Update Announcement!

Hey everyone! LordXG3 here back here with an update on what is going on with My Hero Academia Untold: The Fafnir Knight.

Well, recently I got some sad news. Torchbearer by btn29 was recently canceled as the author as they no longer have the same passion for the project like they once had. And well it had me considering my own position about my own story.

Since only Viridescent remains active -albeit with slow updates.

Well after long consideration...Nothings changed.

I'm still completely on board with not only writing the Fafnir Knight but if anything this really lit a fire under my ass to get it done. So! Here basically where I am at with everything and when you can expect to see Fafnir return with new chapters.

Everything single chapter 1-34 has officially been reworked using Grammarly. Once that was done, I sent them to my beta reader who would re-read and re-edit it

Please remember that I do have a full-time job and my Beta reader is a full-time college student, so we have to split our time between this hobby of ours within reason.

Anyway once I have the chapters back, I would look over them, make any last-minute changes or additions. And finally, add my notes/commentaries before running the chapter again through Grammarly. That would complete the process and that would continue being the process with the new chapters going forward.

It takes longer, but it assures quality control that I want to make my standard for my works.

Here is my current progress.

Chapter 1 is 100% complete. And has been re-branded as The Prologue. (This does mean all previous chapters will be re-branded one number down)

Chapters 2-9, 12-14, 15-17 have been returned by my beta reader and currently undergoing the set phase of me looking it over and then finalizing them by using Grammarly. (Remember each chapter will be demoted one chapter number down when the process is finished)

The remainder of the chapters is still with my Beta reader. (It is ALOT of work I placed on him, so please be patient.)

Finally, I have re-started work and I am almost finished with Chapter 35 (which like before will be re-branded into Chapter 34 when everything is set and done.)

I have also started on the initial draft of the chapter following that one.

My hope is to be ahead of an updated schedule so that I'm about two-three chapters ahead with every update, with any luck this will prevent those long droughts between updates that plagued me all last year.

(Although in my defense COVID-19 was the primary reason why my update schedule was so shit last year.) I want this year to be different, and I want to get this story back with more frequent updates.

The wait is almost over, and in the meantime, do remember that I do have other works.

Draco Knight has been completely remastered and its fifth chapter is nearly complete and will update soon.

Guilt V2 has also been remastered and updated a lot in the past month, the final chapters almost complete and the story will be re-branded as Guilt: The Trial of Izuku Midoriya in the next update.

Finally! I have my newest story coming soon, my Izuocha Fantasy AU is finally out of the planning phase and into its first draft!

It's more fun, fluff, and adventure to counter the more dramatic themes of both Guilt and The Untold Universe.

That think that about covers it...Not.

I do have one more surprise for you all. I might have noticed that I said that Chapter 1 or The Prologue is 100% complete right? Well...as a way to preview how the remaster looks and reads.

I stealth updated it before I posted this announcement and it available to read...Now. Yes. Right now.
