More than seven years prior to the 74th Hunger Games, Peeta's oldest brother Rye meets Primrose and her family. Everlark is going to happen in the background, but the main story is about Rye and Prim. Starts close to canon, but rebellion will be somewhat different. The story (and games) is entirely told from Rye's point of view. Sequel: "Forward-looking plans with the baker's son".

"The voice of the mockingjay?"

What was that supposed to mean? Was that a ruse from the Capitol to suppress something or even to expose those who might actually want to join a rebellion? What was it going to imply for Katniss and Peeta and the other tributes? What would that mean for us here in District Twelve?

I have also started to work on another sequel, taking place about a century later in both Panem and Central Europe. I like to imagine how the world might look like once Panem has recovered from the tyranny and once districts can expand their areas. I may publish that at a later time.]
