Despite all the Gem stuff happening on this planet these days, it's important to remember what the Crystal Gems are fighting for: the humans who live here. And in Beach City, there are some of the most fascinating people I've seen. Lars and Sadie are two teenage friends of Steven who work at the donut shop. The strange kid, Onion, and his half-brother, Sour Cream, are children of the town fisherman, Yellowtail, and his wife, the artist Vidalia. Jamie is Beach City's over-dramatic mailman. There is also Ronaldo, the annoying conspiracy nut interested in the Crystal Gems who is also the eldest son of the fry cook family. The Pizza family owns the pizza shop (although, that's pretty much self-explanatory). Mr. Smiley owns the Funland amusement park. Dewey is the mayor of Beach City, and his son lakes to make T-Shirts.
