Daryl and Merie Dixon have had hard lives. They have only ever had each other and sometimes they were by themselves. When the world ends and they join a group of survivers will they find the one thing they haven't had their entire lives a family. Who will they lose and who will live. This is a crossover with Fear the walking dead. Pretty much them in Atlanta instead of La.

I will be trying to do POVs on the next chapter as this chapter only focuses on three people, and the next one should focus on Shane's group. Enjoy!

Virginia

Jesus sat on the couch that he has been staying in with Carson and Aiden. Aiden was back up on his feet. They had buried his friends a few hours earlier, and Aiden was preparing to head back to his community. "Are you guys sure you don't want to come? You'll be safe," Aiden says to them.

"No, we won't, it won't be safe when Negan finds you," Jesus says to him.

"Who the hell is Negan? You keep mentioning his name," Aiden says.

"Negan is the leader of a group called the saviors. When his group finds you and they will, you will either do what he says, or somebody you love will die. He killed a boy in our community. His name was Rory, and he beat his head in with a bat. I'm getting as far away from here as possible," Jesus tells them as he stands up and grabs his bag. "Speaking of which, I'm leaving now," Jesus says as he walks to the door. Before he can leave, Carson opens the door and shuts it. He holds a finger to his lips.

"Gregory sold us out. There are saviors out there looking for us," Carson tells them.

"Where are the guns?" Jesus asks Aiden, who sets his back down and pulls out to Ar's. They grab the guns and get down.

"Jesus, Doc, where are you?" He hears a man yell. Jesus cocks the gun.

"I'm going around back. If they come in, kill them," Jesus tells them. They nod as Jesus goes to the back door and opens it slowly. He walks outside and to the side of the house. He looks at the other side of the house and sees a man coming. Jesus puts the gun around his back and pulls out his knife. Jesus pushes himself up against the wall as the savior comes around. When he turns the corner, Jesus jabs his knife into the savior's neck. The man looks at him with wide eyes as he grabs the knife. Jesus pulls the knife out and lets the man fall to the ground. Jesus bends down by him and stabs the man in the head. Jesus takes his handgun off him and the shotgun and puts it around his back as he moves the Ar to the front and holds it. Jesus goes to the other side of the house as a gunshot goes off at the front of the house. Jesus goes around the house and sees the saviors moving towards the house. He aims the gun and shoots two of them in the chest. They shoot at him as he goes into cover. He could hear Carson and Aiden shooting from inside. Jesus hears footsteps behind him. He turns around as a savior aims his gun at him. Jesus kicks the man's leg. The man pulls out his knife.

"That is the last mistake you'll ever make," The man says. Jesus pulls his sword out as the man swings at him. Jesus moves back and cuts off the man's hand. He screams as Jesus drives his sword through his heart. He pulls the sword out as Carson and Aiden come over.

"We should get out of here," Carson says. Jesus nods as he walks towards the truck the saviors had brought here. They had also brought a jeep.

"Take the jeep and go home, Aiden," Jesus tells Aiden as he goes to the driver's side of the truck. Aiden looks at the bodies on the ground and then back at Jesus and Carson.

"No, I'm coming with you," Aiden tells him. They look at him.

"You have family in Alexandria," Carson says.

"That won't matter when Negan and the saviors find us. My mother will listen to him, so nobody dies. But I won't. I will not bow to that asshole. When my parents have somebody come looking for me, they will see this, and they will think I'm dead. One day I will come back here with more people, and I will kill Negan and the saviors. But I will not stay here and wait for him to find us," Aiden says to Jesus and Carson.

"Fine, get in," Jesus tells him as he climbs into the truck. Aiden climbs in the back as Carson gets in the front. Jesus turns the truck around and drives. Jesus drives down the road. "You two should drive to get some sleep. If we can, I would like to avoid stopping until this thing runs out of gas," Carson and Aiden nod as Aiden lays down in the back and Carson puts his seat back. Jesus watches the road as he tries to get out of Virginia.
