"Jess its okay" Luca said later that night trying to comfort her, the injuries and psychological trauma of what she'd been through had led to her not being able to handle any man being down there, no matter if she wanted it or not, she would tense up and it would cause her severe pain, no matter what she tried to do to relax
"No its not, I don't like this feeling of not being able to relax around you in bed, I should be able to" Jess said starting to sob softly, she'd turned away from him and cuddled herself up into a tight ball
"You are putting to much pressure on yourself, you know the therapist warned you about it" Luca said softly as he rubbed her shoulder to let her know it was okay and that he understood this was nothing personal against him
"I know, I just wanted this to be a fresh start for us" Jess said, tears still in her eyes as Luca hopped out of bed to get an extra pillow, this was a trick they had learned from the therapist she was seeing in Australia, they would use it as a barrier when they would spoon
"I know you did, its going to take time, feel better" Luca said softly as he rested the pillow between themselves making sure to completely cover his privates before pulling himself in close to cuddle, Jess's mind saw the pillow as a barrier, with it being there blocking everything, it couldn't get in a position to cause her pain
"Mhmm" Jess immediately said letting out a huge breath of relief as she cuddled back in closer, allowing Luca's body to press firmly against her own and he wrapped his arms around her, the pair quickly fell asleep

"You okay, you walking a little funny" Trent asked curiously as he saw Jess enter the team room the next morning
"I'm fine" Jess said brushing it of
"You telling us the truth" Ray asked curiously
"It's a little bit of a stiff muscle, nothing serious, it will be fine" Jess said trying to ignore the pain that was sitting in that area, she wasn't bleeding, there was no swelling or loss of strength or movement, she was not going to go to Trent about a problem she was sure was psychological
"Things didn't get a little to busy for you last night with hubby to be" Sonny asked hearing the conversation
"No, we didn't get a little to busy" Jess snapped back at Sonny
"Just saying none of us would blame you" Sonny said before Jess, sick of the conversation shut it of completely
"Sonny, you know that that asking your sister for details is almost as bad as asking your parents for details, you got a sick mind" she said
"Eeww" the rest of the team said in unison at the comparison
"Right so as we all know we are 6 weeks from deployment, currently our destination is Syria, Al-Bakamal" Eric said beginning the briefing, this was not an official mission briefing, just letting the team know what was currently in the works
"Which puts us in operating vicinity for Iraq as well, we'll be right on the border" Jess said
"Geez Blackburn, surely you could have allowed them to pick a nicer place to send us for summer camp than the Iraqi Syrian border" Sonny said complaining about the choice of destination
"You had somewhere else in mind Sonny" Eric asked the texan
"Bahamas" Sonny responded, nice and warm, plenty of beaches and women in bikini's
"He'd prefer Paris" Clay said
"Red light district" Brock added
"Yeah wouldn't say no to that either" Sonny said with a laugh
"Sorry, we don't get to pick and choose our locations" Eric said pretending to be apologetic
"Hey well at least we got Bookworm's wedding to look forward to, can't believe he chose Metal as best man" Sonny said looking at the Alpha team leader
"Not my fault he's known me for longer" Metal said with a smile
"Sonny, how do you think I feel, tradition dictates that if Luca backs out at the ceremony, I have to marry the best man to save my honour" Jess told him, guessing he was unaware of the tradition
"So you'd have to marry him" Trent said pointing at Metal, Jess simply nodded her head
"Yeah we'll make sure that don't happen" Ray said with a smile
"So that means we'll be picking up from team papa" Jason asked
"Yes, until then however, we are still on the case of Abdullah Al-Asiri, we currently have no available leads however, Petty Officer Turner" Eric said turning his focus towards Jess
"Yes sir" she responded
"I'm wanting you to work with Ensign Davis and find us a lead with Al-Asiri" Eric told her
"Yes sir" Jess responded
"So how do you want to handle this" Lisa asked Jess after they entered her office to begin, she knew Eric was sending her to give some extra help in the hunt for Al-Asiri
"Anything going on you want me to look at" Jess asked
"What's your preference" Lisa responded
"Unconfirmed events, might be able to go through other channels to get the confirmation you are after" Jess said knowing it could take time for official confirmation of certain things come through
"Sounds like a good idea" Lisa said handing Jess a stack of folders to make a start on
