Nadia made sure no one was around and opened the Box, a glowing orb emerged and floated around Nadia, the orb formed into a small light blue creature with a fin on its head "hello I'm Slipp, and I am your Kwami!" Nadia scratched Slipp under the chin "well hello" Nadia put on the bracelet "let's get to business, what do I do?" Slipp answered "all you have to do is say Slipp, Dive Down" Nadia nodded and took off her glassess "Slipp, Dive Down!" The Kwami was sucked into the Miraculous and Nadia transformed. Beowulf's clones grabbes Duma and held him while Beowulf jumped in with another air palm ready, Duma smirked and his body began to vibrate, and as if they had phased through him, Beowulf's clones fell to the ground, all of them confused by what had happened, Duma jumped up and flipkicked Beowulf sending him flying into a pile of trash, Duma leaned forward putting his hands on the ground with one leg bent forward and his knee nearly touched his chest and one leg stretched out behind him. Duma took off at lightning speed and clotheslined the recovering Beowulf, Duma then flung him straight into a wall "I've been waiting a lomg time for this, any last words Beowulf?" Duma mocked with Beowulf responding "y'know, they say catharsis is bad for you..." Duma's smile faded away and he charged again.
Suddenly a figure appeared from the sky infront of Beowulf, they pointed something at Duma and a stream of water shot out of it hitting Duma and sending him flying. Beowulf regained his footing and saw who had saved him, she wore a cerulean tailcoat jacket with black buttons, and the tail end looked like a dolphin tail, she wore white dress pants with black heeled boots, her mask was cerulean colored and modeled after a dolphin's face and she wore a magician's hat on top of her head with a light blue wand with a black tip in her hand. Beowulf whistled "now that's an entrance, so what do I call you?" the hero thought for a moment just as Duma charged back in, in one swift motion she took the hat off her head and swiped it making Duma disappear before Beowulf's very eyes, she then pointed her hat and Duma shot out like a cannon "call me..." she then struck a pose "Cascade!" Beowulf scratched his head "okay" Beowulf turned his attention to a very angry Duma "yeah...okay, game plan" Duma came back with a vengeance, Cascade rushed and swung her hat again but Duma jumped over it and spinkicked Cascade in the face sending her sliding across the ground, Cascade slid infront of Beowulf "ow, okay I'm gonna need a minute" Beowulf sighed "man, I remember when I was that green".
Beowulf put his hands on the wall and generated wind, Beowulf suddenly shot right at Duma and delivered a flying knee which Duma blocked, Beowulf quickly hit Duma with an air palm making Duma crater into the pavement, Cascade ran to Beowulf's side "watch after that girl, then use connect and we can communicate at long distance" Cascade looked at Tamara then nodded. Cascade picked up Tamara and jumped onto a rooftop, Duma shook off debris "I see, you want to face me alone, a fool's way to die" Beowulf groaned "ugh, could you be any more dramatic? Let's just fight so I can kick your ass already" Duma gritted his teeth and dashed at Beowulf, Duma threw a punch and Beowulf caught it "better look out below" Duma looked down to see the ground breaking, a clone suddenly erupted out of the ground and uppercutted Duma, Beowulf then palm striked Duma sending him flying yet again.
Cascade set Tamara down and looked at the battle below "wow...Beowulf makes it look so easy, I've got a lot to learn" Cascade said while taking off her hat, Cascade tapped her hat with her wand and a blue orb formed "Connection!" Cascade pointed her wand at Beowulf, a light beam hit Beowulf, Cascade began talking to Beowulf in his head "okay, wow, that felt weird" Beowulf felt his head "tell me about it". Beowulf ran into the street to see that Duma had disappeared, Beowulf looked around and suddenly Cascade shouted in his head "Behind You!" Beowulf conjured wind in his and in one swift motion turned and thrusted his palm unleashing a typhoon of air that caught Duma and blew him away "thanks Cascade, but be careful, Shellshock is still out there, but don't worry, you could probably smell him coming from a mile away" Cascade laughed with someone behind her asking "whatcha laughin' at?" Cascade turned around to see Shellshock right infront of her, Beowulf heard a commotion on the roof and prepared to jump but was tackled by Duma straight into a wall "c'mon dude, don't you ever give up?" Duma then dragged Beowulf across the wall and threw him out into the street, Duma quickly dashed to Beowulf's side and kicked him sending him rolling across the ground. Duma dashed behind him and before Beowulf could react Duma kicked him in the back and sent him into a tailspin.
Duma then went into a sprint and delivered a series of blows to Beowulf as he was flying through the air, Duma then stopped and let the hero fall to the ground "hahaaaa! I crank up the heat a little bit and suddenly you can't keep up? What happened?" Beowulf got up and shot an air current out of his palm knocking Duma onto his ass "why don't you crank your mouth shut?" Duma got up and dusted himself off "oh? Not in the mood for anything witty?" Beowulf shook his head "gotta get up onto that roof so can we just finish this?" Duma shrugged and got into his sprinting stance, Beowulf shut his eyes and took a stance with his left hand covering his right hand. Duma took off with blinding speed, smoke trails were left where he stood, Beowulf felt the wind around him change and in one subtle movement moved his head amd dodged a punch that surely would've ended him, Beowulf opened his eyes to see a shocked Duma, Beowulf smirked under his mask and with a mighty roar he delivered a ferocious opened palm to Duma's midsection "Air Bullet!" Beowulf shouted before a concentrated current of air shot Duma away and into a building a solid mile away.
Cascade backflipped away from Shellshock as Shellshock played with an electrical current in his hands "what? Scared you're gonna get cooked little guppy?" Cascade pointed her wand at Shellshock and fired a jet of water at him, Shellshock blasted the jet with electricity and it led right to Cascade, Cascade then put her hat infront of her and the electrified stream was caught in it, she then pointed the hat at Shellshock and an arrow of electrified water shot out hitting Shellshock in the chest making him slide back "heh, nice trick" Shellshock shot more lightning from his fingertips and Cascade responded by absorbing it with her hat, Shellshock grinned maniacally and using his other hand pointed it at Tamara. Cascade began to panic and threw her hat to the side, she ran to Tamara as Shellshock shot a stream of electricity, Cascade dove and was hit by the bolts, Shellshock seized the opportunity and pointed both hands at Cascade lighting her up, bolts of blue electricity moved wildly as Shellshock laughed and laughed, Cascade screamed as the bolts seeped into her very nerves. Shellshock giggled as he kept going until he received a flying kick to the face courtesy of Beowulf. The current stopped and Cascade fell to the ground, Beowulf looked back "oh no" he said, he ran over to Cascade and shook her "hey, get up, shit" Bewulf began to panic "no, no, no" Shellshock felt his jaw and approached Beowulf charging his hand with electricity, he thrusted his hand forward, Beowulf felt a hand grab his shoulder and he was pushed out of the way, it was Cascade, her eyes had a fire in them, her teeth gritted and her wand readied, she screamed and blasted Shellshock with a torrent of water that lifted him off the ground, Beowulf looked at Cascade and nodded and conjured a wind tunnel combining it with Cascade's torrent creating a small typhoon, Beowulf and cascade thrusted their hands downward and slammed Shellshock into the pavement.
Shellshock managed to lift himself up "okay you little shits, no more games!" The spikes on Shellshock's back began to grow and sparks flew off him, thunderclouds appeared in the sky and a bolt of lightning struck Shellshock "he turned himself into a lightning rod" Cascade proclaimed with Beowulf nodding "uh huh, so how do we discharge our sewage smelling friend?" Cascade thought "we use a conductor, your claws should do it, they're made out of metal right?" Beowulf took out his claws "yeah, so what's next?" just as Cascade was about to answer a massive bolt of lightning shot between them "whoops, I missed, I'm a terrible shot when I'm like this" Beowulf raised an eyebrow "you sure it's not all the time?" Shellshock became angry and shot again, Beowulf dodged the bolt barely but still got the shocking of his life "AHHHHH!" Beowulf screamed before hitting the floor "oh man, do any of you smell bacon?" Cascade yelled to Beowulf "anything metal will conduct electricity" Shellshock shot a bolt at Cascade which she caught in her hat, she barely contained the bolt and her hat nearly slipped out of her hands "on my mark, we rush him" Cascade said with Beowulf joining her and shaking off the electricity "brrrr, yeah, okay, let's show Gigabutt what we're made of".
Cascade and Beowulf moved quickly with Cascade moving to the side of Shellshock and Beowulf stabbing his claws into the ground, Shellshock ducked revealing his spikes and shot lightning everywhere, Bewulf jumped im the way of a bolt that would've hit Tamara and was shocked, Beowulf dropped to his knees. Cascade pointed her wand and hit Shellshock with a stream causing him to spark and shortcircuit a bit "why you little!" Shellshock blasted Cascade with lightning but Cascade began conducting it with her wand surprising Shellshock "but how?! You should be burnt to a crisp!" Cascade smiled "it benefits having insulated gloves!" Cascade conducted water mixing it with the electricity and shooting it at Beowulf's claws chaining Shellshock to the claws and draining him of his power "no matter how hard you try to control it, electricity always wants a way out".
Shellshock fell onto his palms, his spikes retracted and he breathed heavily, "now it's time for the show to end" Cascade proclaimed, she turned her hat upside down and swirled her wand along the rim, she then tapped the hat and pointed it at Shellshock, a giant water dragon came out of the hat and swallowed Shellshock lifting him up into the air "now Beowulf!" Beowulf got to his feet "right!" Beowulf jumped up into the air "Wolfsbane!" a green wolf's head appeared on his hand and he reeled back punching Shellshock, Beowulf pulled out a light blue orb "Devour the Power!" Beowulf's costume became a mixture of light blue and turquoise. Beowulf charged his hand with electricity and wind "gimme a boost!" Beowulf shouted with Cascade agreeing, she sent a stream of water that pushed Beowulf higher, Beowulf reeled back and brought his fist down into Shellshock's midsection, using wind power he rocketed toward the ground.
The impact shook the streets and the alleyway filled with dust and debris, Beowulf stood over the unconcious Shellshock, he reached down and plucked the Pseudo Miraculous off of Shellshock's chest. Shellshock reverted to his human form and Beowulf jumped back up onto the rooftop "your sister still out?" Beowulf whispered with Cascade nodding "I'll take her back to the apartment, thank you Beowulf" Beowulf shook his head "no, you really helped out, not sure I would've beat them without you" Cascade took off her Miraculous and reverted back to Nadia, she gave the Miraculous to Beowulf "I'll definitely give you a Miraculous again, you proved you can handle it" Nadia smiled and attended to her sister who was just waking up "Nadia? Oh my god Nadia!" Tamara hugged Nadia "I'm so sorry, I should've never came back" Nadia patted her sister on the back "Tamara...is that why you stopped calling?" Tamara nodded "yeah...I was worried they'd link you to me so I dropped off the radar and...then I came back in secret and I was sure they weren't gonna find me but I guess I was wrong".
Beowulf approached the two "you two alright going back to your apartment alone?" Nadia nodded but Tamara protested "not so fast Nadia, maybe our hero would like to escort us" Tamara bit her bottom lip which made Beowulf uncomfortable. Nadia punched her sister in the arm "Tamara!" Tamara shrugged "what? can't blame a girl for trying?" Beowulf scratched his head "wait...is Ben okay?" Beowulf looked at Nadia "yeah, he got out safe, kid did a brave thing" Nadia sighed in relief and Beowulf saluted both of them with two fingers and jumped off the building. Ben entered his apartment "I'm home" his parents rushed at him hugging him "oh, my baby" his mom said with his had staying silent "we heard what happened at Nadia's place, are you hurt?" Ben shook his head "no, I got out of there as fast as I could" his dad rubbed his head "well, we're glad you came home safe" Ben went to his room and sat at his desk "I should check up on Nadia tomorrow, make sure they won't come back after this". Ben looked out his window, New York was surprisingly quiet tonight, barely any bustle or cars on the road. Ben finally had a moment to himself, to think about what he was fighting for "hey Sturnn...do you ever get tired of the fighting?" Sturnn came out of his jacket "me? No, I've always loved the heady thrill of combat...but I am aware of the suffering conflict can inflict upon the world" Sturnn floated up to the window with Prowwl joining Ben "yes, I do get sick of fighting and honestly I wouldn't mind staying in the Miraculous forever, all we do is dream in there but, then it would be unfair to Sturnn if I did that, he'd be forced to trudge around my box for all eternity" Sturnn scoffed "no way, if it were up to me I'd toss you into the deepest part of the ocean" Ben laughed "have you guys ever tried to enter the Miraculous at the same time?" Ben asked with Sturnn and Prowwl looking at eachother "well..." Sturnn stopped Prowwl "no. We do not plan to either". Ben nodded and leaned back "well, it's time to find Marinette, I don't know how she fits into all this but I'll find out".
