Luz finished putting her clothes on when Amity came in.

"Luz, you should be resting."

"Amity, there is still a battle going on. If I don't get back there and lead them, we lose BonesBorough."

Luz started walking to the door, when she felt pain in her chest. Luz held her chest and bit back a scream.

"Yeah, that's something that'll happen after heart surgery." Amity said, "Especially when you get a heart of a witch."

"I have a witch's heart?" Luz asked.

"Don't get too excited. The Bile Sac hasn't been used in years." Odalia said, making her presence known, "It would take a massive jump start of magic for it to work again."

Luz walked up to Odalia and Amity instantly got nervous. Luz is one of those people that holds a grudge and Amity thought Luz was going to, as the human's say, "Cut a Bitch". Instead, Luz held out a hand. Odalia takes it and shakes Luz's hand.

"Thank you." Luz said.

Luz kept walking to the door.

"I agree with Amity." Odalia said, "You'll risk opening your stitches. You could hurt yourself."

"I'm pretty sure I told Amity something similar on her eighteenth birthday." Luz said.

Amity blushed and made a small squeak. Odalia facepalmed, quickly knowing what she meant.

"We'll talk about that later young lady." Odalia told Amity, "As for you, Owl Lady, going back to battle isn't what you should be doing."

She walked out of the room and came back after a few minutes.

"At least... not without this."

Luz took the item and pulled the sheet off of it. It was her staff. Luz smiled, the only thing she has left from Eda. Luz smiled and grabbed her helmet. She put it on and used her staff to make a spell circle on the ground. She slammed the base of her staff in the center of the circle and disappeared. Odalia looked at Amity.

"Your girlfriend is very powerful and strong willed." Odalia moved closer to Amity, "Now about what she said earlier."

"Can't we talk about this later?" Amity asked.

"No."

Amity left the room with her mom. On the bright side, she can't get grounded. She doesn't live with her parents. On the battlefield, the Coven was barely getting pushed back. They outnumbered the Rebellion and, without the Owl Lady, they weren't doing too good. Suddenly, Luz fell from the sky and slammed her staff on the ground, sending rock spires into dozens of Coven guards. She stood up and breathed heavily.

"Next time you shoot me, make sure it actually kills me!"

She uses her staff and sends a large wall of fire at them. Luz and the Rebellion charge at the Coven, ready to drive them out, once and for all.

This chapter almost didn't happen. I was put on sleep medication and I was so tired that I couldn't make this. I only got this done about an hour before I post it. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
