The chapters keep coming!

I'm so pleased you like the proposal and the therapy session.

Tumnus96 - thanks a million for your lovely review, an ex girlfriend girlfriend was training to be a counsellor whilst we were together and so I channelled that experience into this experience :) Unfortunately, on a personal level I'm pretty rubbish at communicating my feelings, although I am heaps better than I used to be.

So here is a short sweet/fun chapter to keep our fav couple Callie and Arizona moving towards their happy ending.

Once the zoom call had finished Callie shut the laptop down and turned to face Arizona.

"You OK?" Callie asked with concern.

Arizona looked lovingly at Callie and nodded "I am. I'm probably going to have wobbles every now and then, but what Dr Dawson said, she was right...I just need to try and remember to just take each day as at comes and not worry."

"Arizona, you can have a wobble, it's natural to worry, but I'm here for you. Talk to me, no matter how silly it may seem at the time."

Callie looked seriously at Arizona "I am truly sorry I wasn't there for you like you needed me."

"It's OK. I'm sorry that it came up. I mean it was a long time ago, but as I said, the pregnancy has bought it to back a bit."

"I understand" Callie said.

"Do you know what else I've been thinking about a lot recently?" Arizona said snuggling into Callie for a hug.

"How amazing I am?" Callie said jokingly.

"Well obviously! but since you asked me to marry me...I've been thinking about the first time we met!"

"You have?" Callie said turning her head to look at Arizona.

"And when I say met...I obviously mean kiss!" The blonde said raising her eyebrows in a sexy way.

"Ahhh yes...the old Robbins signature bathroom move..." Callie said joking again.

"Hey!" Arizona said sitting up and giving the brunette a friendly slap on the arm. "I'll have you know you were the first...and last...person I have kissed in a bathroom." Arizona said as if it was something to be proud about.

The blonde's face turned serious for a moment. "I knew it was special" Arizona said holding Callie's gaze.

"Huh?" Callie replied.

"When I kissed you... the first time at Joe's...it felt special." Arizona paused "I'd only been at the hospital a couple of weeks, but I kept hearing about this ortho surgeon goddess who had been dumped by the head or cardio, who happened to be a woman. It was hot gossip, but as I said that night, it was good gossip, because everyone couldn't believe that Erica had done that to you. I clearly remember thinking why it was such big news, and then one day I saw you, at the hospital...and I got it."

"You did?" Callie said blushing slightly at hearing this for the first time.

"I did. I was in the canteen when I saw that smile for the first time, and I understood why people were so interested in the gossip. You didn't know me from Adam, but when I saw you walk into Joe's that night, I couldn't take my eyes off you."

"Wow after all these years I never really knew why you came into the bathroom" Callie admitted.

"I know. And for the record... I never intended to kiss you that night. I saw you were upset and I was just going to say that people were interested and leave it at that..."

"But...?" Callie fished for more.

"But then you laughed, and I lost myself in those eyes and I couldn't help it. I just had to kiss you." Arizona admitted.

Callie smiled "I knew the instant your lips hit mine, that I was in trouble." Callie said softly.

"Ahhh the truth comes out now Torres...no more playing it cool huh!" Arizona said with a big cheesy smile on her face.

"The way you gave me that unforgettable dimpled smile as you backed away. I pictured that smile for days afterwards. I relived that kiss thinking of whitty things I should have said, but you literally took my breath away. My life, Arizona Robbins...good and bad, has never been the same since that kiss."

"Mine neither" Arizona said softly.

"Well...that's not really true is it.?" Callie said smiling "I mean, you turned me down a few days later when you found out that Erica was my first, and then you went on a date with Jenny...". Callie said sticking out her bottom lip pretending to be upset.

"Seriously? You're bringing that up again...after all these years...and it was Julie not Jenny...as well you know Calliope Torres!" Arizona replied smiling.

Callie laughed "you know I'll never let you forget that!"

"Actually, you do realise that we owe our whole life together to Alex. If he hadn't had kicked my butt that day I probably would never have changed my mind about you and asked you out."

"Oh so it's all Karev's fault" Callie said before breaking into a broad smile. "God...it seems like a lifetime ago".

"That's because it was!" Arizona replied.

"Can you imagine our faces if someone had described what life had in store for us!"

"Yeah, it would have looked like this!" Arizona joked pulling the pose of the character in the Edvard Munch painting The Scream.

"Stop it!" Callie laughed.

"It's true." Arizona said joining in laughing.

"Wow. If you think back over everything, we're like characters in an epic Greek tragedy...only with a happy ending." Callie suggested.

"It's like a Tarantino three parter!" Arizona added

"We're in the final part now and it's all good from here on."

"I hope so" Arizona said warmly.

During the first four weeks of the first trimester Arizona had suffered from really bad morning sickness. One night as she hugged the toilet bowl and Callie held her hair and rubbed her back, the blonde went on a rant.

"Why the fuck is it call morning sickness when it strikes morning, noon and evening. Who do I complain to about false advertising? Arizona moaned "why did I think this was a good idea Callie...I mean you didn't have it this bad...why me...I bet I'm gonna get it all...the insomnia, the indigestion and heart burn, the weak bladder, the stretch marks, the swollen ankles…well at least I'll only have one to worry!"

Callie chuckled "Err Arizona I think you just pretty much described all pregnancies!"

"Urgh..." Arizona moaned "...and then after all of that...well then we get to spend 10 hours trying to push a bowling ball out of our vaginas whilst crapping ourselves at the same time!"

Callie tried not to laugh, but she found it funny that someone who had spent so much time around pregnant women as part of her job was surprised at the symptoms.

"Babe..." Callie said as she helped Arizona get to her feet and handed her a wet facecloth "what you are doing is amazing...you are bringing a life into this world...it sucks at times, but you wait...you wait till you feel that first kick...and then I promise you...it will be worth it all."

Arizona wiped her face with the cloth and took a swig of mouthwash. "I know it will. I'm sorry for moaning...we're lucky we got this far...thank you for being so understanding." Arizona said with a soft smile.

Callie wrapped her arms are the blonde's waist "hey it's not all bad you know...you get to wear elasticated waist jeans!"

Arizona shot Callie a seriously look before wrapping her arms around the brunette's neck "I'll tell you what I AM looking forward to…. being able to eat as much ice cream as I want, once I stop feeling sick!"

A couple of weeks later and Callie had just made it through the door and was taking her coat off when Arizona came sliding into the hallway in her socks with a look on her face that meant one thing.

Callie smiled as she started putting her coat back on "what is it this time?" The brunette asked in relation to all the weird cravings Arizona was now having now that the sickness had passed.

"I've no idea why, but it's pickles and peanut butter" Arizona replied with a shrugged of her shoulders.

"OK well we have those in the fridge" Callie said as she started to take her jacket off again.

"Noooo"'Arizona replied "they are the wrong type!"

Callie shot the blonde a look "really?"

"Yes...we only have sliced gherkins and crunchy PB..." Arizona explained in horror.

"And that won't do?" Callie asked with a sigh as the coat came on again.

"Thank you babe" Arizona said as she placed a kiss on the brunette's lips "I have an insane craving right now to dip one of those big, fat, juicy pickles into a jar of velvety smooth peanut butter!"

Callie swallowed the lump that had just formed in her throat "only you can make that sound sexy!"

Arizona laughed "HA! that's because you're sex starved, so everything is probably sounding sexy right now!" Arizona said with a smile as she lent in and whispered into Callie's ear "Twinkies smothered in...hot sauce!"

"Stop it you freak!" Callie laughed as she playfully pushed Arizona away smiling at the blonde.

Due to the morning sickness their sex life had dried up, which was completely understandable.

"I am however, looking forward to the start of the second trimester...and hopefully the return of your libido!" Callie smiled as she placed a kiss on Arizona's lips.

"My poor baby...I promise I'll make it up to you..." Arizona said smiling.

"Now that's one promise I'll hold you to Arizona Robbins" Callie said as she pulled the blonde in for another kiss.

"Mmmm you taste nice!" Arizona said with a twinkle in her eye..."but not as nice as a pickle smothered in PB!" She said with a cheeky dimpled smile.

"Okay...I'm going...you know it's not fair your being so god damn cute AND pregnant"

"Oh why's that?" the blonde asked innocently.

"Because I literally cannot say no to anything you ask me!" Callie replied laughing. "I mean it was hard enough before when you gave me those twinkly eyes and cute smile, but now…well now it's just an unfair battle!"

"Ohhh so does that mean you've changed your mind about the scan?" Arizona asked hopefully.

Arizona had suggested that they find out the sex at the scan they had scheduled for next week, but Callie had wanted to keep it a surprise. Arizona had argued the practicalities of knowing in advance and also said that she thought it might help Sofia get used to the idea when they sat her down to tell her the news.

Arizona had insisted they wait until the second scan at the start of the second trimester before they told anyone. She was starting to get a little baby bump now, but she was able to hide with baggy tops and whilst her boobs were bigger, she had when Sam asked one day, put it all down to a new bra. She had had to tell work because of the X-ray machine and possible risk to the baby, but other than telling Dr Dawson, it was their secret.

"Okay...you win!" Callie had said with a smile "we'll find out the sex, but only so we can start thinking of names and so we can tell Sofia" Callie had consented.

"Yay!" Arizona had replied happily "Thank you Callie. Thank you for agreeing" the blonde said with another big dimpled smile.

"See..." Callie said shaking her head and rolling her eyes "...again with the dimples!" Callie chuckled as she picked up the car keys and headed out to the grocery store.

On the day of the second scan Callie had headed to the woman's centre to pick Arizona up. Whilst she could have totally of had the scan down at the clinic, they had agreed to have the baby at another hospital that neither of them worked at.

"What if there is something wrong?" Arizona asked nervously as they travelled in the cab to the hospital
"Well then we'll deal with that if and when it happens OK?" Callie said reassuringly.

20 minutes later and Arizona was on the examination trolly trying hard to control her nerves. As the weeks had passed, she felt more relaxed as the chances of a miscarriage decreased, but there was always the worry of the baby not developing correctly. Arizona couldn't help but think of April and Jackson and poor baby Samuel.

Callie gripped Arizona's hand tightly as the cold gel was squirted onto Arizona's growing baby bump.

"OK so I understand you guys have requested to know the sex right?" The sonographer said as she focused on the screen in front of her.

Arizona looked at Callie to make sure she was still OK to find out and the brunette nodded with a smile.

"Yes please" Arizona responded nervously. More than finding out the sex she wanted to know if everything was OK with the baby.

"Well...Congratulations..." she said as she spun the monitor around "you...are having a baby boy" she smiled as she pointed to the tiny penis between the baby's legs.

Arizona looked at Callie both with tears forming in their eyes as they looked at their baby on the monitor.

"And everything is OK!" Callie double checked the screen as the two doctors studied the image carefully.

"No abnormalities, the organs are OK, how's the brain?" Arizona quizzed the poor woman.

"Yes, yes everything is looking great. The heart and brain are how we want to see at this time and size wise he is developing well."

"He!" Arizona whispered to herself before turning to look at Callie "We're having a baby boy!"

"We're having a baby boy!" Callie repeated and lent in to kiss Arizona.

"And everything is OK." Arizona said relieved.

Callie nodded her reply "it all looks great baby" she said turning back to screen as they watched in awe as their little baby boy moved his tiny hand.

"I think he has your nose!" Callie said happily as she wiped a stray tear away from her cheek.

That night as they got ready for bed they discussed telling people the news now that the scan had been OK. Arizona had ordered a T-shirt saying best big sister and they planned to tell her at the weekend with a special brunch.

"Do you think she'll be OK?" Arizona asked

"Are you kidding?" Callie replied "Someone else to boss around…she is going to be delighted" the brunette smiled.

"Jeez I hadn't thought of that! Our poor son" Arizona said laughing.

Callie climbed into bed and snuggled up to Arizona so she was spooning the blonde, as she did most nights. She had started falling asleep with her hand resting lightly on Arizona's little bump and closed her eyes. After a few minutes, her eyes shot open as she felt Arizona take her hand off the baby bump and slowly slide it down between her thighs.

"Arizona are you sure?" Callie whispered hopefully as she touched her wife intimately for the first time in many months.

"Very sure" Arizona replied as she placed Callie's fingers inside her shorts.

So I've promised someone I'll go back to Shooting Straight soon, so I'm going to try my hardest to finish this story by the weekend.

I'd love to try and build in some of your thoughts, so if you've enjoyed reading this story over the past eight months then please help me decide how the story ends.

Questions for you:
Small or big wedding? Part of me thinks that a small intimate one would be more fitting, but if people would prefer a big reunion with old characters one then I'll write that.

Wedding before or after the baby? If it's small I think it makes sense to do it before the baby, but if we're going big then it'll probably be more fun after in terms of dancing.

Song for their first dance – I have one in mind, bit I'd love to hear what some of you would chose for them.

Baby names – what shall we call their little boy? Thinking Tim has to be the middle name.
