Blind Eye 4-10

Episode 4 part 10

The next night found the Saddle club, Elle and their dates in the lounge at Pine Hollow as they made their final preparations to crash a party.

Connor was wearing his trademark black slacks, dress white button-down shirt with a Nehru collar with a black blazer suit coat. Connor was adjusting his sleeves and brushing them off while Liam Phil, and Rafael were primping in the small mirror hanging on the wall.

"Okay," said Lisa, "I think we're ready."

"One second," said Rafael, "I just have to fasten these." Rafael was trying to fasten two unique looking cuff links with the Moondance Crest on it.

Just as it looked like he had succeeded in fastening them his hand slipped. The cuff link from his left sleeve clattered to the floor and rolled under the coffee table. Rafael half-dove after it!

"Got it." he said after a second or two.

"Good," said Lisa, "Then come out of there before you mess up your clothes!"

Rafael started to crawl backwards out from under the coffee table, when suddenly there was the sound of fabric ripping!

. "Uh Phil," said Rafael freezing with most of him still under the table. "a little help please."

"Why Me?" said Phil

"Just stop asking questions and get down here!" snapped Rafael impatiently

Phil looked puzzled but got down on his knees and looked under the table. Almost immediately he busted out laughing and fell over.

"Phil, stop laughing and help me!" snapped Rafael

"What's so funny, Phil," Said Stevie starting to laugh herself though she didn't know,"

Between laughs Phil managed to get out the words,

"Rafael, seat of Pants, caught on nail, torn!" Phil collapsed in an another fit of laughter. And this time so did everyone else.

"Get me out of here Phil!" snapped Rafael

Phil managed to get control of his laughter long enough to unhook Rafael's pants from the nail so he could get out from under the table without making the hole in the seat of his pants any bigger. He stood up and saw Lisa standing there. her Lips were pursed together, but her face was turning red.

"Oh no, not you too!" groaned Rafael blushing in embarrassment.

"Sorry Rafa," said Lisa as she lost her battle to keep it together and dissolved into giggles.

"I guess it is a little funny." Said Rafael smiling. Then the backed out of the room and grabbed his spare pants and changed into them.

"Okay," said Connor with a small smile, When Rafael got back, "Let's go crash this party before anything else happens."

The kids hurried outside and piled into Elle's SUV Limo and off they went.

45 minutes later they arrived at the party.

Dressing up and showing up in Elle's Limo worked perfectly. The bouncer at the door didn't even look twice at them as they walked by. inside they found all sorts of finally dressed people milling about a grand ball room of the Bridgestone Inn. Even the waiters were dressed up.

"Okay," whispered Lisa, "everybody split up and look for Reggie. If you find him text the others. The group split into their respective couples and went in separate directions.

Elle and Connor, Carol and Liam, Stevie and Phil, and Finally Lisa and Rafael. The part was spread out all over the five-star Hotel as the couples began strolling around.

Elle and Connor were strolling toward the Elevator planning to look in the roof top gardens. They entered the Elevator and soon stepped off at the entrance to the gardens.

As soon as passed through the door Connor felt Elle's grip on his arm tighten.

"Elle?" asked Connor quietly, "What is it?"

"He's here and so are several Sundance Clan members!" she whispered, "They're on the other side of the garden, I can hear them!"

"I'll text the others," said Connor reaching for his phone. Minutes later the others joined them and they crept quietly through the garden until the came upon Reggie who was in the middle of talking the Romani mercenaries.

"Can you here what they're saying Elle," whispered Liam

"I'll pretend you didn't ask that." Replied Elle then she continued, "They're planning to steal all the charity money after the deadline for donations at midnight!"
