Leni, Waterboy, and even Lincoln got some recognition for saving all the animals from Star Girl and her scheme to have her own private zoo. She will be back, and the heroes will be waiting for her to make her next attack. Sure, Fasha might not have some good grades in school, but she was certainly not stupid. She is far more crafty and cunning than most people would see her. It would have to take something very clever for Fasha to come up with in her next "big" plan and try to get her own way (in a bad way of course).
Waterboy was seen on a few cameras in the zoo and word is getting out about the new superhero. Clearly, in Royal Woods; word gets around fast, especially through mouth. Some of the girls in town heard about how handsome and dreamy Waterboy was and wanted him so badly.
It was rather ironic considering the fact that; Frankie had to keep his identity a secret. That, and he already had a beautiful lady in his life. What kind of a boyfriend would he be if he decided to just run off with another woman? A terrible boyfriend would be the appropriate answer. Deep down, Frankie was feeling more proud of himself at being a superhero and how he saved those animals from Star Girl, and his big, scary henchmen, and he knew it wouldn't be long until he became adored by everyone throughout Michigan, even if he was popular before he got his water powers.
Maybe when the time comes for him to do it, Frankie might reveal his secret identity to his girlfriend. Alas, he had to wait since he got them recently. Leni was getting much praise from the public as usual, along with Lincoln, though the attention was mostly on his sister since he wasn't a superhero that much.
"That was totally awesome!" Frankie said, with he and the other two at the Shaking Smoothie shack, coming back with a small tray of shaved ice. One was green apple, which was for Leni. Another was cherry, meant for Lincoln, and Frankie's was lemon, in the color of yellow. Shaved ice is always something very delightful to eat on, and far softer than a snow cone. "We really kicked some butt back there. Those chumps didn't stand a chance against us."
"I know!" Leni agreed with joy. "Everyone is safe and no one got really hurt. Although Fasha is still on the walk."
Lincoln looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "It's 'on the run', Leni."
"Oh."
"But you're right," the white-haired kid added. "Fasha is still out there, plotting something else. What i've learn from Ace Savvy and how his arch-enemies are, the bad guys always become smarter and crafty after being defeated again and again."
"No argument, Linc." said Frankie. "Still, I didn't really see that Star Girl as a supervillain. I would call her more like a... a pity villain."
"You mean petty?" Lincoln asked
"Yeah! Exactly."
"Even people like her can learn mistakes."
"Well, we don't have to worry about her now. Isn't she kind of a wanted criminal right now? I feel like she is wanted after all she did." Leni thought. "Besides, everyone loves me, and I am nice to everyone."
"Don't worry, Leni." said Frankie. "You are as pretty as a peach. Soft on the outside, and soft on the inside. I mean, what's not to like about a girl like you?"
Leni blushed and looked really flattered. "Oh, that's sweet of you." she said, "but Fasha doesn't like me. I just want her to stop this villain thing. I haven't done anything to her. I just don't get why she's so mean to everyone at school."
"Don't let it get to you." said Lincoln. "There will always be someone that won't like you in a way for reasons god knows what. And it's not just you, it's everyone in the world that goes through things like that. Not everyone's gonna like you."
"Yeah. I remember when I was in school, and there was a mean kid named Elmer Doyle. Big, tough, scary, and having a skull shirt on him. One day, he pushed me." Frankie explained. "For no reason."
"Did you hit him?" Leni asked.
"No. After he pushed me, he tried to punch me in the face. That's when i hit him. I made sure that i made quick work on him and that he would never bully me again. These things just happen for no reason. I don't know why Elmer didn't like me. All i know was that he just didn't like me, and always had the chance to hurt me and embarrass me at any time we would meet. In school, or outside of it."
"Well, sounds like you did a number on him." said Lincoln.
Proud, Frankie let out a small chuckle and said: "That I did, kid. Though, I did get suspended for a week, and Elmer got expelled after finding the things he did to me on his permanent record. But, I knew that it was something that I learned. I learned an important lesson that day: never let anyone push you around, and always stand up for yourself. And honestly, I was a small kid, probably the smallest in my class."
"Look at you now, Waterboy." said Leni. "You're big, strong, and tough."
"You can say that again, Leni. I'm like a brick wall now. Either that, or a tidal wave." The three enjoyed their shaved ice, and it was absolutely delicious. All three of them paid for their treats, and went back to Leni and Lincoln's place for some more training. Over time, Frankie came up with something creative, and decided to give it a try. "Guys, get ready for this new trick I thought of. I call it, the Water Wheel." he formed a wheel made of fire over him in the shape of a hula hoop, and he grabbed one side of it with his two hands.
Lincoln and Leni watched as he was about to perform his trick.
"Imagine doing a cartwheel, but more awesome and epic. Enemies would be like bowling pins and I would be the ball." Frankie carefully moved himself with the wheel, but he lost control of his powers briefly, and he tumbled on the grass.
"Ooh, you ok?" asked Leni
"Sure. I'm fine."
"Don't sweat it." Lincoln said. "You just need more practice."
