It has been several hours since the attack on the group, and now it's close to sunset, and somewhere deeper in the boundaries of Arendelle Village, in the mountain bases, in a cave is a great number of the wolf-like monsters sleeping and resting as they are forced to change their body clock since they were changed from their former selves, having to sleep the days away and prowling the nights on their tyrant's orders.
One of them is waking up, his tuft of red and gold fur standing out among his dark pelt, and he gazed around, his gold eyes with a very tiny glint of warm brown looking upon the citizens of Arendelle Village, and his family of friends.
He could just see Anna sleeping on her back, slightly leaning on Kristoff's back as her red tuft flopped backwards, snoring yet not bothering Kristoff as he's deeply asleep, curled up into a ball as his stripe of blonde fur stood out on his head.
He smiled softly, and looked over slightly to see Baymax sleeping with his brother, Hiro. Baymax used to be a monitor lizard just like how Sven used to be a reindeer. Baymax is far bigger than Sven which is surprising as his lizard size was of a regular cat, but now he's big as a sled while most of the others are big as a wagon.
Anyhow, his albino white paws stood out from his dark pelt to tell him apart from the others, through the scents of all the people-turned beasts differ in ways. And his little brother, Hiro stood out with his wild tuft, through it's a close contest with Anna in the evenings as Anna's fur can be really crazy.
Nearby resting, is Sven, and strangely, his light-ish brown antlers became fur, becoming a particular body tattoo of sorts in standing out among in his dark pelt. Sven is sleeping next to Olaf, who is lying halfway over Marshmallow, his younger brother. Now, they used to be magical snowmen, thanks to a certain queen, but being beasts, they have no fear of melting anymore.
Olaf stands out with a overbite which the others don't have, while Marshmallow stands out with a scar on his face, a sort of crooked moon mark, due from attempting to kill Hans, but his older brothers/guards, the Stabbington Twins scarred him not even a month into the curse.
He sighed lightly as he remembered the queen's emotions that day...He then heard a half-mutter, and he glanced over to see Fred muttering in his sleep, his paw striking the air above him as he half-laid on his back, and side. He could see Fred's sharp, black claws, and he knew that those claws wouldn't harm anyone here, but when in attacking mode, those claws can really injury someone, or worse...
He hopes that dragon is healing, having sensed the power in the dragon as it fought him and his friends, and for the thousandth time, he wished to kill Hans for forcing all of this on his family, his friends, and his beloved! He then checked on the rest of his friends, smirking lightly as he sees Honey Lemon and Gogo cuddling together.
Honey Lemon has unusually long legs, enticing her to be taller than most of the others, and Gogo has a jet black bandana mark over her eyes. And then there's Wasabi, not quite close to the group, but still close enough to feel some security, and he stands out by having ear tufts. He's quite a exceptional tracker by hearing sounds a tad better than the others.
He then looked over to see upon the rest of the cursed village including the trolls. The trolls aren't made of rock anymore, having indestructible fur. He frowned lightly when he couldn't find a certain person, and he looked out to the front of the cave, and then got up carefully as to not wake the others yet.
Soon, he made it to the front of the cave, seeing the moon appearing over the horizon while giving out the first glimpses of sunset, and he can see her sitting on the outcrop of the cliff just in front of the cave, and he sighed softly, walking slowly.
Her ears flickered lightly, and she spoke, "Are they still sleeping, Tadashi?". Tadashi smiled softly as he took to sit next to her, "They had quite some action last night, Elsa. I couldn't blame them.". Elsa looked over at him with a weary expression, "That's good to know. The newcomers has gotten closer, and now, I can sense it...There's a new power...", a sigh escaping from her as she dropped her gaze, looking down at her ice blue claws.
Tadashi raised an eyebrow in surprise, "Another dragon?". Elsa sighed again, looking at him, "I don't know...It feels different from the dragon we fought...". Tadashi nuzzled her side of the face, "Hey, it's okay, Elsa. Maybe that bastard is going to receive karma...I mean, you said that dragons are legendary!".
Elsa nuzzled Tadashi back, "I suppose you're right, but dragons haven't existed for eons, why now? Why have they decided to come back?". Tadashi smiled softly, "I don't know, Elsa, but it has to be something big for them to return! We have prayed to be free from this curse, and I know you have attempted to use your ice powers on that bastard's source of power, but perhaps we are to be allied with the newcomers.".
Elsa blinked in surprise and thought, "Allies with the newcomers? But we've attacked them! All because I couldn't let him!", closing her eyes in pain and angst. Tadashi's ears lashed back in worry and sadness, frowning at Elsa's words, and he nuzzled her again, more affectionately this time, "My beloved, you saved a family. You stopped Hans from forcing Oaken to kill his own daughter!".
Elsa looked at him wearily, remembering that Hans ordered them to kill the newcomers, but when she refused, being the leader/queen of the beasts even after she was pushed off the throne, Hans used his ring of dark magic on one of her citizens, forcing Oaken to his paws, and ordering him to kill his own daughter.
Elsa was horrified, and she saw a flashing nightmare of her parents lost to the deadly northern seas, and she didn't wish the same of Oaken nor his daughter, so she recoiled back, telling Hans to stop it, telling him that she will lead the pack to destroy the newcomers, and so Hans stayed down, letting go of Oaken from the shackles of dark magic.
She didn't want to kill the humans or dwarfs of the group, and she regretfully decided on taking some of the donkeys, and fighting the dragon for they needed blood to live, to prove Hans that she and the pack has done the deed yet technically making a white lie out of it...
They heard the cursed donkeys' pleas and stories, so they killed some deer instead while the donkeys weren't looking, being in a side dead-end tunnel in the cave, now prisoners. Hans was satisfied, but now she has a feeling that as the new power is getting closer to Arendelle Village, Hans will be furious sooner or later.
Elsa sighed heavily, "That happened, yes, but what happens tonight? You know how sensitive he is with magic, especially with that ring...He will know they are alive, not dead...". Tadashi nodded in understanding, "You are wise, Elsa, as that makes sense. No wonder why I love you.", giving out a wry wolfish grin at her.
Elsa giggled softly, "The curse may have forced all of us to be beasts together, but I am glad that you're here, Tadashi. You already are a great leader at my side, and I have no doubt that you will be a wonderful king once the curse breaks one day.", nuzzling him back with strong affection, and love in her eyes.
Tadashi laughed lightly, "I suppose almost two years of courting as monsters still counts, huh?". Elsa smirks softly, "I am happy that you have decided to visit Arendelle Village that day...".
Tadashi smiled brightly, "How wouldn't I? It wasn't every day that a Queen turns 23 on her birthday...You looked quite beautiful in that dress...I am sorry I never got the chance in asking to dance with you...". Elsa smiled warmly, "Do not fret. You will get that chance someday. I am sure of it.".
Tadashi and Elsa kept nuzzling each other for a few more minutes until they were interrupted by a sharp tugging at their cores, feeling that too familiar hook of dark magic, and with solemn, understanding looks, they howled together to wake up the rest of the pack, knowing Hans, their tyrant master is awaiting, and they must hurry for they do not want his fury on anyone of the pack, especially Elsa.
