"Adeleine Cassie Wood" Athena said sternly, "You have much explaining to do."
Addy put her hands up in defense, but it was no use. She had Neville, Athena, Ginny, and Luna surrounding her like sharks to prey and Athena had the most offended face that she could plaster which made Addy feel extremely guilty.
The use of Adeleine's middle name was terrifying and was only used when she was being scolded by her mother if she got into some mischief. Now as Athena said her full name Addy grimaced and her body sunk into the sofa.
The common room was bare as Athena had yelled at everyone to get out and them being smart, they listened to her.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Ginny asked.
"Well I was going to when you got back because it seemed like a thing that you would tell people in person. And we didn't even know what we were, I mean he hasn't even asked me out. I'm really sorry about not telling you guys, but I just wasn't sure what we were and-" Addy rambled and Athena cut her off with a loud yell.
"He hasn't even had the audacity to ask you out yet?!" Athena yelled, almost offended.
"No" Addy answered, slightly disappointed, but didn't show it.
"I am going over to that son of a bitch and I am-" Athena threatened and Luna slapped a hand over her mouth.
"How did it happen?" Neville interrupted the two as he was being silent the entire time.
Adeleine bit her lip to hide the growing smile that was appearing on her face every time she thought of the Astronomy Tower.
"Well... he told me to meet him at the Astronomy Tower and he surprised me with a picnic. We watched the Christmas Star, the thing I told you guys abut before you left and yeah" Adeleine explained vaguely.
"So, was it cold when you guys shagged on the Astronomy Tower?" Athena immediately inquired and Adeleine fought the blush that was making its way onto her cheeks.
She and Draco had not 'shagged' on the Astronomy Tower and they had only kissed before they went their respective ways, seeing each other throughout the break.
"We didn't shag" Addy shut down the claim before anything else could be insinuated about the twos relationship.
If there was one thing she hated the most, it was rumors and lies.
"Oh come on" Athena groaned, "Tell me you guys at least kissed."
"Yeah we did" Addy blushed, recalling his lips on hers.
"Looks like our plan payed off" Ginny smirked at Athena which Athena agreed with a nod.
"I still hate you guys" Addy muttered.
"You love us" the four chorused and Addy laughed.
Athena stood up as they continued to converse about their break plans since dinner had not been enough time to explain how things went.
"Gran's still a bit iffy about Blaise, but it should be alright sooner or later. Did you know that Blaise cooks?" Neville conversed to Luna and Adeleine as Athena and Ginny were whispering another sort of plan.
"What about you Luna?" Addy asked.
"Well Dad seems to like Athena and there were no nargles around us so that's a good sign. She helped us get rid of some nifflers. I mean, I love her so it doesn't matter."
Luna gazed at Athena adoringly and Neville and Addy cooed at the two. There were perfect for each other. there was no doubt about that in Addy's mind.
"What'd you do during break beside snog Malfoy?" Neville asked and Luna gave a small giggle.
"Not much, I mean there's nothing really going on in Hogwarts. I guess I did open gifts with Theo and Draco. We hung out a lot and went to Hogsmeade most of the time" Addy shrugged. She hadn't even denied the snogging part of Neville's sentence.
The break consisted mostly of her and Draco snogging in some secluded corner or them going out to Hogsmeade. They didn't do much, but they did have an epic snow ball fight during the 26th which the two ended up ganging up on Addy and she ate a lot of snow.
Athena and Ginny failed to silently sneak out of the common room and the trio wondered what the two were up too. Ginny and Athena ran for the door before they could answer their friends questions and Luna merely chuckled.
"What do you think they're doing?" Neville asked to Addy and Luna.
"I'm not sure" Addy answered, "Maybe we should follow them."
"If you guys want to" Neville said and the three agreed to follow Athena and Ginny out of the common room.
They made sure the portrait door closed quietly before tip-toeing after Athena and Ginny. The red head and blonde girl were whispering to each other extremely secretively with an occasional giggle.
"What do you think they're talking about?" Addy asked.
"Not sure" answered Neville.
"It looks like their scheming something" Luna pointed out, earning an agreeing nod from the other two.
"What do you think they're scheming?" Addy asked.
"Well, their last scheme was about you and Malfoy so I wouldn't be surprised if it was about you and Malfoy again" Neville said honestly which made Addy groan in annoyance.
"I know they're my friends, but sometimes they really need to butt out of my love life" Addy commented, smacking her forehead.
The trio continued to follow Ginny and Athena up the corridors and down the halls. It seemed that the two did not know they three were following them because they continued to walk like nothing was wrong.
"You think it's working?" Athena asked to Ginny.
"I mean, we know Addy and we know she's going to follow us" Ginny countered and Athena nodded. "I know we can't check now, but I'm pretty sure they're following us. I think I can hear their whispers."
"They're not very good at spying, are they?" queried Athena and Ginny chuckled.
"They really aren't."
Ginny and Athena walked up to the Slytherin common room portrait, "Pureblood." The portrait opened and they two were able to sneak into the Slytherin dormitories. There were a few people in the common room, but no one bothered to comment or care about the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw that had entered.
"Wow, not even a round of applause" Athena joked and Ginny chuckled briefly.
Adeleine furrowed her brows when she saw Athena and Ginny walk into the Slytherin common room. This only increased her suspicions that Ginny and Athena were plotting something about her and Draco. It wasn't that Addy was mad, it was that she was wondering that the two were planning. It seemed that every time she glanced at the two, they were always plotting something new and Addy was tired of being the one they were conspiring about.
"The Slytherin common room?" Neville questioned.
"Weird right?" Addy commented and Luna silently giggled at their obliviousness.
"Might as well just follow them" Luna suggested and they nodded in agreement.
The three stepped into the Slytherin common room and there was nothing going on. There were a few students still chatting with their friends, but nothing major like Addy had been expecting. There was also no signs of Ginny or Athena in the common room which made Addy think they went to the dormitories.
"Have you seen Ginny or Athena?" Adeleine asked another 7th year Slytherin and the boy nodded his head.
"They went up there to the boys dormitories" he directed them and continued to converse with the girl in front of him.
"Alright, thank you" Adeleine said and the boy nodded.
The trio walked up to the boys dormitories, seeing Athena and Ginny knock loudly. Theo opened the door with an annoyed expression on his face, and his hair slightly ruffled.
"What?" he asked them in an annoyed tone, but the two girls merely smiled at him.
"Is Malfoy here?" Ginny asked and Theo nodded.
"Yeah, so is Blaise" he answered and Athena pushed her way into the room. Ginny followed and Theo had an exasperated expression on his face, but ultimately decided to not argue with them or ask questions because it would only lead to his death.
"You heard them say Draco's name right?" Addy asked to Neville and Luna.
"Yeah, well Draco's last name" Neville corrected and Addy waved it off.
"What do you think they're doing in there?" Addy asked and Luna merely sent her a calming smile.
"No idea."
Ginny and Athena entered the room, meeting Draco's and Blaise's confused expressions. "What are you guys doing he—"
Blaise was cut off, but Athena when she asked, "So when are you planning to ask her out?"
Blaise snorted slightly at Athena's abruptness and Draco's face began getting heated. Theo chuckled slightly, shaking his head. So that's why the girls wanted to come to their room.
"I don't know" Draco shrugged, "Do I have to do that?"
Athena gasped dramatically, clutching her heart. "Are you seriously asking that? Merlin, you are dense. She likes you and you like her so why not make it official. You can't just snog her and not make her your girlfriend, unless you want to treat her like some slag that she is not because she will not be your whore Malfoy!"
Draco gulped at the fiery blonde girl, slightly intimidated. "She's not just a random slag. I do like her, but I don't know how to ask her. I mean, Merlins beard you don't just spring the question on someone."
"Yeah well are you planning on popping the question anytime soon?" Ginny asked.
Theo and Blaise watched the conversation with interested eyes. Of course they had asked Draco about it all, but he dismissed their questions, not giving them any information what so ever. But it seemed that under the harsh eyes of Ginny Weasley and Athena Blackwood, that the blonde boy was about to spill everything.
"You guys make it sound like I'm proposing to her" Draco groaned at the two lady's who were interrogating him.
"Not yet at least" Athena countered with a smirk and Draco blushed.
Had he thought about marriage before? Sure he had, but it didn't mean that it was going to come true. He had it all planned out anyways. They would have two kids, maybe more because he had always wanted a sibling growing up. He would never want his son to grow up alone like he had. They would live in a small cottage, maybe somewhere near the beach where he could take his kids to play in the water.
Draco's thoughts were cut off when they heard a knock at the door.
"More people" Theo groaned, "Who is it this time? I swear to god if it's Pansy I'm going to kill myself."
"Just in time" Ginny said with a Cheshire grin on her lips making Draco kind of weirded out.
"What do you mean just in time?" he asked as the door opened revealing Addy, Neville— who was shyly waving, and Luna who had a small smile on her face.
Luna lightly pushed Addy into the door, making her stumbled slightly and Draco was immediately up to catch her if she fell.
"What are you guys doing here?" Blaise asked the three, "I mean, I don't mind seeing you Nev." Neville blushed at his boyfriend before proceeding to lay on the bed with him, sharing a greeting kiss.
"Well, go ask her" Athena and Ginny suggested with a slight squeal at the end.
Draco internally groaned at the girls. Of course it was all a set up. The two were known for their notorious scheming and he honestly should have seen it coming from a mile away.
"Ask me what?" Addy asked and Draco rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Well— um. So you see," Draco cleared his throat. "Weaslette and Blackwood here wanted me to ask you something, and we'll um— I guess I'm going to do that now. So yeah, erm... Will- Will you maybe want to be my girlfriend?"
Athena and Ginny cheered first, squealing and jumping before Addy even had gotten the chance to answer. "Oh sorry" the apologized, letting Addy answer Draco's question.
"Only if you bring me to see the Aurora Borealis" Addy answered with a blush and Draco grinned, nodding.
"Your wish is my command" he said before kissing her.
"Fucking finally!" Athena yelled as the people around them bursted into cheers.
"I'm so lonely" whined Theo as he complained on his bed. It seemed that Theo was in fact the odd one out because he was not in a relationship.
"It's alright Theo" Ginny assured him, "We got you. Just give us a few days to plan something."
"Can I finally help you guys plan one?" Addy asked the two girls with a chuckle.
"Definitely" the two answered and the three all laughed together.
