Chapter 39…

Down at the hospital Janet had been with Liberty for a while. She was just on her way to the elevators to go out and get something to eat when she ran into her sister;" Hi, Terri. What are you doing here?"

"When I got back at metro Dusty told me that you have been there, looking for me." said she;" I thought it might be important so I can down here."

"What else did he say?" asked Janet worried;" Did he say anything else?"

"No, just that you were looking for me." answered her sister curious;" Why were you looking for me, Janet? Is everything okay?"

"I was upset and wanted to talk to you." sighed she;" I ran a run in with Carly and her sister, Rosanna."

"You did?" replied Terri surprised;" Where?"

"At her house in Milltown." said her sister;" I went over there to rip up the divorce papers infront of Jack to let him know how I felt about it because I knew he'd be there, but that lush nearly attacked. And Rosanna had the nerve to threaten me, Terri. So I was really upset."

"Why did you over to Carly's house?" began she hesitating, worried about upsetting her sister even more;" Jack lives out at the farm, doesn't he?"

"Maybe on paper, but I'm sure that he's over at her house all the time. He probably even sleeps there." answered Janet;" I told that lush to tell him that it would be a cold day in hell before I signed those damn papers!"

"Maybe you should just sign them and get it over with." suggested her sister;" What is the point in all of this when you know that jack doesn't want to be with you anymore, Janet. No matter how hard you keep trying to delay this divorce it won't change the fact that Jack is with Carly now."

"That is just another stupid fase and he will change his mind again." said she angry and walked away;" That will never last."

Margo was sitting in her office when jack walked in;" Hey. Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure, Jack. What is it?" asked Margo looking up;" Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine or atleast it will be." replied he with a faint smile;" I only wanted to ask if I could get a few days off next week."

"Sure." answered his friend curious;" Are you going on a trip or something?"

"Not exactly, Margo." smiled Jack;" With everything that has been going I want to do something nice for Carly on valentine's day and I thought I'd do something really special."

"Really?" asked she surprised;" What did you have in mind?"

"That's a surprise, but I need a few days off for it." replied her friend;" So is it okay if it take the 14e until the 16e Februari off?"

"Sure." answered Margo;" I think it's sweet of you to do something special for Carly. I hope you guys have a great time, Jack."

"Thanks." said he and walked away again;" I hope that she will love my surprise."
