The next morning, Hilda and Hilbert were sitting and waiting on the couch while Hilary was haphazardly buzzing about, packing into Hilda's new pink messenger bag whatever she felt Hilda might need on her travels. Hilary had even gone through the trouble of going shopping early in the morning to purchase a bunch of food for her and her Tepig. Hilbert found the whole scene to be rather amusing while Hilda was starting to get impatient.

"Mom, are we going to be leaving soon? It's almost ten," she practically whined as her mother went through the bag again.

"Now now, Hilda, Mom is just being Mom. You know that you're going to need everything she's packing," Hilbert said jokingly, resulting in Hilda lightly hitting him on the arm.

A little while later, Hilda and Hilary were finally ready to go. This was it. It was time for Hilda to begin the newest chapter of her life. The three Whites were currently standing by the front door.

"Well, Hilda, I guess this is goodbye for now," Hilbert said.

The two step-siblings came together in a hug.

"Now you're about to see what your awesome step-sister is capable of," Hilda declared to Hilbert. "I can't wait to see the look on your face when I bring home that Unova league trophy."

Hilbert chuckled. "Maybe. Just maybe you've got what it takes. I'd be careful about that Ash guy though. I get the feeling that despite you both traveling together, he won't be the kind to go down so easy."

The two teens broke for their hug. They were then silently staring at each other for several seconds.

"Well, see you around, sis," Hilbert said, sounding a little bit emotional as he turned around to walk away.

Meanwhile, Hilda and Hilary left the house and proceeded to go and meet up with Ash and the others.
