Mist, a high master of the Water Style of Ultimate Color Fighting. However, before she was a high master, she, like most, people, was born a child.
In the middle of the ocean, there is an island that is not within reach of any civilization for hundreds of miles. Yet...miraculously...a little baby girl had washed up on the shores. No parents, no one to care for her. How she managed to survive for 6 years without any supervision was a total mystery...least it is to most people except Aquaria, a past master of the Water Style.
"I see...so that's what made you bring in that child." Sayuri said pouring tea.
"Yes...she's truly a gifted Color Fighter. A talent like that is rare even among us." Aquaria said.
"So...you know the truth about how she survived." Sayuri said.
"I do. Long before anyone found her, she had unconsciously used the Water Style to create constructs to care for her and play with her. Without a doubt, she's a true genius. Master is even considering giving her a Promotion Exam." Aquaria said.
"This soon? Hmm, this is just like that one person. Who was she?" Sayuri asked.
"I assume you mean Illuma, the one master brought home. Yes. In fact, not too long ago, both Blazer and Umbra, Gold and Silver's children, both passed the exam at the same time." Aquaria said.
"Really? Seems a lot of young people are passing the exams." Sayuri said. "Perhaps its a sign."
"Maybe so. An omen of something to come in the distant future? Or maybe a sign of prosperity. Its truly hard to say." Aquaria said. "Perhaps we'll see. You should consider taking on an apprentice yourself. Its the best way to ensure our styles live on."
"I'll have to consider it." Sayuri said.
"Yeah...in the meantime...I need to make sure my pupil rises to the best of her ability." Aquaria said as she headed off.
Under her tutelage, Mist became a very talented color fighter and high master. Though, whether Aquaria's prediction would come true or not still remains to be seen. But...only time will tell how this generation will turn out.
