"Ash, hurry up, or we'll be late for school!" exclaimed Serena, already standing at the door, to her boyfriend, who was still changing.
"Just a moment!" exclaimed Ash, and Serena sighed. As usual, Ash had slept a little too long, and now they were starting to be late for school.
Serena drummed the door handle with her fingers and thought. Why did Mondays always have to be like this? Their weekend had been just wild enough, so Monday could very well have been a little calmer.
Serena straightened her red beanie and recalled the previous day. Remembering it made her at the same time frown and feel a little sad.
They had been yesterday at the airport to escort Clemont and Bonnie to the airplane as they left back to Kalos. Ash and Serena had said a little sad goodbye to their friends and promised to keep in touch as much as they could. Clemont and Bonnie had been equally sad and also promised to keep in touch.
But that wasn't the reason Serena frowned. No, because it was because of a completely different thing, and that "thing" was called Eevee.
On Saturday, after returning from his little "adventure", it had just slept and been very quiet. Ash and Serena had been a little worried about it, but the professors, returning home and hearing about the day's events, had comforted and said Eevee was probably just tired. And they had been right.
On Sunday, the situation had completely turned. Eevee had revealed to be a very curious and energetic Pokemon, and from the morning he had been researching everything he could get in his paws. Ash and Serena quickly wished Eevee would have been a little calmer after all, and Serena wondered when was the last time she had to get a Pokemon off the roof when he tried to fly like a Flying-type Pokemon.
Thinking about Eevee made Serena blink around and look for the object of her thoughts. Eevee refused to be in his Pokeball for more than a minute and because of that, Serena was constantly looking that it did not get into any new trouble.
However, she did not see Eevee anywhere and began to worry about whether Eevee had somehow managed to sneak out again. She was just about to open the door and see if Eevee would be seen outside when she suddenly felt someone tapping her on the shoulder and a familiar voice saying a little irritated, "Braixen brai!"
Serena turned and saw Braixen standing in front of her with her hands in a gust. She tapped the ground with her foot and then pointed at her bushy tail and said irritably, "Brai!" And Serena immediately guessed what it was all about.
She sighed and said, "Eevee, get out of there. It's not your nest." She waited a moment for the matter to sink into Eevee's brain and soon Eevee's small head appeared from Braixen's tail. For some strange reason, Eevee liked to hide among it, and Serena thought the reason was that Braixen had kept Eevee's egg among her tail.
Serena walked over to Braixen and lifted little Eevee into her arms. Eevee stared at Serena's eyes, saying, "Evoi?" and Serena smiled at it.
"Funny little Eevee," she said to him and gently tapped Eevee on the nose. Eevee laughed and laughter made Serena smile broadly.
"Someone's having fun," suddenly Ash's voice was heard and Serena and Eevee turned their heads in the direction of the voice. They saw Ash coming, grinning at them with Pikachu on his shoulder, and when they saw the boy, Eevee's mouth spread into a wide grin and it began to wave its tail wildly.
"Yep," said the smiling Serena and let Eevee back to the ground. It immediately rushed to Ash and began happily jump around him. Ash smiled at it and then lifted it over his head, where he left excited and wagging his tail. It grinned at Pikachu and Serena giggled.
"Shall we go? I thought we had a little hurry," Ash and Serena said suddenly seemed to remember the thing.
"Oh, yes," she said, opened the door and then they stepped out. Braixen followed after them and finally closed the door.
They walked along the road towards Pokemon School and Eevee bounced happily in front of them. It excitedly explored everything it found and Pikachu walked beside it, pointing Eevee with all sorts of new stuff to explore.
Ash and Serena looked at Eevee with a smile and Serena said, "You know, Eevee reminds you a little bit, Ash. You're both equally energetic and curious."
"Heh, I think you're right," Ash laughed and looked at Eevee, who sniffed the stone in front of him with interest. Then he smiled and said, "But, it reminds you a little too. Look now, Eevee jumps around just like you did when you performed. When you, by the way, did think to start performing again?"
Serena glared at Ash. "I'm not 'jumping around', I'm dancing. They're two completely different things," she said supposedly angrily, but as she glanced at Ash, she noticed that the boy was just grinning.
"I know. I've seen you perform," Ash said with a smile and Serena rolled her eyes. Then, however, she sighed and said: "But about your second question... well, I don't know. Yes, I have been practicing, but the actual show... I have not been thinking about that. I do not even know can I do it anymore.."
She seemed a little uncertain and Ash grabbed her by the hand and said as Serena turns to look at him: "Don't worry, I'm sure you would have it as good as ever"
Serena smiled at Ash's words and squeezed his hand. "Thank you, Ash," she said and pressed a light kiss to the boy's cheek. Ash grinned and then he said suddenly, "I guess I hear the school bell ringing. Let's go, I want to see what others say about Eevee!"
"Me too!" exclaimed Serena giggling and then they left to run hand in hand towards school. Pikachu and Eevee stayed behind them for a moment until they left to run after them, exclaiming, "Pika!" and "Evee!"
"Awww! It's so cute!" exclaimed Mallow when she saw Eevee and snatched a very confused looking furball into her arms. She hugged him tightly against herself and Eevee looked at his "parents"/trainer begging for mercy.
Ash, Serena and the Pokemon had finally gotten to school and miraculously they weren't even too late. Professor Kukui had not yet arrived at the class and at that time the class decided to make acquaintance with Eevee.
Eevee had caused admiration in the friends of Ash and Serena and Mallow in particular had fallen in love with the little "furball" right away. Their Pokemon, too, had been very interested in Eevee, and Eevee had suddenly made many new friends. It had been very confused at first, but quickly changed back to its own, curious self.
"Mallow, relax a little. You're breaking its ribs," Lana said with a sweatdrop as she watched her friend hug Eevee very tightly. However, Mallow didn't care about her, but turned to Kiawe and asked, showing Eevee to the boy, "Look now, isn't he cute?!"
"Yeah, very cute," Kiawe said, watching with a grin as Eevee ripped himself off Mallow's grip and jumped to the floor. It stayed a moment on the floor, but notice then Sophocles' Togedemaru, and set out to chase it, squealing with excitement.
Ash, Serena and classmates watched with sweatdrop as Eevee chased Togedemaru around the class and Lillie said, "At least he has enough energy." She watched as Togedemaru jumped on one of the chairs and Eevee left his tail waving on the floor lurking on it.
"Yeah," Serena said, walking to Eevee, who jumped against the chair, and lifted it in her arms. Eever waved its small legs as it rose into the air and then grinned at Togedemaru, who seemed relieved to get rid of her torment. "And sometimes a little too much"
"Yep, and that's..," Ash began, but his sentence was left broken, because just then Professor Kukui entered the classroom, saying: "Alola, class! I'm sorry that I'm a little late, I and principal Oak had to sort out some important things.."
He stepped to his desk and in the meantime, the class moved to their own seats. Serena was still holding Eevee in her arms and Eevee had started rumbling again as he had noticed something new and interesting and wanted to get to explore it. Eventually, Serena dropped it on the floor and Eevee ran excitedly to his new target and now Braixen was left to look after it.
Lillie immediately raised her hand when she heard the professor's words and asked, "What kind of things, Professor?" She sat in her chair with her back straight, as always, and Snowy at her desk sat in the almost exact same position.
Professor Kukui looked at Lillie with a slightly mysterious smile and then said, "I was just coming to it. I have exciting things to tell you!"
"I hope it doesn't involve a trip to the woods," Ash whispered to Serena and Serena smiled sourly. She still had unnecessarily vivid memories of their last trip to the woods, and the stitches still on Ash's shoulder reminded them of that horrible day with their existence. (Ash was still a little sour about it, as he wasn't allowed to fight in full because of them. Luckily, the stitches would be removed soon)
Professor Kukui seemed to hear Ash's whisper, for he smiled and said, "No worries, there are no forest trips involved in this thing. For this time we are not going anywhere, but special guests are coming to us!"
This caused an enthusiastic rumble in the classroom.
"Special guests?!"
"Who are they?"
"When are they coming?"
"Do I know them?" were at least among the rumble and Professor Kukui waited for the rumble to subside a little and then said, "That's right. These special guests arrive at us on Thursday and I'm not telling you, who they are. It is a surprise to you"
He looked at his class and Ash exclaimed, "Wow, mystery guests! I can't wait to meet them!"
But Professor Kukui wasn't done yet. "But that's not all. Namely, the guests have a request for you, Serena."
"To me?" said Serena very amazed and the class turned to look at her in wonder. "What do they want from me?"
Kukui smiled again and explained, "Well, they've heard you're a Pokemon performer. So, they asked if you could have a little show."
Serena was very surprised. "They want me to perform for them?" she repeated and Kukui nodded. "Yes," he said, looking at Serena with a smile. "So, what do you say?"
Serena bit her lips. What would she answer? Was she ready? She had been in Alola now for many months and the fatigue had evaporated from her a long time ago and she could have returned to the world of performance a long time ago. And she had practiced. At least it wasn't up to it. The only problem was herself.
She glanced at Ash, who was sitting next to her, and this flashed her his familiar, wide smile. "Go on, Serena!" he said his thumbs up, and Pikachu, who was at his desk, accompanied him, saying, "Pika pikachu!" And that was enough for Serena to make a decision.
"All right, I'll do it," Serena finally said and Ash exclaimed, "Yeah!" and raised his fist in the air. Pikachu mimicked him and also raised his little fist in the air, while exclaiming, "Pika!"
Professor Kukui looked pleased and said with a smile, "Great. I'll let Principal Oak know this. Actually, I'll do it right away, so wait a minute." Then he left the class and left the students together for a moment.
"Yeah! It's going to be awesome!" Ash shouted excitedly that he would be able to see Serena perform again, and turned to look at Serena. This smiled at him and Ash raised his thumbs up.
Mallow, Lana and Lillie also seemed excited about this and Mallow said, "I can't wait to see you perform. It's guaranteed to be awesome, right, Kiawe?"
She turned to look at the boy who had been silent for the last minutes. "Yeah, I guess," this one replied, but Sophocles beside him looked confused. "But I don't. Could someone tell me what that 'Performing' really is?"
"So did I get it right? So you're kind of dancing with your Pokemon and at the same time they make their moves, trying to make them as beautiful as possible?" Sophocles asked Serena his hands in a gust and this one nodded.
The school had ended a moment ago and they had come to the beach to spend time. Serena had just explained to Sophocles what the performances were in practice and their description had proved surprisingly difficult.
"Yeah, kind of," she said, looking at Eevee, who was trying to catch the small waves coming ashore with his paw. However, it wasn't quite that simple, because whenever the wave came ashore, Eevee jumped back and it had to start all over again. Standing next to it, Pikachu and Litten watched this with a sweatdrop.
"What if you showed us how it works in practice?" suggested Mallow sitting on a large rock and waving her legs. "Then we might be easier to figure it out"
"Yeah, good idea!" exclaimed Ash and stood up from the sand he had just sat on. "It would be awesome! So, do it, Serena, please?" He looked pleadingly at his girlfriend, and Serena, who had watched Eevee manage to anger Litten by splashing water on his face, giggled.
"Okay, okay, I'll show," she giggled and Ash exclaimed, "Yeah!" Serena looked at him with a smile and then she picked up a few of her Pokeballs and said, "Okay, guys. Let's show them how to perform!"
She threw the Pokeballs into the air and Sylveon and Braixen appeared in front of her. They turned to look at Serena and Serena said to them, "Okay, guys. Let's just do as we've practiced, okay?"
"Syl sylveon!" exclaimed Sylveon happily and Braixen nodded. It took its branch in its hand and then said, "Braixen!" Serena looked at them with a smile and then turned to her "audience".
"Too bad we don't have music now, it would have made this even better," she said apologetically, but Ash just shook his head and said, "It doesn't matter, just go on!"
Serena nodded and then she nodded to her Pokemon. These nodded back then settled into place. The audience seemed interested and Pikachu, Litten and Eevee also came interested in watching the starting show.
At first, everything went well, and Serena's performance looked as great as her "official" performance. She nodded to Sylveon that she would do with her feelers a trick they had invented some time ago, and to Braixen that she would do the Flamethrower in a special way.
But then something happened and everything went wrong. Just as Serena was spinning around, she somehow managed to mess her legs up with Sylveon's feelers and lose her balance. Of course, it also caused Sylveon to fall, and since Serena managed to swing pretty much in that rush, Braixen also managed to fall on them.
There was only a big stumble as they all lay on the ground in a big pile, Serena at the bottom and Sylveon and Braixen on top of her. Sylveon's feelers were wrapped around them, and the remnants of Braixen's Flamethrower rained on them like a golden-red glitter.
"Serena! Are you okay?!" exclaimed Ash, immediately rushing to his girlfriend, sounding worried. Mallow, Lillie and others also came to them and Eevee was immediately curiously sniffing on the spot.
"Ouh.. my head," Serena said, rubbing her forehead, which Braixen had accidentally managed to hit with her branch. Her right hand also ached, and she thought she had hit it somewhere as well. "Could someone help me up?"
"Here, grab this," Ash said, reaching out to Serena and Serena grabbed it gratefully. At the same time, Pikachu and Greninja also helped Sylveon and Braixen up from the ground, and they smiled gratefully at them as well.
Ash drew Serena up from the ground and back to stand. But Serena hadn't noticed that there was still one of Sylveon's feelers around her ankle and that's why she swayed and stumbled against Ash's chest.
"Careful. It wouldn't be nice if you fall again," Ash said with a grin and Serena nodded, looking at Ash's auburn, smiling eyes. At the same, she felt how Sylveon detached her feelers off from her ankle and she was free again.
"Thank you for helping me up," she said with a smile and pressed a light kiss to Ash's lips.
"Wow, Serena. It was quite a show," Mallow's slightly teasing voice came from next to them. Serena turned a little blushed and saw Mallow grin at him. "Did that crash include that?"
"No," Serena said and sighed. "And I hope that's not the case when the actual performance is"
"Don't worry, I'm sure it's going to be awesome," said Ash, raising his fist resolutely up and Pikachu, jumping back to Ash's shoulder, imitated him, exclaiming, "Pikachu!"
"Yep, Ash is right, I'm sure that your performance is amazing," said Mallow, and also the other nodded. Serena looked at them with a smile and said, "Thank you, guys. You're the best." But in her mind, she was still a little worried.
The week passed quickly and with it also Thursday. Every day, Pokemon School students wonder who the mystery guests mentioned by Professor Kukui were and where they would come from. There were lots of guesses, but they still couldn't agree on which guess would be right.
For Serena, the week was also busy as she rehearsed every day for her performance, which she would present to guests. She wanted it to be perfect, and that's why she practiced with her Pokemon for many hours a day. Often she just returned to eat and spent the rest of the time elsewhere. Ash had laughed one day and said that even his workouts left him second to Serena. Serena had responded by rolling her eyes.
But eventually, Thursday arrived and with that, the excitement about the surprise guests increased. And now we jump straight to Melemele Island Airport, as the class has just arrived there to welcome the arriving guests.
"This is so exciting! I can't wait to meet those surprise guests!" exclaimed Mallow and looked very excited. "We'll finally know who they are!"
The Pokemon School class had gathered at Melemele Island Airport to await surprise guests. Professor Kukui had gone to ask something at the information desk, so the class had been left sitting on some benches with each other and waiting, either professors or guests, whoever they were.
"Yeah, but is this absolutely necessary? You'd think they'd get there anyway," Kiawe said, referring to a large cardboard sign they'd made yesterday that read in large, black letters, "Pokemon School Special Guests." The sign garnered amused glances from passing people and Pokemon, and Kiawe, who was holding the sign, wasn't very excited about it. "It's just in the way"
"Nonsense," Mallow said and took the sign from Kiawe's hand. She put it in front of her face and looked at it more closely. "It's really good. Admittedly, the text could have been painted a little better," she hummed and looked at the text, which had been painted a little carelessly on the sign.
"Hey!" exclaimed Ash, who had been responsible for it, and slumped pouting into his chair. "I do notice when my skills aren't appreciated," he muttered and Serena looked at him with a sweatdrop and Pikachu patted him on the back, saying, "Pika..."
"Don't worry, Ash. Mallow just is what she is," Kiawe said teasingly and Mallow showed him her tongue. "I thought you were on my side," she said theatrically, turning her back on Kiawe, and this looked confused.
"I am, but..." Kiawe began, but his sentence broke, for just then they heard a familiar voice saying, "I thought my welcome committee would be a little different. Well, this is fine, too," and they all turned in the direction of the voice.
In front of them stood a familiar, orange-haired girl who looked at them with a grin and hands on her hips. "Misty?" said Ash in amazement and the girl nodded.
"Yep, that one and only," Misty said, then blinked around, as if looking for something or someone. "Where did he get...," she muttered until she seemed to find what she was looking for and then muttered, "Of course."
While others looked confused, Misty quickly leaped to a pretty girl with a young man kneeling in front of her who seemed to look at the girl in worship. When Ash saw the man, he recognized this immediately and burst out laughing. Others looked at him a little in amazement, but then looked more closely at the man Misty had marched to and, recognizing this, understood why Ash was laughing.
"Oh, you beautiful lady. You are the loveliest thing I've ever seen and...," said in front of a pretty girl kneeling man, but his sentence was interrupted the pain cry, when Misty grabbed him by the ear and started to drag away, a pretty girl left look dazed after him.
"You're hopeless, Brock," Misty said in a slightly tired voice as she dragged the latter away, people looking at them with a grin. "You promised to stop that, but no. We're not even outside the airport when you're already proposing the first oncoming girl."
"But she was so pretty," Brock whined, but only earned a tighter grip on his ear. Misty herself, instead, said nothing, and dragged the complaining Brock to the others and the grinning Ash said, "Hey Brock. Nice to see you too."
"Likewise," said Brock, rubbing his ear, and Misty rolled her eyes at him.
"But what are you doing here? I thought you were busy with your Gyms," said Ash, who was a little confused now, and the others nodded as well.
Misty was just responding to it, when Ash suddenly felt someone slapping their hand on his back so that Ash's teeth clanked together and saying, "Have you ever heard of a vacation, Ashy-boy? The kind of thing people do when they want a longer break from something" and Ash's eyes spread as he recognized the sound.
He quickly turned around in his chair, looking at the speaker, and said in amazement, recognizing this, "No way. Oak-tree?" For that spiky-haired boy could be no one else.
"The name is Gary, but yes, Ashy-boy," Gary Oak said with a grin and then noticed a movement in the corner of his eye. Turning his gaze, he noticed how Brock had once again knelt in front of some pretty girl, and Misty headed briskly to pull him out of it. Alola's gang sweatdropped on it and Gary muttered, "And I'm called a player."
Ash, on the other hand, didn't pay very much attention to the whole show, as he knew what Brock was like. Instead, he turned better in his chair and asked, raising his eyebrows, "What are you doing here, by the way? I understand Misty and Brock, but you? You don't have a Gym from where you'd like to take a vacation time to time."
"You're right. And the reason why I came here is that I came to check out what kind of hot babes Alola offers," Gary said, raising his eyebrows. Then he seemed to notice Serena, who was sitting next to Ash, and smiled. "And there's one right in front of me right now. I notice that the adorable miss Serena is still here," he said, winking the eye to the girl and Serena blushed.
"Careful. Don't even think about it," Ash said warningly and moved closer to Serena. Gary looked at him smirking and then laughed, saying, "I was just joking. And I'm really not here to 'check out the hot babes.' I'm here because gramps needed someone to assist him, and of course I saw a free vacation opportunity in that"
"Gramps? Does that mean Professor Oak..?" Ash began in amazement, but he interrupted his sentence, because just then behind Gary heard another familiar voice that said, "Yes, Ash my boy, I'm also here, as my grandson was able to tell"
Professor Samuel Oak stepped with his hands behind his back towards them and a smile on his face. However, as he got to Gary, the look became a little sharper as he looked at Gary and said, "And I expect he's also ready to do something for his 'free vacation.' Otherwise.."
"Relax, gramps. Of course I'll help you," said Gary, crossing his arms behind his neck and Professor Oak looked pleased.
"Good. You can start by carrying this bag," he said, handing Gary the bag he had held in his hand. As Gary took it in his hand, it turned out to be heavier than he expected and it slammed into the ground, bumping heavily. Gary looked at it in disbelief and said, "What have you put into that? Wailmer?"
"A few books and clothes," replied Professor Oak, and Ash snickered at Gary's expression. As this glared at Ash while picking up the bag from the ground, Professor Oak seemed to notice something that made him smile, and he said, "Ah, and there comes Professor Kukui. Nice to see you again."
Professor Kukui really made his way through the people and Pokemon to them and finally got there. "Our special guests have apparently gotten there. It's nice to see you again," he said with a smile as Misty and Brock, whose both ears were red, walked over to them. "Let's go to Pokemon School then. Principal Oak is already waiting for us."
"Great, show the way. Good old Samson is always fun to see," said Professor Oak with a smile and he and Professor Kukui set out to head towards the main door of the airport.
Alola's gang and Misty and Brock followed them and were followed by Ash, Serena, Pikachu, and Gary Oak, who was carrying Professor Oak's bag in his arms and muttering something vague between his teeth. Ash looked at him with a grin and then said to him teasingly, "I thought the Oak trees were strong, but..."
"Shut up, Ketchum," said Gary, and Ash closed his mouth, but left grin to Gary and Serena rolled her eyes to both boys.
When they finally got to Pokemon School, Principal Oak was in front of them at the gate. Seeing them, he smiled broadly and then stepped closer to them, the little Vulpix next to him.
"Ah, I was already waiting for you," he said with a wide smile and Vulpix cried happily. Then he shook the hand of Professor Oak, who was smiling just as wide, and said, "Nice to see you again, Samuel. Did the flight go well?"
"As well, Samson," Professor Oak said as he squeezed Principal Oak's hand and smiled. "And yep, there were no problems with the flight, everything went great"
"Except Brock tried to hit a few flight attendants, but otherwise it was really nice," Gary muttered, slamming his grandfather's bag into the ground, but no one listened to him. Instead, Principal Oak turned to Misty and Brock, who stood nearby the Alolan gang, and said with a smile, "And there we have our special guests. I'm sure that you will enjoy your week here, the students will come up definitely lots of different adventures for you ."
"Thanks, and indeed. And if I wasn't quite wrong, Serena promised to give us some sort of show," Brock said and they all turned to look at Serena, who blushed a little from all sudden attention.
"Um... yeah, that's right," she said, glancing at Ash. This nodded encouragingly to her and Pikachu on his shoulder also raised his thumbs up. Serena was given more confidence to continue, and she said with a smile, "I was told you were interested in seeing my performance, so, shall we going?"
"Definitely! I can't wait to see the famous Serena Yvonne perform," Misty said, and there was no sarcasm in her voice at all, but genuine interest. It surprised Serena a bit, as she hadn't expected Misty to be interested in something like the performances.
"Great. This way then," said Principal Oak, and set out to lead the crowd toward the schoolyard. Ash grinned at Serena and Serena grinned at him back and then they went hand in hand towards the school as well.
And finally behind them, all came Gary, who was carrying Professor Oak's bag, muttering, "If I had known that helping gramps was like this, I wouldn't have bothered." And quietly cursing, he went after the others.
After a while, they had finished everything. With the help of the Pokemon, they had set up some kind of stage in the schoolyard and also set up an auditorium in front of it. Serena had changed into a pretty, blue-and-white dress and now she was waiting behind the stage for the show to begin.
She spun Altaria's Pokeball in her hand and felt a disgusting feeling of tension in her stomach. C'moon Serena, you've performed to bigger audiences too, you can do this, she encouraged herself and suddenly a picture of Ash's smiling face flashed in her mind.
It illuminated her with more confidence and she stopped the Altaria's ball in her hand. Right, if Ash can do anything, then I can too, she thought determined, then took a wide smile on her face and stepped on stage.
As Serena stepped in front of her audience, a familiar trio watched them from a completely different direction. They watched through binoculars from nearby bushes as Serena smiled at her audience and Meowth said, "The Kalos twerpette is apparently going to present some sort of performance to the other twerps."
"Yep, and even the original twerps have arrived to watch it, that carrot-haired girl and that rock boy, from twerps Kanto-times, remember?" said James and Jessie snorted.
"Yeah, and don't remind me of that. We were pretty stupid back then," she said, and Meowth muttered, "And how much wiser we're now." And in a result, he got a bump on his head when Jesse hit him with her binoculars.
As Serena stepped onto the stage, the rumble in the audience immediately fell silent. They watched as Serena looked at them with a smile, albeit a little uncertainly, and her gaze circled the audience.
Suddenly, her gaze stopped at Ash, who was sitting right in the front row with Pikachu on his lap, and her blue eyes met Ash's auburn ones. Silently, Ash raised his thumbs up and formed the words in his mouth, "Go on, Serena." Then a determined smile spread across Serena's face and she nodded slightly.
Right, she thought and then threw three of her Pokeballs into the air. "Braixen, Altaria, Eevee, let's do this!" she exclaimed as the Pokemon appeared beside her and settled in the right places.
Serena then nodded imperceptibly to Professor Kukui, who was sitting nearby, whose lap was some sort of stereo, for a moment to put on the music. This nodded and was just doing so until suddenly, something unexpected happened.
Suddenly a violent gust of wind blew across the yard. It snatched Ash's cap and Lillie's sun hat off their heads, waved the girls' hair on their faces, and made Eevee almost fly away. Then clouds gathered in recently a perfectly clear sky and then Lillie exclaimed, "Look at the sky!"
They all looked and saw that the sky was somehow waving strangely. Then a big hole suddenly opened in it and Serena breathed when she realized it was exactly the same as when the Ultra Beast had taken Lillie's mother to another dimension.
And then something that resembled a giant and muscular mosquito, slowly appeared from the hole. It was left hovering in the sky as they stared at it with their mouths wide open and then Gary said, "What the hell is going on here?"
"We.. don't know"
