I decide to hang out with Moon while Miguel is on his date with Sam. We grab dinner then go to see a movie. Afterward we're walking out of the theater laughing about certain funny quotes.

"You always pick the best movies," Moon says mid laugh.

"That's why you love me so," I joke with dramatic emphasis.

"Partly," she says and pecks me on the lips.

When we get to my car, she pushes me up against the side door and kisses me roughly.

"I don't have a curfew," she whispers seductively then kisses me again.

"I guess I don't either anymore," I say when we break apart.

We decide to get into the back of my car and make out for about 20 minutes.

"Cmon, the last one just healed," I whisper as Moon begins wetly kissing and biting my neck.

She must not be listening so I flip her over. She yelps slightly and I smirk at her. I kiss her roughly then look her in the eye when we separate.

"Woah," she says smiling, but surprised.

I reach my hand behind her back until it reaches her bra clip. My nerves suddenly spike.

"C-can I?" I whisper nervously.

"I've been waiting for you to ask," she answers and kisses me while I unclip her bra.

Once we're done, I take her home and decide to text Miguel and see how his date went. Instead of texting me back, he calls me.

I answer and he screams gibberish, but sounds very happy.

"Woah woah, English! English!" I yell into my car speakers.

"It went AMAZING!" He yells with pure joy.

"I'm coming over," I say smiling because he celebrated my successful first date and I was gonna return the favor for him.

"I'm heading to the dojo. Meet me there," he says.

"Sounds good," I respond then hang up.

I speed over to the dojo with a huge smirk on my face. When I walk in, Sensei is drinking a beer and pumping his fist. The shop bell rings and he looks surprised to see me.

"Mr. Murphy! What are you doing here?" Sensei says pleasantly.

"Miguel said to meet him here. How was the committee meeting?" I ask excitedly.

"We're in baby!" Sensei says excitedly punching air.

"Cobra Kai's in it to win it!" I yell excitedly.

"Hell yeah!" Sensei yells and we high five and bro hug.

"Oooooo WHOS'S THE MAN?!" Miguel yells excitedly after he walks in the door.

"I'm the man!" Sensei responds happily and Miguel gives him a look.

I'm just laughing in pure joy.

"Oh shit. Are you the man to? Tell me your the man!" Sensei orders encouragingly while pointing at Miguel.

"I'm the man! I crushed the date," Miguel says excitedly throwing his bag off his shoulder.

"I crushed the committee meeting!" Sensei yells all fired up.

"What about you? How'd your night go?" Miguel asks me.

"Crushed another date!" I yell fired up.

"Yeeeahh," Miguel and Sensei yell in unison.

"Looks like Cobra Kai's in," Miguel says happily.

"Hell yeah we're in. Cobra Kai's back baby!" Sensei yells fired up.

Miguel and Sensei hug.

"I'm gonna grab sodas for Blake and I. Do you want a banquet?" Miguel asks excitedly.

"No, no, this calls for a real toast," Sensei responds and goes into his office.

"Oh shit," I say grinning and lightly elbow Miguel.

Sensei comes out holding a bottle of whiskey.

"Oh," Miguel says surprised.

I'm just excited.

"The good stuff, for real men," Sensei says handing both of us a cup.

"Niice," I say excitedly.

"Drink it, itl put hair on your balls," Sensei says.

"Is that a good thing?" Miguel asks.

I wanna neck him so hard.

"Yeah that's a good thing," Sensei and I say in unison.

"To Cobra Kai," Miguel says holding up his cup.

"Never accept defeat," Sensei says holding up his cup.

"Cobra Kai never dies," I say and we clink our cups together.

The three of us drink and Miguel pinches his face while Sensei Lawrence and I swallow it without issue.

"Did you kiss her?" I ask slightly raspy from the alcohol.

"Nah," Miguel answers in a raspy voice.

"What are you talking about? I thought you said you crushed the date," Sensei remarks.

"I didn't kiss her. She kissed me," Miguel says with a smile.

"Oooh hell yeah!" I say and playfully hit Miguel in the chest.

He laughs and I look at Sensei grinning ear to ear. He nods to Miguel in approval with a smile on his face.

"Ay good shit dawg," I say and shake him by the shoulder.

"Thanks," Miguel says grinning.

The entire ride home, Miguel goes on about his date. I didn't know Sam had that kind of humor. I always thought she was just another "good girl," but I guess she has some spark after all. Good for Miguel. We're all living the dream right now. Miguel and I got the girls we never thought we had a shot with, Hawk has confidence after years of bullying, and Demetri, even though he kinda leaches off our Cobra Kai cred, he's still great to have around. In the end, Sensei Lawrence was to thank for all of it and I knew just how to make it up to him. I would pay him back by training my ass off, keeping every other student in line, and taking home the All Valley crown for Cobra Kai.

The next day is a hot Saturday morning and we're all at the junkyard for special training. Sensei cracks open a beer and looks at all of us.

"You've trained hard! You've gotten stronger, tougher, faster, you've done your best! You're ready for this tournament, am I right?!" Sensei announces to us.

"YES SENSEI!" We all yell in response.

I yell the loudest because I know how serious this. I need to dedicate these next few months to training in order to be ready for the tournament. Moon even help me set up a healthy diet to assist me with staying in shape.

"WRONG!" He yells and throws his mostly empty beer at us.

The beer can bounces around on the dirt and its contents get all over our legs.

"Your best ain't shit! If you wanna win the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament, you've gotta give me better than your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst! Do you understand?!" Sensei Lawrence yells at us.

"YES SENSEI!" We respond.

"ARE YOU LOSERS?!" Sensei asks trying to hype us up.

"NO SENSEI!" We answer.

"ARE YOU NERDS?!" Sensei asks

"NO SENSEI!"

"ARE YOU SURE?!" Sensei asks.

"YES Se—" I start saying, but I'm yelled over as the rest of the group yells "NO SENSEI."

I shake my head and Sensei puts his in his hands.

We set up an obstacle course that consists of footwork drills through tires, walking on a balance beam over rusty sharp metal and brown glass in a dumpster, scaling up a mountain of destroyed cars and climbing a rope into a broken window.

"Murphy, lead the pack!" Sensei orders.

"Yes sensei!" I answer and begin my footwork drills.

If I had to be honest, I liked the footwork ladders from football better than this, but I was gonna do this successfully.

"Move those feet! Go, go, go!" Sensei yells as we move through the lines.

We have to do eight rounds of the tires before moving on. On the fourth round, my foot catches on one of the tires and I fall which results in Miguel, Aisha, and Hawk falling on top of me.

"Oh my goodness! Get up Cmon keep going!" Sensei yells at our dog pile.

"Let's go squirt, move that ass! All right Bert, good job buddy!" Sensei says as we go through the drills.

We do what he orders and it's time for the balance beam. I get up and speed walk across it.

"Come on Princess, move that ass! Let's go!" He yells as I walk across trying not to look down.

I'd love to see the look on all those pansy ass inspectors and government officials now. None of them could've gone through this.

"There's nothing to fear, except fear itself. That and falling into a bunch of sharp metal and broken glass, so DON'T DO THAT!" Sensei says as Hawk makes it across almost falling off at one point and giving me a mini heart attack.

"COME ON LETS GO MAN! COME ON FINISH!" We all yell as more and more people walk the plank over the pit.

We're all pushing each other and encouraging others when we finish. I smile through shallow breaths as I realize just how much of a team we've all become. We've literally become family through these months of training. We hang out all the time at school, study together, practice together, eat together, hang together on Saturday nights, and have each other's backs.

It's time to climb the mountain of cars after Sensei decides to add something between because he feels like we all got through the balance beam too easily. What were we supposed to do, fall off? Love to see Sensei try to fill out the paper work for that.

We have to run a mile around the junkyard. Miguel and Hawk are the first two to finish followed by Amelia, then me. We're only halfway through the obstacle course and we're all covered in dirt and sweat and panting.

"Come on! Is that all you got?! If you wanna win the crown, you gotta keep going!" Sensei yells at us as we breathe hard.

Climbing the mountain of cars isn't too hard for me. The rope climb absolutely kills my arms as the mountain climb caused initial soreness. I kick some of the broken glass, but am really careful not to cut my feet or legs. Sneakers and jeans don't really protect well against glass. I hold the rope as Miguel makes his way to the top of the mountain. Hawk isn't far below.

"Cmon Miguel, finish," I call out while holding the rope in place.

Miguel grabs it and slowly makes his way to the top. I reach out to help him through the window, but he says he can do it himself. Hawk climbs the rope very fast.

"Let's see those pussies at the tournament take us down now!" Hawk yells on excitement when he climbs through the window.

"Well that mohawk may scare Bert and Virgin, but that's it," I jab and playfully elbow Hawk in the side.

"Better hope you don't square off against me Murphy. Last time was a fluke," Hawk challenges with a cocky smile.

"If you say so," I respond sarcastically with a smirk.

I turn around to look at the gaping hole in the middle of the run down building. A giant sinkhole going about eighty feet into the ground.

"Damn, Sensei wasn't kidding about giving us his worst," Aisha says as she makes it through the window and leans against the wall in exhaustion.

"Yeah," I agree.

One by one, the rest of the crowd makes it up the rope and through the window. We're all sitting down and resting. Aisha and Amelia have their feet dangling over the sinkhole and are sitting on the ledge chatting.

"Hey! Get back down here!" Sensei yells from the bottom.

"How?" Miguel yells back because the only way down.

"Get off your asses and find a way! This isn't rest period!" Sensei yells from three stories below.

We all begin looking for a way down, but to no avail. People start to panic as Virgin is terrified of heights and Aisha is thirsty.

"Everyone be quiet for a second! Look, we can find a way down if we all work together as a team. We're Cobra Kai. We climbed this building with our bare hands!" I say trying to unite everyone and calm them down.

"Hey Maxwell, you done with your cute little teamwork speech?" Amelia taunts.

I look at her annoyed because she ruined the moment.

"You got something to say Princess?" I mock.

"Yeah, I found the way out," Amelia snarkily responds and opens a rusty door that leads to a stairwell.

Everyone stands there speechless and snickers when looking at me.

"Let's go. Walk down there. As a team," she taunts the last sentence and evilly smiles at me.

I roll my eyes, but can't help smiling. It's really hot when chicks don't take my bullshit. What am I thinking? I'm into Moon, yeah I can think sometimes about other girls as long as I don't dwell or act on it, right?

"Nice going," Hawk says to Amelia with a smirk and she fist pumps him.

"Awe don't cry. Your speech was wonderful," Amelia playfully jabs.

"Laugh it up Princess," I say and give her a taunting smirk.

When we get down, Sensei let's us grab some water and hands us tools.

"Your enemies are all around you, destroy them!" Sensei says and we run around and hack away at cars.

I use the rusty pickaxe Sensei handed me and smash car windows. I even smash a small hole in a concrete wall. It's a lot of fun and a good way to get anger out. Miguel and Hawk throw a giant wooden beam out of a window and smash a car. They yell and high five. Aisha and I take turns beating up old cars. When we finish, we wait for further instructions.

"You hungry?" Sensei asks handing us slim Jim's which we greedily eat.

"Yes Sensei," we all murmur as he hands us the meat.

"Good, so are they," Sensei responds and blows a dog whistle.

The sound of barking and snarling coming from rabid dogs causes us all to freeze.

"Where the hell did you get rabid dogs?!" I yell in disbelief as I look around furiously for a place to run.

"Oh shit," Aisha says then takes off running.

We scatter and run off in different directions.

"Fuck," I say through gritted teeth as one of the dogs is on my tail.

I climb onto the hood of a truck and I see Bert and Virgin running toward the truck. The dog that was chasing me along with the dogs that were chasing Bert and Virgin, corner the two by the truck I'm standing on. As the dogs growl, I pull each of them up by the arm and the dogs bark furiously at us.

"Woah," Bert says staring at the dogs.

"Pretty sweet huh," I say lightly hitting Bert in the chest and grinning.

All appears to be well until we hear a blood curdling scream that sounds like Hawk.

"Oh shit," I say and toss the rest of my slim Jim away to distract the dogs.

"Hawk?!" I yell as I take off in the opposite direction of the dogs.

I see him struggling with one of the dogs as it has its bloody teeth sank into Hawk's arm. Hawk is screaming in pain and terror as blood and foamy saliva drip from his arm and the dog's mouth. I run up and dig my fingers into the opening point of the dog's jaw which is a pressure point. It's jaws unlock and I kick it. It whimpers when my foot slams against its ribs. It runs off whining and I check on Hawk who is holding his bloody arm and hissing in pain.

"Shit. I'm taking you to the hospital," I say as the dog clearly has rabies.

"No man, my parents find out about this, I'm out of Cobra Kai and they'll sue Sensei," Hawk says pleadingly.

"Well they'll find out if you get rabies so let's go," I say and practically drag Hawk to the rest of the group.

Sensei dismisses us after we all regroup and I'm driving Hawk to West Valley General as he holds his arm in pain. He tries to hide it, but does a pretty piss poor job.

"Come on Alice, it's not that bad," I taunt in good fun.

"Shut up," he whispers.

"We're almost there. Is it looking infected?" I ask.

"No, but it's covered in fucking dirt and spit so it stings like hell," Hawk responds.

The doctor gives Hawk rabies shots and he calls his mom. Once the Moskowitz's get there, I say my goodbyes and leave the hospital. I already knew Hawk's parents when he invited The Gang over for some Jewish holiday and we pigged out on Potato Latkes and Sufganiyah. Hawk's parents were very kind, but WAY too overprotective and helicopterish. That's probably why Hawk is the most rebellious of my friends.

All in all, these next few months are dedicated to finishing the school year strong, socially and academically, but most of all, winning the All Valley.

Authors note: very sorry for the long delay! I live in texas and we had a huge winter storm and given that it's usually hot here, we didn't know how to deal with ice and snow so nearly all houses lost power and water for about a week so I haven't been able to update as I've been busy dealing with that. Anyway, next chapters will be training for the tournament and the canyon party which will include a moment I'm sure a lot of y'all have been waiting for: the introduction of Robby Keene to my story. He will meet Blake at the party and who knows how things will go. Stay tuned
