During the week of Christmas the two could not be more inseparable. It was almost sickening how much time they spent together and Theo was honestly starting to feel left out. Although they hadn't been intentionally ignoring Theo, the two and spent so much time neglecting their feelings that they wanted to spend every waking minute together.

Adeleine had never felt happier. It had been a while since Fred's death and Draco was making her feel the same way again. Draco was elated beyond relief and Theo swore he had never seen the man smile so much in one week. Adeleine was a great influence on him and Theo could not deny that.

There was barely anyone in the castle so Adeleine and Draco could be together in public. It's not like they were trying to keep it a secret, but it was easier to be what they were when alone, just the two of them. Adeleine wasn't even sure if Draco wanted to be public with her, but it's not like they had ever talked about it at all.

As of now the 'couple' was sitting by the Black Lake, on top of the tree branch that they had been on a few months back. It was crazy how much time had passed and they watched the sun go down and the sky painted with beautiful ombrés of red, orange, pink, and purple.

"Draco" Adeleine said interrupting the comfortable silence that had manifested between the two.

"Yes love?" he asked and Adeleine let out a shy giggle.

He had recently begun to call her 'love' and every time she heard the words out of his mouth her heart fluttered and her stomach swirled. Theo always made gagging noises at them when they were 'being to lovey dovey.' Then Draco would counter with "Your just jealous your lonely."

"When everyone gets back" she started and Draco nodded for her to continue, "are we still going to do this?"

"What do you mean?" Draco asked.

"I mean like, when class starts up again and everyone comes back to Hogwarts, will we still be together, like this?" Adeleine asked timidly and Draco's expression softened.

"If you let me" he answered. "Would you let me?"

"Yes" Adeleine nodded without hesitation.

"Then yes."

"Would we be in public?" Adeleine asked and Draco gulped.

He had thought that Adeleine didn't want to go in public because he had a reputation. His reputation would make people think that she was his next slag and shame her about it. His so called 'fan girls' would also most likely get extremely jealous and try to attack Adeleine.

"Only if you want to" Draco replied after a minute of being stuck in his own thoughts. "I mean I understand if you want to because I'm well, I'm me. But I want to, but I'm not trying to pressure you into it or anything. Well it's just that-" Draco rambled and Adeleine shut him up with a kiss.

It took Draco a second, but he kiss back slowly against her soft pink lips. Draco's face broke out into a smile like it always did when she spontaneously kissed him. "Is that your way of shutting me up?" he asked with a chuckle after.

"Yup" Adeline answered with a nod.

"Then you can do that more often" he pushed the hair out of her face and cupped her cheek.

The break was over and everyone was coming back to Hogwarts. Draco and Adeleine had yet to tell their friends that they glad gotten together, but not officially. Adeleine wondered by Draco hadn't asked her to be his girlfriend. It seemed that it was pretty obvious that she would say yes if he ever asked.

Draco's insecurities over himself and his past relationships— if you could call them relationships — had messed up his love life to the point where he didn't even know how to ask a girl out. He knew Adeleine fairly well and he knew that she was liked simple things. There was no need for anything extravagant.

Adeleine and Draco waited on the platform for the Hogwarts Express to greet their friends. It had been almost over a week since they had last seen them and it was evident that both parties had a lot of catching up to do. Theo was waiting beside the 'couple', jerking his head right and left to catch a glimpse of the train.

"Theo, what the fuck is wrong with you?" Draco asked, watching his friends hands shake and Theo keep jerking his body.

"Nothing" Theo shook his head, dismissing it immediately before returning to keep a look out for the train.

"He's just nervous about seeing Hannah again" Adeleine whispered and Drac nodded, an amused smirk taking over his lips.

"Am not!" Theo protested loudly, gaining the attention of a few students who were waiting for their friends. Draco and Adeleine snickered at Theo who grumbled in a weak protest.

"Whipped" Draco whispered to Adeleine and she nodded in agreement.

"I'm whipped!" Theo yelled, "Take a fucking look at yourself."

"Oh sod off" Draco snarked for his friend in annoyance. "Just because your to pussy to ask Abbott out doesn't mean you get to take it out on me."

"Well only a few days ago, you were to wimp to ask Addy out on a fucking date, but look who was the supportive ass friend who gave you advice — good fucking advice too!"

Adeleine watched the two boys bicker as she laughed lightly to herself. The two didn't even hear to train pull into the station and stop. It was only they heard the loud squeal of Athena that both boys turned their attention to the large group walking towards them.

"Addy!" Athena yelled as both boys jumped in fright.

"Athena!" Adeleine yelled in slight mocking voice.

"Merlin I missed you" Athena sighed as she enveloped her friend in a hug. The two had owled quite frequently over the break, but letters were never as good as seeing them in person.

"I miss you too" Adeleine replied, "How was your break with Luna?"

"Wow what about us" deadpanned Blaise sarcastically as he tried to keep a stern face with his hands on his hips.

Adeleine broke out into a smile before jumping to hug Blaise in which he caught her. "Wow, do you even eat? Do you people even feed her?"

Theo greeted Ginny, Luna, Athena, and Neville with nods while he brought Blaise into some sort of 'bro-hug.' He then went off, saying he needed to use the restroom, but they all knew he was just going to find Hannah.

Adeleine brought Ginny into a hug, and then Luna while Draco's watched her adoringly. He wasn't one for hugs and they all knew that, but he respectfully greeted everyone. He didn't care for the others arrival and would have rather stayed to sleep in, rather than wake up early to see all of her friends, but Adeleine wanted to so he gave him.

Merlin, Theo had been calling him whipped throughout the break and maybe — just maybe he was actually whipped.

"How was your break?" Adeleine asked to no one in particular and the quartet of girls began to chat amicably about their breaks leaving Blaise, Neville, and Draco to themselves.

"Fuck no" Draco said, "I am not third wheeling this shit."

Draco jogged to catch up to the girls while Blaise and Neville stood by themselves, hand in hand. They chuckled to each other before walking to catch up to their friends.

"Do you think they finally?" Blaise asked to his boyfriend.

"Not sure" Neville answered truthfully. "I would like to think so, but knowing them they probably did not."

"Hmm" Blaise mused, thinking intently. "Neither am I, but if they did well be sure to know eventually."

They two heard the clock chime, indicating it was almost time for their Back To Hell Feast. "Come on we don't want to be late. I know you want some of that pumpkin pie."

"You know me to well Neville Longbottom" Blaise yelled as the two ran for the Hogwarts entrance.

"Welcome back everyone" McGonagall began her speech. "Mr.Filch would like everyone to know that products from Weasley Wizarding and Wheezes are banned and will be confiscated if found. Full list is in his office. On other news welcome to a new year, here at Hogwarts. I trust you all had a wonderful break and all I have to say is dig in."

Everyone erupted into cheers as the feast arrived on the tables out of thin air. Adeleine always loved to wonders of magic, knowing that anything was possible like turning a pumpkin into a carriage.

"So how was your break?" Ginny asked Malfoy as she piled porkchops onto her plate.

"Fine" Draco replied curtly as he reached for the green beans which Adeline handed him the tongs.

It didn't go unnoticed that the two were quite civil with each other, even though they had kissed. It made everyone around the wonder if they had gotten together or chose to pretend it didn't exist. They all hoped the two hadn't done the second one because all of their hard work would have gone down the drain.

"So did you like my Christmas present?" Ginny asked Adeleine and she nodded.

Ginny had gotten Adeleine a beautiful silk green dress that Ginny had added with a note that said:

Dear Addy,

This shit was expensive, but worth it because you better be putting this dress to good use. You WILL where this dress the first time you and Malfoy shag because I already know how sexy you look in this shit. Anyways Merry Christmas gorgeous and I love you!

Adeleine chuckled at the memory. "What about my present Addy?" Athena asked with a smirk and Adeleine flushed red.

It seemed that Ginny and Athena had teamed up when getting Adeleine her gifts for Christmas because while Ginny had gotten her the dress, Athena had opted for multiple lingerie sets. Now Adeleine had a green set, red, baby blue, and light pink.

"Sure" Adeleine nodded weakly as she took a sip of pumpkin juice.

The feast was over, desert being finished a few minutes ago. Everyone was letting the food settle before McGonagall allowed everyone to leave the Great Hall to get ready for classes the next day.

"I'm gonna go use the restroom" Adeleine lied as she made her way to Moaning Myrtles bathroom.

She was pulled into the bathroom by Draco and she giggled as he brought her into a kiss. Adeleine immediately reciprocated as their lips moved together. She recalled the faint taste of strawberry tart in his mouth before his hand met her waist and he pulled her closer into him.

"I FUCKING KNEW IT!" The couple heard a yell from the bathroom entrance and they turned to see Neville, Blaise, Athena, Luna, Ginny, and Theo peeping their heads into the bathroom.
