Peparia barely had time to finish eating before she got a message from Trunks. It appeared that, unlike Towa, Demigra was eager to gather the energy he needed to escape the Crack of Time.

I don't think I'm going to get much time to rest, Peparia thought as she touched down inside the Time Nest. So, I'm going to need to finish my training with Cell soon.

The next mission had two massive changes; Demigra had taken control of Piccolo as he was supposed to be polishing off Goten and Trunks' fusion training, and later on, he had Super Buu use his attack that wiped out Earth early.

Peparia once again concentrated on the scroll and entered the timestream, landing on Kami's lookout with Goten and Trunks. Her first priority was dissipating Demigra's phantom, and she transformed into Super Saiyan 2 to do so. She once again used a ki laced punch like she had done with the earlier incarnation of Buu, and it did the job, pushing the phantom out of the timestream.

She looked over at Piccolo and remembered that Chronoa said that the only way to take care of Demigra's hypnosis was to deal a "hot smoking blow to the face". So Peparia did just that; she came blasted down at Piccolo and hit him as hard as she could in the head, sending him flying, landing on the lookout. Peparia rushed after him, and uppercut him on the chin, and sledgehammered the back of his neck.

This was enough to free Piccolo, who was dazed and unsure as to where he was currently and would be useless in any battle to come.

This was unfortunate, as Super Buu had found the lookout and bared down upon the three. Peparia rushed in and nailed Buu in the cheek, causing him to stagger back. Peparia pressed her advantage and nailed him several times in the stomach before grabbing him and slamming him down on the lookout.

However, Goten and Trunks performed the Fusion dance and merged into Gotenks, giving Peparia some help with this regenerating foe. Gotenks immediately transformed into Super Saiyan 3, a form Peparia found useless due to his much it drained the stamina, but right now, they needed the power output.

Peparia and Gotenks began battling Buu across the planet, Gotenks doing so as playfully as a couple of children fused into one fighter would. But eventually, the fusion wore out, thanks both to the strict time limit the Metamoran Fusion had combined with the massive ki leak that Super Saiyan 3 had. This forced Piccolo, who had time to rest, to aid Peparia for the time being.

"Be careful, Piccolo," Peparia said as she sledgehammered Buu to the ground. "He can use his body parts to absorb. Don't cut off anything, and you'll be fine."

"Right!" Piccolo said, blasting Buu as he fell to the ground.

"We need to hold him off until Gohan gets here!" Peparia shouted.

"Gohan's alive?" Goten shouted with pure joy in his face. "Alright!"

"Yes, but you need to be careful! If Buu absorbs Gotenks, we're screwed!" Peparia said, charging up a Final Flash. They needed to keep him regenerating as much as possible to waste as much of his stamina as possible.

And after enough time had passed, Gohan, now in his Ultimate form, had entered the battlefield, and was ready to battle Buu.

But Peparia wasn't done yet. "Everyone, stand back. Gohan and I will take care of this," Peparia said.

Gohan's power was insane; he was as strong as Kakarot would become when he faced Lord Beerus. But Buu's stamina was higher, so they needed to be cautious.

But after several minutes of combat, something strange happened. The dark purple aura overtook Buu, who reacted to it as if he had his head in a vice. He then did something unexpected; he transformed back into his original form.

This was not what was supposed to happen. Buu wasn't supposed to revert until Kakarot and Vegeta merged into Vegito, at which point Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Piccolo were to be freed by them, as well as the "fat Buu" version that had bonded with Hercule, becoming a better person because of it.

Peparia did what she could to hold off the most dangerous form of Buu, the Demigra boost making him far more powerful than Super Buu would become, even with Gohan absorbed. This was Buu's most dangerous form, lacking any real intelligence. He didn't strategize, he didn't do anything creative. He just savagely and relentlessly attacked, destroying anything he came in contact with.

Eventually, Buu charged up his ultimate attack, the one that destroyed the planet. Peparia didn't know how she was going to get off world without Kakarot, but Shin used his Kai Kai teleport to warp in and grab Peparia, Gohan and the others, but Peparia said to only take herself and Hercule; that was the proper timeline.

Kakarot and Vegeta wheren't happy when Shin returned with only Peparia, but Peparia reminded them that they could bring them all back with the Dragon Balls. She introduced herself as a Time Patroller and assured them of their victory if things went the way they were supposed to.

However, before any more discussion could begin, Buu teleported in, beginning the end of the battle. Peparia, Vegeta and Kakarot rushed in, with Kakarot in his Super Saiyan 3 form, still unaware of the disadvantages of this form.

As expected, Kakarot eventually ran out of stamina, and Vegeta told Kakarot that the "Earthlings need to protect themselves for a change" and that Kakarot should use the Genki Dama. This both meant that the end of the battle was coming and that Peparia and Vegeta needed to ramp up their intensity.

Shin contacted the Namekians and had them make two wishes; resurrect Earth and all the good people who lived there, which, to Vegeta's surprise, included him. His next wish would be to allow the Earthlings to hear Vegeta.

He told the Earthlings to give Kakarot their Genki, but only those who knew Vegeta did so. Then, Kakarot took over, and a lot more of the people whose lives he touched did so, dating back all the way to his first World Martial Arts Tournament. But that wasn't enough, so Hercule took over, saying that he was the one fighting Buu, and that he was the one who needed their power.

Suddenly, Kakarot was flooded with power, his Genki Dama grew immensely in size. And when it was ready, Kakarot shouted for everyone to get away. Hercule grabbed Vegeta and Shin, and Peparia took to the air, floating by Kakarot's side. And when Buu started to push back the Genki Dama, Peparia, still in her Super Saiyan 2 state, started to push back. Kakarot felt what Peparia was doing, and thanked her.

But there was still one wish left. And Peparia made it. "Porunga! Replenish Kakarot's strength so he can push back the Genki Dama!"

The wish was granted, and Kakarot was fully refreshed. He transformed into a Super Saiyan, and together with Peparia, they pushed the Genki Dama forward, fully eradicating Buu.

Peparia powered down, and watched Kakarot fall to the ground. And as was proper in the timeline, Hercule told the Earth that Buu was dead. They started chanting his name, and that was when Peparia knew her job was done. She took the scroll and returned to the Time Nest. Trunks congratulated her, but Chronoa was worried about how Demigra was able to control someone as strong as Buu.

"Which is why I need to finish my training with Cell," Peparia said. "If you need me before I'm done, come to the Room of Spirit and Time." Then, she took off, hoping against hope that she'd have the time she needed.
