at first, was able to stop the rampaging adorabull dead in its tracks, surprising Holly and making all the other kids, and parents, drop their jaws in shock at how strong the little girl was. The new girl then shouted, "Quick! Get on top ov its back"! Holly carefully climbed up onto the adorabull's back and then heard the girl shout, "Now, give it ayy big ol' hug"! Holly hugged the adorabull's back as the critter finally calmed down and stopped, laying on the ground and falling into a deep sleep.
Everyone came over and were cheering as the new girl helped Holly down while saying, "Ay told ya ay knew what ay was a-doin'. Y'all ok"? Holly smiled and nodded, replying, "Yeah, thanks. You're really strong." The girl flexed her arm while saying, "Whel, when ya work on ayy farm, ya build some arm strength a-doin' the mornin' chores ever'day. Name's Buckaroo, ayn' ay'm ayy country gerl faw laafe! Yeehaw"! Holly giggled before commenting, "You're my hero, Buckaroo, ayn' it's ayy real hoot ta meet ya. Ay'm Holly, ayn' ay'd love it if we became friends." Buckaroo grinned and replied, "Sure thing, Holls." Holly and Buckaroo hugged one another as all of the other party guests gathered around and cheered for the duo.
End of flashback...
Poppy found the story to be adorable as Silovay commented, "Hang on ayy minute! Ya stopped an adorabull in its tracks with only your bare hands? And when you were six"?! Buckaroo nodded and mentioned, "Sometimes, ay don't know my own strength, but...if nawht faw it, then that cake would've been ruined, ayn' Holly ayn' ay would nevuurr had become friends." Holly and Buckaroo high-hoofed one another while Poppy commented, "Either way, it's so sweet to hear about how much your birthday means to you, Holly. I'm sure this party' going to be as epic as all of your other parties." Suddenly, a delivery bug zipped by and gave all four trolls purple envelopes, which made Silovay ask, "Uh, ay don't remembuurr expectin' any mail. Did any of y'all order somethin'"? Buckaroo looked at her envelope before saying, "It came from Low-Note Jones. Wonduurr what he wrote ta us." Holly opened up her envelope and pulled out what looked like a funk-themed card. When she slowly opened it, a pop-out version of Low-Note appeared, surrounded by balloons and confetti, as the card began to play a voice message in his tone of voice, saying, "Hey, holly, baby. Low-Note Jones is formally inviting you to his birthday party. We're gonna have a funky time celebrating together. I do hope you can make it." Holly then closed her card while happily saying, "Hot dang, y'all! It looks like ay ain't the only troll havin' ayy birthday approachin' soon. Wonduurr when his party is." Holly reopened her card and allowed the rest of the message to play as it said, "RSVP, and I'll see you at the meadow on Friday." However, instead of cheering, Holly let out a shocked gasp as Poppy asked in concern, "What? What's wrong"? Buckaroo then realized something as she asked, "Hold up. Did he say Friday at the meadow? Ain't that where you're holdin' your party, Holly"? Holly frantically nodded while saying, "Yeah, y'all"! Poppy tried to calm Holly down by saying, "It'll be ok, Holly. Maybe Low-Note Jones made a mistake when he sent your invite and meant to say a different date and location." When Buckaroo, Poppy, and Silovay all opened up their invites, they all got the same message Holly did, and it said the same date and location as well. Holly then commented, "Ok, y'all. Nawht gonna freak out. Ay'm gonna get to the bottom of this, so, don't y'all start panickin'. Hopefully, ay ken get this all sorted out in taame faw my party." Holly then galloped away, heading straight to Trollstopia, where she found Low-Note Jones sitting with Aggie, Prince D, and Cooper, and they were all making invites.
Holly approached the group and said hello, earning her many hellos back as Low-Note Jones tipped his glasses while saying, "Hey, Holly. I see you got my invite. Came to make an early R.S.V.P"? Holly shook her head before replying, "Actually, ay came because...well...*chuckles* it's just the gosh darnest things. Ay think ya made ayy tiny mistake in your invite, sayin' that your party was gonna happen at the meadow on Friday. But ay'm sure it's just a typo, right"? Low-Note Jones chuckled before saying, "Actually, that is not a typo, my fine Country friend. For Low-Note Jones's birthday is indeed this Friday. Check it out," as he showed Holly a calendar and pointed to a circled box that had a party hat and cake drawing on it. Holly's jaw dropped as she then replied, "Well, what ayy coincidence, sugar. Faw my birthday's also this Friday." Aggie smiled, saying, "Wow! I didn't know you both shared a birthday," as Prince D commented, "That's really cool, man. That means there'll be two birthday trolls at Low-Note's party." Holly then nervously scratched the back of her head, "Whel, ay don't want ta disappoint any of y'all, but ay'm afraid there might be a small problem with that. Ay'm hostin' my party at the meadow too, and it's on the same day of your party, Low-Note." Aggie, Cooper, and Prince D gasped in shock as Low-Note replied with a hint of concern, "Ooh, I can see where its predicament lies. You can't reschedule or find a different location"? Holly shook her head no before asking, "How about you," as Low-Note replied, "Our spaceships are getting updated, so they'll be out of action for a few days. And nowhere else has enough room for my party to happen." Cooper then commented, "Why don't you just throw your parties together at the same time," as Prince D replied, "I don't know, man. I mean, have you ever seen two trolls throw two birthday parties at the same time? That wouldn't seem fair, especially if, by how this problem looks, trolls would have to decide which party to go to. And nothing's scarier than having to choose between two parties."
Aggie then got a great idea as she said, "In that case, why don't you both...combine your birthday parties"? Holly and Low-Note Jones were confused as Aggie explained, saying, "Since you both share the same birthday, and you both want to throw your own birthday parties, why not combine them and throw one big party together? That way, no rescheduling or relocating, no redoing the guest list, and no frantic decision making by the guests." Low-Note Jones chuckled and replied, "It sure sounds like a groovy idea, Aggie. Holly, what do you think"? Holly thought about it before saying, "Dang y'all...ay've never shared a birthday party with anyone befawe, but that doesn't mean ay ken't give it a try! Low-Note, let's join forces ayn' throw the biggest dual birthday bash Trollstopia has evuurr seen"! She and the funk ambassador high-fived each other as Low-Note added, "You got that right, baby." Aggie smiled in victory as Prince D then said, "That's real cool of you, guys. With you both planning one party, I'm sure it's going to be amazing"! Cooper then said, "Yep! Now, I got to get a present for both of you! Hahahahah! Pressure's on, man"! Aggie suddenly found herself having a vision as in her mind, she saw a clip of what looked like Holly and Low-Note glaring at each other, shouting, "This was a bad idea, to begin with"! Once the vision came to an end, Aggie had a look of horror on her face as she turned her head and saw Holly and Low-Note Jones walking away together. Prince D saw the look on Aggie's face and asked in concern, "Hey, are you ok"? Aggie then told him, "We got a problem! I just had a vision that Holly and Low-Note Jones were glaring at each other and shouting that the party was a bad idea, to begin with"! Cooper then asked, "But they seem so happy about it," as Prince D added, "Yeah, Aggie. Those two didn't seem like they thought combining their parties was a bad idea." Aggie then said, "Yeah, but what if something does happen and it ruins their birthday?! Imagine the looks of disappointment on their faces! We've gotta go make sure nothing, and absolutely nothing, causes them to fight or argue about something that could ruin their birthday party"! With that, Aggie and the royal funk twins Cooper and Prince D followed Holly and Low-Note Jones out to the meadow.
Meanwhile, the Country and Funk ambassador walked into the clear field as Holly took a deep breath, saying, "Ah, smell the scent of the trees on a fresh spring morning." Low-Note Jones took in the scenery as he commented, "And feel that gentle breeze. It's so peaceful and relaxing, the perfect setting for a party." Holly then pulled out a checklist and said, "Ok, since so far, the only thing that's the same with our original plans was our guest list, let's now focus our attenshun ta decorashuns. Now, sugar, what did ya have in maand faw your party"? Low-Note answered, "That's easy, Holly. You can't have a funky birthday party without loads of bright colors, tie-dye-themed decorations, and neon balloons. How about you"? Holly answered, "Ay was plannin' ayy rootin' tottin' rodeo-themed party! With ayy pettin' zoo faw the lil' ones, ayy mechanical bull for trolls ta challenge ridin', ayn' even ayy pinata the size of ayy 10-gallon hat! But now that we're combin' our parties, we gotta think ov ayy theme we ken both agree on. Aside from lookin' cool, what other things do ya laake"? Low-Note Jones thought about it before saying, "Hmm, well, I like playing music, chilling with my best friends, long walks down by the beach, flowers-," until Holly spoke up, saying, "Hey, ay laake flowers too! With their awesome desaagns ayn' sweet aroma." The funk ambassador tipped his glasses and commented, "Really? Then, I think we have our theme. We can do flower-themed decorations and have them in bright colors, so it still pertains to something I like." Holly nodded and added, "Ayn' we ken add soft haybales faw trolls ta sit on since hay is dried grass, ayn' it relates to the nature aspect of our party, as well as it shows off my Country heritage"! Holly wrote this down as Low-Note Jones then commented, "So far, so good. Though we now have a lot of work ahead of us to have everything set by Friday, and we only have a few days to do it." Holly replied,
"We ken do it as long as we stick together, birthday buddy"! Sharing another high-five with one another, Holly and Low-Note Jones spent the next two days shopping for flower-decorations, sending out newly updated invitations to every troll they wanted to invite, and having loads of fun getting everything set for their party.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Party Pal~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Holly: What good is having a cake when there's no one to share it with?
Low-Note Jones: It ain't fun when you're the only one giving yourself a gift.
Both: It's hard to feel the love when you're celebrating alone. But with a friend, then you can have the best bash ever thrown!
'Cause I love to party with my party pal!
Holly: You're my jamming go-to guy!
Low-Note Jones: And you're my fun-time-loving gal!
Both: Celebrating with you make the fun roll in like a fruit-punch-based canal! There's no one else I'd party with than with my party pal!
Low-Note Jones: You can dance by yourself, but it can make you feel sad inside.
Holly: Which is why at a festivity, I'll dance with you, side by side!
Both: While cake and presents are great, there's something greater that I love! And that's getting to party with you on the ground or up above!
'Cause I love to party with my party pal!
Holly: You're my jamming go-to guy!
Low-Note Jones: And you're my fun-time-loving gal!
Both: Celebrating with you make the fun roll in like a fruit-punch-based canal! There's no one else I'd party with than with my party pal!
The day before their big party, Holly and Low-Note Jones went over to the cake shop to pick out the perfect cake. As they entered the shop, the store tender greeted them, saying, "Hey, you two! What kind of cake can I getcha on a fine day like today"? Holly and Low-Note Jones looked at one another before they both smiled and said in unison, "Rock road/raspberry swirl"! That answer made both ambassadors confused as Holly asked, "What the hay is raspberry swirl"? Low-Note answered, "It's the best thing since sliced...cake. The smoothness of the cake mixed with the tanginess of raspberries makes a funk troll feel right as rain." Holly raised an eyebrow in confusion as he stated, "Either way, it ken't nearly be as good as rocky road. Chocolate ice cream with nuts and marshmallows! It's heaven right there"! Outside of the shop, Aggie overheard their discussion and whispered, "Oh snap! They can't seem to agree on a cake flavor"! As she kept watching, Holly then said, "What does raspberry swirl even taste like"? Low-Note Jones looked at the store tender and said, "One sample of raspberry swirl, please." The store tender bent down and got a spoon full of the requested cake flavor, going it to Holly. She looked at it curiously before placing the spoon in her mouth, eating the cake sample before her eyes widened in awe, making Holly comment, "Oh my stars! It's so good"! Low-note chuckled before saying, "What did I tell you, baby"? Holly then said, "This is amazing! The flavors seem ta mesh so well togethuurr! Ayn' the raspberry...oh...it's so good"! Holly then got an idea, saying, "Hey, ya know...what if we make a raspberry swirl cake, but with chocolate icing, ayn' stop by the ice cream shop on the way back ayn' pick up some Rocky Road ice cream"? Low-Note nodded in agreement, saying, "Garcon, go that"? The store tender walked into the back of the shop and came back with a box that had the cake resting inside. He then said, "Want me to make a customization on it"? Holly nodded, saying, "Can you write Happy Birthday Holly, and Low-Note Jones on it"?
With a flick of a frosting pouch, in rainbow icing, the store tender opened the box and wrote the message onto the cake before saying, "There you go. All set and ready to go." Low-Note Jones picked up the box, saying, "I'll hold onto it till tomorrow. What else do we have to do"? Holly looked at her checklist and answered, "Whel, sugar, we've gotten just about everything we need! All we have to do is make sure everything doesn't get ruined before the party. It was a good idea that you were able to borrow that tarp from Vibe City." Low-Note Jones and Holly fist-bumped each other before walking out of the cake shop. Aggie watched the leave as she sighed a breath of relief, saying, "Phew. At least they didn't argue. But wait, my vision. If it didn't happen before the party, then that means...what I saw's gonna happen during the party! I do hope that nothing bad happens tomorrow that makes them argue. I wonder if I can help them somehow. She flew up to Low-Note Jones and Holly and landed in front of them, saying, "Hey, you two! Excited about tomorrow"? As she saw both of her friends nod, Aggie then said, "Listen, I know you both must still be busy prepping for tomorrow. Is there anything I can do to help you"? Holly thought about it before answering, "Well, we do need help setting up all the decorations tomorrow before the party. Ya think ya ken come by ayn' help in the mornin'"? Aggie nodded and puffed her chest out in pride, saying, "Of course! You both can count on me"! Low-Note Jones chuckled and replied, "Thanks, Aggie. You're the best troll we can rely on for aid for party assistance." Aggie smiled as she then said, "And as a treat, I have a little something for you both. A pre-birthday gift from me to you, with a little help from Satin and Chenille," as Aggie gave both trolls a box. Holly and Low-Note Jones opened their boxes and gasped in surprise at what was inside. Holly's gift was a small golden dress with a beautiful hem cut and covered in a thin layer of glitter. Low-Note Jones's box had a purple cape covered in sparkly, golden stars and a silver boa with tiny miniature disco ball-shaped clips hanging from it. Holly and Low-Note Jones both smiled in happiness and hugged Aggie as the Country ambassador said, "Aw, Aggie! Thank ya so much," as Low-Note Jones added, "Yeah, thank you, Aggie. These new drips are amazing"!
Aggie smiled and answered, "No problem"! The next day, Holly lept out of bed and declared, "It's my birthday, y'all"! She rushed over to her closet and grabbed the dress Aggie gave her from the hanger. After changing out of her pajamas and placing the dress on, Holly looked at herself in the mirror and said, "Dang, it looks amazin'"! Holly then picked up a brush from her night table and let down her hair from her signature ponytail. Simultaneously, while Holly began to brush her hair, Low-Note Jones was trying on his new cape and boa over at Vibe Town. He tied the cape gently before swooping the boa around his neck, commenting, "Oh-ho-ho, baby. These dreads look really cool. Aggie's definitely got style." He placed on his glittery sunglasses that had blinds-like lenses and opened them, saying, "The birthday troll is ready for the party." Over at the meadow, Aggie had started placing the tablecloth on the picnic tables before flying up to hang a huge white banner that said, "Happy Birthday Holly and Low-Note" in big, bold, colorful letters. Once it was tied perfectly, Aggie tied a huge star-shaped pinata onto the tree as Holly, and Low-Note Jones arrived and looked around in awe, with Holly declaring, "Hot dang! It looks amazin', Aggie"! Low-Note Jones gave Aggie the cake box as he said, "Low-Note Jones agrees. This place definitely looks party-ready." Aggie placed the cake box onto one of the tables while saying, "No problem, you two. I'm just doing my job, and I'm happy you both seemed to agree on everything for this party. You know, I might as well tell you both: a few days ago, I had a vision that you both had an argument and said that this party was a bad idea, to begin with." In confusion, Holly and Low-Note Jones looked at one another before breaking into laughter as Holly commented, "Aggie, ya don't have ta worry about that because Low-Note ayn' ay both worked togethuurr ta compromaase ayn' agree on makin' the party perfect faw both ov us." Low-Note Jones then added, "We know that the best way for both of us to make one party that we can fully enjoy is to find the fine line in between common interests. We have our different tastes, and yeah, some may argue that sharing a birthday is difficult, but the key is balance between us." Holy then mentioned, "We share our own opinions about things we laake ayn' dislaake, ayn' we try different things ta see if we laake it or nawht. Ay didn't think ay'd like raspberry swirl until ay tried it! Now, ay love it"!
Aggie smiled as she then listened to Low-Note Jones, who said, "See? We may be different and have different tastes about certain things, but that doesn't mean we're always going to argue about it. Yeah, our birthdays are special, but what's the point of getting to celebrate something if you're not able to celebrate it with your friends, especially those who you are lucky to share it with a friend"? Aggie thought about it before saying, "You know, you're right. And you know what? I'm actually happy about what you both were able to do together. Everything looks great, and you both seemed to handle it very well." Holly then said, "Now, all we have ta do is wait for the guests to arrive ayn' then we ken really get this party started." Low-Note Jones turned his head around and saw something behind him as he smiled and pointed, saying, "And it looks like we don't have to wait for long." Holly and Aggie turned around and saw that all of the leaders, delegates, Aggie's visiting relatives, associates, and the rest of the ambassadors arrived, along with a bunch of other trolls they had invited. Everyone was carrying a bunch of gifts in their hands as they all shouted, "Happy Birthday," which made both birthday trolls smile in glee as Aggie shouted, "Let's get this party started"! With a flick of her party cannon, it sent streamers and confetti up into the sky as Holly and Low-Note Jones's birthday party was now in full swing. Trollex was working his DJ set, playing some catchy party music while everyone else was having a lot of fun. Currently, Gust was blindfolded and spun around before being sent towards the pinata and swinging at it a few times. Guy Diamond was hanging from a branch from his hair and spinning around, shining like a disco ball, while a lot of trolls started to dance. Gust, Buckaroo, Synth, Dante, Holly, and Low-Note Jones were having a staring contest by the corner of the dancefloor. Holly and Low-Note Jones were currently staring at each other's eyes in determination as Aggie noticed that it looked like they were glaring. However, as they kept doing it, their eyes were feeling slightly irritated as they commented, "This was a bad idea, to begin with," as they blinked and rubbed their eyes.
Aggie sighed a breath of relief, saying, "Oh, so that was my vision. Phew." Soon, Holly declared, "'Kay y'all! It's taame ta cut the cake"! Aggie flew over and lit the candles as Holly, and Low-Note Jones came towards the cake, looking at the glowing candles, as all of the guests started to sing Happy Birthday. Holly and Low-Note Jones looked at one another and blew the candles out in unison. Suddenly, the fireworks' sound got their attention as the duo looked up and saw a huge fireworks display going on, lighting the sky up in beautiful colors. Holly turned her head and asked, "Low-Note, did ya plan this"? Low-Note Jones replied, "No, I thought you did this." Both ambassadors smiled and shrugged happily before hugging one another as the fireworks kept going, shooting out fun, colorful birthday-themed shapes such as a huge cake, presents, and a huge "Happy Birthday" sign that faded away in bright sparkles.
