This was a story idea that I had a long time ago. I started it and it's been sitting in my google docs, but I haven't been able to get any further than this and I've lost my motivation for it, so I figured it could just be a one-shot.

Here's the synopsis for it:
Synopsis: Kids start disappearing all over New York leaving the police baffled. The Doctor receives a distress call in her TARDIS and goes to New York to aid the police in the safe rescue of the children. How will Olivia react when a woman in a long trench coat walks into the precinct and starts acting like she's in charge of the investigation?

The Doctor is on the TARDIS with her fam when she gets an alert, that comes with a loud beeping, on her TARDIS screens. As she reads the alert, she tries to hide the fear from showing on her face, but her fam can tell that something is wrong. Even if they can't read the Gallifreyan writing on the alert.

"What is it, Doctor?" Yaz wondered

"Well, it's not that big of a deal." The Doctor fibbed

Graham looked at the Doctor in the way that he does when he doesn't believe what she's said, "Doc."

"Okay, actually it is. It's a Gallifreyan alert. There's a time lord on Earth. Rassilon. He's tried to destroy the Earth once. In the year that never was."

"So where are we going?" Ryan asked

The Doctor grinned, "New York. 2016."

Meanwhile in New York at the sixteenth precinct, Lieutenant Olivia Benson and her detectives were investigating the disappearance of ten pubescent children over the span of two weeks. There were no witnesses to any of the disappearances and the kids also disappeared two at a time. Needless to say the police had nothing. They were pretty much stumped.

Olivia, Amanda, Fin, and Dominick are reviewing the case board with the kids' pictures, ages, ethnicity and disappearance locations, when they hear footsteps and the voice of a british woman.

"So what have we got?"

Olivia turned around to face the woman who had spoken, "Uh...Can I help you?"

Olivia stared at the woman, who wore a long trench coat and was accompanied by an older gentleman, a young african american man, and a pakistani young woman.

"Oh right, of course," The woman said as she pulled something out of her pocket and held it up like a badge.

Amanda squinted her eyes at the badge, "You're the police commissioner's primary aide?!"

"Yes, yes that's me. My name's Janie, but you can call me The Doctor."

"Doctor Who?" Dominick asked

The Doctor shook her head, "No, just The Doctor."

Olivia nodded, "Okay Doctor, is there anything I can help you with?"

"No. But I can help you with something." The Doctor replied as she walked over to the case board. She examined it and then turned to face the detectives, "Tell me everything about the case."

"What is the police commissioner's interest in this case?" Fin questioned

The Doctor shrugged, "I don't know, but I don't ask questions when I'm given an order." She looks over at her comanions, "Isn't that right, fam?"

"Totally, Doc." Graham replied

"Yeah, been meaning to ask. Who are you three?" Olivia wondered

Graham pointed at himself, "Well I'm Graham." He points at his grandson, "That's my grandson Ryan, and the woman next to him is Yaz."

"They're my entourage." The Doctor added, "Now tell me everything about these missing kids."

"Well the kids are disappearing two at a time." Amanda stated, "And they are all of a pubescent age."

The Doctor nodded slowly, "Huh. Interesting."

"Doc?"

"Take me to the places where the kids were last seen."

"That's the weird thing." Fin said, "They all went missing from the same spot."

The Doctor pointed to the door, "Then let's go."
